I ordered a Hot Latte with Lavender and Oat Milk, of course and while I wanted to try their Breakfast Tacos I went for the Maple Keto and Cherry Chocolate Keto donuts. Christmas leftovers got my fridge full so I need to go light-ish lol. I then saw that the had doggie donuts called Pawlor Doughnuts. These are made with oats, flaxseed, eggs, and bacon grease with some maple syrup. The icing has honey, vanilla, and pet-safe sprinkles. Would my Luna like them? Yes, because she's a bigback. The Pawlor donut looked very good and while Luna looked at it weirdly, she sniffed it and then tried to put the whole thing in her mouth. See? Bigback. The Latte is pretty bold and the Lavender syrup kinda faded. The keto donuts were very cake-like. The taste of the coconut milk in it was very strong and while it's sugar-free the icing tasted very sweet to me. I'd still give them another try, just not their keto donuts. And I'll pick up Luna a doggie donut too.

Stopped in at parlor for a dozen doughnuts to go. Staff were very quick, friendly and helpful. The place was immaculate and the doughnuts are special. My only critique was the mocha I had tasted liked watered down iced chocolate milk. I prefer a sweeter mocha so it may have just been that it was not my preference, but worth a try.

Honestly these were the best donuts I've ever had. I didn't know what to expect but the flavor is rich but the texture is light and fluffy like a croissant. We got a dozen assorted flavors delivered. Our favorite flavors were the coconut cream pie, the sandy beach and the maple bacon. We're in Jax on vacation and I'm just glad we don't have a Parlor Doughnuts at home because I would weigh 1000 lbs.

After experiencing Parlor Doughnuts, I'm reminded of the movie Pulp Fiction and the $5 shake conversation. First, we went mid morning on a Friday. So parking was easy, not crowded at all. We chose to eat inside as we had never been. They also have a drive thru. Order and wait at counter service. Plenty of tables and it was clean and well lit. Doughnuts are $3.65 each unless you buy a dozen and then they drop to $2.65 each. I got the Chocolate Chocolate, and my doughnut dining partner got the Lemon Bar doughnut. We got a cookies and cream as a 3rd doughnut to go. We also got 2 bottles of water. I'll preface this by saying I really like cake doughnuts while my partner prefers yeast doughnuts. The doughnuts at Parlor are different and almost have a flaky pastry /croissant texture. I only had the one, but my fellow doughnut diner had hers and tried a small bite of the cookies and cream as well. She said that the underlying doughnuts were the same (i.e. Not different flavors of cake for example) with just different toppings /drizzle, which kind of makes sense from a production standpoint. I really enjoyed my doughnut. I was afraid given the look of the toppings it would be too rich and too dense, but it was not at all. Now to the Pulp Fiction comment. These doughnuts are not cheap ($3.65 each) , nor were the bottled waters ($3 each) and then add in the pretty much obligatory tip and you are at $20 for 3 doughnuts and 2 bottles of water. To paraphrase Vincent Vega, "I don't know if it's worth $20 but it's a pretty good doughnut (shake)"

So one of our vendors brought this to our team during their visit to our company. I had never tried it before, but as someone was going around and offering them, they looked more like desserts than doughnuts! It was so good that I had to go there myself. They have so many varieties it was hard to choose! I got a dozen and took it home to my family. They are big enough to share. This will probably last a couple of days at our house. So far the strawberry shortcake is a favorite. Haven't tried them all yet but so far all the ones we sampled were deliciously sweet. They are cronuts(donut shaped croissants), so they had the flaky crispness of a croissant but soft full bite of a donut. So good!

