I stopped by this past Saturday to pick up a cake that was ordered online and decided to purchase some other treats. The cake was supposed to be ready by 8am. I went a little after 10am and it was not ready, they were finishing the cake when I got there. I didn't have to be anywhere right away so it was fine. While I was waiting I decided to look around. Not only was it beautifully decorated with chocolate and fruits it was also perfectly sweet (not overly sweet) and light. I have to say this was disappointing, especially when I read the reviews left by last customers whom have made a comment to the sanitary habits and quality of freshness in the bakery. This is also my second time here in years and certainly my last! Here's my verdict. This place is overwhelmed with many people who want dessert, breads, drinks etc. I do believe that the volume of patrons is translating into an egotistical "it's-not-a-big-deal" mindset in the operation of this establishment and becomes a direct issue for the consumer. That's never good for business and I will always review ANY place I decide to give my business too. Another thing I noticed is the lack of general appreciation and simple consideration from the staff to the customer. I witnessed a person sweeping with a broom while people are actively trying to build their food tray. It's food!!!!! At least pick up what fell, don't bring a dirty dustpan and huge broom out to the bakery floor where a person is choosing their food. First occasion: My wife used a gift card to order pastries online from this location, when we went to pick it up and to her surprise the attendant in the store saying that the pastry has not been paid for, now we were left with gift card that was charged to and no pastry to take home. My answer is they were placed in the cardboard box so nothing is visible unless you open the box. i guess my mistake was trusting people working there who knowingly or unknowingly did not place rest of my order in the box!! My purchase total was around $70, and if they were decent people at least they will accommodate my complaint and reimburse me for the 2 croissants. it seems to me the people working at this place think everyone is like themselves, dishonest and not-customer friendly. Another wonderful Korean bakery chain which I've visited in several different cities now and it's always a great place to browse. It's always packed full of people, and we always enjoy coming in here. This one is in Edison right next to the Kung Fu Tea here, and we liked it, but at the same time it's a little pricey, and some of the baked items are much less good than the others. It is French inspired and influenced business based in Korea. Paris Baguette is not just a cafe, it is truly an experience. The cafe is designed for social experience: modern little private nooks, low and high tables on the inside as well as sitting on the outside of the cafe. They have anything from a chocolate chip cookie to a macaroon cake! You pick up a tray, grab anything you like, and eventually find a spot to sit down and enjoy.
