I can't say enough about this place. Yesterday we had bfast here and even though it's over 30 minutes away from our hotel, we came again today for breakfast. The breads (esp cinnamon swirl or wheat bread) and cookies are excellent (molasses / ginger) The service is perfect. Best thing they have hands down is the pancakes. OMG. Being a big fan of breakfast food and a former employee of the Green Mountain Club, I can say that this place is special because we ate here every Monday morning before heading into the woods for five days in the summers. My family and I came to Waterbury for spring break. Finding a good place for breakfast was a bit challenging (Maxi's in the area is not very good) and options are limited. We found Park Row by accident - it's right near the train station where there is a Greene's Beans Coffee. Very clean, prices are excellent and the service was as well. I had some of the best skillet potatoes and cinnamon toast of my life, along with perfectly scrambled eggs. Most places overcook eggs - but these were just right and the breakfast was delicious. My daughter had a smoothie and a wrap, and my husband had omelet. All were fresh, fast, and delicious. We came back the next day for more breakfast and we were very happy with the service, and next time we are in Vermont, we will make it a point to stop by. 5 stars - better than a diner here in Jersey! read more

This is a great place for lunch. They have good options for burgers, wraps salads. Everything seems very fresh and taste really good. Cross street there's a park, so if you have a dog you can play with him or just relax and grab a nice coffee as well. It does close right after lunch, too early! read more

The service here was underwhelming at best. We were the only people in line. I ordered a salad and the woman preparing it must have asked me 7 or 8 times what I wanted in my salad- lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, onions- super simple! It took forever. Not only because the woman helping me was very slow and confused, but also because the girl ringing orders up was also very slow going and confused by our order as well(a salad and a turkey wrap). Then finally we sat down to eat. The dressing for my salad was disgusting and the carrots were mush. We had already wasted so much time ordering and waiting for our order that I took two bites and just threw the rest away. Complete waste of time and money. This is my first time to take out food since the coronavirus. The cashier did not have a mask on. The cook looked sweaty and was not wearing a mask or gloves. I'll be honest - I didn't expect much when I first stopped into this place. It had a greasy spoon feel and the two teenage girls working the front didn't really scream "gourmet food". Service? Service you say? Well, not here. Food was decent but the slow and unfriendly service is a downer. When we got there, we sat down and had someone yell from behind the counter that we needed to come up to order. That was fine, but when we got up there we were told to "wait a minute" while the woman finished writing something down... I counted a good 90 seconds before she bothered to look up, and none of the other 3 people working could be bothered either. Then, at least two of the employees could be seen eating their own meal in plain sight. I realize employees sometimes need to eat on the fly, but go do that in the back room. This place is a gem. I think as good as it gets for a cafe. Right next to the Green Mountain Coffee Plant and the Amtrak station. Fresh ingredients, fair pricing, and friendly service. I had a hummus sandwich with various veggies on whole wheat bread. I also had a cup of chicken rice soup. Both were wonderful. My wife had a very nice chicken salad sandwich and my kids had a tasty grilled cheese sandwich. We stumbled onto this place, but so glad we did.
