I'm sending a message today to Parker & Sons about an issue with the installation of a new HVAC unit. It appears they removed some of the roof's coating an did not replace it. I'm sending a neutral message explaining the problem with the bare wood under the new and asking them to contact me about repairing it. I will not be as patience as Amber G! I'll give them a chance to fix it and, if they don't, I'll file a complaint with the Registrar of Contracts. Look for an update after Parker and Sons responds. read more

We had an issue with a plumbing repair that occurred over a year ago. We were basically done with Parker and Sons. There was an errant charge on our credit card. Upon speaking to Vanessa in billing to resolve that, our displeasure with that price service was brought up. She took care of that issue and offered to send out a "senior" plumber to look into the issue. When Kevin came, he was incredibly courteous and professional. He spent time checking for the problem. Although the actual repair would be cost prohibitive, he was forthright and honest regarding what is not uncommon in a house over 30 years old. He made us feel better about Parker and Sons. They have provided great service since day 1 from the first time estimate, to scheduling the appointment to install and the installation and cleanup -when they were finished you could not even tell anything was done-no mess left, and the one year inspection. The plumber would not stop trying to upsell me and I kept requesting that he quit trying to sell me more products and begin the repair. He told me several times that if I did not accept his referral for a remediation company that he would have to state it on the invoice which could affect my insurance. He finally replaced a plastic tee that took about 20 minutes. $900. You must be kidding. Had three more tees replaced the next day for $245 by a different company. Parker & Sons came out to check on my water heater. the first thing he did was soak the insulation inside the water heater and then asked me to come see the wet insulation. then he proceeds to tell me that he couldn't understand why it hadnt blown yet. He checks the rest of the house but conveniently, when he sees me going out into the garage by the water heater, stops and follows me out to give me more bullshit about what could happen if/when the heater finally broke down. said it was imminen. I then get the standard $3-5,000 bids they give for new water heaters and he left, telling me to call him should we have any questions, but not before going out to my breaker box and flipping off the breaker to the water heater. The reason he did that?? So that the next morning, I would take a very cold shower and feel compelled to call him back with an approval for a $3400 water heater that could be done for $1000 - $1500 by the second plumber I called to get a quote from. I knew he had flipped the breaker because I was just in the box the day earlier checking in my dryer's breaker and double checked every breaker switch in the box then - even enjoyed a nice hot shower that morning before he showed up thinking I was gullible and would fall for his illegal business practices and lies. So I flipped the breaker back on, and guess what? Hot from a water heater that never was broken, or leaking or about to explode or anything - per the HONEST plumber I had verify Parker and Sons illegal and dishonest business practices. I am in the contracting business and use a lot of vendors for a ton of services and I will never use and certainly would hope no one uses Parker and Sons for anything. I don't know where to begin with this review. We bought our AC unit through Costco expecting Costco quality. Parker & sons has done nothing but deliver the exact opposite of the Costco experience. It's disappointing that Costco would use this company to install their Lennox units. It's been a year and a half since we've had this unit and we are going on our ninth visits since. Everything from the install not being performed as promised to the unit shutting off in the middle of the night for no reason. A wire was left dangling in the unit and it would sound like a jet engine on start up. On the latest visit we were told that the problem with the unit was a defect from the company and the compressor was damaged. The tech told me they would've never had done the damage that they said was done to the compressor. So basically they installed a faulty unit and never said anything to the homeowner until a year and a half later when we finally complained that our bill never reduced after purchasing the 15k unit. Our bill has been higher than our unit that was 50 years older than this one. He told us the compressor was damaged and was leaking coolant this whole time. There has been no ownership by Parker and sons for this. Not even an apology. It has been a complete fiasco. Regardless, if you think Costco is great, their third-party services are not always the same. Do your research on the company installing your unit. This company has a 2 1/2 star review on yelp and I wish I would've known that before I purchased it through Costco. read more

I just had a "tune up' with parker and sons. I was lied too. The gentlemen who came was very polite and knowledgeable and that is the reason I give them 2 stars. What this should have been called was an inspection. I asked the gentleman what did you tune up and he said "nothing" its more of an inspection to see what is wrong. My house and AC units are less than 2 years old and Parker and Sons recommended $1800 in work to be done and "tuned" nothing. This is very misleading and should be called an "inspection". All they do is come out and look for stuff for you to spend your hard earned money. I paid $60 to have nothing tuned and recommended $1800 worth of work. If they say "tune up" make sure you are actually getting a "tune up" not an inspection. read more

