Ordered a chicken bahn mi , no pork, shredded chicken croissant, no pork, Korean hot Cheetos corn dog with all hotdog, Matcha sea salt coffee (cold) and a jasmine green tea (hot). $35.46. Charge more to use CC. They have no almond milk or oat milk here, only have half and half. The chicken bahn mi is so-so, baguette is quite hard, the chicken is dry. A tad bland, it was better with some sriracha. Didn't notice any jalapeños, isn't that a standard ingredient for Bahn Mi? The shredded chicken croissant was smaller than I expected, croissant was quite soft and fell apart. The shredded chicken was dry, as it looked. It was okay, once again better with some sriracha. Sandwiches are better with more flavor. The hot Cheetos was interesting, the corn dog sheath was quite thin and didn't fully encase the dog. It was okay and a bit lack luster. The Matcha sea salt was fine, jasmine too, nothing special. Their hot tea to go come n in Kung Fu Tea logo containers.

I think this is the only Vietnamese place around here that give me generous amount of condiments and toppings in my Banh Mi sandwich and vermicelli bowl. Pork slices need more marinade. Other than that everything I had was good and fresh

    Lots of seating!

I was excited to try this Vietnamese food chain. The sandwich number one did not disappoint. The toppings were delicious and I liked the bread. There are many pastries and other items for sale there I would definitely go back to try their Korean corn dogs to compare them to others in the area. Service was kind that atmosphere was clean and very spacious.

    B2, grilled pork!

Stopped in to try something different for lunch. I ordered B2, a grilled pork sandwich on toasted baguette. It hadn't explosion of tasty fresh veggies and spice! (Not too hot for me, but getting near my wimpy threshold. Just right.) Serving size is great! Service was welcoming, friendly, and quick. Best deal this week! I might pick up one of their fancy desserts, but I might be too full.

Portion sizes are AMAZING for the price. The food was made to order and was very fresh. The grilled pork banh mi was marinated well, there was a lot of meat, and I liked how they provided the option to put the veggies on the side for the banh mi. The bang bang shrimp was very fresh and the sauce was flavorful. I left feeling full and was happy I came. My only complaint would have to be that they charge for cups of water, I understand why they do though.

Must get item: the Banh Mi (Dac Biet) The portions to price is reasonable for a banh mi. The place is very cute, spacious, and warm. The menu is pretty extensive, so I definitely recommend ordering a few different items. All of the items, including the banh mi still reheats well and made for a nice lunch the next day

My Vietnamese friend took a leap of faith and decided to bring me a grilled pork banh mi and a kumquat green tea. He wasn't sure if I would like it but I enjoyed both very much. The banh mi was large and cut in half so I was able to save half for later. The grilled pork was excellent. Juicy and seasoned just right. With the jalapeño peppers, mayonnaise, cucumber, pickled daikon & carrot, and cilantro nothing was too overpowering and the flavors complimented each other. The bread was soft and fresh. It didn't have that normal crunch on the outer layer that I'm used to with banh mi but it was also a carryout order so it wasn't eaten right then at the restaurant. I was impressed with Paris and I'd like to check out the Korean corn dogs on a future visit along with another delicious sandwich.

This is a great place to eat some shareables with friends! The bahnmi is large enough to split which is nice as most places that I've had bahn mi's are quite small. I love to order the b2 Bahn mi and the hot Cheeto mozzarella stick/corn dog. They have a variety of bubble tea options and even some yummy desserts. The inside has a variety of seating and some board games you are able to play for free with friends. The service is very nice and quite fast. I will say the bathrooms aren't the nicest and the interior design isn't the prettiest but for the cost and quality of the food I can't complain.

They have a decent selection of banh mi's and drinks on their menu. I liked the crispy rice wih pork floss even though it's pricey. The Paris by Night milk tea was good. I'll definitely come back.

Spacious, clean, and calming space for banh mi, burgers, croissant sandwiches, Vietnamese dishes, Korean corn dogs, boba, and desserts. There are board games available to play as you wait or dine in including a giant connect four and a sofa for lounging. I ordered the special banh mi (#1), but didn't try it until the next day. I toasted it up and their bread is amazing. It's light, airy, soft and crispy but the meat flavors were slightly strong on five spice. Their pickled carrots & daikon were mild, barely pickled. I wish they packed more jalapeños and cilantro on the side. I also tried the sandwich cold and the flavors came through better except I like the bread to be crisp. Overall, the sandwich quality is good and I'd order it again.

The food was amazing! The B2 was my favorite and their green teas with fruit were The ramen corn dog 50/50 was great! My favorite was the cheese. The restaurant isn't the cleanest, especially on the "fancier" looking side. The cloth benches were very dirty. The staff is good but definitely about doing their job and not socializing.

