We have ordered from Crumbles Patisserie many times, which honestly makes this experience even more disappointing. My sister placed a dessert order for my niece's birthday/christening and specifically wrote in the order instructions that everything needed to be light/blush pink to match the theme of an event with over 100 guests. On the day of the event, her husband arrived at the scheduled pickup time and was made to wait approximately 40 minutes because the order still wasn't ready. When the desserts finally arrived, we realized that the macarons and roses decorating the desserts were bright pink, completely different from the blush pink that was specifically requested. My sister initially tried to let it go because we had an entire event to worry about, but after a few hours she decided to call and calmly explain what happened. She wasn't calling to argue, she simply wanted to see what could be done and have the mistake acknowledged. Unfortunately, the owner's response was more upsetting than the mistake itself. Instead of simply apologizing, she became defensive and said that sometimes certain flowers aren't "in season," which supposedly could explain the darker color. My sister then asked how that explained the bright pink macarons, and the conversation became incredibly rude. While my sister was speaking calmly, the owner interrupted her with, "Hold up, don't yell at me," in a very disrespectful tone when she was not yelling at her. At that point, all we were trying to explain was that a simple apology and acknowledgment that the order did not match what was requested would have been enough. Instead, the conversation continued with attitude, and when I got on the phone and told her that treating repeat customers this way had just lost her a lot of business, she hung up on me. Mistakes happen. A shade of pink being wrong would not have caused us to stop supporting a business we had ordered from repeatedly. The way the owner handled the mistake is why we will not be returning. There was no reason for a simple, reasonable complaint to be met with defensiveness and hanging up on a customer. After seeing how the owner has responded to other customers who have shared negative experiences, unfortunately our interaction makes a lot more sense. Customer service matters just as much as the product, especially when people are trusting you with orders for important events. read more

While I unfortunately didn't get a picture, the desserts here are beautiful, but know that this place values both form and function. My partner and I tried a mouse poire, and not only was very well balanced sweetness wise, the white chocolate shell was very nice to enjoy with it. I was next door at the UPS to drop off a package when I stumbled across the sign showing these refreshing looking beverages and I could not help but stop by after dropping off my package. Upon entering today staff was so friendly and sweet and helpful. I asked a few questions about the lattes because I don't like coffee and I wasn't sure if latte just means milk or if it means coffee is mixed in. I went with the Mango Cream Matcha drink and it did not disappoint and you get to choose what type of milk and I went with Almond. The layers of the drink are so pretty, but if you drink it as is then you will just drink each layer separately, so I mixed mine up and after mixing it becomes this really light pleasant green color. The mango sweetness is light and flavorful and refreshing. I really loved it. I would definitely come back to try different flavors when I'm in the area! read more

