    Chocolate Nutella pastey
    Emily A.

I was driving by and saw Crumbles Patisserie from the corner of my eye and saw space to park in front so I did a quick stop and parked. Outside I noticed tables and chairs, the chairs are really nice with soft material they look so comfortable and most likely can't be put outside when it rains! Upon entering I was greeted by a lovely smell of pastries and I voiced this out loud and the girl in the front said "Oh." When I asked questions she had very short answers for me. I asked how long they've been in business and she said it's been approximately a year, and then when I asked if the lemonade are sweet because I don't like too sweet she said they don't have lemonade available right now. I admired the gorgeous pastries and I mentioned that if I ever had an elegant event I would love these gorgeous pastries but I still didn't get much reaction. I orderd 4, mostly ordering from how beautiful they look, these pastries are elaborately decorated with fresh roses and edible glitter. I got the strawberry Nutella, chocolate Nutella, red velvet, and fraisé tart to go. The pastries are a little pricey at 7 per pastry so I truly expected them to be as amazing as the reviews said they would be. When I got home I tried the strawberry Nutella one and it was just ok. It's allot of whipped cream on two pastry crackers and then there's a tiny bit of chocolate under which didn't taste like Nutella to me. I suspect the chocolate one will be the same. Then I tried the fraisé tart, I loved that the strawberries were very thick and fresh and they matched perfectly with the whipped cream. I taste tested the red velvet cream and it's delicious, I can already tell that's the one that will be my favorite, instead of whipped cream it's whipped cream cheese frosting and it's decadent, I can't wait to eat that for dessert tomorrow. If you want some gorgeous eye candy pastries that sparkle and tickle your eyes with their beauty this is the place to get them.

This is the spot if you have a major sweet tooth and love a decadent sweet treat! The Velvet Bear: this one was my favorite. It's a chocolate and vanilla mousse with a caramelized hazelnut and walnut filling. Ruby: the texture is so fun, it has a soft, marshmallowy exterior with a zesty raspberry compote inside. Raspberry Pistachio Tart: Really fresh, nutty, and had a great snap to the shortbread crust. 24k Gold Mocha: super decadent, with strong espresso is flavors. They have such a cute girly interior, and I can't believe Sydney Sweeney and Sofia Vergara got cakes from here!

Most amazing cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday! Crumbles patisserie went above and beyond to do a gorgeous job. Couldn't have been more satisfied with the outcome! Thank you!

    Too pretty to eat.

Cruising down the street in my six-fo'. Outta the corner of my eye I caught a curious sight, so I swung a hard right to get the scoop. Founded by a self-taught baker, the classic French creations at Crumbles Patisserie look as if they were made by a Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef. Each unique morsel is made fresh daily from a special recipe. Inside the case are rows of beautiful pastries that look too pretty to eat. Celebrities love Katie's artistic Cookie Cakes. These lovely works of art can be customized with fresh flowers, fresh fruit, or macarons. It's far more fancy than your traditional cookie cake. The décor is just as exquisite. Marble floors, Tiffany blue seats, and a grand chandelier all emit a sleek, chic esthetic. Making a selection was difficult. I'll admit, I was a bit intimidated by the artistic desserts. Could something that pretty actually taste good? I ordered the Caramel Mille-Feuille just to be safe. OMG! The first bite was gasmic. It was SofaKing delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. The puff pastry was crisp and flaky. In between was a thin layer of caramel and a tasty pastry cream. It was also topped with a coating of yummy caramel. I was impressed! Next time I'm in the area I'm going to try one of the artistic creations. *Parking lot in the back.

All the desserts are delicious and taste like theyre made with time and love. I enjoy the ambience here as its pop uplifting hits on the music rotation, and the temperature is comfortable, which is important.I always want to stay longer than my schedule allows. The young gentleman who serves at the counter/ making drinks, taking payments is very pleasant and always feels welcoming. A Great place to come for a date, I imagine, spend an evening alone, or a quick stop to reset during the day. He offered the password upon seeing I came to study; a very pleasant attention to detail indeed. The first time I came it was evening and quite crowded, with a line. Today, a Tuesday afternoon, it is quite a bit slower. I imagine hours of popularity may vary so decide for yourself the vibe you want! Ciao!

