a big storm left the cables running to our house dangling. We called Parker and sons to fix this electrical problem a little over two weeks ago. JC came and looked at it and told us they could have it fixed in a couple of days. So we payed the down payment that same day and two weeks later and we still have no power, they haven't even started on fixing it. I've been calling them every day asking what the issue is and they tell me something different every time! First they need a city permit. I call the next day and they say the permit is accepted and they need a permit from TEP now. I called TEP and they don't even do permits. So I call Parker and sons back and now they say the city permit actually isn't accepted. This company has never given me a direct answer and has left me without power in the middle of the summer for two weeks now. They say they'll call me back every time with answers but I've never received a call from them. I just want my power back man read more

I recently had a new HVAC system installed at my home. In addition to the excellent service I received during the install I have received stellar assistance with the few situations that have sprung up. Today the temperature in my home showed to be 85 degrees. I quickly called the technician assigned to help with any problems I have during the first year following installation. His name is Steven Bard. I followed all the procedures to get him to my home. He called me back and said he would see me in about 30 minutes. (This was after he did all the checking he needed to do to come to my home.) He came to my home, went out back an discovered a fire had fried several wires right at the capacitor. He left to get the parts he needed, returned in a short period of time and got my system up and running again. Steve is an amazing technician. He is patient, kind, very professional, and courteous. I am beyond satisfied with every aspect of service from Parker and Sons. Steve is the icing on the cake with his ability to make me, as a consumer, feel confident that I chose the right company for my new HVAC system. read more

I had a pipe break under my driveway so i called Parker and Sons...they rerouted the pipe thru my storage room and attic in my garage....I was in a desperate place and didnt really have a choice which they quoted me 5300$...which I paid for .... after talking with other Plumbers we got completely taken advantage of AWFUL .....Also I had a slight leak under my kitchen sink last week.... Parker and Sons came out again to fix a leak from their first job and gave me a quote of 750$ for a basket strainer knowwing i got taken advantage of before i called another Repuatable plumbing Co. and only charged me 125$ Labor and 30$ for the part..... They gave me a fair estimate and worked with how much I could afford to pay. The workers showed up and did a good job with my installation. The only complaint I have is how they rerouted my drain line from the AC. It used to run into a gutter and drained off into the ground, but they just ran it off my roof and it drips now next to the part of my house that is made of wood causing the wood to be wet there all of the time. I will fix that myself. I am also supposed to have a 10 year warranty on my new unit, but, I got no paperwork or anything about how to make a claim if I need it. read more

I've been using them for several years now and am very happy with how my interactions have been with everyone I've had contact with, whether it be on the phone or the skilled and nice people they send out. I am always looking for those small family businesses that are invested in making relationships with their clients instead only being interested in making money and not caring about the customers concerns. They have reasonable prices and always seem to be able to come fix a problem quickly without having to wait one week. Just had our winter furnace servicing done by Parker and Sons. They always show up on time and are very cognizant that they are temporarily "invading" your space. Truthfully, they are there and gone without you feeling their presence. This visit was covered by Scott. I'd go out of my way to ask for him again. He was as nice as he was professional. read more

Luckily, we decided to buy a new washer/dryer. When we pulled out the old ones, we found we had a leak behind the wall. Hailey came out and checked out the issue. After finding out what we needed to have done, the work was completed, and we are very happy with the outcome. The location was completely cleaned up after the work was done. Ivan fixed a partial outage i had, and he did an amazing job. Five stars for him. I told him of some HVAC issues I had and he set up an appointment for the next day. I chose the 2-6 appointment window because i get off of work at 2:30, although my mom would be home all day. TWICE that day, they call saying they can go earlier. I advised both people that i want to keep my late appointment window because of work, they say OK. At 2:20 tech Chris J sends a text saying that he is on his way. I am still at work and there's no consideration for my commute home. At 240 my mom calls me and hands the phone to him. I tell him what I wanted done, he said he would start the unit in the meantime and I tell him I will be there as soon as possible. THEN WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION, HE JUST LEAVES! NOT EVEN THE COURTESY TO TELL MY MOTHER HE WAS LEAVING! Or called me to tell me he was leaving! He left at 3, I arrived at 3:05. AND IS NOT LIKE THERE WAS NO ONE HOME! Horrible experience. I hate to review both Ivan, who was great and Chris J who was the complete opposite, on the same review. But they should be consistent in service. read more

We are an elderly couple and its very traumatic when major things stop working. Bought this house just one year ago and was not expecting any problems. We called and Stein came out to show us the water softener and water filtration systems. Prices were very competitive. We picked one and it was installed that afternoon by Glen. We moved into our home in May of 2019 and replaced one AC unit using Parker and Sons. We signed up for their family plan $20 a month that includes semi annual checkups. On 2 of the 3 pre scheduled service calls we were left hanging with repeated delays to the point I had to cancel. I called to cancel the service which occurred with absolutely zero attempt to resolve the matter. Will stay far away from this firm and will contact manufacturer of my AC units to see if they will support warranty with other service companies in light of the horrible service track record with Parker and sons. read more