It's a chocolate and vanilla mousse with a caramelized hazelnut and walnut filling. Ruby: the texture is so fun, it has a soft, marshmallowy exterior with a zesty raspberry compote inside. Raspberry Pistachio Tart: Really fresh, nutty, and had a great snap to the shortbread crust. 24k Gold Mocha: super decadent, with strong espresso is flavors. Founded by a self-taught baker, the classic French creations at Crumbles Patisserie look as if they were made by a Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef. Each unique morsel is made fresh daily from a special recipe. Inside the case are rows of beautiful pastries that look too pretty to eat. Celebrities love Katie's artistic Cookie Cakes. These lovely works of art can be customized with fresh flowers, fresh fruit, or macarons. It's far more fancy than your traditional cookie cake. The décor is just as exquisite. Marble floors, Tiffany blue seats, and a grand chandelier all emit a sleek, chic esthetic. Making a selection was difficult. I'll admit, I was a bit intimidated by the artistic desserts. Could something that pretty actually taste good? I ordered the Caramel Mille-Feuille just to be safe. OMG! The first bite was gasmic. It was SofaKing delicious. I couldn't stop eating it. We stopped by after having a hearty birthday lunch nearby. The place is clean welcoming and has a modern field. Staff was also extremely helpful. There is an endless selection of desserts for every tastebud. Not only that, detention. The detail in the presentation is top notch. I got the strawberry tart with the flower on top. Flavor was good. The cream at the perfect amount of sweetness, however, for the price of each item, it seemed just a bit pricey for my taste. Edit: once I was able to finally drink the coffee it was gross. Tossed an $8+ cup of coffee that was practically inedible. Also the owner said that I was attended to promptly and that wasn't the case??? Some guy literally left because the worker was in the back and clearly doing dishes. Weird thing to try to lie about but I'm not coming back so I guess it doesn't matter. Well for starters I was waiting for somewhere between 5-10 minutes for the worker to notice me, she was in the back with headphones on. When she took my order I didn't think anything of her curtness until she was so nice and attentive to every person after me. And the drink? Everything looked so good here, I planned all my errands around stopping here. There were a lot of holes in the pastry line up. Maybe I should've payed more attention to that so I knew what was popular. I'm a creature of habit though so I went for the ECLAIR and what I think was a NAPOLEON? The NAPOLEON in my mind was the layered crispy dessert. It was perfect and it stayed perfect overnight in the fridge. It was still crispy the next day. I liked the cream filling too. Overall yum! The ECLAIR was filled with custard which is usually my jam but the frosting was a white chocolate which I'm not a fan of. I should've asked. I assumed the pink frosting would be strawberry or something. I'm not really picky but the white chocolate overwhelmed everything else. So if you like white chocolate it's probably awesome. After dinner, I was looking for a nearby spot to grab a late coffee (open until 11pm) and came across Crumbles Patisserie on Apple Maps. Plenty of street parking and a good location, though it's a little easy to miss--I actually drove right past it at first. As soon as we walked in, I thought, gosh, what a cute spot. Clean, bright aesthetic with tons of beautifully decorated pastries. There were so many options I was honestly taken aback! But I was really just in the mood for coffee, so we ordered a latte and an americano, hung out for a bit, and enjoyed the cozy vibes. It's a little on the pricy side, but hey, a lot of hard work goes into those beautifully crafted items. Super friendly service, too. Service was great We ordered the bird's milk cake, pistachio tiramisu and a pastry with layers of cream and a baklava type layer topped with caramel. The cake portions of all 3 desserts were dry. I got this strawberry dessert and it just tasted too artificial. The first couple bites was just strawberry cream, but as I kept taking bites some cake and jam showed and that made it a little bit better because there was some texture and different flavor to it. This place kept popping up on my IG feed, so my kids and I decided to check it out about three weeks ago. My daughter ordered something with meringue with whipped cream on top. I ordered their pistachio raspberry napoleon pastry, and a slice of their last slice tiramisu cake. Everything tasted old and overly sweet. I can tell they were old because when I touched the whipped cream, it didn't stick to my finger. I wanted to order their fruit shaped pastry, but the shells were cracked on most of them. I took one bite of the tiramisu cake, and it was so stale that I threw the rest away. The worker asked if everything was ok, and I just told her that everything we ordered wasn't good and tasted old. She said their desserts were fresh and were delivered that morning. I got the last slice of their tiramisu cake and there was no way they sold the rest that morning. I was so upset. If she would've given me a partial refund or at least an apology, I would might consider coming back, but she didn't, so now I will definitely not come back and will not recommend this place to anyone. the pastries here are beautiful, the staff is great, and i like supporting local businesses, so i've given them a few tries. unfortunately, i've walked away more and more disappointed each time. the desserts are often dry, stale, too sweet, and just generally not good. the same goes for their coffees. their drinks are far too sweet, but even a simple americano is undrinkable bc it's just not good. we have tried almost their entire menu and it ranges from "extremely mediocre" to "straight up inedible." i've purchased their large boxes for gift giving and the people i gifted to were also left unimpressed by the taste. as aesthetically pleasing as these pastries are, they go uneaten because of their poor quality. on top of all of that, everything here is extremely overpriced. i don't mind paying higher prices when the product is actually good, but in this case it's just not worth it. the last time i gave them a try, the bathroom was absolutely filthy. that was my final straw. i really do hope they turn things around though bc this place has so much potential. read more

I happened to spot Crumbles Patisserie right across the street from Whole Foods while doing some grocery shopping and decided to pop in afterwards for a little treat. I was in the mood for a flavored latte and a pastry...and lucky for me, they had both. I ordered the Pistachio Latte and asked for it "not too sweet." The staff was super accommodating and made it half-sweet for me, which turned out just right. The pistachio flavor came through nicely, and it wasn't overpowering. It also had golden flakes sprinkled on top! I also got a slice of the Bird's Milk cake, which I was excited about, but unfortunately, it didn't quite do it for me. It was a bit dense and firmer than I expected...I was hoping for something lighter and more delicate. The almost $10 price tag for one slice also gave me a little sticker shock, especially after the first bite.