Had my entire 1,600 sq ft home replumbed, and while Parker & Sons is a reputable company, I hit the jackpot with Garrett Stephens as my plumber. The original job took about 3 days (I expected 2), and it seemed like the original team may have been rushing or low on parts. Some things weren't done quite right--hoses weren't strapped down, metal clips were used where expansion fittings should've been. Garrett on June 2, 2025 noticed all of this, fixed it, and didn't cut corners despite only being assigned warranty work at what I imagine is a low rate. He even turned down my suggestion for a "quick fix" on the water heater overflow. Instead, he ran to the store, bought the right parts, and installed it exactly the way the inspector wanted--because that's just how he works. Garrett crawled under the house in tight, dusty, cactus-laced conditions just to retrieve a fallen part instead of asking me to go get another. He strapped down lines, cleaned valves, shimmed a toilet on an uneven floor, installed a garbage disposal in a cramped cabinet, replaced a sink basket, and more. Honestly, I was so impressed that I ended up spending an extra $1,300 to replace a faucet, garbage disposal sink basket and install a toilet just because I trusted him to do it right and I wanted to reward his excellent work ethic with some form of commission. In no way did Garrett try to sell me on anything. This is the one thing I can say about Parker And sons character that is true for many many many of their technicians, especially in the plumbing division they are not salesman. They do not try to over sale or up sale. They have dedicated salesman for that once you're in the VIP program and they kinda learn your customer profile. They know they will learn not to send you their salesman and you can just request honest-to-goodness technicians with whatever line of home improvements you may need so far. I've only been able to recommend the plumbing division as if you cross shop my reviews. I have an electrician. I mainly use on everything whom is a medium sized business person. If you're booking Parker & Sons in plumbing ask for Garrett Stephens. He goes above and beyond, and will work efficiently and effectively. Garrett had mentioned his father taught him the plumbing trade and it would be great to see Garrett and his father arrive to the worksite in the future. If I need anything, I would truly appreciate to meet the man who molded such a great future young plumber. read more

I just had a tech out from Parker and Sons to give me a quote on my 40 gallon, gas water heater, that stopped working yesterday. He was polite on the phone, showed up on time. After a very thorough one-minute review of the situation, he came back with 3 options, the 1st quote for $4,995 on a 10 year warranty 50 gallon water heater, $3,450 and a 6 year warranty water heater, and then $1,995 if I purchased the water heater and he installed it. Told him he was ripping me off, then he wanted to negotiate, said he would have to call his boss to negotiate. Water heaters, full retail, are $800 - $900 for a great one. I have been a client with Parker and Sons for a number of years, including having them install our AC unit 3 years ago and continual maintenance. The past year especially service has been an extreme disappointment. When scheduling my AC/heat pump maintenance, I requested a Service Tech who has service our unit each time and we felt comfortable with. On the day he was scheduled to come out, we were called and told that a different tech would be coming. I said no, that I wanted the tech who has been servicing our unit. I was told that he would not be available and after discussion, including being told that there was a senior tech available who everyone loved and was scheduled an appointment for May 7th. On the morning of the scheduled visit, I received a call telling me that a different tech was on his way. When asked about the senior tech scheduled, I was told that "he retired". Being upset and saying that I canceled the tech that was being sent, I asked to get a call from a supervisor. Here it is a week later and no phone call. Unfortunately after being a loyal customer for years, I will not do business again with this company and will highly recommend that you find a company that will value their customers and treat them with respect. read more

