I am very surprised when I walked into this Hilton Head location at 1:45pm that many items were sold out. My son decided he wanted a donut while we were out meandering around Hilton Head Island. Well it turned out that we were not very good at finding an open bakery, for a donut, and asked if a pastry would work. Thankfully he agreed and we ended up at the Paris Baguette. Walking Into Paris Baguette was just beautiful. The pastries are beautifully made, while the lighting is bright and airy feeling. With all the beautiful and delicious looking pastries it was hard to narrow down what to get. We ended up with sweet bread, a caramel apple lattice type dessert and a mango donut/sweet bread type item and everything was amazing! So much so that I didn't even think to get a picture! I liked that The Paris Baguette is mostly self serve with a few cakes behind behind the counter. After a disappointing last dinner of vacation, Yelp found us this place for dessert. In all the 20+ years I've vacationed in HHI, I've never been in this shopping center. Some of it is old but it has at least three new spot. Paris Baguette is one of them. We arrived about an hour before closing so selection was limited but you walk in and you immediately smell delicious bread and dessert smells. There were several options for cakes and rolls and croissants that were still available and look incredibly fresh and delicious. We got a slice of the chocolate ganache cake and then a box of Macarons that we split. They were delightful interesting flavors and the chocolate cake was not too heavy. It was definitely light and fluffy but still Rich deep chocolate flavor. The rest of the family got other cakes that were available and they all agreed that they were delicious and we are definitely coming back to this place for some of their breakfast options when we come on vacation next year.
