I had a get together with some old friends here recently. We were treated really well, and our server was excellent. This bar and grill is fairly large and caters to volleyball leagues. I didn't expect much regarding food choices and even food quality, but I had hoped to be delightfully surprised. The menu is as you would expect from a bar, with lots of fried food. They did have a choice of three different kinds of salad so I went with the healthiest option which was grilled chicken salad. The salad was fine but the chicken was terrible. It was way over cooked and did not even taste good. I ate probably 2 ounces of chicken or less and focused on eating the rest of the salad. Everyone at our table said the service was great but their food was marginal. Prices were reasonable but with the lack of decor and acceptable food, I figured I wouldn't never return there. Later that night I was hit with some severe digestive problems and we will leave it at that. read more

**UPDATE-I GOT FOOD POISONING**Don't get the food. Everything comes out colder than room temperature. Chicken is charcoal burnt for something that was served refrigerator cold. I don't know how they even managed that. Service is wonderful though. read more

BEST WINGS IN THE QUAD CITIES. Lived here most of my life and nobody In town comes close. It's a well known fact that if you want wings, this is the best option. Volleyball leagues in the summer, cheap specials. Can't beat this place. I also get the chicken strips with Daytona sauce on side. They also have the best Buffalo chicken wrap I've ever had. read more

We come here often to eat. Everything we have had so far has been great! My fave is the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, we've had the mango habanero wings, steak sandwich, turkey sandwich, chicken buffalo sandwich. My kid likes it here also. Nice little bar located in the quad cities.. Came here for watch the UFC fights and got here before the crowd did. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was alright. Nothing to write home about and it was really small and not enough chicken. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars was because of our server. She's was very busy but she hustled and made sure all of her tables were attended to at all times. Honestly I won't be back because the food menu is pretty bare buts it's a nice spot if you want to watch the UFC fights for free. read more

Attended a party yesterday for my uncle's birthday and retirement. The server was very nice, and the homemade chips were delicious! We all had separate tabs and I opted to pay cash when it was time for me to close out. I stayed a while longer to watch a hockey game, and after a short time had passed, I realized the server never returned my card. The manager got ahold of her a while later and said that the server has my card and is now in Orion, and that I would have to come back tomorrow to get it. Didn't offer to take my number, didn't tell her employee to get back with a patron's card, no apology, no offer of a free drink or an offer to return the cash paid for my tab... nothing. I posted a public post on their Facebook page asking why my server was able to take my card home. No response, but as of this morning, the post was removed. read more

Been stopping here for lunch as I'm in town on work. Great staff & great food! All 3 of the waitresses I've had were very friendly & always smiling. Sometime food takes awhile but that's the only downfall on lunch. I've never been here at night of when the weather has been great but they have 2 sand volleyball courts in the back. I'll definitely be back & that will be next week as I've gotta come back for work again. read more

This place is a bar close to bike path. The food is average bar style menu with decent prices. The place is loud with lots of televisions, so it would be a good place to watch sports, but not good for conversation. read more

I visited Parkside on Saturday afternoon to decompress a little after a hectic morning. It was cool, dark, and quiet inside, though I understand that it was an unusually slow day for them. The bar is large and several large screen TV showed baseball games and the Masters' tournament. My bartender was attentive and allowed me to sample the peanut butter beer they have on tap (weird! kind of good) and kept the $2 cans of PBR coming. I had already eaten lunch but definitely suffered from wing envy as I watched a nearby patron devour a plate of excellent-looking wings. I'll come back to Parkside! Gotta try those wings, and - who knows? - maybe join a pickup game of volleyball in one of their outdoor courts this summer. read more

After leaving a job site, I & my wife decided to eat this side of the river. We were in close proximity to parkside according to yelp. Service was decent. Happy off work people were there. I enjoyed the breaded wings & shrimp basket. My wife had a awesome cheddar bacon grilled chick sand. They were quick with our takeout, and food was satisfying. I will deff be back. read more

Parkside has good food, and our service was outstanding. They had a live band playing on a Friday night, which was pretty cool. Only real negative was a weird layout & lighting. Could definitely upgrade lighting and televisions. Would make it a complete gem. read more

My husband and I have went here for years for the grilled tenderloins because they r awesome . Todays experience wasnt good at all. The fries came out half cooked so sent them back , and got fresh ones but the grease must have been very dirty, they tasted like motor oil. The hamburger my grandson got didnt taste like beef, it had a weird taste to it so dont know what was going on today but the food has def went downhill since last summer when we went. They also need to let people know they charge .75 for a side of ranch. We ordered 2 sides for the fries but didnt know we were getting charged for them. It was very disappointing today and we wont be going back. Its one of our fav places in the summer to ride our motorcycles down there to grab lunch. Time to find a new place. read more

We stopped in here to have a bite to eat because we had a coupon and decided it was a great place to try it out. I ordered the French dip with their homemade potato chips and my husband ordered the in breaded tenderloin with their homemade french fries. Everything was tasty but the tenderloin was a bit overcooked and the chips were a bit dark. Brittnay was our waitress and she did a great job. We would go back. read more

Parkside is everything I miss about the QC. A decent bar and grill where I can dance to the Funktastic 5 with my Mom and crazy Aunts mixed with the possibility of running into an old high school boyfriend. The bar service is incredibly slow. Don't even both going to the back bar. Your best bet is to park it at a table and become best friends with your server. read more

Went to Parkside Grill today with a couple of coworkers for lunch. Any other time we have had really good service. We ordered our food which I ordered a soup with their wings as my meal. Was kind of expecting my soup first but it came out the same time as the rest of the food. The food was good and our waitress was very polite and efficient with refilling drinks etc. The biggest problem was when she brought our bills she informed us then that the credit card machine wasn't working. We were more than welcome to use their ATM to get cash (a $2.25 fee for their machine). I only had a credit card to pay with and informed her of that. She tried to run my card but the system was still down. She commented that the system hasn't been working since they tried to run the first card earlier. So this was something that they knew before we ordered!! She came back and said that she could write down my card info on a post it note and they would run the charge later. REALLY!! Who in their right mind these days is just going to let someone write down their credit info?!? I asked to speak to the manager. She went to the back and rather than the manager coming to the table to talk she asked me to follow her to his office. The Manager was extremely rude and said that it's not their fault the system is down. (Yes it is!! They have backup lines for this exact reason. Connect it to a phone line. Get a dedicated DSL line.) I told him that the waitress could have informed us of the system being down before we ordered. We could have gone elsewhere or went to the bank to get money without getting charged an extra $2.25 for using their ATM. He gave me a rude look, snatched the bill out of my hand and shut the door to his office in my face!!! (Oh yeah and he was on the phone with someone the whole time we were having the conversation. REDICULOUS - Didn't even have the courtesy to hang up or put someone on hold. I spoke to the bartender before I left. She stated that the line being down was not under their control. I said that I understood that, but knowing that it was down before the customer orders is something that should have been communicated. They were hoping it would come back up which I understand, but they still need to communicate that. On top of that this was the 3rd time in the last 5 visits that their credit card machine has been down!! Not sure if Parkside Bar and Grill will be visited for a long time.