I needed to change my evaporative cooling system to air conditioning. This company made the process very easy. Rob and Rick helped us make a good decision about what kind of unit to buy for our home. They kept us informed many times by email about the progress of our installation. The day of install the technicians were on time, friendly and very professional. They sent Ruben, Alan, Josue and Jeremy. They were able to use a crane to remove our evaporative cooler unit and place the new unit. They also removed the old furnace from inside our home and repaired the area where the furnace made a gaping hole. Within one day I had a beautiful Bosch unit installed and running so efficiently my husband and I now argue over how cold he is keeping the house. The unit runs quietly and we cannot even hear it when it turns off and on. I cannot stress how pleased we are about the service this company has provided for us. read more

I was having major surgery so my wife contacted Parker and Sons for their $20 air conditioning tune up . Two very nice technicians came out to the house and serviced my air conditioner. When they were done they told me that my compressor was bad and the only option was to replace it for $5,000 . They inform me that the condenser was good but they tried a soft start condenser and that did not help the problem they said the compressor was froze up . I informed them for $5,000 I would like to get a second opinion and also get another bid . I talked to a friend of mine who recommended a private contractor in business for himself he came out and looked at the ac unit and the condenser was bad, for $175 my air conditioner was purring like a kitten . I feel this was a blatant rip off attempt by Parker and Sons, my advice is to not use them because I do not trust them at all . If I had listened to the two technicians that were in my house I would have been out $5,000 unnecessarily . I have the receipt for the service and on it it's clearly states I need a new compressor, I cannot believe this company is so dishonest. I had informed them also that I was having the major surgery and I feel like they were trying to take advantage of the situation . Again I would not recommend them at all and I would give them zero Stars if that was possible . After reading other reviews I think their standard replies going to be please direct message us and we will take care of this problem but I am not interested in any more contact with this company . read more

In the summer of 2020 I needed to have my entire HVAC system replaced and called Parker & Sons in May. It was hot in Phoenix and COVID was in full force. They were able to quickly get a unit and install date and the rest of the summer was amazing. I signed up for the maintenance plan which has a lot of perks. Fast forward 2 years and I moved to Tucson. I just had my first check up and seasonal maintenance in the new house that has a 4 year old in it and I knew that if I had a choice I trusted Parker & Sons. I called them up to see if they service in Tucson and got an appointment within a week, and was happy to find that my maintenance plan transferred with no additional cost. Every service technician has been very professional and respectful, with clean and organized tools and equipment. They do a great job explaining their findings. And customer service always answers the phones so I know I can always call if I have an issue and won't be left hanging or wondering when I can get someone out to look at the equipment. read more

Salesman asked how much money I could pay out of pocket and then tried to finagle a credit to make up the difference on the outrageous price they gave me. Salespeople were borderline insulting with the sales ploys, very gimmicky, had the 'boss' on the phone telling me how concerned they were with the amazing quote I got from a competitor. Told me Trane products were garbage. I had called for a second opinion about the size of the AC unit to have installed, didnt feel the salesman had much to say about it and instead steered the sale. Did not feel he was knowledgeable or took time to explain why his product would be better, much more focused on getting me signed up with a credit card. The starting quote was 12k and worked down to 7.5k. I went with the other guy who gave me an amazing deal and did a superb job. Not a fan of companies who are outrightly dishonest with their pricing and use fear tactics to win customers. Won't be doing business with them in the future. read more

We used this fantastic company to prepare for the electrical connection for an upcoming hot tub installation and to create a new outlet and connection for a fountain we had to move. The company answers the phone with a live person, even after hours, could provide a service appointment quickly, kept in touch via phone and text and did an amazing job. Scheduling service was simple, had time frame set up for afternoon time frame. Received text early morning stating that technician was on his way, called office to confirm the change of time and they confirmed tech was on the way and would arrive in 30 minutes, went home to wait the arrival of technician, never arrived. Called office again to check status. They told me that my scheduled service time was for the afternoon, so I asked why did I received the text stating that the tech was enroute, at which time the representative informed me that no text had been sent. I read the text back to representative and also added that this had a link that should the technician had arrived at my residence, which was not true. representative then placed me on hold while he stated that he would check with dispatch and also the schedule tech Tyler Jones. Representative informed me that Tyler was an apprentice and had pressed the wrong button which prompted the text message, so after all that and had to drive from across town to make the adjusted time, they could not or would not inconvenience their schedule to send a tech, but impacting my time schedule was OK to this company. I will neither recommend or use the company. Too bad I was not afforded the experience of their technician, but the office staff shed a very bad light on this company read more

This company promises a lot and gives very little! Very unprofessional installation of brand new ac unit! At time of writing it has been a whole month since the initial install and here today they still haven't finished! They first installed everything running wires across my roof and not even finishing connecting it correctly leaving safety issues! They've been here to my house about 6 different times with different workers each time and even busted water lines causing flooding and not having water on for 8 hours! One of the employees urinated in my toilet knowing I had no running water not washing his hands and leaving his pee for 8 hours sitting there even long after he had left! They stepped on my shelves and washer and dryer to mess with the attic! They sold me one product and installed a whole other cheaper product! It's been and still is a nightmare! They left holes damaged my personal items and still can't get a hold of the main manager there for the company! This is just some of the problems and not even all of the problems I've had with them!
