In the past, I have heard people talk about this bakery for being really fancy and proper. It was a family members birthday the other day and I had ordered a cake from here. My first experience walking in when I went in to originally order the cake was quite pleasing. I had gotten a coffee on my way out and it was good and tasted freshly brewed. The pastry cabinets were full and looked awesome, though a busy time right around lunch, the workers still seemed nice and professional. Comes the day and time for me to pick up the cake, I bring my receipt to the counter and the young man behind the counter seemed a little rushed to get me my cake. But he hands one to me, doesn't open the box to let me see, but because I had given him the receipt and he took it with him to go retrieve the cake out of the fridge, I had trusted he got the right one.... My mistake for not checking before leaving. I didn't want to be in any other customers way and I walked out with the cake :( I get home, open the box to check... and the happy birthday (name) writing is not on the side of the cake board like I had ordered. The correct flavor of cake though. I knew the cake would still taste as delicious without the writing, but slightly disappointed. (I didn't tell anyone). Later that night about an hour before the bakery closes, I get a phone call from a lovely woman named Francis (I hope I spelled it correctly), she says that I didn't pick up the cake I ordered... We had just eaten the cake and it was fantastic. So I tell her and she apologized on behalf of her colleague and offers a partial refund or a pastry on the house. I was blown away at by her customer service and how apologetic she was when this was just a little mistake of someone grabbing the wrong box without chocolate writing on it. She is a fantastic worker and is very awesome and nice when talking to. Overall the experience was cool and the atmosphere of the place is very much different than most bakery's. I am a big fan of how everyone has to use their own tongs to grab pastry's instead of everyone touching the same pair of tongs and it just sitting in the case with all the food! read more

I was so excited when I found out Paris Baguette was opening closer to home! This is a busy area and I anticipate this spot with stay busy with the foot traffic. When we have gone it was before 8am and not lines out of the door. You grab a tray and use the tongs to grab what you want. Then wait in line to be ringed up. This place is amazing!! I went with my sister and enjoyed the ice vanilla latte and maybe we had too many desserts! It's hard to choose! It's also really cute and I just loved the atmosphere and the people that work there are friendly. I can't wait to go back. I do wish the lights weren't so bright, I like the lights dimmed in coffee shops. We also got the matcha strawberry latte and it was too sweet for me. The loaf of milk bread was only $5. We came around 8am on Saturday morning- everything in the pastry cases were super fresh with more coming out every 10 min or so while we were there enjoying our coffee and breakfast goodies! I went here for the first time on a Saturday morning. This location just opened up in Peoria, so I was excited to try it out. It was quite busy when we got there. You head in and immediately to the right to pick up tongs and a tray. Then you peruse all their delicious options. Sweet. Savoury. They got it all. I tried to balance a few savoury (crab meat croquette and grilled cheese which they toasted for me) with some sweet (croissant donut with nutella and raspberry fruit bite) paired with a strawberry mint lemonade. I was too excited and didn't take any pictures, but it was all delicious and I know I will be back. They were constantly bringing out fresh options. All in all it probably took me about 15 minutes to peruse and wait in line, then another 10 for my drink, which wasn't that bad considering how busy they are. We went on a Saturday evening at 4:30 pm it was very busy and they were out of a few things. But the staff was very nice and what the did have was very good nice looking. I think once the newness dies down a bit it will be a little better. Everyone is walking in every direction so makes it a little hard to navigate. I got a cinnamon twist donut. A strawberry and cream filled croissant. and a Belgium waffle with chocolate and strawberries on top. Because they were out of what my son was wanting he got a cookie. It's very clean inside, huge parking lot, music isn't too loud. It's very busy inside, and with good reason. Service was super friendly, I asked a question about one of the coffees, and the cashier didn't know, so she found someone who did know. Very nice. (I was just asking what was in the Korean iced coffee). They said it was strong and sweet (just like me-jk) but it had milk and half and half and sweetener. I think it's strong if you're only a casual coffee drinker. It had a balanced, not overly sweet flavor, the coffee itself wasn't bitter and imo had notes of chocolate. Definitely would drink this again. 9/10 They were also sampling their carrot cake. Yum. It wasn't too sweet, was moist. The frosting didn't taste like a heavy cream cheese frosting, more of a vanilla buttercream but still very good. 7/10 I got the soft cream bread, Irish cream cruffin, Nutella cruffin and pineapple tart. Pineapple tart, canned pineapple tops this pastry base. There's some vanilla cream, it has raw sugar around the edges for extra crunch. I love love love pineapple so idc that it's canned. The pastry base was baked well, crisp but also tender. 9/10 Irish cream cruffin 8.5/10 It wasn't too sweet, had a great crunch, you could see all of the pastry layers. There was a generous amount of Irish cream filling with a dark chocolate coating on top. Yummm. If you like Irish cream, don't skip this. Nutella cruffin 7/10 The pastry wasn't too sweet but this one was a little drier on the inside than the Irish cream, and it had less filling. Great flavor though. Cream bread 8/10 Fluffy loaf, subtly sweet. Seems like the perfect bread to turn into French toast. For the women's restroom, there's no baby changing table. I didn't need one, just FYI. My sister and I were excited to learn that they opened up this location in Peoria. But were very disappointed that on the day after they opened and three hours before they close, their shelves were bare! To me, this is a grand opening fail. They should have been over stocked, not empty!! We did not purchase anything, but instead sat outside and talked. We saw dozens of customers walk through their doors only to turn around and walk out due to lack of inventory. So disappointing!! The ambiance of the restaurant was well done and the staff were friendly. Can't review the food... the cakes looked good, but not what we wanted. This is a much welcome addition to the area. If you are familiar with 85c; Paris Baguette would be the glamourous sister of it. It is a beautiful large space with ample tables to dine in and hang out if you wanted to. I especially love the large menu of food items and drinks. If you are a coffee lover, this is a great place to visit as the drink menu is very coffee forward. I have so far visited 3 times in the past 3 weeks, so once a week as of the time of this review. I wanted to make sure I had enough opportunity to experience this location. And to get awesome treats of course. Service has been consistently friendly and the wait in line was little to none. My visits so far have been in the mornings between 7:30 and 8:30 so the wait times to check out may be different later in the day. I am unable to give out a perfect 5 stars because not all menu items were available during my visits. It's disappointing to be excited for a particular item only to find that it is not available when you visit. Being the glamourous sister to 85c, the prices reflect that as well. I will be scaling way back on the visits as I've spent too much than I care to admit lol. On the plus side, Paris Baguette has its own app and rewards program so it is an absolute must-have if you are going to be a regular visitor to make your money spent count for something. This location now has mobile ordering turned on in the app. I have not used it and I don't think I will as it's apparent the full menu of food items isn't always available at any given time. I still highly recommend visiting and have your day brightened with delicious treats and drinks. read more

