As Tri-county slowly opens up, Parker Garage has opened their doors for dine-in services. Our girls night out celebration had us excited to get out and Parker Garage was the perfect place. We first noticed how the restaurant was accomodating the social distance guidelines.... indoors, not every booth was in use, the bar had limited patrons at the community table (every third seat) and the east side patio a mere 5 tables, two to a table (capacity is normally 38ppl). Groups of no more than 6 allowed and that was just enough to cover the west patio. The hostess and wait staff wore masks while servers also wore gloves. The only two things amiss...paper menu's and our table wasn't wiped down (we just missed a passing storm so the raindrops were a giveaway). Now for the food....the menu hasn't changed much. Same items, specials are posted online (via a QR Scan) and the bevvie options, again...the same. The food was good, the fries here are spectacular and the cheesecake...well, its lick your plate good. Hehe. Service was great. Our waitress tended to us well and we appreciated the speed with food delivery. Everything came out as ordered. We were treated to a live band, courtesy of PG's neighboring business, so i recommend the patio for weekend dining. Street parking was available (we are rockstars!) My husband and I had dinner at Parker Garage last night before going to the Nutcracker at the Pace Center. We really enjoyed our dining experience! The food was great and the sparkling pear martini was amazing!!!! This was our first time having dinner there and even though it was really busy our food came out surprisingly quick. Our server, Rain was terrific! Very kind and polite! The only thing I might suggest is that there were more choices on the dinner menu. But other than that we will definitely be going back!!! read more

This used to be one of our go-to resturants in Parker, after today's experience, we will never return. Took a while to even be acknowledged when we walked in. Then took a while for the host to greet us. We were awkwardly greeted by two seperate waitresses. Which gives the opportunity to give double the awesome customer service; instead they made it really awkward and half-assed. The drinks were terrible, the food was so oversalted it burned the inside of your mouth. Check out the eggs soup I got instead of a medium poached eggs. Asked for ketchup, they brought me salt and pepper. This is upsetting as I recommend this to anyone visiting Parker. Looks like we'll have to find a new place. read more

Showed up at 5:45 service was okay but it was not his fault. Restaurant was very unprepared and is not ready to handle big parties. Everyone in my group got our food in 15 minute increments one. Dish. At. A. Time. Moving into the food I ordered the brisket dip. Server came up to me 20-30 minutes after ordering and told me they were out of brisket. Went with the pulled pork sand which and was probably the worst pulled pork I've ever had in my life. I'm sure it would be better when they are prepared but it was dry and very unflavored. On a good note they brought us fries while we waited for everyone to get their food. We had lunch today, following the Parker farmers market. Our first time here, great location you can hear the music from next-door, but it's not too loud. We were seated on the patio and it was a good full 10 minutes before we were approached then 15 minutes till we received our drink order and had food order taken. 45 minutes until our food came ! When I went inside to use the ladies room, I assumed that they were slammed and that accounted for the long wait. Only to see in a completely empty restaurant. No idea why our food took so long. Nice lil place and decent service but they only have about 21 dishes (entrees and sides included) and they up charge for everything...the sides go up to $10 !! The actual cheapest meal u can get is $18 - combined with the price of $10 sides I figure I might as well go get a decent steak for that price elsewhere. Def not worth the price. read more