We stopped by after having a hearty birthday lunch nearby. The place is clean welcoming and has a modern field. Staff was also extremely helpful. There is an endless selection of desserts for every tastebud. Not only that, detention. The detail in the presentation is top notch. I got the strawberry tart with the flower on top. Flavor was good. The cream at the perfect amount of sweetness, however, for the price of each item, it seemed just a bit pricey for my taste. However, it is still worth a visit for those who appreciate design and presentation of desserts. Located on N. Brand Ave., street parking is probably the best way to go. A worthwhile visit if you're looking for small bite-size, desserts for birthdays or special occasions.

Crumbles Patisserie is beautifully decorated inside out but unfortunately an overhyped place in my opinion. This place mostly got most of its popularity due to so many celebrities who have ordered cakes from here but, sadly my experience with the desserts here were just average. I tried this place twice so, I do give the desserts the benefit of doubt. I tried two different cakes in the two times I visited but unfortunately they were both dry and just not what I expected from such a famous patisserie. Staff were friendly both times and attentive so I had no issues with the customer service but, for the price and how popular this place is, I was expecting way better desserts!

Checked out this place with a friend. The ambiance of the store is great, the environment is clean and offers plenty of indoor seating. The desserts themselves I would say were alright, they looked gorgeous, but the taste was just okay. I wouldn't be rushing to come back just for the desserts. I enjoyed the banana cream latte I ordered, that was my favorite. The service was quick and friendly. Overall, I'm not sure if I would come back anytime soon, but the experience was enjoyable.

Edit: once I was able to finally drink the coffee it was gross. Tossed an $8+ cup of coffee that was practically inedible. Also the owner said that I was attended to promptly and that wasn't the case??? Some guy literally left because the worker was in the back and clearly doing dishes. Weird thing to try to lie about but I'm not coming back so I guess it doesn't matter. Well for starters I was waiting for somewhere between 5-10 minutes for the worker to notice me, she was in the back with headphones on. When she took my order I didn't think anything of her curtness until she was so nice and attentive to every person after me. And the drink? Well it's been 25 minutes since I'm typing this and it's still so piping hot that it's burned my mouth every time I've tried to drink it. I took a pic of the seasonal menu because I had thoughts of coming back. Not anymore.

Everything looked so good here, I planned all my errands around stopping here. There were a lot of holes in the pastry line up. Maybe I should've payed more attention to that so I knew what was popular. I'm a creature of habit though so I went for the ECLAIR and what I think was a NAPOLEON? The NAPOLEON in my mind was the layered crispy dessert. It was perfect and it stayed perfect overnight in the fridge. It was still crispy the next day. I liked the cream filling too. Overall yum! The ECLAIR was filled with custard which is usually my jam but the frosting was a white chocolate which I'm not a fan of. I should've asked. I assumed the pink frosting would be strawberry or something. I'm not really picky but the white chocolate overwhelmed everything else. So if you like white chocolate it's probably awesome. I got the LAVENDER MATCHA. It didn't do much for me but maybe it's just me. I'll definitely go back for more dessert. Maybe I'll sit and hang out, it's decorated super cute!

After dinner, I was looking for a nearby spot to grab a late coffee (open until 11pm) and came across Crumbles Patisserie on Apple Maps. Plenty of street parking and a good location, though it's a little easy to miss--I actually drove right past it at first. As soon as we walked in, I thought, gosh, what a cute spot. Clean, bright aesthetic with tons of beautifully decorated pastries. There were so many options I was honestly taken aback! But I was really just in the mood for coffee, so we ordered a latte and an americano, hung out for a bit, and enjoyed the cozy vibes. It's a little on the pricy side, but hey, a lot of hard work goes into those beautifully crafted items. Super friendly service, too. Definitely planning to tell my Glendale family and friends about this place!

You know the iconic giant cookie cakes from crumbles ? Well now you can order them at their stunning new location in Glendale. Aside from their cake orders they have a beautiful display of delicious and unique pastries and they serve some seriously fancy coffee as well. With the help of a very friendly worker, we ordered a bunch of items to try and let me tell you each one was more delicious and beautiful than the last.  From rich, decadent pastries to the perfect cup of coffee, this place is a must-visit. So it looks like you've found you're next coffee date location. Go enjoy the deliciousness!

I try to eat healthy, so having ice cream isn't something I do often, but after my first sample I knew I wouldn't be able to hold back. I ordered a double scoop and got one of the Orange Creamsicle and one of Nut Your Average Scoop. Both were delicious, but the Orange Creamsicle was my favorite. It was a refreshing take on the classic flavor. I especially loved the bits of orange zest sprinkled throughout. It only took one visit for me to become a fan of Moo Moo Mia and I can't wait to visit again!

