This place is amazing!! I went with my sister and enjoyed the ice vanilla latte and maybe we had too many desserts! It's hard to choose! It's also really cute and I just loved the atmosphere and the people that work there are friendly. I can't wait to go back. I do wish the lights weren't so bright, I like the lights dimmed in coffee shops. We also got the matcha strawberry latte and it was too sweet for me. The loaf of milk bread was only $5. Not too expensive either. This will be our new coffee spot.

Hard for this place to not do well. Always a nice coffee and dessert date for the wife and I. Today was no different as you walk in and are greeted with an almost overwhelming amount of delicious options. From savory to sweet all made fresh. The only thing I wish they had was coffee cups to enjoy in house and not waste a cup. Besides that always thankful for the time when this lands on our taste but roulette wheel

We visited this Paris Baguette location fairly soon after they opened up shop here in Peoria. We were excited to see it coming to the area as our previous experiences as Paris Baguette's other locations were very positive. This location seems much smaller than their Scottsdale spot. When we were walking the path of the pastry cases, it was congested and it felt like everyone was in each other's way. Though we enjoyed our selected pastries and they tasted fresh, they weren't particularly memorable or special. We wouldn't rush back to have something again.

as soon as you walk in you're greeted with a variety of pastries from sweet to salty and savory, they have a good selection of sandwiches to choose from if you're not into sweets also and they have canned beverages for the non coffee lovers, all the pasties we got were delicious, i'd definitely recommend asking them to heat up any croissant pastries, we got the blue berry lemonade, matcha and macchiato, they all blended so well with blueberry i was astonished, the customer service was lovely, there's so much seating area inside and outside

100% would recommend this place for coffee- pastries- breakfast! We came around 8am on Saturday morning- everything in the pastry cases were super fresh with more coming out every 10 min or so while we were there enjoying our coffee and breakfast goodies! We tried the Korean iced coffee and the vanilla sweet cream cold brew- both are super good!!! For our breakfast we tried a 3 cheese quiche, a strawberry mochi donut and a cheese danish!! Loved all of them!!!

Brunched 4.12.26: Came in for brunch and it was busy. You can grab a box and self pack your chosen pastries & sandwiches/wraps. Some coffee options which my cousin and Tia enjoyed. All 3 of us ate a Sourdough Supreme Breakfast Sandwich which we all enjoyed. Some thought there was a little too much bread w/ no egg or bacon so they ripped those edges off. They liked the coffee and service was clean given all the clientele. Didn't care for the pre-packed coffee cake it was rich and tasted a little too processed for me. Would return to try another pastry if the same sammy.

I went here for the first time on a Saturday morning. This location just opened up in Peoria, so I was excited to try it out. It was quite busy when we got there. You head in and immediately to the right to pick up tongs and a tray. Then you peruse all their delicious options. Sweet. Savoury. They got it all. I tried to balance a few savoury (crab meat croquette and grilled cheese which they toasted for me) with some sweet (croissant donut with nutella and raspberry fruit bite) paired with a strawberry mint lemonade. I was too excited and didn't take any pictures, but it was all delicious and I know I will be back. They were constantly bringing out fresh options. All in all it probably took me about 15 minutes to peruse and wait in line, then another 10 for my drink, which wasn't that bad considering how busy they are. This location is dangerously close to me and I will be back.

Wow this was a great place to have coffee and pastries. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered an iced americano and a hot latte- they both were great. We had an assortment of pastries that the kiddos love as well! The dining area was clean. Highly recommend

We went on a Saturday evening at 4:30 pm it was very busy and they were out of a few things. But the staff was very nice and what the did have was very good nice looking. I think once the newness dies down a bit it will be a little better. Everyone is walking in every direction so makes it a little hard to navigate. I got a cinnamon twist donut. A strawberry and cream filled croissant. and a Belgium waffle with chocolate and strawberries on top. Because they were out of what my son was wanting he got a cookie. We have visited the one inside Hmart often and they usually have lots of stock. The things I did get were very good!!