Our waiter never came back to see how we were doing or if our food was ok. It was served with charred broccolini, which was not charred at all. $55 item. Until now, their food has been very good. I'm giving Parker Garage 4 stars, however, if my husband rated this place he would have given it ZERO stars... I ordered a simple salad, took some ingredients off and added others, like grilled onions and avocado... As well as salmon and a GF beef patty. I was very curious about the GF beef and whenever restaurants offer this type of beef, I gotta try! My salad kicked butt! The meat was cooked exactly how I wanted it (rare) and the salmon was buttery and moist! Everything just worked perfectly together. I was very satisfied. My husband on the other hand... Was REPULSED by his food. He ordered the burger and got pepper jack cheese, crispy bacon, avocado and truffle fries and hated every bite he took, about 3, before telling me he couldn't eat anymore. I definitely was sad for him but I was also too busy loving my plate of food. I offered him a bite of salmon (which I NEVER DO) and he accepted (which he never does unless desperate) and he thought it was fantastic! So maybe he should have ordered the salmon? Regardless, since he hated this place SO MUCH... It doesn't sound like we will be going back together! He couldn't stop telling me how he get nauseated from his meal in the car when we left! So good! The service is always right on when we come here. We never have to ask for more drinks we never have to flag down our wait staff. It's really nice. Our waiter today was very friendly and accommodating. Lunch was amazing! Okay, I am totally speaking for myself, because it was amazing! Did I say it was amazing?!? I had the lobster roll and yum. Admittedly, not the same as Maine lobster rolls, but different in a very good way. The only down side was that it was really big and difficult to eat without using a fork. So I ate the inside without the bun, but the bun was good with the lobster. I also splurged and had truffle fries. Again, so tasty! My husband had the bacon Chicken Sandwich and our friend had Smoked Brisket dip and they both loved their food. We all commented on the noise level, which was extremely tolerable especially when compared to other restaurants of the same caliber. We had a steak dinner with drinks a few nights ago. Both the ribeye and the filet mignon were cooked perfectly, both were were very tender. The marrow butter sauce was ridiculous. Too good. We also really enjoyed the truffle bacon macaroni bites as an appetizer. In addition to delicious food, the service was great. I had a great experience here. The Mac and cheese balls were very good. Just the right amount of sauce. I had the bison burger. It was a rather liberal medium, but I didn't mind. The flavor was spectacular! Now, to the bourbon. A little high on a few pours, but if you know your way around a bourbon list you can find value. I took interest in their picks and they gave me a taste of one that wasn't available yet. A glorious touch. I've died and gone to heaven!!! One of the best meals of my life! We had the Chef's tasting. Ours was a 7 course meal, seafood based, Vietnamese inspired per our request. It was FANTASTIC!!!! Chef Duy is amazing! He doesn't even plan the meals days in advance. The morning he comes to work to do the chef's tasting, and that's when the food porn begins. His dishes that he made us were first time originals too. As far as I can tell, he does not repeat dishes. He based it on our type/flavor palate preferences and what fresh ingredients they have that day. Our course started with Vietnamese fish egg rolls for apps. Everyone loved it! even my 4 yr old cousin loved it. It tasted authentic and reminded my aunt of Vietnam as well. 2. Shrimp Charlotte in french bread - one of my favorite dishes! it was flavorful, rich and creamy. 3. Bacon wrapped scallops with potato pancakes 4. Eel fried rice with pork belly - another fav dish of mine! i love eel and pork belly! 5. 5 Spice Duck, roasted Brussels sprouts with a ginger blueberry sauce. AMAZING!!! and the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had! 6. New York Steak sous vide with a mushroom demi glaze 7. Vietnamese Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream- best part about this, it was lightly sweet like Vietnamese desserts. Another cool tid bit about Chef Duy- he makes his own knives as well. I believe he studies the art of Japanese knife-making. When I come back to Colorado for another visit, Chef Duy's Tasting is on my to do list! Do not snack or eat anything hours before coming here!!! The folks that own PG also own Foraged and the food is amazing there as well. If you're into bourbon, both restaurants have a really good selection of mid shelf and rare allocated bourbons. The highlight was some really good clam chowder at the start of the meal. They have a good menu with appealing options. Unfortunately our experience took a downward turn when my wife found a long hair in her brisket. I looked in the kitchen hoping not to see anyone with similar length hair however unfortunately there was a cook preparing the food with his hair up in a bun, however nothing to restrain it from finding it's way into the food. There were people who appeared to be the owners or managers at the table right next to the kitchen and they did not seem concerned about it. It was unsettling... we will not return. First I love the building and the beer was best since I was in Prague, but once again the burger was so average at best, bun was dry and crumbly and meat was overcooked and dry, it sounds like they really have a nice whiskey program going and beer is awesome, I just hope they can figure out the food part. We really enjoyed our time here. When I walked in my first thought was "ooh!". The ascetics were very pleasing to my eye. We came for a late lunch. We chose to sit at the bar and received a warm greeting by the bartender, Maddie. She made me a great Aperol spritzer. We started with an app, Bacon and Eggs, which was a fun and yummy twist to traditional deviled eggs. Maddie offered her favorite dish suggestion to my husband, the Ahi sandwiched, which he said was very good. The sandwich had a slaw and avocado, which he said was a surprising compliment to the tuna. He also got the salad with vanilla vinaigrette. Neither of us had had a dressing like this. It was very pleasing to the palate. I had their grass fed burger and truffle fries. The burger was very nicely cooked, and truffle fries were well seasoned. Overall, we really liked the entire experience. We want to come back and try their dinner menu next. read more

