I ordered a rice bowl and asked the waitress if I could get it served with chicken Shawarma meat. She said yes. When it came, it was topped with grilled chicken breast. Not chicken, Shawarma, dark meat and the sauce. When I asked to have it corrected, they would not do so telling me that "that is how the chicken comes with the rice bowl". I asked them to take back the rice bowl and just serve me a chicken Shawarma wrap instead ... And they refused saying they will charge me for both. What? Who argues with a customer? All they had to do was send an additional side of Chicken Shawarma meat for the rice bowl or replace the rice bowl with the shawarma wrap and everything would've been fine. But the owner had to come out of the kitchen and argue in front of everybody. I sat there and watched my four friends eat their lunch (shawarma wraps!) after they took back the rice bowl and brought nothing to replace it with. Terrible service and owner/cook. read more

Always tasty and fresh. Chicken is flavorful, almost broasted tasting. The gyro sauce is perfect. The fries are good. Salad and grilled veggies are vibrant like they've been bought THAT DAY. The chicken lemon soup is delicious and great comfort food. Pro tip: get the ferges - roasted red pepper, feta and tomatoes sauce that you can eat on pita all night long. read more

My first visit to Park Grill was okay, not the best. The customer service was meh for me. Maybe they aren't use to dine in options? I'm not sure. Coming from Rochester Hills the last 20 years, I'm kind of use to being the only melanated person, if you're uncomfortable with something like that, I would suggest to order carry out. I sat at the bar and ordered a sidecar made with Remy. It was disgusting. Pure sour, I couldn't taste anything but sour. I ordered a park grill burger, it was decent. Didn't have much flavor so I would suggest heavy seasoning (the menu mentions light seasoning). The fries were good. The bartender wasn't that attentive to me. More so other patrons (which is why I mentioned what I mentioned earlier) I had to ask for water. This is always a red flag for me, when water isn't immediately given or offered when you sit down. Maybe their norm isn't to give you water, idk. The vibe was decent. Not too loud or too quiet. There are 2 tvs I did inform the bartender of the drink taste, she attempted to remake it maybe 3 times. All weren't the best but I gave up and drank one. I would probably try something else on the carryout side....maybe. The other review about the fish eggs in the chicken definitely scared me and I didn't see it until AFTER I sat down. Lol I would say give it a try though. read more

The inside is too dark inside during the day so me and my friend opted to eat outside and that is definitely the better option before the evening lol. I got a chicken shawarma and I thought it was very good and the garlic was tasty as well. Honestly the mac & cheese stole the show for me and my friend was regretting not getting it after seeing how good it looked. Frequently dine here the staff has mostly been on top of their game. At times I question back of house management but they get the food out and my glass is rarely empty. Sitting outside is nice and high tops near bar are good for viewing some sports. Beef dishes and salads are great. Macaroni is ok for kids it's an out of the box Kraft they need to work on that. read more

I really wanted gyros but they use packaged meat not off a spit. So that's a hard NO. My wife and I both ordered a lamb burger. It was utterly terrible. Poor quality meat that was poorly ground. The point of a burger is that it is properly ground so even a lesser cut of meat is chewable. Not the case here. I pulled several large pieces from my mouth that I simply couldn't chew through. Our waitress was attentive but didn't know the craft. Had to ask for things that should have been provided naturally. There are a few other restaurants nearby that you should try. read more

I really enjoyed dinner here. They were out of meat pies :( I guess they don't always make them, so will try another time. This visit I had the kofta entree, which came with roasted veggies, rice, pita and this amazing whipped garlic spread stuff. The kofta was fabulous, cooked just right, prob a medium-ish/med-well. I asked for extra veggies instead of the rice, they were super easy about substitutions which was nice. Veggies were good, it was a mix, lightly seasoned. The garlic spread that came with the pita was outstanding, extremely garlic-y though so you must love (not like) garlic to eat it. Also tried the beef and chicken shawarma combo, that was really good as well. Overall great meal. Large portions, so be prepared to either share or take leftovers. Would totally go back. read more

Horrible experience tonight. Took 20 minutes for drinks to arrive an 40 minutes for our food. People who arrived after us finished before the food came. The soup was Luke warm at best. My Gyro wrap arrived minus tzatziki sauce. I asked for some and during the next 10 minutes I waited I felt the inside of the and it was COLD! I complained and asked for it to be taken off of the bill (it wasn't). The waitress returned and asked if I wanted a wrap to-go. I said yes. I got home and there was no sauce on the side or on the sandwich. Lesson learned, just order carryout. Poor service and poor customer support. read more

Tried Park Grill yesterday for a birthday celebration. For starters we had the garlic sauce and hummus which were both very good. Most of us ordered the steak shawarma which while ordering no one asked what temperature. Surprisingly when it was delivered it was med-rare to medium which we liked but I could see that being issue for customers who prefer a different temperature. I do wish they wouldn't cut their pita in 4ths because it's hard to take the pieces of steak and garlic sauce in that small of a pita. Also the rice pilaf didn't have almonds or parsley it had white beans and carrots but still not bad just different. We actually tried to call for a carryout but no one was answering the phone so we dined in. The restaurant decor was modern. You did get a lot of steak and you also get a choice of soup or salad. The salad was pretty good and the others who got the chicken lemon rice we're happy with it. Would probably go again if I was in the area. read more