It's very clean inside, huge parking lot, music isn't too loud. It's very busy inside, and with good reason. Service was super friendly, I asked a question about one of the coffees, and the cashier didn't know, so she found someone who did know. Very nice. (I was just asking what was in the Korean iced coffee). They said it was strong and sweet (just like me-jk) but it had milk and half and half and sweetener. I think it's strong if you're only a casual coffee drinker. It had a balanced, not overly sweet flavor, the coffee itself wasn't bitter and imo had notes of chocolate. Definitely would drink this again. 9/10 They were also sampling their carrot cake. Yum. It wasn't too sweet, was moist. The frosting didn't taste like a heavy cream cheese frosting, more of a vanilla buttercream but still very good. 7/10 I got the soft cream bread, Irish cream cruffin, Nutella cruffin and pineapple tart. Pineapple tart, canned pineapple tops this pastry base. There's some vanilla cream, it has raw sugar around the edges for extra crunch. I love love love pineapple so idc that it's canned. The pastry base was baked well, crisp but also tender. 9/10 Irish cream cruffin 8.5/10 It wasn't too sweet, had a great crunch, you could see all of the pastry layers. There was a generous amount of Irish cream filling with a dark chocolate coating on top. Yummm. If you like Irish cream, don't skip this. Nutella cruffin 7/10 The pastry wasn't too sweet but this one was a little drier on the inside than the Irish cream, and it had less filling. Great flavor though. Cream bread 8/10 Fluffy loaf, subtly sweet. Seems like the perfect bread to turn into French toast. For the women's restroom, there's no baby changing table. I didn't need one, just FYI. Also, a purse hook near the door would be good. It's just a single restroom for women and separate one for men (which I presume is also a single restroom, but obvi I didn't check)

My sister and I were excited to learn that they opened up this location in Peoria. But were very disappointed that on the day after they opened and three hours before they close, their shelves were bare! To me, this is a grand opening fail. They should have been over stocked, not empty!! We did not purchase anything, but instead sat outside and talked. We saw dozens of customers walk through their doors only to turn around and walk out due to lack of inventory. So disappointing!! The ambiance of the restaurant was well done and the staff were friendly. Can't review the food... the cakes looked good, but not what we wanted. Will update my review if I ever go back to this location.

Love this place....finally we have one here at the west valley. The cake wasn't so sweet and very light. The other pastries look delicious. The café is cozy. By the way they also serve coffee. The. staff is helpful and friendly.

I finally got the one that is daily up for grans, and I was so excited! My sister and I can't figure out why there's only one bag per day, but it's very coveted so we were excited to see what was actually inside! We walked in to the bakery with the intention of ordering more treats, in addition to what was in the too good to go surprise. When we walked in, it was 10:05, and they closed at 10:30. They had already put away half of their gelato and baked goods in the cabinet. I understand closing time is at 10:30, but if you still have almost half an hour left, I'm sure there are customers that are gonna come in and buy things. There were three parties of people that walked in while we were in there and then sitting out on the really nice patio. There is a little bit of seating inside, but the patio was very nice and there was plenty of seating out there too. The vibe is super cute, and I love the decor. Hopefully next time we go back, we can actually try things because they won't be put away!

It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!

