Beautiful place, beautiful pastries. Yes it's very popular right now and the weight is pretty long. It can get pretty wild in there. That said everything I've tried was light and crispy, chewy and flavorful and some of the finest pastries I've ever had! Excellent service.. will return.

    Nice front window seating

Good first experience with Paris Baguette's grand opening in Louisville - the crowd was packed! If it's your first time, this is more a 4/5 quality place. The pastries and drinks I had were good, esp the Strawberry Mint Lemonade and the Pineapple Pastry. Good flavors & great pastry breads. Kudos to the chefs and staff. They handled the opening weekend rush well! My reasoning for the 3/5 review is the food selection - there's seemingly less Korean and Asian inspired offerings here than expected. I've been to the Paris Baguette in Chicago, and my gf's been to one in Tokyo. Obviously I don't expect 100% same offerings in Louisville... but it felt more "white-washed" than I'd hoped for. I say that as a Caucasian man. I had the Korean BBQ Beef Wrap and the beef tasted bland. There were other options we didn't see, like: Pineapple Bread, Matcha Bread, Mango Cake, Ube Cake, Coconut pastries, different Curry breads, egg tarts, etc. My girlfriend is Filipino and we enjoy sampling Asian restaurants with her friend group of Filipinos, Koreans, Chinese, etc. We will visit here with them, but I hope to see Paris Baguette embrace more of its' Korean roots & be a truly unique offering in town! If not then there'll be a lacking re-visit appeal. If more Korean-inspired offerings were there & we missed them due to the huge crowds, or will be present soon, then I'll revise this review. Am rooting for it to succeed!

If you have been to Cincinnati you have heard of this bakery. Filled to the brim with sweet treats, sandwiches, and beverages, there is not a chance you are unable to find something to satisfy your appetite. This location recently opened in Louisville and is beautiful inside. The parking could be better but it may get better once the hype dies down. I enjoyed a bubble donut with fruity cereal and a slice of strawberry soft crème cake. The cake was excellent! Super soft and moist and the berries were fresh. The bubble donut was super tasty. It ate like a bowl of cereal but was light and airy, making it easier to enjoy than a dense donut. The workers were out in full force giving it their all to provide a good experience to everyone. Even though there was a rush and long line they were kind and helpful to everyone. Happy to have another bakery in Lou!

There were many pastries to choose from and while we were only there for about 45 minutes I saw the workers bring our fresh ones three different times. There was enough seating for a guests coming in on a Tuesday afternoon but not so much sure on a Friday/Saturday. Coming back here for sure , truly a gem.

It was too crowded and they did not have the other Asian baked goodies I was hoping to find. Although the other baked goods remained delicious and fresh. Also, there was a lady with her trump hat that visited which is just not appealing specially for a Korean cultured bakery. Other than this, I would still recommend it for my friends to try.

    My pastry haul!

I am so happy to see a bakery like this in Louisville! Their pastries are the real deal! The selection is huge and everything I had reminded me of being in Europe. Nothing was overly sweet and everything tasted fresh!

I recently went here as I saw the pictures online and really wanted to try it out! It's still very new so there was quite the crowd, and no parking spots. Cars were creating there own spots but I opted for parking at the closed down Wendy's next door and just walking over. Once inside I was a little nervous about the line, but it actually moved rather quickly. I had no idea how it all worked so thankfully a polite woman in front of me was able to help me out! Theres a spot for trays and grabbers so you just get those and basically fill your tray with what you want. There were so many people I couldn't see that area so it would have been nice to have more clear instructions, especially when there's a crowd and you can't really see/get to the tray area. Everything looked delicious but the portions were all very large so I tried to get some things on the smaller size (I haven't 0 willpower when it comes to sweets and could have devoured the larger pastries ). There's a huge selection of sweet pastries and also some on the savory side. I wanted to try a coffee as well but you don't order that until you get ready to pay. You can choose to have them box your treats up or you can eat there. The inside isn't super large so there didn't seem to be a ton of seating but there is a cute patio outside with more seating available. I went to an iced Carmel latte and it was definitely very lackluster so I wouldn't recommend it. All in all I'm glad I went but with so many other bakeries and pastries around I will probably be sticking to my local places instead of chains!

