I'm sad to give a review like this but ordered the crab cakes and they were basically inedible their star item! They were all bread and filling, I'm debating if there's any crab at all. Don't come here... go somewhere else ....outdated atmosphere, lobster nachos more like a salad with chips .. I don't want lettuce all over my nachos I want cheese and meat ... the clams were ok at best. Just eat on the boardwalk it's a better experience. This place is stuck in 1986. Place on the boardwalk right above Aztec bar. Should of been suspect right there but wanted to see the view. Started off with the lobster nachos and we never found the lobster, same as the lobster bisque, disappointing. We had 3 dinners all bad starting with mine, a stuffed flounder. The flounder wasn't bad but the stuffing was horrible, no flavor and full of filler. My wife had an orange glazed salmon, which was cooked okay but with no flavor on the fish and the orange syrup they smothered it with just made the meal worse. Probably one of the worst orange glaze sauce I've seen. The worst meal of them all had to be for my poor dad. Besides working on fishing boats in Europe and owning a fish market in our wonderful USA for 30 years, you kind of get he knows his fish lol. I order him a grouper with a mango salsa. Sounds delicious and if you know fish, grouper is top shelf, so why not. Well let's say the mango salsa wasn't even that good bc there was no grouper. They gave him a small fillet of tilapia or something. Just the shape and cut of the fish you can tell it wasn't grouper. Very disappointing and they couldn't even cook the meal that well. Was definitely going in with fingers crossed because of this mixed reviews. Honestly I guess people are really picky because I absolutely loved it here. They make fresh squeezed spiked lemonades at the bar in all kinds of yummy flavors... We had strawberry basil, vanilla berry, and whiskey honey. The Bloody Mary was yummy too, with their house made hot sauce. We sat outside for dinner with a great view of the water, but being on the second story, we were away from the crowd. Okay the important stuff, the food. I don't understand how anyone could complain about the prices. SUPER reasonable, especially considering you're right on the boardwalk. I got the salmon panini and it was soooo good. The scallops and crab came with this yummy scallion garlic butter, a nice little touch instead of plain old drawn butter. I also appreciated all the neat food options, mostly all the apps. I don't mean to go off with a long winded review but the whole time I was eating I was wondering how this place wasn't rated better. I've been coming to the seaside boardwalk for 30 years. Theres never been any good sit down, fine dining, restaurants on the boardwalk since the old whistlestop closed, so I started coming here with my family because it's the only restaurant around. Over the years things have steadily been declining in my opinion. Years ago they would give you a complimentary salad with ever dinner then they took that away and now you have to pay 6 dollars for a simple, basic, and small salad. They also used to have AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS garlic butter on your plate with seafood purchases and a nice array of veggies that included carrots and broccoli and now , disappointingly, they only give you zucchini and squash now. Not only have things been slowly disappearing if your plate I'm assuming to cut costs, they've had the audacity to up the prices over the years. Its disappointing when you love something about a restaurant and then they completely change it. Other than that the food is delicious and they have a great view if you're lucky enough to get a window seat. But avoid certain seats by the patio cuz your seat will be vibrating from the unnecessarily loud music coming from downstairs. Won't be returning because they lost their wow factor but it's good if you dont mind these issues. read more

Greet staff, and great food. Been coming to them for years. On the boardwalk but the quality is better then most NYC restaurants. My wife also has a gluten allergy and every time they are able to accommodate her needs as well. Best seafood on the boardwalk. read more

We went back again this year and it's still great. My only complaint, and the reason I'm docking a star, is that they're now cash only. This is a business policy that seems designed to be inconvenient for the customer, just because the business doesn't want to be charged credit card fees. Honestly, I'd rather them raise all of their prices by 50 cents. read more

This was the place by the Sawmill we Went there tonight for the first time since the storm and it was DISGUSTING NEVER EVER will I go back there again!! FIRST the chef is totally disgusting and unsanitary he used his bare hands while making the food, instead of using the proper tools like TONGS he would use his hands to throw the spaghetti in the pan while he is sweating and wiping the sweat with his hands mind u then cooks the food he should be ashamed the staff is slow as hell they don't know what the hell they are doing u sit at the counter and they don't even pay attention to you, the floor is covered with food and the stations gross I don't know how anyone would eat there!!! I use to love getting the lobster roll but seeing how they handle food they should be reported because honestly u can get sick who knows if anyone of them ESP the cook has any kind of funk going on! Great seafood! The clams on the half shell are super fresh. They make a homemade spicy vinegar to drizzle over...amazing! At the new stand next door I've had delicious stuffed clams and a great app, fire cracker shrimp on toast points, that was big enough for a main! I've never had anything there, in my numerous trips, that wasn't yummy! read more

Food was overpriced and not very good. Actually I would say lousy..service was good and view of ocean is nice. My wife had the snow crab steam pot. The crabs were ok but rest of it was awful. Mussels were inedible, the corn tasteless, potatoes cold and bland at 31 bucks quite a disappointment. My crab cakes were a disappointment. Very bland. Had a very nice server. Got the lobster egg rolls which were good but the portions were very small. I ordered the lobster roll and she ordered crab cakes. The lobster roll had more tomato than lobster. Shredded lobster inside was minimal, disappointing. Crab cake was extremely fried, mostly all filler like the lobster roll. I may start writing a book called "disappointments of an angry fat man." Expensive and not worth it. read more

