Have to start off by saying this place is definitely worth it. My family and I rented a house at seaside and there was a book in the house with different restaurants that we could pick from for dinner. Needless to say Park Seafood was one of them and did not disappoint. We started off with Lobster bisque soup which was amazing then the scallops wrapped in bacon exploded with flavor in your mouth, then for my main course I got the Alaskan King Crabs which where delicious. My daughter got the lobster ravioli also delicious. My son and my other daughter are vegan so can't say much about mozzarella sticks and spaghetti with vegetables. Lol but if you are in Seaside and want some good seafood and service this is definitely the place and prices are reasonable. They get 5 stars from me any day. read more

The owner of this establishment took payment for a lobster dinner to be delivered to the bar downstairs then cancelled the order and did not tell us. When I went upstairs to check on my order they told me it was cancelled; then the owner shoved my boyfriend down the stairs of his establishment when he went to rectify the situation. Number one do not tell someone that you will bring them a lobster dinner shortly and cancel it and then physically abuse your patrons when they show up to correct your mistake. Number two I will tell everyone I know and all our extended family and all of my clients who frequent the shore regularly to never dine here. Number three I wish he actually called the cops which he threatened to do so that I can set things straight and fine this restaurant owner for assault. read more

My wife and I were looking for some seafood after a day at the beach. We had fried flounder and chips, a crab cake sandwich, and steamed clams (~$30 including a lemonade). The steamed clams were ok, although they appeared to have been steamed a few hours in advance. The crab cake sandwich was rather disappointing. I've worked in restaurants and I know what frozen, already-prepared food looks like. I'm pretty sure this crab cake came out of a 500-count box from Restaurant Depot. There was a single piece of lettuce topping the sandwich, and it was limp and bruised like the the outer leaves on a head of lettuce. You know, the ones you throw out. The flounder was over-fried (if not also fried in over-used oil) and the use of the term 'chips' is just misleading. Anyone that has used yelp to look up places to eat knows that the term fish and chips refers to battered, fried fish with french fries, regardless of what side of the Atlantic you find yourself in. 'Chips' at this boardwalk eatery literally means chips. I noticed that they had french fries on the menu and I should have taken this as a warning. I give it three stars only out of being fair. They have other non-fried items on the menu which I did not try, otherwise I would rather stick with McD's Filet-O-Fish and fries. read more

If I could I would have given this place no stars instead of one. The service was super slow and not very friendly. We got our waters, dinner rolls, and placed our orders before we got our drinks. There were four of us for dinner. One person had the prime rib sandwich which was basically all bread with a few pieces of meat on it. I had the fish n chips. Everything was burnt and the cod was so thick and had way too much breading on it. The fries were burnt and tasteless. My bf had the shrimp with fries and his food was burnt looking. Unfortunately leaving my first review do to poor quality of service. Came in with a group of 6 and was served by Michele. Way after our food order was taken we received bread and butter for the table but no cutlery to use for the spread. Had to wait to finally see the server to ask for knives. Once the food reached our table one of the orders was incorrect even though that was a specific change requested with the server. We decided not to change the plate due to how long it took for the food order to arrive in the first place. The Lobster Nachos has hardly any Lobster, which is masked totally by the immense amount of cheese which over powered the whole dish. The server was asked to take away the plate since it was no longer wanted and we were not asked if anything was wrong or if we needed anything during our meal but rather received an ill faced attitude towards the request. We also had to reach out to another server for a dipping sauce we requested earlier and had not received. The only memorable service we had was through the busser who came to collect our dishes and who had a much better attitude than our initial server. Great service and need to at least accommodate or be aware of your guests over takes any mistakes or faults that may happen with food quality. We tipped because we know not for the server but because we acknowledge bussers, kitchen staff, and fellow employees on board to receive gratuity. read more

We stopped here for lunch since they said they had fresh seafood and we saw little crowd gather around here. We decided to get the fried oysters and chips and 2 lemonades. The first fresh lemonade they made (yes they put in a whole lemon)was so yummy! It was the perfect balance of sweet and sour! The second one wasn't as good though.....it tasted too watery. So when they say chips on the menu...hey mean it! Don't expect French fries (like we did). They actually take a fresh potato and slice slices into the deep fryer for your chips! You may only get 6 fried oysters on your plate for about $9, but they are fresh! They will actually shuck the oysters in front of you, coat them in some batter, and drop them into the fryer!! I love how it truly is fresh and that is really rare to find in a touristy area like Seaside Heights. Just wish they were bigger portions and that it wasn't cash only there! Pros: - Fresh chips fried just for you - Fresh oysters that are shipped right in front of your eyes - Nice shaded outside eating area Cons: - Pricey....but this is the Jersey Shore so what do you expect? - Small portions on the main course, but they give you a TON of chips - Cash only :'( Why I gave it a 3..... I love how this place uses fresh potatoes to make their chips and fresh oysters, but that's it. This place was really average. Definitely overpriced for the quality of the food. We came here because we were staying at the Aztec, so it was extremely convenient. But the restaurant seemed confused as to whether they were an upscale seafood restaurant or not. There were cloth tablecloths with paper napkins. People were wearing bathing suits and others were wearing nicer clothes. The food was really not that great. Like I said, it was very expensive for the quality. I had the broiled shrimp, scallops and lobster entree which was very good. But, our appetizers were just alright. The lobster bisque was really bland and didn't really taste like it even had lobster in it. However, we got the spicy shrimp appetizer and it was really really tasty(and actually spicy!) I hate writing bad reviews but in this case I feel I need to. There is not 1 positive thing about this place. Let's start with the drink order. I had a simple whisky sour and it was awful. The sour mix tasted like it was old or poorly made. Then the appetizers. Steamed clams and firecracker shrimp. Both were horrendous. The firecracker shrimp was nothing more than 5 shrimp drenched in marinara sauce with some peppers over bread. In turn making it soggy and tasteless. Ate 1 clam b/c they were clearly not steamed long enough. I ordered the king crab legs and my husband had the prime rib. My crab was soggy and uneatable and my husband's prime rib was awful. All and all we expected to pay a pretty penny for all we ordered but $132 meal for crap we couldn't finish. NO THANK YOU! Never will be back again. read more

