I recently came here for the first time for an oil change. I would definitely recommend this place. I received my car same day, the oil change was reasonably priced (about $60 for my car), and the employees very friendly. After dropping my car off, I received an electronic invoice with a cost estimate and detail of services. You have to electronically accept or decline the services on the invoice before they start working on the car. This is super helpful and transparent. While inspecting my car during the oil change, they discovered my car needed additional work. They sent an updated invoice with the estimated cost and details of the recommended additional work, as well as pictures. Same thing, you have to accept or decline before they proceed. I went in for a wheel replacement and got my car and noticed that my alignment was not right. They did it for free but when I got my car back, I started to notice that my 1-2 gear was slipping. I went to my dashcam if they did something to it. I found out that one of the technicians was using sports mode on my vehicle, flooring it out of corners, and was playing with my paddle shifters. They drove it like this when they were taking it for a "car wash". I recommend not taking your car there it's not worth it. They break and wear cars out more than they fix it. read more

UPDATE 04/11/25: This is the second time my brakes were supposed to be fixed, but the issue remains, and it's actually gotten worse. The squealing is now extremely loud and impossible to ignore. I'm very concerned about the quality of service, and I'm seeking a proper remedy, as this experience has been unacceptable. I initially left them a 5-star review, unaware that I was being misled. Six months after they replaced my brake pads, I had to return because they were faulty. When I came back, it was obvious they were upset--glaring at me and questioning me as if I were making up their poor workmanship. Despite this, I decided to proceed with the remaining repairs from my initial visit. However, they doubled the original quote, falsely claiming that the cost of the parts had increased by 70%. I suspect they were trying to recoup the expense of fixing their brake pad mistake. To make matters worse, Bobby repeatedly lied about when my car would be ready, and the shop took it on a 40+ mile joyride. He claimed they were "recreating the brake issue," but such an excessive drive was completely unnecessary--just another way they took advantage of an already frustrating situation. SCAM They tried to charge me more then 700 to change starter then said to pay 160 because they had to "look" in my car , AVOID I had to get my friends dad who is a lawyer and the police to help me get my car back I told them. it was clearly stated I needed my starter changed and they want 160 because they realized my starter was no good after two days when i told them from the beginning It was no good just want my money and made me very uncomfortable. D and L auto body down the street is way more professional and has better prices and will tell you everything your paying for not extort you because your young. read more

Made reservation on June 26th to bring my vehicle in for service on July 6th at 8 am. With 10 days notice in their schedule I brought my vehicle in for service. Was notified mid day my vehicle had still not undergone diagnostics. I believed there to be a misfire. One would believe that with as much notice that upon bringing my vehicle in that it would be looked at with diagnostic results around mid day and repairs by end of business and if more severe than over the next day. When I was told my vehicle had not even made it into the garage it is due to many other cars in the lot having the same 8am service appointment. What's the point of an appointment if it means nothing. They have overbooked themselves and one can't plan around it. read more

My car had problems with the axle/drive shaft front left & right side. Front and rear brakes + rotors and pads were all worn down. Cool systems fluid and transmission fluids all burnt out. I also needed 4 tires and and alignment. They did a free diagnostic on the car to find out what the problems were, plus drove the car to check how it was riding. They listened to my concerns and was great with customer service skills. They sent an estimate and we went from there. Yes, I was sweating because of the cost but it was necessary and needed and they took great care of my car. I do recommend Parkers they're good people. read more

This is the absolute worst auto repair shop in Boston. I took my vehicle here to have my engine hecked. I had an after market warranty through Endurance Warranty. I communicated to the mechanic the exact problems I was having with my vehicle, when those problems started to occur, and exactly what I did when those problems occurred. They never did a full and complete inspection of my engine, communicated a false issue to the warranty company, thus causing my claim to be denied. They were extremely nasty to me and very unprofessional. After a week long fight with the warranty company, I finally got them to agree to a llow me to get second review. After finding a well respected auto repair shop, they actually did their job and did a full engine inspection and found the real and entirely different problem than what Parker communicated and was able to get the warranty company to approve my claim by showing them the evidence that Parker never did their job and basically lied to the warranty company to avoid doing the work. I would NEVER in my life use or recommend this shop ever again. I Honestly believe they are s racist and intentionally wanted to get my claim denied because their actions made absolutely no sense. Parker's Auto Service is technically located on Gallivan Blvd but in actually is hidden in the back like buried treasure, pun intended, as they do golden work at fair prices. It's a very small family run type garage with a relaxed, friendly, mellow vibe. Prices are going market but they only do the necessary work; they don't pad the bill. My mother lives down the street in Keystone Apartments and they even offer a free courtesy ride as my mother's car needed an alternator which would take a few hours to be ready. They guarantee their work with a smile. I will definitely take my mother's car there again for maintenance. read more

I have a 2010 Corolla and the compressor blew. Because I needed this to have AC this summer, I went to Parker's Auto on another friend's recommendation. I left the car for an estimate, which normally shops charge for (an AC diagnostic). They did this complementary. They also estimated about $1000 give or take, because of an issue with the fan, too. I took it in yesterday, and they said it might take a couple of days. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me today and said it was ready--and that it's not as expensive because the issue was with a switch, and not a total fan replacement. Verdict? My bill wasn't as bad as it could've been. Expeditious service. Honesty is appreciated about the work needed Quality work: brand new compressor and switch I'm happy to give my money to Parker's again should anything happen to my car. Thanks guys! read more

Well went in for a overheated car. Told them my medical situation and I needed a temp cheaper repair. For a ten min job,2 screws and a $60 fan, they charged this cancer patient $500. Unbelievable. And its wasnt fixed. Bought it back again,they did nothing and told me to come back for a 3rd time. Never will go back again ever. I called ahead and scheduled a time and the guy was great! It took about 45 minutes while I waited and it was pretty easy! This is the second time I have used them for my Subaru Forester 2010 and I am thrilled with their service and prices. The first time, they were able to fix a muffler problem for a quarter of the price that another mechanic had quoted. He is easy to talk with, gives accurate estimates, lets us know if he finds anything that might affect the cost of the job, does great work, and has the car ready when he's promised it. Rob's attention to his work is easy to guess at when you look into the shop. It's well organized and neat. Finding a mechanic who both knows his stuff AND is a good communicator is a rarity. finding one close to home whose prices are reasonable and not subject to sudden inflation is the icing on the cake. read more

I was so happy and lucky to have found this place. My first time there and Rob treated me like I was a regular customer. I have a very older model car, so I've experienced other shops just not taking the time to figure out what was really wrong with it. He took the time, and found out what the common problem with my kind of vehicle usually is. Sure enough, he had my car running smooth and cared enough to want it to keep it for awhile to make sure it stayed ok, and it did! (knock on wood, lol).. He talked to me like a friend, and not a sleazy business man trying to add on problems that aren't even there ( Like so many other shops would do, especially when they see a woman! ) If he can fix the old car I have, I can't imagine him having a problem with any other car that goes in there.