The Bronte Sisters. The Jacksons... You win free ice cream on me if you recognize the pattern. Yes, that's right: these are all siblings who have seamlessly worked together in their respective fields. I raise the list to include Mia and Mark Pedersen - the brother and sister team behind the ice creamery Moo Moo Mia with locations in both Montrose and Monrovia. You won't find Mia and Mark bickering or partaking in sibling rivalry; but you WILL find them creating quality, home made ice cream for Angelinos. Mark and Mia made their way from Denmark to Los Angeles in 2009 initially working in a Danish franchise despite both having a background in ice cream-making. When Covid hit in 2020 with its path of destruction to so many businesses; Mark and Mia decided they should cut their losses and create their own company that they can rely on their decision-making and thus Moo Moo Mia was born. Moo Moo Mia strives to produce Grade-A ice cream using crème de la crème ingredients such as milk from Scott Brother Dairy cows (another sibling company where cows roam free on 900 acres and are hormone free producing sensational milk) and offer unique flavor combinations. After a recent poor gelato experience at another LA business; my boyfriend and I decided to reward ourselves with ice cream from Moo Moo Mia on Honolulu in Montrose (this was our second time at this location). Nestled in the charming central Montrose corridor; Moo Moo Mia welcomes with a pastel color wheel façade/signage and a small square footage ice cream shop. When I say 'small'; I genuinely mean small as Moo Moo Mia is tiny with a display case/order counter and a claustrophobic standing room space with a few loose tables outside. This is definitely an "order and get out" establishment. Due to this congestion, Moo Moo Mia felt a bit hectic on both of our visits which always makes one feel guilty to ask for samples in order to not hold up the line. The flavor options at Moo Moo Mia aren't super extensive (there isn't that much to choose from) BUT there do have those unique combinations Mia and Mark boast of with pride. I have sampled a few flavors at Moo Moo Mia such as Honey Lavender (Sweet cream ice cream layered with delicate ribbons of lavender and finished with a touch of raw organic honey - so good with perfect lavender notes!), March flavor of ice cream with Luck Charms marshmallows and Sweet Taro. On our second visit, my boyfriend kept it simple with a single cone ($5.50) of Madagascar Vanilla Bean (Made with imported ground Madagascar vanilla beans) and a kid's cup ($4.25) of March's monthly flavor Coconut Ube for me. Mark and Mia aren't exaggerating about Moo Moo Mia's ice cream as it truly is quite good: creamy, thick and not overly sweet; the texture is perfection. The Honey Lavender holds my heart but the Coconut Ube was also delicious although it tasted of 95% ube with a small 5% after taste of coconut water. Good thing I like Ube! My boyfriend's vanilla was, in his words, "The best vanilla!" and I agree that Moo Moo Mia truly elevates a basic flavor making it extra special. The consensus is that the ice cream is wonderful, no doubt. The customer service at Moo Moo Mia leaves a lot to be desired, however. During both visits the associates were very dry, somewhat curt - although not rude, per se - and are literally only there to get the job done and that's it. Even though this isn't too terrible; it prevents Moo Moo Mia from being a perfect experience. Moo Moo Mia is a delicious and quality option for an ice cream treat that you can truly taste but the lack of numerous flavor options, the teen-tiny shop and the customer service are flaws that keep it from being exceptional. Despite this, Moo Moo Mia is recommended for all ice cream lovers - whether you have a sibling or not!

I happened to be at the tire shop across the street getting the tires changed on my car and needed to pick up some pastries for guests that were coming over that same day. One of those guests happens to be a baker so I really needed to find some fresh delicious pastries. I checked Yelp for nearby bakeries and La Jaconde popped up with really great reviews so I drove right across the street and picked up some baked goods. I picked up this big pastry that was stuffed with cream cheese and sour cherries (TRUST ME you want this), a box of mixed cookies and bite sized goodies, and a box of stuffed dates (don't knock it until you try it). It wasn't that busy at either place, but he did have to run between the two. He let us know that he'd be right with us, so we had time to look around. The baked goods cases were about half full at 7:00 at night. The man helping us didn't really know anything about the fillings of some of the items that weren't self-explanatory. He got our selections packed up nicely, but it would have been helpful to be able to get more info about some of the cakes/pastries. SG (age 5) boldly chose a cream puff for herself.