Paris Banh Mi & Bakery New. Clean. Good service. Large place. Vietnamese sandwich. Bubble tea drinks. There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants around this area. Lots of competition. I had the grilled pork and my wife had the pork rolls. Both were excellent. The item that sets this place apart is the sauce. No one has any sauce. This place is the first place that has the "Hot mayonnaise" sauce which I'm accustomed to and highly recommend. I normally buy any sandwich and put my own "hot mayonnaise" on at home. This place is doing it right. I can actually buy the sandwich and eat it without going home. FYI, my wife makes these at home, so I know how it should taste. Not bad. No issues. Meat was good. Not fake meat. I hate fake meat. Sorry for making a mess. I will keep an eye on this place. Highly recommend

    Bahn Mi #2 ‼

So many choices for sandwiches, bowls, appetizer, snacks, amazing dessert presentations and beverages galore. Order can be placed in person or at the kiosk. There is a clearly stated up charge on the menu board when paying by credit vs. cash. There are roomy ample seating choices whether dining alone, with a friend or small group. As mentioned in previous posts, the booth seating against the wall (closest to the restroom) NEEDS some SERIOUS cleaning . The stains need to be taken care of as it honestly looks so unsanitary. My friend and I both ordered Banh Mi #2 and had the orange sauce on the side. We agreed on how delicious and filling the ENTIRE sandwich was. She also ordered a Pina Colada smoothie and loved it. I could not lock down on a drink choice . That's ok. I will DEFINITELY be returning to try more menu items and of course a drink WITH dessert!

And the primary reason was their ah-mazing banh mi sandwiches. IMHO, the best in the entire city!!! The majority of the square footage at New Saigon Market is dedicated to the grocery portion of the business. There are aisles of Asian goods such as sauces, instant noodles, a refrigerated section of produce, and a freezer case of all types of dumplings, meats, etc. There was also a fun display of figurines near the window, including a Pikachu, which I purchased for my niece. Using both the Yelp app and recommendations from locals, they told me this place serves up legit and surprisingly, bargain priced Viet sammiches. When you walk in, the kitchen portion is near the registers. After perusing the menu, I ordered a number one combo and a chicken, since the roasted pork was sold out (boo!). And I was SHOCKED that in 2024, you can still find a banh mi for $5. In the DC area, you can't find one priced for less than $8.00!!! Tip: you can order your banh mi's either toasted or untoasted. Get the toasted. After approximately 5 minutes a friendly worker came out and presented the number one banh mi, in a foil wrapper. My chicken was not toasted so it was in a plastic bag. I couldn't wait, so I unwrapped the number one combo and literally DEVOURED it in the parking lot. The bread (which they make on premises) was toasty outside, yet had a flaky and soft interior. And while these aren't the biggest sandwiches, there was plenty of meat filling and pickled veggies, with just the right amount of pate smeared. Again, did I mention (as of this review) that it was only $5? They have a special menu on the weekends, so I also stopped by get some Bánh Bò Nướng (Vietnamese honeycomb green cake), Goi Cuong (summer rolls) and the Xôi Mặn (sticky rice with Viet ham and sausage). Everything was delicious and I walked out for about $20; which again, this would have been at least $10-$15 more in the DC area. If I lived here, I'd be at New Saigon Market several times a week. It's a true hidden local gem. Five well deserved stars!

Before I even got to the food, the restaurant itself made a great first impression. The property is incredibly well maintained inside and out. There's a spacious outdoor patio for Michigan summer days, along with plenty of indoor seating ranging from communal tables for larger groups to individual booths if you're flying solo. It's a thoughtfully designed space that feels welcoming no matter why you're there. Now, let's talk about the food. I'll admit something that surprised me. I've been to Detroit probably 50 times, and I honestly can't remember ever hearing about a Detroit-style cheesesteak. Judging by the walls covered in awards and accolades, though, it's clearly something they're known for. The sandwich certainly sounds like a winner on paper: ribeye and sirloin, provolone and Swiss cheeses, roasted mushrooms and peppers, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, sweet pickled jalapeños, aioli, house-made vinaigrette, all served on a freshly baked sesame roll. I mean... what's not to love? Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a turn. The ingredients themselves are good. The flavors are there. The problem is the execution. The ratios are simply off. The freshly baked roll completely dominates the sandwich, overwhelming everything inside it. The steak gets lost between all that bread, and instead of each bite showcasing the beef, cheese, and vegetables working together, the bread becomes the star--and that's not what you want from a cheesesteak. I do want to give credit where it's due. The portions are generous, and I especially appreciated that they take the time to make their own dipping sauces for the fries. Little details like that don't go unnoticed. There are plenty of positives here, and it's easy to see why Detroit 75 Kitchen has earned such a loyal following. But as someone who takes sandwiches seriously, I think this one is technically flawed. A great sandwich is all about balance, and for me, this one never found it. I genuinely wanted to love it. This sandwich lover just couldn't get behind the way it was built.

Service is quite quick where once seated you get your food within a few minutes making this an excellent spot if you are on the run and looking for a good meal on the quick. Prices are cheap in my opinion where my three taco's and a coke came to just $12. NICE! Two things to note here is that the chips and salsa are not gratis but come at an extra cost and follow up once you get food was non existent in my case. Chips and salsa was not a big deal to me but lack of follow up prevented this business from getting a fifth star. The chips were also delicious having gone for the salt, pepper, and onion variety. A solid crunch and bursting with flavor. Among the positives I have two negatives, both of which are not adequate enough to lower their star ranking. Firstly, it took around 20-25 minutes to get our food after ordering. I rarely hold timing against a restaurant as having worked in food, I know lunch rush exists and things happen. To mitigate this (for those in the area) I believe they have an online ordering system, which I would recommend utilizing! Secondly, they do not have indoor seating, so it is a very grab and go type establishment. This is counteracted by the multitude of benches around Royal Oak, though it would be nice to have some amount of seating, especially for those with accessibility needs and those waiting on their food.