Where do I start? My call two days ago the guy couldn't find me in the system. I gave him the job number he finds it then tells me, there will be a cost I had to remind him that I am under a 2 year warranty in which he goes oh yeah, I see. Red flag one... He comes in to fix my chain....flapper tells Me it's fine just the chain came loose... cool great ... then tells me my toilet is plugged up and it will be $277 to use the augur. I tell him the toilet is over flowing because the flapper is broken... so no you will not charge me to use an augur on a non existent clog.... And if it was clogged still way too expensive when others will do it for Less than $277 and he goes I can't test the chain and flapper without unclogging the toilet again I state there is no clog it's over flowing due to a bad flapper.... ... I ask him... how come my chain and flapper was never replaced ? He stated that nothing was wrong with it .... WRONG! We look inside the tank... broken flapper that I complained about back in October or 2024 and same chain ... they never replaced the unit but charged me $159.... I've been fighting weekly with this toilet chain and flapper since and I come to find out they never changed the flapper because it was not broken...... welp it's broken it has been broken for months... and they never fixed it... all they did was adjust the chain and charged me $159 for it ... I'm honestly going to dispute the $159 from October .... I got a new flapper at Home Depot and my toilet is working now and not over flowing ....These people lied to Me and never fixed the initial problem .... The price for the install was very high but I needed it done. I found them to be about 600 over priced. But the quality of the work was top notch and they got it done the same day they came out. But if you need a electrician from Parker and sons forget about it they qouted me 4800 to do a job my local Green valley electrician did for 1500 including parts and wire. I bought a new Reverse Osmosis System at Home Depot, which I will never go to again over Lowes, but that is a separate story. I asked about installation of the Reverse Osmosis System and Home Depot told me I'd get a call from their install people. Home Depot wouldn't give me a price on this, but acted like I'd be pleased by the discount I'd get from their people. I do get a call from Parker and Sons by the time I reach the check out counter. They won't give me a hint of the price, but insist they can be there the next day. OK. Salesperson/install guy comes in, and starts prepping me for the obscene price. I think $200 is a lot for this relatively easy job, but I'd have paid that to get it over with. Parker and Sons quotes me $727. This is quite possibly the most ridiculous price I've ever heard and told the guy to leave. He was apologetic about it all. I almost felt bad for this young kid because I think Parker and Son's entire business model is based on people taking time off work, being worn down and just consenting to being screwed. I wanted it done, and as I said, it's a relatively easy job that can be done in under an hour, but I'm not this level of a sucker. Coming to my house and having me take time off from work to be there was a complete waste of my time, and their time, but I think the Parker and Sons business model is based on your irritation. Now, while I'd be happy have paid $200, I ended up having it professionally installed quite well for $100. See the pics. Parker and Sons lie and do false advertising on their 24/7 hr. of service. When I called this Saturday 8/23/25 to have a technician out to stop water leaking from the a/c they told me I would have to wait until Sunday sometime between 2 & 6 p.m. This means no air in my home with temps up to 110 degrees and the ceiling below continuing to leak from the upstairs a/c unit. They are the worst especially since I was a customer of theirs for years with a maintenance plan. The unit was leaking due to their neglect of blowing out the drainage pvc backup which was clogged and caused this damage. They don't even a rating and no one should be so called serviced by Parker and Sons. Area residents of the Phoenix and Scottsdale area beware. This can happen to you. We have used Paker & Sons for the last 2 years and have utilized the spring/summer plans and it's the same results, you should do this, add this, replace this but never on what they are looking at based on the season. They just want more money on things you don't even need. BUT, when something does go wrong and no documentation it was even looked at they want nothing to do with helping. This is what we got back: "We noted the age of the water heater on the initial call and the age; There was no indication of an issue with the expansion tank. We did note that an anode rod replacement would be recommended but that was declined, (An Anode rod is a sacrificial rod to protect the metals in the heating system). We can unfortunately only repair what we can see and cannot foresee the future of course. We do not and cannot warranty the entire plumbing system after an inspection. We will offer preventative measures, (Anode rod), based on visual inspection and past experience and history of previous inspections. I empathize with your situation and your out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a result of your leak. But I cannot recommend to our loss department any damages. I have copied Our risk and safety department in this email so they can note the account and add any input they deem necessary. Thank you. For 3 years I have been very satisfied with Parker. The people are mostly great to deal with. I'm sure I've saved money with every decision I've made with them. My one scruple: I recently learned that the preexisting ductwork on the roof when they installed my new unit is excessive and causing unnecessary loss of efficiency. I had even ASKED the installers about the ductwork structure and they shrugged it off saying "we don't do ductwork." I told the service man who told me about the problem about this conversation & he seemed troubled about that. I'm just grateful that he pointed it out. I will have it fixed when weather permits. I haven't yet learned how much it will cost but I know that I've already lost $$ over past 3 years from that loss of efficiency. Very dissapointed lately with Parker and Sons which i have been a cuswtomer of for 15 years. A couple of concerns: 1- I am part of their Maint plan, and the last year or so everytime they come out for the yearly maint they are finding things wrong. Where in the past once in a while they would find things and recommend. 1- When I called to schedule my yearly Maint the customer service rep (Celine Aldret) i spoke to was not friendly at all. She even snapped at me and interupted me when i had questions. I did call back to speak to her supervisor, had to leave a message. My mom owns three houses. She called GB I'll just use initials. And they did the first AC , on the first rental. The second time she called was for her house they did the second install. The third rental house went out and GB quoted my mom almost twice as much for a smaller house a few years later. Now mind you I looked up the same unit they quoted about 3000 dollars but they told her a half size bigger than Parker. GB QUOTED MY MOM 20,000 dollars , WTF ! Parker quoted 13,000 it included a few bells and whistles but the 2 guys that installed the unit started around 8 am and was done around 6- 630. IN ONE DAY ! These guys along with Cody who came for inspection couldn't have been any nicer. Zach who gave the estimate in the beginning could have done a more thorough check when it came to how deep the insulation was for an unexpected cost when Cody showed up. But hopefully he will see this and take my advice. But like I said all were completely professional. They cleaned everything up and left with a handshake. Over priced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $255 dollars they charged me for changing 2 4' light bulbs that I provided. The person was here for 5 mins. If they had told me the charge prior, I wouldn't of paid this amount. I am very disappointed by this. I am a 60 plus year old woman on a fixed income. The tech was nice and let me know this was $100 off because he gave me a discount. He was very nice but the pricing was outrageous. Do not use them. Beware of price scamming from this company. I needed to replace a bad shower hose because it cracked. It was made of hard plastic. I had an appointment today, July 17th, 2025 to have it done by Parker and Sons. I had already ordered a new Delta hose that is made of stretchable metal that does not rust. Josh was the gentleman that showed up to do this job and he was such a kind person. He,also, flushed my water heater for me while he was here. I sure did need it! I had other concerns and we talked about those and he was very knowledgeable about everything. And he was stuck in an attic all damn day . We bought a park model last year and inherited a water filtration system that had very low output pressure. I had tried a few basic things but decided to haver their plumber come out and look at it. He quickly determined that the water pressure to the park modelwas low, about 40 psi. He tried a variety of things that I hadn't done including adding a cut-off valve after the inline water pipe that goes to the sink faucet. He did get the output pressure to increase a little but suspected was low due to the low house water pressure. I felt he went above and beyond. I didn't rate it a 5 star only because he couldn't get the pressure up to where I wanted it but I don't think that his fault. read more

