Park place is always a go to, usually after one of my 12 hour overnight shifts. The staff is always so friendly, when greeting you, and the food is usually ready within a short amount of time. The ambiance of restaurant has that home town diner feeling that you know has a lot of regular patrons. I am a creature of habit and I usually go for an omelette with hash browns and white toast. The toast always has a nice crisp with just the right amount of butter. The omelette always tastes good with just the right amount of fillings. The hash browns are usually nice and crispy (have had some over cooked ones a couple times. I sometimes branch out and order their corned beef hash, and I think their's is the best i have ever tasted from a restaurant. I have not ordered it in a while, but in the past I have ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits, and it was delicious. read more

Been here many times over the years and not much has changed except the hours and menu. Unfortunately the hashbrowns are still inedible moosh. I had the Mississippi Benny and despite the poached eggs being inconsistently cooked, I enjoyed it. My companion thought her omelette was okay. The service is good with attentive waitstaff. They have the best hot sauce I've ever tasted and I wish I could remember the name of it so I will be going back to dry some of their other food items. The bus crew were not observant at all. I was away briefly to the rest room while my drink was still on the table. when I returned, two other guests somehow already were sitting there. After my wife dropped her car off in Victor for repairs, we were looking for nearby breakfast spots. Surprisingly, there aren't too many options outside the fast food chain. Luckily my wife stumbled across Park Place online. Park Place was packed, which was a good sign. We were seated immediately. Our coffees arrived instantaneously and our orders were also taken right away. I have to say, the staff was pretty efficient here. The food was good. My western omelet was tasty and portioned generously. The homefries were excellent. Everything hit the spot without being too oily or buttery. Prices were also fair and we were able get a full stack of pancakes for less than $6. Definitely seems like the local spot to grab breakfast. My friend and I stopped the other day for lunch after visiting the casino. It's a diner, easy in and out parking, place is bigger than what it seems from the outside, plenty of seating. Seated right away, menu is extensive, something for everyone, I had the fried clams platter, my friend had the Rueben, both were good, as was the service, they kept our drinks refilled. Price was fair, and place seemed clean, will be back next time we visit the casino (not many food options anymore) so if you're in the area, and like diner food give this place a try. read more

Quick service and pleasant staff but neither my husband nor I enjoyed the food. We had lunch there--maybe breakfast is better--he ordered the roast beef wrap while I ordered the roast beef supreme. The meat in my sandwich tasted "off"--it may not have been the freshest. Both sandwiches were over $16, so pretty pricey. I felt the portion of fries served with each sandwich was also small. I ordered eggs benedict. I specifically asked for crunchy well done muffins and well done home fries. I received neither, not even close. The home fries weren't even hot, much less well done. The muffins were barely toasted. I don't know if the waitress forgot to order with the cook what I wanted or the cook ignored how I wanted my order. I ended up tipping 20% and I didn't return it for fear of many things that could have been done to my order, But how hard is to taylor my order the way I requested? I think the only more expensive item on the breakfast menu is steak and eggs, wouldn't you think someone would have asked how was your meal? Food we have had there was always very good and service was great. Fish Fry was one of the best tasting we had found. Ambiance...well it's basically a diner, so it's fine. Came in here a few times for breakfast this past week while working a job in the area. The first time it was really good, the other times were kind of "meh", hence my three stars opposed to four. Entrees i samples during my visits include: i believe it was called the slim Jim, kind of like a Reuben with ham on it., and it came with fries. Very large and very good, but slightly overpriced. The portions for the sides are very small. I also got sausage gravy, biscuits and poached eggs. That was on point. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and it was served on an English muffin, which is nice. And I've never met a gravy i don't like. Oddly, i was quite impressed by their jam selection. I've never seen one so large. They had apple butter, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, grape, peach, apple, mixed fruit, etc and they were quite tasty. Despite being slightly overpriced, they were located right next to our lodging and if we come back for work I'm sure we will be back out of convenience. read more

We have been coming here for Sunday breakfast after our church service at Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes for well over ten years and have always been well served and very satisfied with the food. An excellent place for reasonably priced American diner food and Sunday breakfast options are wide and various. read more

We stopped in for a quick lunch from a local restaurant and that's exactly what we got. Our waitress was Corey and gave us great service. The food came out in less than ten minutes, tasted great, and filled us up. This is a fantastic place with a convenient location, only about 5 minutes from the Thruway so we could get back on the road with no trouble at all. Stopped by Park Place on a road trip. I live in Massachusetts and we were recommended this restaurant by a friend. We stopped in and were impressed with how clean it was. The food was great - I had the Sky Burger, and it barely even fit in my mouth. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd love to stop by. Also - please advise the waitresses to pull their masks up over their noses. I'm not taking any stars away for that but it would help keep some people safe. read more
