Rainbow Cake!
Susan R.

To the best of all things! Shall we meet and discuss this day, we need the right snacks to do this! This days are unlike all other days, for we are here. It's the small things in life that make it all possible. We rise to the challenge. We need caffeine. They have some real great powerful ideas for caffeine here. Then we have breakfast! Hmmm! You decide . Now the breads and cakes! Yesss! On a recent drive by, this local is new to us. We were out here in Summerlin. The parking is ample. You will have to walk some depending on the time of day. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the weather or each other. Now we all know that cake carbs don't really count . Besides you will work it off. The rainbow cake truly the most best. The staff here are amazing! They are patient and caring. Thank you for making the cake especially the best.

So honestly I wasn't a huge fan of this establishment. Yes it's aesthetically pleasing to look at however the quality isn't up to par in my opinion. It was my first time ever going here and mind you it can seem overwhelming with all the selections, yet you can narrow it down. I got a grilled cheese sandwich, a chocolate croissant and (2) hot dog pastries. The grilled cheese was bland, oily, and it really needed something to go with it or more seasoning to add more of a flavor to it. One of my hot dog pastries was a garlic flavor and it was interesting. Too many different flavors all at once. It didn't really compliment together. The strawberry mint lemonade though was refreshing and freshly made. Now the service...it wasn't terrible however it's a bit in my opinion annoying when you get asked how to spell your name and the cashier still spells it incorrectly and then you request to ONLY have (2) out of the (4) items to be warmed up and the rest boxed up and they warm up all your items. Luckily a different cashier was able to resolve it by giving new pastries over to make up for it. Would I willingly come back? Hmm maybe yet honestly I don't know. However, if you like aesthetically pleasing ambience and bland food then please don't let my opinion stop you from enjoying what this establishment has to offer. Mind you, I paid altogether $30 dollars for (4) pastries and a drink.

We come in every time we are in downtown Summerlin, and every time the service is amazing. The pastries are top tier and leave you wanting more. The atmosphere is calm and never chaotically busy. Definitely a 10/10 spot.

Cute bakery with a ton of sweet and savory selections. They also have a variety of Nutella pastries and coffees. They even have cakes, Japanese inspired cakes, sandwiches, hot dogs, pizzas, macarons, and more. When you walk in, there's a tray to your right where you can start to grab whatever goodies you want. Very efficient. Once you're done, you can check out on the counter and choose to dine in or take it to go. There's plenty of seating. I decided to get the iced Nutella latte and a creme brulee creme puff. The creme brulee creme puff includes torched sugar on top and creme brulee custard in the pastry. I thought there might've been a bit too much creme brulee custard in the pastry, but it was still delicious. The Nutella latte could've used more nutella or hazelnut flavor. This might be my one stop shop for cakes and desserts to take to a party or small gathering. I definitely will come back.

Love love this location. Paris Baguette in Downtown Summerlin is such a cute spot for a quick treat or coffee date The pastries are beautifully made and taste just as good as they look--fresh, light, and not overly sweet. Their cakes are especially impressive, perfect for celebrations or just because! The atmosphere is clean and modern, with plenty of options to choose from whether you're craving something savory or sweet. Service was quick, even when it got a bit busy. Cashier took the time to show off all their cakes to us top notch service. Only thing to note--it can get a little crowded during peak hours, but that just shows how popular it is. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

This is a nice pastries and coffee spot in DTS. It's very clean and well kept. The prices are typical for the things that they offer. The service seemed a little slow the times we come but it does get busy. They have seating areas if you come in to relax and have coffee and conversation.

It's Saturday morning and we don't have a lot of work this morning for the crew, so they're all munching down on the free breakfast at the hotel. I've stayed at enough hotels, I'm a little tired of the same free breakfast, so since I was out getting fuel in the big suburban, I decided to treat myself to some nice pastries and relax a little by myself. I heard of this Paris Baguette place that's supposed to be sort of a Korean crossed with a French bakery, but looking around it seems more French Bakery than Asian Bakery. This location is on the Summerlin side of town, the west side. I have some work sites over here, so I thought I'd check that out too. I get here and it's early and not too crowded. I go in and what you do is get a tray and just walk around looking into all the clear cases with beautiful tasty treats. Geeze ... I could eat everything here! I picked out a strawberry cream filled croissant and a round donut like thing that looked interesting, I forgot what it was called. Basically you really can't go wrong with anything here. I got a coffee to go with my treats. I was able just to sit and relax or once ... being the boss isn't always easy! I sure wish a place like this was located more near to where I live! I'd be here everyday! This sure beats the free breakfast at the hotel!

I was having a sugar craving and decided to pop into Paris Baguette in downtown Summerlin and wow, I was stunned by the amount of options they had. Every kind of treat imaginable! I ended up trying some macarons, and they were absolutely delicious. What I really loved was the huge variety of desserts. I already know I'll be back the next time I'm hosting an event because this would be the perfect place to grab treats for a dessert charcuterie board. They also offer savory items and coffee as well. The bakery itself is spacious with plenty of indoor seating, plus some outdoor seating as well if you want to stay and enjoy your food there. It's self selection then you pay at the counter. The staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend this place if you have a sweet tooth!

Food is lowk tuff and good and i like the food picking system wit the tongs, love the variety and the people are very nice

Delicious freshly baked pastries every morning, great coffee, fresh bread, and incredibly friendly staff. A wonderful place to enjoy breakfast. Highly recommended!

This is a new storefront (larger than the others that I have been that also has ample seating inside and out, as well as WiFi hookups. It's situated on the perimeter of the extensive Summerlin Mall and I love the ease of parking! As usual the amount of pastries was pretty endless and the Baguettes to die for coming fresh and fragrant out of the oven. I would like to see more savoury selections that a vegetarian could enjoy. (How about Mushrooms and Spinach? Or use the Gluten free smoky Hotdogs) I am a pescatarian with gluten allergies and was sad to see they had completely run out of their seafood offering. (Maybe next time...) We chose an assortment of pastries and coffee (latté hot and an ice coffee). I also bought some sourdough for later. I liked that the slices are thicker than average. Ashley took great care of our orders! She definitely earned for her service!

Do they have breakfast?

They have a ton of pastries that could be used for breakfast such as quiches and donuts as well as some more hearty items that could be more geared towards lunch or just a sweet treat.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

Very small interior, but a vast selection of treats. They offer donuts, cookies, even banana bread! Unfortunately with my evening visit, all of the donuts were sold out. Again, I came for the cookies so not a problem. I chose the Cookie Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie as well as the White Chocolate Chip Ube. I took them home as take out. Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. Infinitely surpasses the quality of chains like Crumbl. Great stop in Centennial Hills amongst several businesses. Even relatively walkable for Las Vegas. Sweet find!

There was a time when I came almost every week,…read moreand whenever my friends had birthdays, I would preorder their cakes here because I genuinely love the quality of the desserts. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
