I love this location for the neighborhood vibe. My brothers and I meet here for lunch several times each year. We've ordered Parkway Pizza for takeout/delivery a couple times and enjoyed it each time! This past weekend we ordered online for delivery. The online ordering process was easy and straightforward and our pizza was delivered right within the time frame they estimated (about 45 mins on a Sunday around 3pm). Delivery was free, too (other than tipping the driver, of course)! We like how their pizza has a little bit of a thinner crust and is cut into squares. Although it is thinner, you can still get it packed with toppings. We ordered the Carnivore Pizza (pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage and hamburger) with added green peppers. My wife and I both agreed we'd order that particular pizza again. Knocking off just one star because I feel it is a little pricey for what it is. I appreciate the fact that they almost always have coupons, though. They usually include a little flyer on your pizza box with deals to use in the future. Just came here for the first time in many years and it's kind of perfect? It's got such a modest, comfortable ambiance that fits in perfectly with this cozy neighborhood. My friends that live nearby come here quite a lot, and I would too if I lived in Longfellow. We came in and got two build-your-own pizzas and an Artichicken, which is one of their many vegan options (it uses faux meat from The Herbivorous Butcher). All were super delicious, and when you're eating in person, that pizza fresh out of the oven has the perfect amount of cheese to make for the ideal melty texture. The service is really friendly and fast, so you should really hang out and eat in if you can. Again, they are clearly very proud of their extensive vegan selection, but they also have house-made freshly ground sausage and other great proper meat toppings. Amazing pizza place in Hiawatha! My boyfriend lives near this pizza shop and we were hungry and decided to walk the quarter of a mile here for the pizza. It did not disappoint. Service was great and the pizza is delicious. The artichoke dip was a great appetizer and next time I would probably just get the cheese toast rather than the pesto (but I just thought it was kind of too salty). Pizza crust is perfect-- crunchy, yet chewy and soft but sturdy. I loved it! The toppings on the pizza are hefty and lush. LOVE that they make their own sausage in house!! This is my husband's and my youngest daughter's favorite pizza place. Came here tonight to celebrate my youngest daughter's 6th birthday. The place was very loud as there were two other large groups celebrating birthdays as well. We tried the artichoke dip this time and the it was surprisingly pretty good and the flat breads were flavorful but not too overlying with garlic flavor with a little kick of spiciness. The dip could have a little more sauce as it was a little dry or hard to dip. We always enjoy the supreme pizza with loads of veggies and cheese. Love the crispy thin crust. Parkway is a cozy neighborhood pizza spot with a bar and nice patio. It also has a bunch of substantial, labeled vegan items, but I wasn't impressed with what I had. The vegan garlic cheese toast ($7.65 for four pieces) has a strange vaguely-garlic flavor and an off-putting quantity of cheese with low-grade sauce. The menu claims to use Herbivorous Butcher cheese and it's flavorless, mushy and creamy and joyless. It wasn't as sticky and gooey as Daiya (hands down the worst vegan cheese on the market), but it's not as flavorful and amenable to melting and browning as Follow Your Heart or Violife Plantings. A build-your-own 12" pizza with vegan cheese, vegan pepperoni and vegan sausage ($26.19) came together better but didn't impress. The cheese is the biggest problem, but the sauce isn't great either. The meats were fine. A 14" "Artichicken" pizza ($27) is vegan by default and suffers from the same crappy cheese and a lack of sauce, making this a bready, mushy pie. Parkway has no vegan desserts. If you want a better vegan pizza, Pizza Luce is easily the best in the Twin Cities with fabulous house-made "rinotta" cashew cheese. Fire & Nice Alehouse does an excellent wood-fired pizza with Violife Plantings and an unknown brand of vegan pepperoni. read more

Instead I received Mac n' Cheese with shrimp and mushrooms. I am happy with the mistake as it is ridiculously good and exactly the comfort food I needed. The pesto garlic bread was hot and cheesy but the pesto was wayyyy over salted for my preference. We have ordered many takeout pizzas which have all been very good. I ordered anchovy pizza recently and to my good fortune they didn't skimp. I don't know what it is but the first time I had an anchovy I was immediately hooked. Next time I'll post a pic. And there will be a next time. Yum! New favorite neighborhood pizza. We tried it out for the first time last night, and it won't be the last. Perfect casual place to sit on the cute patio and enjoy some wine, garlic toast, and awesome pizza. My boyfriend and I split a 12" veggie pizza, substituting broccoli and pineapple for black and green olives, and adding pepperoni to his half. For 3 customizations, props for getting them all correct! I know pineapple can be a controversial topping selection. Save your judgement and eat what you like. The pizza came out pretty quickly, hot, full of melty mozzarella, and lots of toppings. It tasted just as good as it looked, full of flavor, and made even better with the crushed red pepper, parm, and oregano Italian spice mix on the tables. Bonus for all those veggies tasting so fresh, too. I was pleasantly surprised that the thin crust stood up to all of the toppings and held strong on the one-handed test. Next time, I'll be torn between ordering this same pizza or a different one. My boyfriend is excited to try the buffalo chicken. Cheesy garlic toast was deliciously cheesy. We were first brought a regular garlic toast, but the server quickly apologized for the mistake and brought a hot cheesy one. The short wait didn't bother us, but do beware, we heard lots of apologizing and order corrections at the tables around us as well. Not sure if the issue lies with the service staff or kitchen, but either way, I'll give them credit for fast and friendly corrections to make it all right. Also, because they told us to keep both, we took half of it home and heated it up with our own melty mozz. Mmm, love that cheesyness. The $6 cabernet was worth it because the pour was generous, almost a full glass.
