Newer renovations have made the space inside more roomy... small groups can eat comfortably

This spot is one of the better local quick eateries to eat. Portions are awesome, timing is very efficient, and staff is very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is clean (recently renovated updates completed). Per my standards, some items are a little pricey (but you can find value in the quality sized portions), so judge for yourself. Menu changes and updates are usually very creative, and delicious! And the best part is you can breakfast anytime (their hours are usually 7am-3pm). During the Pandemic, I was a little disappointed that the mask mandate, I felt, was not followed to the Governor's specifications, but I still felt it was safe enough to eat there and people seem to respect the social distancing guidelines. The owner and staff make sure they treat their customers right, and will do whatever they can to make sure you have the best experience possible!

We happened to be in town and we're hungry and we decided to grab some food today. I ordered the steak n cheese with peppers and onions and the French fries. The steak was amazing and hearty with generous helpings of onions, peppers, and cheese. The French fries were quite crispy and delicious. My friend got the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of Greek yogurt which looked good. Overall the food was good and the cafe was quaint and clean. Nice stop for lunch... side note the pancakes looked freaking amazing and fluffy and the home fries looked really good too. Also the

From my perspective as a vegetarian and a jersey girl this spot was more or less a basic diner. The service was good and accommodating for all our requests. Had to ask twice for side order of homefries and toast - but then again it was a rather large order for a group of 9 so perhaps excusable. We all ordered mostly breakfast items - omelettes, pancakes and a grilled cheese. Nothing terribly impressive but I suppose decent food - better than opting for a fast food chain. I enjoyed my egg white omelette w/ veggies. Took a bite of the chocolate pancakes and muffin but was not happy w/ the quality at all. Tasted bland and dry.

Huge, fluffy omelet (I forget what mine was called, but it was stuffed with hash), and perfect-looking homemade cinnamon raisin bread. I should've probably had this as a french toast. Service is definitely local... you can tell that everyone knows everyone else. My service was friendly and polite, but it was clear that I wasn't a local. Recommended for a quick bite and a solid meal.

The best omelette I've found in the area.

I got the Snack Shack iced (Maple Custard latte) all 3 times and it was amazing. I love trying fun flavored coffees and this was one of the best I have had. Sweet enough, but not overpowering. My husband tried the cold brew and a Cherry Dream pour over (iced) and he thought both were great as well (he is also much more knowledgeable and particular about coffee). I also loved that all the food and baked goods were gluten free! The biscuits used for the egg sandwiches were awesome (my husband is not gf and he even enjoyed). We also tried a maple cream cheese cookie, chocolate chip cookie, s'mores biscuit, pb and jelly cookie and all were amazing for being gf (we took a banana biscuit and double chocolate chip cookie home to try later). Everything had a good texture (which is rare for gf) and everything was super fresh as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful and while the place is small, it had a very cool vibe where you could enjoy your coffee inside or sit outside at the picnic tables on a nice day. We will definitely be back next time we come to Stowe!

More akin to a breakfast panini, the gooey fluffy egg and cheese, crunchy bacon, and bright onions were perfectly supported by two slices of crunchy, crusty toasted sourdough. Such great flavor! The iced maple latte was a bit on the sweet side but still very much enjoyed it. TBD on the scone, but judging by how busy it was, it is gonna be great! It's always been busy when I've gone, but wait times aren't very long and the staff is pleasant. Needless to say, I got home and inhaled my turkey on a baguette. The only thing I think is a little bit of a bummer is the lack of more "traditional" topping options. I like my sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The cafe does not offer tomatoes and only has pickled onions. Would be nice to have a little more choice when building your own sandwich. That said, I'm still a big fan and would get food from there again in a heartbeat.

We got the breakfast pancakes to split, which we were very curious about. It was somehow an excellent pancake and also a unique experience. I also grabbed the spinach scramble and my wife got the potatoes verdes. The chorizo in her dish was surprisingly good, but the true unsung hero was the homemade biscuit. Definitely grab one of those! The homemade hot sauce is excellent and not too spicy but packed with flavor. It adds a ton to their egg dishes. We are going back tomorrow to check out the banana bread French toast, which our waitress said is not to be missed, but we simply didn't have any more room in our stomachs! Update after day 2: skip the corn beef hash, and the omelet we got was just so-so. The "scramble" style egg dishes are much better. The home fries didn't get enough love in yesterday's review. They are quite excellent. And, the banana bread French toast was as advertised. Don't miss it. You can get a single slice as a side order for five bucks as of this writing, and you will not regret it. Again, excellent and friendly service and my kind of music.