Very slow service but dont think server fault he kept apologizing for delay. Saw several people seated and never waited on for order until they raised hand to ask who was taking the order. We stumbled upon this place walking along the boardwalk. We were hungry and decided to go in. We were seated right away outside but it took a while to be acknowledged by our waitress. Our soups came out right away and they were pretty good. However, it took over 35 minutes for our entrees to come out. I ordered the crab cake platter and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp scampi over linguine. My crab cakes were cold but they tasted alright. The temperature felt like they were sitting out for a while before they were brought out. The shrimp scampi was okay, but the sauce tasted a little off, not sure what it was. Food was average at best. The service wasn't that great, but our waitress apologized for it. We were only checked on once during the whole meal, about 5 mins after we received our food. Never saw our waitress again after that. And then we had to flag down 3 people for our check before deciding to just walk inside and pay. Will not be back because of the service. read more

Great service, but the food was bland and flavourless. Our waiter was amazing, very polite and attentive. The ambience is surprisingly elegant considering its on the boardwalk surrounded by fast food restaurants! We had the mozzarella sticks (which were fantastic!), Romano sandwich (was okay) and broiled shrimp dish. The shrimps were okay, just needed some flavour.. Maybe a sauce? Overall okay, and I might come back to try something else. read more

It was so bad there are no stars to give. Ordered steamed clams, must have sat in the water for 3 hours, utterly overcooked and tasteless. Had an order of fried oysters, was served burned, greasy fritter-like mess. Husband had fish & chips, burned, fishless greasy fingers of dough with a pile of fried chips. We loved the old boardwalk location and this was the first time at the new location. While I miss the open air, the new location is great (outside seating is available...but not quite the same!). Greeted immediately, with very attentive and friendly staff. We ordered the Lobster Nachos and Buffalo Calamari and really enjoyed both. The new restaurant is a bit hard to find, above the Aztec Bar on the north end of the boardwalk, but worth the search. read more

My friends and I stopped here to have a drink and some food. It was very clean and good service. Kim was very nice! Drinks are good reasonable price. Only problem was that the calamari lacked flavor. A lot actually. Was very plain. Not a good mix with the marinara. We asked for a side of spicy mayo that helped a little. We added pepper and salt. It was ok. Good food. Service was not, starting at reception. They don't know what they are doing. We were there on a Saturday night, they weren't taking names and couldn't say how long it would be. We could see empty tables but they weren't being cleared and tables ready but no one to seat you. That was all a bit frustrating . We had broiled scallops and crab cakes. Love Park Seafood! Old location was great but this spot is good too. More upscale and a nice view. Staff is friendly and does a good job. Food is always excellent. Firecracker shrimp is my favorite dish and is so good! Spicy unique marinara, hot peppers, and big shrimp. All on top of partially soaked in the sauce garlic bread that is still a little crunchy. Nothing else like it I've had anywhere. We go to the shore once a year and I always look forward to coming here. Maybe 4 or 5 years now. It has never disappointed! read more

This restaurant is on a second floor above a bar on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. The environment is very formal looking, but when you sit down it is very casual. The menu has mostly seafood items, but also has some non-seafood items for the non-seafood lovers. The calamari came in a small order size, but it was delicious served with marinara and a lemon wedge. The New England Clam Chowder was delicious too and tasted authentic and fresh. My dinner entree consisted of a prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was so juicy and tasty with the au jus and a side of melted butter. The only reason why I left out one star was because I feel like the staff kind of rushed us during our stay. The waitress would say something to our table and leave right away. I rarely saw her smile. Adittionally, I had an almost empty plate andI was still eating a piece of bread, but one of the staff asked if he could take my plate away while it was still in front of me while I was still actively eating. Also the mozzarella sticks weren't really stringy after bites, but that's mostly a personal thing for me. read more

Superb! Started with Shrimp Cocktail. Perfection! Chilled, firm but not rubbery. Then we went all the way to the top & got the Lobster Pot. Excellent. Every morsel was undeniably fresh and delicious! We chose to try this nautically decorated hole for the first time to enjoy some seafood. The bad service began from the door. We had a larger group so they put two tables together, but they put it too close to the window, when we tried to move it out slightly, the red headed girl with the miserable look on her face mumbled "well, that wasn't Supposed to move...but" with a lot of attitude. She is a horrible hostess. Then we got a waitress who must have been brand new. She brought stale rolls after we had been seated twenty minutes and already had gotten appetizers. Then one of the lobsters came out, and it was mushy, her response was "well, I didnt cook it..", we were not implying she did, honestly shes so clumsy she would probably screw up boiling water, but eventually the problem was solved. And one last thing, the cleanliness of the bathrooms was PUTRID!! I mean, it was astonishing how disgusting they could let them get. But, atleast the coconut shrimp were good. read more

I gave Park Seafood a 1 because 0 was not available. Park spelled backwards was my experience at this restaurant!! Three of us ordered the broiled Fisherman's Platter. Now I wished that I had ordered the prime rib instead. The broiled Fisherman's platter had absolutely no flavor though tons of paprika was tossed on top of the seafood. I think it's sad when the best item on my plate were the carrots and broccoli. And oh, the "award winning crab cake" that was 95% filling and 5% whatever was disgusting. Makes you wonder exactly what award this place won?? To top off our night's experience, there was a totally drunk customer sitting at the table next to us. He was beginning to pass out and at times I thought he was going to fall out of his chair. He was a total mess....just like our dining experience.