    Trash

Full-Time Manager Needed I've decided to take it upon myself to post a manager position for Paris Baguette. Today was my third visit, and unfortunately, it was the most disappointing one yet. I was genuinely excited when this establishment came to Louisville, and I understand that new businesses need time to work through startup challenges. However, what I experienced today was completely unacceptable. The amount of overflowing trash was concerning. Litter had spread throughout the parking lot and patio area, creating an unsanitary and unwelcoming environment. The tables were filthy and covered in crumbs--to the point that my wife had to clean our table before we could sit down. I'm not even going to address the lack of inventory for sandwiches and salads, because that's not the purpose of this review. My concern is the cleanliness and overall condition of the restaurant. At the moment, the establishment appears poorly maintained, and it is clear that stronger management and attention to detail are needed. I truly want this location to succeed because Louisville deserves a great Paris Baguette. I hope management addresses these issues quickly and restores the standard of cleanliness and customer experience that customers expect.

If you visit Louisville and don't stop here for a bite to eat, I feel sorry for your taste buds and…read morebelly. All of the reviews about the Danwich are TRUE! True people! Because it was bigger than my head (ok, maybe this is a slight exaggeration but not by much) i had to disassemble it to eat it in stages. First off were the waffle fries and I found them to be tasty, crunch and fluffy in all the right spots. Once the taters were off I cut that biggie baby in 8 'Oh My Danwich' slices. Y'all, I rarely find myself at a loss for words, even my high dollar, 10 letter ones, but I can't fill this space with all the adjectives I would want in describing this sanwich that would make you want breakfast for every meal. The sausage had that savory salty pork taste that makes you happy you're not a vegetarian with an egg slice that was fluffier than my German Shepherd's downy fur. The cheese even had a nice pull with the topper being their chive aioli. And that sandwich was just the beginning because I also ordered a Strawberry Cruffin, Bourbon Peach hand pie and a raspberry Danish to have as late night snacks. The handpie didn't do it for me. The peaches lacked flavor that I found myself asking bestie if she wanted it because I was jiat going to toss in the trash after just 2 bites. The strawberry mascarpone cream in the cruffin was silky smooth and berrylicious with the croissant being flaky and fluffy. It was almost like a sweet and savory after school snack. The kind of bakery item that keeps you coming back for more. And more. And the piece de resistance was the raspberry Danish. I've lived my 61 years learning to never turn down raspberry anything and today, my raspberry research paid off. One hundred percent tenfold. Even though the glaze drizzle was super sweet, the flaky danish offset it with that light crunch but fluffy innards. Y'all, with each bite I just fell more in love. The Danish was so good that when I came to my last bite not only was I sad that it would soon be gone but I wanted to cry. Cry y'all. Over a Danish! Yes, do it. You only live once. Order the Danwich & the Danish. You won't be sorry. You can pay me in Butchertown gift cards. Or Bourbon. Hubby's brother lives across the Ohio so, next time he goes to visit them I'm going with him. Just so I can drive over here and try their lunch items and grab more danishes. The folks were super friendly, the place both clean and quiet. Which, kinda surprised me because the food is so good I couldn't understand why there weren't lines around the block. That changed the longer we dined in as folks just started roaming in. I said to my friend that the Louisville folk must get started late in the day.

The amount of variety on the menu was pretty nice, looks like there's something here for most people. I had the Cobb Salad and was happy with the amount of colorful vegetables and toppings on my plate. It comes with mixed greens (glad to see more salads with mixed greens instead of romaine), roasted chicken, nice crispy bacon, a hardboiled egg, blue cheese, black olives, tomato, avocado and a good amount of dressing. It tastes very fresh and is a decent portion size, but in terms of flavor there wasn't much going on. It tastes like "greens" and that's kinda it. I don't know what the cause is, like it's seasoned but I just didn't get much flavor. Perhaps my pallet prefers stronger flavors over lighter ones, so take this with a grain of salt (figuratively, or maybe literally). If you're in the area, check em out.