Wow, this place is SO ANNOYING! They say they open at 0600 per the website. I showed up at 0610 so I could have a pick of any of their pastries. Big mistake. They only had 3 types of pastries for me to choose from. I thought that maybe I had gotten the time wrong. Nope, they said that they only put a few out so they would be fresh? Did not make any sense, I could see multiple racks of pastries ready to go, they just chose to not put them out. I could have accepted something like they were behind or had a few call outs, but this was not the case. They went on to say that if I wanted to choose from all of the pastries I would need to come back at 0800. They should just say they open at 0800. I would have slept in if I would have known this. Disappointing experience My daughter ordered a medium blueberry matcha latte, but someone else took her drink. When my husband went to ask about it, they gave him the other person's drink, which was a small matcha latte without blueberry. I believe they should have thrown that drink away and made a new one exactly as ordered. Giving us another customer's drink was not professional or sanitary. Back in 2024 we went to San Francisco, CA with my aunt Gloria, and Sister Theresa with Mom and Dad for a cruise. We were doing some laundry when we noticed a bakery called @parisbaguette_usa. This was the first time we had heard of them/tried and loved their stuff. We were mourning leaving San Fran knowing we probably wouldn't get to go back for a long time. Now enter recent day where we have a store not too far from Dad's house! Of course we had to go! We started with the Fruit tarts first, dad and I loved them so much we noticed the sweetness and sourness that was almost like a sourdough. Also it was the best fruit tarts we have had anywhere we can think of. Then onto the King Cream donut the King Cream was the same as used in the tarts. Light and not overly sweet. Donut was good, reminded us of Bosa or Dunkin. The ham and cheese croissant was the savory we needed, the crunchy cheese with a bit of salt we believe was gruyere and the ham worked so well with it all. We have the rest for later but for sure we got the pain au chocolat Dad's favorite and I got a Butter Bun which I loved from our first time there. Believe us we will be back since they have some seasonal sandwiches and drinks with Korean BBQ that we want to try! read more

I loved going to their Scottsdale location, but it was too far away, this one is much closer and has all the same amazing pastries. The store is a little snug, but that is to be expected as it has been busy every time I have gone. The place is very bright and welcoming. We have been watching and waiting for their Peoria opening and made the drive over finally this am. My daughter and I both got the croissant egg sandwiches and were pretty disappointed as we had one in Roseville CA and loved theirs. Ours here was flat, microwaved warmed up from a pre made sandwich and a big disappointment. Won't do that again! The Irish Cream Coffee was delicious as was the Cappuccino CroissantDonut. My husband and I both loved that pastry. We had a mini strawberry lemon pastry that was also A-Plus! We got there just in time as people were flowing in quickly but there was plenty of open seats. Tried for the first time yesterday. It was shortly after the store opened. I immediately gravitated to the croissants. My favorite at first bite was the croissant donut. Also had the almond croissant very light and flakey. I grabbed a sandwich for lunch, mozzarella with sliced tomatoes on a baguette. Absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that the staff wasn't as friendly as I expected. I will definitely be returning to try more pastries. read more