The interview with the manager, James Wallace, lasted over 30 minutes and focused heavily on my background and experience in residential plumbing, which I have over five years of hands-on experience in. During the conversation, the interaction felt engaging and encouraging. I was told I would receive a response the following week, but after not hearing back, I went to the company in person to follow up. The second interaction felt very different from the initial interview. I was informed that I was not selected due to needing more diagnostic skills, which was surprising given the depth of discussion during the interview. Today I do have my Journeyman Plumbing License, I've got just two weeks after I was rejected from this manager. Also I told him, I'm in process of getting my Journeyman license. While I respect a company's hiring decisions, I felt the communication and follow-up process could have been handled more clearly and consistently. Transparency and timely feedback go a long way for candidates who invest time and effort into the interview process. I wish the company the best and hope future candidates receive clear expectations and communication throughout the hiring process. read more

They come out and do a Home Depot $8.88.tuneup on your heater and HVAC if something wrong they charge you $253 for a service call. Very shady company I would use another company if possible like Chaz Roberts. They are very honest I should've went with them. The tech that came out had to call because he couldn't find how to do the job on my heater element and spent over an hour trying to figure it out. there are too many good honest reliable plumbers out there. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! I was, and I mean 'WAS" a fan of Parker and Son but now it will be Parker and NONE for me. I had a clogged drain and needed help. I made an appointment online three days in advance. My appointment was from 2pm to 6pm. I got off work early only to sit here in the dark waiting.... waiting.... and waiting..... 6:00 pm came and left so I called Parker and NONE around 6:30 pm to inquire if the plummer was still coming and was told 'he's on another job and would be there sometime'. "Sometime" Sometime when? I repeated this process at 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30pm when I finally just canceled the appointment. The customer service on the phone was bleak and depressing, it was like talking to the Charlie Brown teacher. On the 8:30pm call, I was told the job was turned over to the night shift tech and that he works from 7:00pm to 6:00am, and could come anytime during this time frame. What a horrible customer service experience. The communication was nonexistent. I won't ever recommend this company, goodbye Parker and NONE. . read more