Ate lunch here Saturday. Tried the angus burger-not much to say about that no added flavor to speak of, simple and filled my belly. Fries were crispy but no special flavor again...I myself would like more spice more bam! Excitement with the flavors...not so much. Boyfriend got the crabcake sandwich and loved it. Rated this place a 1 because 0 wasn't an option. To start out, upon walking in, the guy behind the counter (I assume the manager) did not regard us. We stood waiting for a few moments before he did. He took our name and informed us that it was going to be about a 30 minute wait. However, there were about four or five tables open that could seat four (the number in our party) that had appeared to have been cleaned. After about half an hour, about two families of four that arrived AFTER us were seated and we were still left waiting! And when my mom brought it up to the manager, he ended up seating us at a table THAT WAS EMPTY ALL ALONG! The waiter we had was very nice and although not talkative, profusely apologized for the wait for our food. The view was nice and looked out on the ocean. The rustic ambience was charming. The food? There was nothing good about it. My fish and chips were okay but the coating was soggy and my fish fell apart. My mom's shrimp scampi over linguine was very greasy and had what appeared to be uncooked oregano as a garnish. My father's chicken parm and my brother's lobster ravioli were the better of the bunch. Overall everything ended up needing more salt. Overall, the food and wait were horrible and irredeemable by even the most amazing of views and aesthetics. As one of the only seafood restaurants on the island, it's decent for what it is. The restaurant is very nice inside and you also have the option of eating outside with an ocean view. Our waiter was very nice. I got the sangria and my friend got the blueberry lemonade. Sangria was a bit strong but good, and my friend's lemonade was a bit light. We got the lobster enroll as an appetizer. So good, but pricey for 6 rolls. I got the fried flounder taco with friends and coleslaw. The portion was nice. The flounder was fresh but a bit bland. Fries were fresh cut, but the coleslaw had too much vinegar. Their spicy mayo is excellent, so I slathered it everywhere! My friend just got a burger and fries, which she liked. I believe this is the restaurant upstairs from Aztec Sand Bar. Overall, it is not very well run. The hostesses will randomly quote a wait time that isn't realistic and tables that are clean and ready for customers will remain empty even while there is a long line of people waiting to be seated. Servers are clearly harried. Food is overpriced, but not bad. We put our names on the waitlist at around 6:45 for a party of 5 and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. This seemed rather short, given the fact that every table in the restaurant was taken and we were fourth on the waitlist. We waited 15 minutes and asked again about the wait and were told it would be 15-20 minutes. But wait, that was what we were told when we put our names down! After about 20-25min total wait time, there were 3 empty tables in the restaurant. One of them was a round table that could seat 6. Soon there were 7 empty tables, all cleaned and set. No one was seated. We ended up waiting about 10 more minutes before we were seated. The line of people waiting dwindle, as waiting customers began to walk out the door, since they could see that tables were empty yet no one was being seated. After we were finally seated, we counted 5 then 7 then 9 empty tables, while there were still people waiting at the door to be seated. Foodwise, the restaurant is somewhat overpriced for main entrees, but the sandwiches are a good deal for the amount of food you get. We ordered a crab cake sandwich for $13, which was okay (the crab cake was almost too moist and not very strong in authentic crab flavor) and came with good fries and somewhat bland coleslaw, and a salmon panini which was also good and served with the same sides. Two friends also tried the broiled lobster tail, scallops, and shrimp, which looked good and was served with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies, but I can't vouch for the taste, since I didn't try any. I probably wouldn't return, but I would say that if you're looking for a place that has more than just fried food on the boardwalk, this is an okay option if you have money and lots of time to kill. read more

Loved this place when it was a boardwalk stand. Burned down a few years ago in the big fire. It's upstairs in the Aztec hotel. Not sure if this is better or worse for them. It's definitely not as convenient when you are at the beach to just grab some tuna bites (the best) or a lobster roll (pretty good but the lobster isn't chunky and they mix it with tomatoes and chives). The mojito type drinks (strawberry basil lemonade, etc) are great. Hope they get their stand back at the other end! read more

It's kind of hard to mess up a food you don't even cook. Also ordered steamed clams that I waited over 25 minutes for. They were inedible. They were soooo over cooked. Chewy, dry. This place gets barely one star. It should really get a negative rating, that's how bad it was. We ate at the sit-down restaurant about a week ago, not the seafood stand at the other end of the boardwalk. Three of us had the broiled seafood platter and were disgusted and disappointed. The food tasted like it was previously frozen. The seafood was mushy and had absolutely NO flavor. And for almost $23 a plate we expected much higher quality. Also, the staff wore shirts that said "award-winning crab cakes." I find this very hard to believe. Maybe they were award winning years ago but now they were 99% filler. Where was the crab?!!! We arrived in Seaside and didn't want to drive to any restaurants in point Pleasant. I am so glad I did not listen to the bad reviews. We went there for lunch and it was very good, the waitress was very nice, The place was not crowded and air-conditioned. I ordered the baked clams they were delicious, also Snowcrab legs and they were delicious as well. The only thing I might agree with in a review that I read was the drinks were a little weak. Would rather have a weak drink and good food, then a strong drink and bad food. The view from the dining area overlooks the boardwalk and is very entertaining.
