We recently hosted our daughter's first birthday party at Park Wayne Diner, and it was truly an amazing experience! The back room was perfect for our celebration!! It was spacious, clean, and comfortable for all of our guests. Not to mention how beautifully they set it up for us. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were so attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, which made the day completely stress-free for us. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn't stop complimenting it! We also wanted to mention Moody, who was absolutely wonderful. He was so kind, helpful, and accommodating, and we really appreciated his positive energy and willingness to help with anything we needed. Growing up in Wayne, this was the place to go after a graduation, big game, or night out with friends. They are a true classic diner, with just about anything you could want on the menu. The service is always great, the food is hot and yummy, but my only complaint is that it's a bit pricy for a diner. Now that I'm an adult and don't have my parents paying for my meals, I don't find myself coming as often. They are great with accommodating large groups as well, I have so many fond memories of coming here at 11pm with my ground of friends. Best diner in Wayne for sure! read more

To start I gotta say the food was amazing. Me and my family come a few times a months in never had an issue with the food. Kudos to the chefs. My server was fantastic too, very attentive and on top of us Britany was. My family and I have been coming here for many many years. We love the kids eat free on Mondays! Food is always so good. The diner has a beautiful, large back room where we held my dad's 92nd birthday celebration not too long ago. It's New Jersey and it's a diner. Is the food supposed to be incredible, no, it's culture...diner culture and it's a nuanced part of life in North Jersey. No diner is the same and different people go to different diners and at different times. That being said Park Wayne checks all the marks for a diner and what it should it be. Diners are a volume business, not a fine-dining experience. Service is acceptable here after multiple visits recently. There are good and bad things at Park Wayne. Good: Disco Fries, probably the best we had out of the 3 diners I went to. The gravy had the most flavor and best consistency. The cheese, is well delightful, but everyone uses the same cheese. Sandwiches, Ruben, good with real deli mustard. Not so good: diner service, it isn't anything to write home about and that is the standard. It would be a diner with over the top service. Coffee, never food, always average at best. Diners are a part of life in the Garden State, please embrace accordingly. read more

This was our second visit to this diner. I don't think I wrote a review the first time but here goes this one! Prepare to walk into holiday joy. The decor was beautiful and definitely puts you in the holiday spirit. Getting seated took a little bit as it was Sunday and very busy. However once we were seated everything was smooth. I liked that they sat us towards the back because we do have a toddler that can get restless so the extra space between tables was appreciated. Our waitress, Jeniffer was amazing. She was super nice and even offered coloring materials for our son which she informed us she actually purchased herself because of customers with kids. She was very attentive and made sure she knew exactly what we wanted. Coffee was decent. The food was absolutely delicious. All of us enjoyed it and we got the value for our money paid. They were able to add peppers and onions to the home fries which made them tasty. Home fries could've been less burnt in my opinion. The omelette was generously made and definitely the definition of meat lovers. I also added jalapeños which made it even better. Fiancé enjoyed the pancakes so much he had to take the other items home. Daughter loved her boneless wings. Son loved his plain toast with butter. I am so impressed with my first visit at this beautiful diner. We had our grandmothers 90th birthday celebration there in the reserved private party room and all of the service provided by the staff was remarkable! I have not seen this much superb hospitality anywhere else. The owner, Moody Sherif was so wonderful, he went above and beyond to display his care and concern in making sure that everyone had a good time and he really made us all feel like family! To add to the amazing service and hospitality, food was fresh, and delicious. My family and I can't wait to visit this diner again, and we are planning to use the space in the future for special family gatherings. TLDR: Good place with good food. The French onion soup came out first. The cook must have had extra salt he needed to get rid of. I need to sip water after every few spoons. The bread in the soup was very stale. Couldn't eat it. The cheese was good tho. Overall it was seasoned thoroughly. The breakfast platter I ordered, 2 eggs - toast - turkey sausage and home fries was pretty good. You can't mess up eggs. The home fries was pretty seasoned and crunchy. Sausage was pretty good too. The toasts were nicely buttered. Was expecting it to be a bit busy given the location but the place was pretty dead. No complains here but wonder if there's a reason. We moved to Texas 38 years ago and we do miss the diners of the north. In a region where businesses are becoming old and in disrepair this facility is a total Diamond in the coal mine. Clean and bright and friendly staff I know it's been here for many years but you couldn't tell very welcoming place. The menu has many pages of diner creations bfast lunch and dinner I had an omelet & home fries with bacon order came out quick and correct. It was pretty good as far as diner spanakopita goes...not like Yia-yia's, but then store bought never is. The Greek salad that came on the side was really good. I could have made a meal just on that. Poor experience tonight. Waitress couldn't have been any slower or disengaged. Took forever to take our order while she was standing behind the counter, never delivered the soup that came with my meal, took an eternity to deliver our other food to the point where my daughter was almost in tears waiting, then never checked in after the meal was served, had to literally flag her down to get a soda refill. And it wasn't busy at all. There were no more than 5 tables in the diner and pretty sure there was another server too. She was just too busy standing behind the counter not caring. read more

Very very disappointed with this place. We order from here at least once a week. Today we ordered and they forgot to give us the soup and did not put dressing in a Cesar salad wrap. We didn't want to have to drive back to pick up the remainder of the order so we asked them to credit us, they said that was not possible and asked if we can get the rest of the items. This is the worst service, how can you not give credit for items that were not received. I am very disappointed and will NOT be coming back. read more
