Quality of repairs? 1 (10 point scale) I have a number of issues with my repairs: 1. Five weeks was a ridiculous amount of time for the repair. I was told this was worst case, but they barely had it ready. 2. I had asked if I need to remove my aftermarket camera and RV battery. I was told no and that it would all be set back up. It was not... 3. The bed of the truck was not fully bolted back on. I have photos. 4. The ground wire that prevents the car from catching fire while refueling was not connected properly. 5. There was a "hot" wire dangling that could have easily shorted out my lights. Satisfaction with customer service? 3 (10 point scale) Pleasant enough, but they told me they would call when the truck was ready. They didn't. I just dropped off my car so I will update this review once I see the repairs completed, but so far I am very impressed with this location. Scheduling a repair is easy, you can call or do it online and if you need to make adjustments they're accommodating. They work directly with insurance so you only have to pay your deductible and then they'll bill the rest to your provider. It was a little difficult to find a drop off time that they had available that worked for me but I didn't mind waiting and then having a convenient option. I showed up with my car and they quickly assessed the damage. I had some damage that wasn't included in my insurance claim and they offered to try to fix it too and make sure it was affordable. Once we determined the damage I signed paperwork and they helped me get a rental car. The process was seamless and pretty quick. The agent I worked with was very friendly. They text you updates about your vehicle and keep you in the loop as repairs occur. They seem very thorough and repairs are guaranteed for life which is awesome. read more

was driving on interstate and there was a large piece of truck tire which I was unable to avoid. the right side of my front bumper came loose. no paint damage. I had an estimate done at Caliber and it was over $3,000. a month later went to a small body shop and he said 2 clips were missing. he put new ones on at no charge. what a difference in service read more

I chose this location for my vehicle repair due to its good rating. I hope not to come across as arbitrarily rude, but this review is well deserved and factual. I hope the time and effort I took to write this is not in vain. I would not recommend this business nor would I use them again. I waited five months or so to have my car repaired at Caliber Collision Royal Blvd location, Boise Idaho. I dropped my car off and the initial finish date was a little over two weeks, although a representative there said it may take longer due to damage. It was decided that it would take a little less than one month. Robbie would give me consistent updates. The date was also consistently pushed back. Initially, communication was good. I went on vacation due to the extended time given. Robbie called/texted me to tell me my car was finally done and that he could drop it off. Due to where I live, I felt it best to just keep it at the shop which wasn't ideal for Caliber Collision - or that is the impression I got. That is what ended up happening. After returning to Boise, there was some confusion and major inconvenience when finally picking up my vehicle due to a lack of professionalism and communication from Robbie and staff. I picked up my vehicle almost a month and a week after dropping it off and I find a piece of the interior completing missing from the console, the passenger seatbelt reel completely pulled out and unusable, as well as black tape/paint on the passenger door noticeably and largely scratched . I call and schedule to drop it back off for repairs which they are willing to do quickly and are very apologetic. I told them I had a few days before I go on TDY (temporary duty out of state) for three weeks and they GUARANTEED me it will be completed within the next few days so I could FINALLY have possession of my truck. A few days later - they called me saying they had found a brake light leak due to their removal and replacement of the rear window during their previous repairs. During my entire TDY - Robbie, staff, etc NEVER called/texted me about my vehicle. When I got home on a Friday - I immediately called the company to where a female attendant told me they would call me in a few minutes with an update. That never happened and they are closed on the weekend SO I had to wait until Monday for further confirmation. Monday - I get in contact with them and they tell me my vehicle is NOT completed and requires a few more days. I finally picked my truck up and there are three large scratches on the interior door plastic - I had a vintage National Hunting Association sticker that was given to me from a family member that I ultimately placed on my vehicle rear window, and now it's gone do to the replacement. Thats very small but very inconsiderate. I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK OR DROP OFF MY CAR TO CALIBER COLLISION. I suppose I'll just leave the scratches and worry about it later. This experience has taken two months. The manager or whatever he was- admitted to me "they dropped the ball" and even placed blame on his staff. As an active duty military member, "extreme ownership" is very important to myself and my Sq. I feel as if Caliber Collision, Royal Blvd lacks professionalism, discipline, and accountability. So I'm not huge on reviews and I understand no one is perfect but this was undoubtedly the worst absolute experience from a body shop in my life. My 2016 Focus ST was in a crash and involving a dump truck not securing my load properly. I have only worked with two body shops in Boise and this one was one them. Last time I used them years ago they were great and had 0 issues. To keep this short; my car went in initially for just under a month, the car had more damage that previously estimated (normal not an issue). Well one of the pieces needed replacing was the hood. I decided to get an aftermarket hood with the difference of the insurance payout. Well due to some errors on the shipping part of the aftermarket company it took long and I eventually just had to go with an OEM hood. Which was fine, I was sympathetic to Parks Body Royal and I felt bad for being a pain because they waited a while on me and the hood. Well I finally got my car back and after cleaning it at home I found two new dents on my passenger door and a few paint scratches on the inside of my drivers door Jam and the windshield wipers didn't work. I was not happy in the slightest but hey like I said I know no one is perfect. Well upon today getting the car back after waiting 2 more weeks an employee I had been working with through this process proceeded to insult me; telling me that i was arrogant and that my car is never welcomed back. I was beyond shocked. He told me what he said "didn't need an answer" as in he wanted me to take what he said and leave. I wasn't rude to any of the staff there. If anything I know I was kinda of being a tad needy than most but I was never disrespectful about it. I definitely wasn't happy that the body shop left me with an incomplete car, but never in my life would I expect to be insulted on the way out. Poor customer service. Not only have you lost my business but I'll make sure everyone in the car community and anyone I run into stays away from Parks Body Royal. read more