The food here was really good. We had brunch here and each item we had was very good although the portions were just average. The chicken and biscuit with gravy and over easy eggs were perfectly done! And I loved their Bloody Mary although if you don't like spicy it's probably not for you. The only reason why it doesn't get 5 stars was because we had an awful dark haired waitress who got our order wrong, then blamed the online menu for her mistake. And when we asked her for suggestions on her favorite or crowd favorite items she had nothing to say except that everything was good and anything we ordered would be fine. She also forgot to get our silverware and never offered us a to go box or anything like that, we had to go inside to ask another person for both the silverware and the to go box. Again great food and definitely would go again but hopefully we get a different waitress. read more

Came across parker garage while searching for a place for lunch. I had made a reservation for noon, however there wasn't a need for it, as there were many empty tables available. The hostess had brought us outside to seat us, as we requested to sit outdoors. There were many dandelions floating around, which made the experience a little less pleasant..but an experience in it's own. Anyway, we had ordered happy hour brussel sprouts, shishito peppers, and house margarita, along with the steak salad. The brussel sprouts were probably my favorite, perhaps the parmesan was the reason. The shishito peppers were a tad spicier than others I've had...not sure why, but the yuzu aioli, I'd order just for it. The steak salad was, just okay. Can't say much about that. As for the drink, it hit the spot. My friend had ordered the bison burger with a side of sweet potato fries, but halfway opted for a side salad, however when the side came out, they still gave us the sweet potato fries. The hostess did bring out a salad after. Service was a tad slow, but overall a relaxing experience. read more

Whelp we've been meaning to come here for a very long time and had a few reasons to celebrate tonight, so we booked a reservation (Saturday at 6:15pm). It was busy when we got there, but we were immediately seated and a server attended to us quickly. My husband got a Gin and Jam which was "fine" and I am doing a dry January, so I asked for a mocktail which I was thrilled with (some Strawberry and Ginger Beer concoction). Kids got Shirley Temples but they didn't have cherries (in a bar?). Food was super mediocre. Before coming here, we read reviews on Yelp and noticed none of the past year's reviews commented on the food! Lots on service and drinks, but no food reviews. Now I understand; nothing tremendously good or bad. We got Calamari and Clam Chowder to start. The Calamari was soggy exterior and rubby interior, but the sauce that it came with was pretty spicy and glorious. The Clam Chowder tasted like it came from a can, but two tiny really good cornbread croutons on top. My daughter and hubby ordered a NY strip and I got the Salmon. The steak was gritty, covered in sauce and mushrooms, and none of the fat was rendered (just sitting on the side of both strips like someone forgot to cut it off). The polenta it sat on was luke warm and definitely tasteless, even after a lot of salt and pepper. The salmon was pretty good. I liked the new format; they just changed it recently. Roasted root vegetables, fingerling potatoes, and a lemon butter sauce on the bottom and a nicely cooked piece of salmon on top. It was really good, but not something I'd rave about or come back for. My son got the kids Mac and cheese which was heavily smoked Gouda and shells. Definitely not kid friendly. The best part of the evening was the service. We were really happy with how quickly our food came out and how attentive our server was. I wouldn't recommend this place until they change their platform (go lower cost, pub / high end food that's easier to cook) or up their game on the food. read more

I'm going to keep it short and sweet. We went out for my father in-law's 60th birthday. I started off with a bourbon double, neat. When it arrived at my table, I was so astonished at how little bourbon was in my glass I asked the waiter if it was really a double. He assured me it was. My assessment is that for nearly $20 it was the stingiest pour I've ever seen, especially for a bottle that only cost around $40 at the liquor store, and they're no doubt getting it discounted. I paid for half the bottle and got a few sips worth. That was my first disappointment. For dinner I ordered the pork loin with chutney and goat cheese grits. This may have been the absolute worst meal I've ever been served. The grits specifically were disgusting. They had no goat cheese, they were undercooked, unseasoned and had a funk that I can't even describe. If this was my restaurant, I would be embarrassed that even left my kitchen. Just awful. I'm giving them 2 stars because my last visit was decent, but this time they really let me down in a big way. If it weren't for the first visit, they'd get zero stars. read more

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Unfortunately the service has been slipping the past few months. My wife and I went there again last night to try and see if things had improved. We made a reservation for 6:30 but they couldn't seat us until 6:50. When you make a reservation a few minute delay is acceptable but not 20 minutes. We eventually got seated at a booth near the bar. There was a gentleman standing next to the bar and proceeded to yell for the next 15 minutes. No one asked him to tone it down. Finally after putting in our order the waitress came back 10 minutes later to say they didn't have the salmon we ordered. All around it was a bad experience and bad service. The worst part of it all, no apology and really no indication that they cared! read more