A West Valley Gem Packed with Flavor, Charm, and Plenty to Discover…read more If you've ever driven past that bright pink building on the corner of 101st and Grand Avenue in Sun City and wondered, "What's in there?" let me save you the suspense: it's the New York West Bakery, and it's absolutely worth pulling over for. In fact, I've made the hour-plus drive each way more than a dozen times just to visit. Whenever I find myself anywhere in the West Valley, this place is a mandatory stop. I've taken countless photos of my visits because there is always something new to see, taste, or admire. Under its new ownership, New York West Bakery has evolved into a wonderfully unique fusion-style café. The menu is delightfully unexpected, featuring everything from traditional breakfast favorites and homemade tamales to incredible Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches. If I can dig up some of my photos, I'll add them because these sandwiches deserve their own spotlight. The transformation isn't limited to the menu. The Interior: Spotlessly clean. During one recent visit, I watched an energetic staff member carefully mopping the floors and making sure everything looked perfect. It's obvious they take pride in the place. The Exterior: They've added a charming outdoor patio complete with colorful umbrellas, comfortable seating, and newly planted trees that will provide even more shade as they grow. It's a fantastic addition and makes for a relaxing place to enjoy a pastry and coffee. The Food: Where This Place Really Shines When New York West Bakery gets it right, they absolutely knock it out of the park. Their fruit tarts are hands-down some of the best I've had in years. They're fresh, beautiful, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly affordable for the quality you're getting. Best of all, everything is made from scratch, which shows in every bite. The newer savory menu items are also a huge win. Their Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches deliver serious value. They're enormous. Honestly, one sandwich is big enough to share and still leave you feeling satisfied... or at least leave just enough room for dessert. And speaking of dessert, I have to mention those fruit tarts one more time. They're that good. My wife Lucy absolutely loves them. In fact, "love" might be an understatement. If fruit tarts had a fan club, she'd probably be the president. New York West Bakery continues to grow and evolve, and it's exciting to watch. Between the friendly atmosphere, expanding menu, beautiful patio, and from scratch-made baked goods, it's become one of my favorite hidden gems in the Valley.

Update: June 2026 The new owners have expanded into more of…read morea café than a bakery, and a fusion one at that since you can get Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches, tamales, and traditional breakfasts. I love that they added outdoor seating with cheery umbrellas and have planted trees to provide additional ambiance and shade, although the highway noise will always be problematic. The inside is spotless and while I was there a friendly staffer was keeping it that way by energetically mopping. Sadly, the St. Joseph's pastry I had had a tough not flaky or crisp shell, but the ricotta filling was light and good. I was so looking forward to the poppy seed bread but when I got it home and cut into it, the filling was not spread out throughout the bread and there wasn't much of it. The bread itself was not tear apart tender, but dry. I saved it by slathering butter on it and lightly toasting it, but that shouldn't have been necessary. For the prices, everything should have been top notch or marked down and labeled as day-olds. I'm curious about the breakfast and lunch café options, so I'll probably go back to give them a try, but note that the prices have increased by more than a few cents per item since the 2025 someone else posted, so check for the latest. Maybe they are trying to do too much and should limit the variety and be known for a few super delicious items that are always fresh and superior to what you could get in a supermarket. Having a few signature items and being the go-to place during special holidays would help define them, and please, please FRESHNESS is crucial--maybe the products are just drying out more because we're in AZ, but I'm not the only one mentioning dried out items.

When she came back with my order they were still hot, like they were fresh out of the steamer or a hot box. When I got home and warmed them up a little I was amazed by the flavor, but I did notice that it appeared to be heavy with lard, which did allow for them to be moist. I would definitely be back when in the area and also try their tortillas that are reportedly really good as well.

We were expecting a pastry shop but when we walked in we realized it is a sourdough store! They hand make everything fresh in house! We decided to try a cinnamon roll and ham and cheese croissant which were both delicious. After discovering all the different breads they had we decided to take one home with us- jalapeño cheddar and boy was it fabulous! We used it for a grilled cheese one night and turkey sandwich another! The prices here are fair. There is seating if you want to eat there. They also serve coffee/drinks and sourdough pizza but we didn't try any of that. It just gives us an excuse to come back! Customer service was good and fast as well!!

It's tucked away off Indian School Road, but worth the effort to find it. We had a couple of ham & cheese croissants, a couple of chocolate chip cookies and specialty coffee, plus tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. Interesting in that they were out of ice though. In any case we enjoyed our visit and food. They have many specialty breads from olive loves, multi-grain, French and more. Noticed there was mostly takeout, but there are 3 small tables each with 2 chairs, however no outside seating.