I want to thank Parks Royal for handling my daughter's claim on her Subaru. Even though the body shop is not a direct repair shop for Farmer's Insurance they handle the claim well. The claims process is long and tedious. I had three estimates done for the same repair on the vehicle (including one from the shop I work at that is a Farmers Direct Repair Shop), the repairs costs and methods varied greatly. My daughter decided to go to Parks Royal because it was close to where she lived and I agreed as the repairs were close to the way our shop would have repaired the vehicle. (She did not have the repairs done at our shop because she lives five hours away). I was very satisfied on how Parks Royal made sure the repairs would done correctly not how the insurance wanted to repairs done by cutting corners etc. Thank you! read more

I had seen the glowing yelp reviews and decided to give park royal a shot. I had a small repair, just the wheel moulding. Kyle first told me I'd be better off at the dealer. I told him to give me a quote anyway. He told me $850 and it would be 2-3 weeks to get it done. I then called the VW dealer as suggested and they told me the part needed to be painted at a body shop. I then called Kyle back and he said ok, now it's $925. He seemed unenthusiastic, putting the best light on it. Given my experience, I took it to Rays auto body who quoted me $550 and 3 -7 days to get the work done. Totally different (better) attitude! If you have a big insurance job, Park Royal may have a different outlook but for my little job they were awful. read more

I had my car towed to their location and they refused to work on it because they said they would not be able to meet my expectations I phoned up another shop across town and not only did they pay the extra tow fee, they were eager to take up the challenge and everything turned out great. I know that parks lost money on a previous job if mine because they messed up and had to do rework, but refusing to work on a car because they can't meet expectations just takes the cake. read more

WARNING!!! Had work done on our truck. Given a quote that was competitive to others, my husband decided to go with them. Once into the work, they massively upped the price. Spoke to they owner, he said that's what everyone does...they wouldn't get business if they gave quotes at the price they planned to charge. They knew we were paying out of pocket and price was a factor in our decision!!! Unbelievable! I couldn't believe he actually admitted to intentionally quoting at a price they knew was low! I went to Caliber Collision for an estimate to repair two badly scraped bumpers on my SUV, damaged on different occasions backing out of my garage. The first body shop I went to gave an estimate for more than $2K to replace a bumper. When I showed up 3 weeks later to drop off my car at the earliest available time, I was told they had become quite backlogged; plus they had neglected to call to let me know they would need to keep my car for 3 weeks. That was unacceptable. Subsequently, a neighbor highly recommended that I try Caliber Collision, because technicians there had done an excellent job repairing her car after a collision. It was easy to make an appointment on the phone for a prompt estimate. While I was there, in just a few minutes Laura removed the paint marks from the front scrape, and told me how to order a paint pen to exactly match my car's color so that she could cover the back scrape. She didn't feel there was a need to replace that bumper (saving me a couple thousand dollars). When I returned with the paint pen, she meticulously applied the first paint coats and showed me how to do the next couple. My car looks great again! I couldn't be happier with their "way above and beyond" level of care and service. I recommend them highly. read more

My step daughter was visiting us from WA State. She had a cracked side mirror. I wanted it fixed before she drove home. It was 5:15 PM, but someone answered the phone. I explained the problem and told the gentleman that she had the part but needed someone to install it. I asked if she could bring in her car the next day. He said yes and we agreed on a time.
