Went in the pub with my sister on the 7/23 Saturday afternoon. There were two people behind the bar a young man wiping tables , but missed our table which my arm stuck to because it was so dirty. The place was very very slow no one out side and just a few at the bar than two other gentlemen at a table beside ourselves...So we of course left after being ignored completely not even a ( will be with you soon). We have been there many times and never had a problem, hoping this is a one time thing and not going to be the norm. read more

I just have to let the people in this city that you have to visit this establishment just for the fantastic service by the bartenders. These women not only take care of you but remember what you drink. You come in the door you're greeted with a big smile and a hi how are you doing? Then your drink is before you because you're treated so special. The staff remembers what your drink is and you have it in front of you. The staff is always friendly and courteous. This is great quality food for a pretty decent price. Got the party melt & the quality of the burger was phenomenal. I love that they source locally too. The burgers don't come with fries but the 2.50 is well worth the price. Park Ave Pub offers fries or tots and either one is really great. The sauces they implement on the burgers is also pretty good, especially the cherry bourbon. Good drinks & reasonably priced for the quality. read more

While visiting Chico, my friend and I decided to stop at Park Ave Pub for dinner because of all of the great Yelp reviews. Yet again, Yelp was not wrong. Park Ave Pub is a great place to grab dinner and a beer, but come hungry! Portions are pretty sizable. We of course had to try the Pub burger. It was delicious; the meat was tasty and the bun was some fancy kind of bread. We could hardly finish! The fries and the tater tots were also very good. A pint of Sierra Nevada was only $3.75 when we went (a Saturday night around 5pm). They even had a few Sierra Nevada taps you can't get at the brewery right now. I had Celebration Ale, which was super fresh. Only complaint is that the server cleared my beer from the table before I had finished it, which was a disappointment considering how good it was. read more

OH...MY...GAWD, this is the BEST burger place in Chico. Let me rephrase that, this is the BEST burger place in the world! I had the BBQ burger and it was fantastic! It was served on delicious, fresh, soft buns. The burger meat itself was so soft, juicy, tasty and just so freaking good! I know almost every Pub or Bar has hamburgers but I will tell you right now Park Ave Pub and Kenny are on to something with their Rodeo Burger. Their house bbq sauce was excellent and their onion rings were crispy and their meat was juicy and cooked perfect. I was more than satisfied with the food. But more importantly than the food was their customer service or home-y feeling. They instantly make you feel at home and are very welcoming. They treat you like family , I couldn't have had a better experience here with Kenny and his staff. The bartenders were amazing young women w excellent customer service , they truly appreciate you as a customer. Super friendly and accommodating during all our past visits. Our last trip was a birthday party. The employees moved tables and made sure we were all happy and taken care of. The staff seems to have a great attitude while working quickly and efficiently. They provided cake plates, silverware, and offered to cut the cake. They hung out occasionally and were very nice. My favorite bar in Chico, which is saying a lot because there are TONS of bars in Chico. Amanda is my favorite tender, she always remembers us, knows how I like my BLTA. They have the best patty melt in Butte County and their prices are super fair. They might be busy on weekends or after work, but the back patio is huge and this is California so it's always a good time to hang out there. I've spent my last two St. Patty's Days here and never once got puked or stepped on by some drunken child, unlike downtown bars I've been to. They really are the friendliest little bar in Chico, but they take no shit which really upholds the relaxed and easygoing atmosphere. read more

Stopped in for a burger and beer. Very busy, to be expected since it is Christmas Eve Eve.... Too much bun, the patty, had a nice flavor covered only half of the bun. Fries could have been cooked a minute or 2 longer. The bartender asked the couple to the left of us if they needed anything and then asked the couple to the right of us if they were good....there we sat with 2 empty glasses.
