Don't leave without double checking your change here!! I don't have an issue with the bread/food at this location, but I ran into a weird situation today. The young cashier girl (receipt says Christine C) didn't give me back the correct change. I gave her a $50 dollar bill (and it was my fault for not checking on the spot) but I didn't count the change and left with my items. Then shortly after I finished up my shopping in the market, I realized I only got $14 instead of $34 (receipt photo attached) and when I went back to ask her for the correct change, she nonchalantly said oh okay, here's your change. Sure some may think $20 isn't a big deal but the fact that this may happen to others should be alarming. She didn't apologize and the way she spoke sounded like it happens often? I love this place. A few of the things that make this a stand out: hot bread; great selection and variety of items; seasonal items; opens at 7 am so you can get some pastries to take to work; and everything is consistently fresh and tasty, made with quality ingredients. It's artisanal quality which I hope they will maintain in the future. What really sold me on this place is that they don't skimp on the cream and cheese fillings. Most bakeries will fill you up on cheap flour and sugar. This one focuses on taste. You can tell by the weight of their cheese danish that it's a quality product. Frostings are whipped cream and cakes are not too sweet, though I imagine the kiddie items (cakes etc geared towards kids) are a lot sweeter. My kids always love their cream filled donuts and mochi donuts, so they must be right on target. We've gotten their cakes for birthdays, Christmas, etc. read more

Ordered a cake here for my coworker's birthday last week. I called in the day before to pre order the cake which was super easy. You just let them know what cake you would like, what you want on it, and the pick up time. They also take your card over the phone so you just pick it up and go once it's ready. I did notice though that there was a price increase for the Blueberry Chiffon. The cake is now $41.99 and it was literally like $35.99 the last time I bought it in Sept 2020. On the day, I picked up the cake, it was exactly how I wanted it. Everyone at work loved it so much. The Blueberry Chiffon is my go-to order. It's always a hit. The cake is not so sweet that even my coworkers who don't like eating cake enjoy eating this one. The fruits are so fresh and yummy and the cake is so moist. It's literally like eating a delicious blueberry muffin. Overall, I had a pleasant experience ordering the cake. The associate on the phone was helpful and friendly. Out of the many Paris Baguette locations in my area, I think this one the best. The number of section in the morning to mid-morning time is more abundant than other locations I've been to in the area. Tbh this one isn't the closest one. In fact, I have to ride further and longer to come to this one. But I am willing to do that if time permits because I have come to like this branch the best. Honestly, I work abt 2-3 min away from a P&B but they seem to never really be in stock... So... This is my favorite one in the area so far. Location : It is located inside a Zion Market on Irvine Blvd. Keep in mind that there are two Zion Markets in Irvine. So try to make sure you are going to the one by Irvine Blvd. After entering the market, head to the furthers right corner of the market and TADAA! Service : I am quite forgetful and distracted at times. I wanted to take some pictures to post on Yelp because I enjoyed their services for quite some time, that I totally forgot that I paid and they packed all the bread for me. I legit walked off and a worker came running over with my big bag of yummy goodness. That was both embarrassing and touching. I don't remember the worker's name but I really want to say "thank you!!" If you are in the area, definitely stop by to check it out. I recommend coming earlier in the day while the products are fresh so you can really experience their hardwork to the fullest. read more

I love coming here because they always have fresh pastries and my favorites are chocolate croissants, almond croissants, croissant donut, and red bean buns. They also have a wide variety of freshly made cakes and cake rolls to choose from. Price is on the higher side but it's worth it as their quality is pretty good.
