I asked for Pino Noir (red) and got Pino Grigio (White). Interesting but yes, drank it as I'll pretty much drink any wine. :) House salad asked for blue cheese on the side. Hubby got the wedge. Nice place to watch a game in the downtown area. No easy parking here and I don't believe they have valet parking. You almost have to make a day of it or have other plans to come down. A great spot for out-of-towers staying overnight for an event. Elevated BW3's. Buckets of beer get sent to your table with a sparkler like bottle service. Prices are on the higher side for a sports bar. Service is not the greatest at the bar. I like the atmosphere and the music blasting. The music gets turned off when the main event comes on. I've now had two meals there in two days. Both were fantastic. I had a flat bread yesterday that was as good as any pepperoni pizza I've ever had and today I had their Barbecue wagyu brisket burger and it was great. It's a little pricy ($29) for the burger but wow what flavor. Live their fries also but just a little cold. If they had been any colder I would have sent them back. My husband and I tried it out for dinner and felt a little too old for the crowd (were in our late 20s) around 8/9pm when they started setting up a DJ and moving tables of "VIP" all female guests to tables next to the DJ and serving up shots. We left shortly after that, just not the atmosphere we were looking for. We got the wagyu pigs in a blanket as an appetizer. They were good but we both felt $16 was way over priced for what you get. They weren't anything too special. We then shared the Wagyu Brisket Flatbread which is priced much more appropriately ($20) and was delicious! Didn't have any complaints about the service. Really love this place! I coordinated a Saturday night buffet dinner for 125 moms & sons and it was a highlight of a really fun weekend. The food is so good, the service was top notch, & you really cannot get a better vibe/atmosphere. The waitstaff was so attentive, especially Bryan who remembered a few of us from last year when we had a smaller party & made everyone feel welcome & special. If you are a sports fan this is a must go to restaurant. The food is very good and not your typical below average bar food. Our waitress was phenomenal always bringing us drinks and checking in on our party. So - we ended up dining at Parlay before Kevin Hart as our reservations at Galla Park were cancelled due to an incident that had occurred earlier in the week. We were definitely overdressed for the atmosphere. It was game day so everyone was decked out in their OSU gear (as expected); however, I don't think that I would choose Parlay for a date night out. It has more sports bar vibes than date night vibes - which I'm all for if I'm wanting to watch the Buckeyes or Steelers on TV! The things that we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed were the Boozy Bucket with High Noon + Ketel One Vodka and the Parlay Pretzel! I love the sparklers that come with the boozy buckets! The pretzel was amazing too! Large, super doughy, and very filling! The cheese sauce was great; however, we were not fans of the mustard. It was sweet yet had a bitter taste afterwards if that makes sense? We were not fans of the the Caesar Salad nor the Old Pub Style Pepperoni Flatbread. The salad is served with more of a vinaigrette dressing versus a Caesar dressing (and TONS of parmesan cheese) and the flatbread was too chewy/crunchy for our liking. The servers were awesome! Absolutely love this place. A gem of a spot at the very end of the short north strip that is 100% worth the visit. Great ambiance and TVs visible from every angle. Favorite spot to watch a game with a small or big group and they are very flexible with table accommodations. Menu is exactly what you want for a place like this with well priced apps (I recommend the bang bang shrimp) and really good pizzas/sandwhiches. Drinks are reasonable for the short north district and the servers are all very friendly. Had both and awesome experience with Gabby and Emily with larger groups and they killed it!! Basically an upscale Hooters. Food is really good for a sports bar, though a tad expensive. A few beers on tap but not a great selection. Waitresses are mostly blonde OSU coeds who provide timely service but seem miserable and that they don't want to be there. Either they're on their phones or huddled up together in some corner trying to avoid customers until they have to do some work. Oh, and I'm not sure what the hostess does. When I walked in she just stared at me and pointed to the bar. Would seemingly get up and wander off every five minutes or when groups walked in to be seated. LOUD!! That's the first word I would use to describe Parlay. We were there on a Friday night for a 7:15 dinner reservations and OMG do they play the music LOUD. We struggled to talk and hear the waitress. The only relief from the sound was going to the restroom. What made things worse was that it took just over 50 minutes to get our food (2 burgers, a Philly beef and a flat bread). So everyone was forced to lean in and practically shout to be heard. When you go to a sports bar for dinner you aren't expecting it to feel like you are in the middle of a night club dance floor. A few other misc observations: the Blue Jackets we're playing that night but weren't on any of the screens in our area, the waitress kept lying about the status of our food (it's being plated right now) and when we got outside we heard another couple say they wouldn't be back. The food was OK. Others have said overpriced but it was in the range you would expect to pay considering the location. Figure out what you want to be - a sports bar or a nightclub. Overall good experience. We came to this place after we enjoyed a bit of the Arts Festival downtown. There were TVs everywhere each with a sport playing, my boyfriend is obsessed with sports so this was the perfect place for him... for me idk, lol. We had been wanting to try this new place that has opened in the space where Black Point previously was. We made a reservation for four and were promptly seated upon arrival, however it unraveled from there. Many people stopped by the table to check on us and see what we needed and apologize-but really we just wanted food and drinks. We eventually got drinks after 20+ minutes, but the food never came. After about an hour, we decided to jump ship as we were starving and running out of optimism. Ultimately, went across the street to Hyde Park and enjoyed a delicious (price matched) meal. They are trying to be a bar, restaurant, and club all at the same time with new staff and not enough of them. Pick one thing and be good at it before you try to do all of this. There are so many great places in the area-if you're looking for a great meal go get it elsewhere. If you want a shoulder to shoulder bar and a bucket of beers with sparklers coming your way, then maybe this is your jam. read more

We went there for Burger Week the server said fries didn't come with it for the $7 deal so I ordered a house salad since I rarely finish fries anyway but out came my burger with fries and a sad house salad with no cheese and just a hint of onion and a bill that was not $7 for the burger. When we had a problem with my fiances food the manager was condescending and offered little resolution.