White-washed Mediterranean. Not sure why they don't just serve bar food? The chicken wings were decent... for bar food. Very expensive for the quality/ amount of food received. Had the tabbouli and it was just parsley, onion and tomato. No lemon, bulgur, mint, or even salt. The parsley was fresh though! Didn't come with garlic sauce, luckily asked for it when I was there. Tonight, our wraps were cold and we discovered a new charge - a "prep charge" for our drinks. (We ordered Manhattans). The bar manager said it was for the expensive vermouth and cherry. Our food was okay... it really lacked seasoning. We ordered the chicken shawarma, fries, and garlic dip with pita. Our food was cold because we had to wait longer on the fries. The shawarma really lacked seasoning!! And it seems like the meat is very cheap quality. The garlic dip was pretty good but I've definitely had better. It's alright though. Tried to give this place another shot and it didn't disappoint, same terrible service again. We were seated and sat for 15-20 mins without any service. 4 servers walked bye and never stopped. Great food and atmosphere. You want to just love hanging out at the bar until you realize the service is sooooo bad. Example 1. We sit down, order two Rum and diet cokes. Bartender says cool and walks off. A few minutes later, she asks if its ok to wait; they are out of syrup and it will be a sec. All good. A few minutes later she comes back and says no diet coke "something's wrong with the machine" (It's Saturday night?), what else? We settle on alternates and we have drinks and our order. So we have a disheveled bartender telling us that the gun doesn't have any coke products, and it takes 10 minutes for us to get our second choice. There's only three people at the bar, and the restaurant has about 6 tables. Food comes and it is fine Example 2 We decide on another round. Two empty glasses. ... still here .... still here ...... there are THREE persons behind the bar our bartender now comes around the bar to talk to departing customers for 5-10 mintues.. A Manager talking to other customers, obviously friends. Our bartender who has come out from behind the bar to hug and talk to regulars, is completely oblivious. Only person we can get attention from is nice lady washing dishes in front of us. We ask for a refill. Nice lady points to the bartender on other side of the bar... We get refills finally about 10 minutes later. Example 3 Time passes, time to go. We put our card out, nobody seems to care. Manager lady walks by and says we will take care of it.... More time passes . Our bartender is now at the cash register with her back to the room for more than five minutes (John Tapper, where ARE YOU?). We finally give a friendly yell, she turns around and she cashes us out after 15 minutes of waiting. Please. Someone make the manager work, be engaged and if the bartender is off hugging people, take orders and do something besides shoot the sh*t with your friends. I know! Train the bartender. Actually request that she modify her appearance so it doesn't look like she rolled out of bed at the last minute and pushed a shopping cart to work, keeps a watch on the bar for refills and new customers. Fix the soda machines. Its Saturday night after all. We keep coming back here thinking things will change. I've been in dozens of times, the food is really good. I have eaten at the Park Grill both alone and in a group a total of 13 times. I keep forgetting to write a review so I'm doing it tonight. The verdict : FIVE STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. Even when we asked for a lot of service to accommodate a table of eight with kids, the staff came through with flying colors. Twice I have gone there for take-out, and the service, speed and food quality was top notch. I didn't have to ask for any mof the little niceties, they included them all. Try the traditional Mediterrenean food like the ferges, the hummus, the great bread and the lamb chops and chicken. The wine selection is good and not too expensive. I can't speak to selection of cocktails, although they seem to have a pretty good selection, I am just not a fanatic when it comes to single malt Scotch and such. Good selection of beers too. Bottom line: you can take the family there, or just go yourself. Either way the food is super good and generously served, the service is quick, especially given service you see nowadays, and the staff is friendly. They have a roving chef, named Vissi, I think, who visits tables and checks on items. I have not seen this in other establishments. Be advised: they are busy so grab a reservation and expect that there might be a wait if you go at prime time. However, you can always start with a drink at the bar before being seated. Very disappointed in tonight's dinner. Ordered a chicken kabob dinner that was 90% rice and beans and peppers. Ordered extra garlic I'm sure I paid for it but I didn't receive it. I should have checked the order before driving back to Port Huron. Never had a problem with this restaurant before until today when I called back and spoke to the manager. The food is inconsistent, we normally wait 10-15min after getting water drinks before someone stops to welcome us or take any other orders. Tonight we ended up leaving after 15min of waiting, after being seated and brought water,lots of waitresses passed our table without a word. Our waitress then proceeded to toss our menus and make unprofessionally comments to other staff members after my wife expressed disappointment regarding the wait!!! My, oh my, how times have changed. Gave this place a second chance after an awful experience last year (bad food) and we didn't even make it to meeting our waitress. Why? Got seated right away on a busy Friday night, however, I could not help but notice the distressed faces of my fellow patrons. Horribly understaffed. Combine this with a general history for slow, inattentive service we up and left after 10 minutes of surveying the disaster. Management needs to wake up. Came in randomly, and why I have eaten here several times in the past, this is my first review. Being one of the only, it's not the only restaurant open in the Park during dinner time on a Monday post Covid times, the food was surprisingly delicious. We ordered the deboned chicken meal, as well as the chicken Shawarma, the village salad, and hummus with roasted lamb. We often times eat at Phoenicia in Birmingham, and this is an incredible substitute for the east side. More people should take advantage of this restaurant!!! read more

We live right down the block from Park Grill and we love it! The food is fresh and delicious, the staff is amazing (we especially love bartenders Missy and Sarah) the cocktails are yum and everything is reasonably priced.