Hubby surprised me with a little treat from Parlor Doughnuts on Thursday night. We shared 4 different flavors of the layered doughnuts: French Toast - maple glaze and syrup topped with cinnamon powdered sugar. Simple and delicious! Cookies N' Cream - my favorite of the bunch. Chocolate syrup, cookie crumbs and whipped cream. If you like Oreo cookies, get this one! Campfire - chocolate glaze, graham cracker crumbs, mini marshmallows and chocolate glaze. Stellar s'mores doughnut! Blueberry Hill - so yummy! Fresh blueberry glaze. Plenty of blueberry flavor throughout. All were perfectly flaky and soft with the ideal amount of sweetness. They are hefty but light and fluffy at the same time. We thought the doughnuts were just as good as the Fruit Cove location. We will definitely be back soon!

Always fun to try specialty donuts like this! We came when they just opened. The place was clean and staff were friendly. Since it was our first time, the girl helped us pick out a few to try. Didn't disappoint! Love that we could get our pup a treat too.

I stopped here for two reasons. I love donuts and people were going in and out of this place. I was Curious! Once inside, I liked the vibe and decor. I ordered two of the most popular donuts (Maple & Bacon and Strawberry Shortcake). I also ordered a Cappuccino. Let me start with the donuts. There were both good even though I prefer dense donuts over fluffy ones. I'm a Krispy Kreme Fan. At Parlor, the donuts are fluffy but with the right amount of sweetness. They didn't have filling inside. I couldn't stop eating the Maple one. The Strawberry one is lightly glazed on top. The cappuccino was impressively good. I didn't give this place five stars cause I didn't see the bathroom.

We ordered the carnival and French toast doughnuts! Omg they were delicious. We also ordered the bacon egg and cheese croissant which was tasty. These doughnuts are everything a doughnut should be! The service was super quick and friendly. The inside was clean and organized.

You've not tasted a bite of heaven until you've had Parlor Doughnuts! They're the best I've ever had!

I was in the area looking for something sweet. I remember this doughnut place being a new hot business in the Orlando area, since I was in the Jacksonville area. I decided to try it out, less crowded since it wasn't new on their area. LET ME TELL YALL these are soooooooo goodt! Even my friend that doesn't really like doughnuts I left them at his house and he said to me kiamiah those were pretty good. LOL Depending on your area that you are in they have local doughnuts that are custom to the locals so their local were Boston crème the week that I went. The price of the doughnuts was about 5 bucks each a little pricy but they are sooo very worth it. I wish I could try them all.

Good afternoon Peeps! This is Taco Man Wedo…read moreW/ Food Discoveries and more. I'm so behind and playing catchup on my reviews. However, I had to do a review on this particular location in Jax Beach area. I recently went to Jacksonville and found an abundant of Mom and pops as well as small chains to check out. Not only am I into Tacos, I like quite a few other things as well, including coffee. My wife tells me I'm a coffee snob. I laugh and say, no, I just have high standards. . Anyway, I recently got into Cold Brews, especially organic sourced from one location. When I went to Jacksonville and looked up best coffee houses for what I was looking for, Bold Bean showed up on my list. Therefore, I had to try it. Unfortunately, something happened to some of my pictures. At least, I have this picture of my wife and that's what counts. Food/Drink: I ordered an Organic Cold Brew and believe or not, it was very reasonably priced, I want to say $3.50. This was my 4th time ordering cold brew and it was the best one I ever had so far at this point. Smooth and you can taste the earthy notes. No fruity taste and that's what I liked about it too. It was a solid A for me. 5 stars Service: The staff greeted all patrons with smiles and ready to serve you. Everything was being run smoothly here. One of the employees had a rocker shirt and we had something in common. He found out I was from California and I researched this place and it was one of the places in had to try. Therefore, he comped me the cold brew even though I insisted on paying. Ambience: Place is very clean, and aesthetically has a warm welcome feeling to it with nice background music so you can have no problem chatting, working on your lap top, playing games on your phone or chilling. Therefore, come on down to Jax Beach Bold Bean Roasters and you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

At the time, Mayport Cats was the branch that handled the feral cat colonies out by Mayport Base (TNR, feeding, vet care & evaluation to see if any could be placed for adoption). My aunt occasionally volunteered and contacted us about a 9mth kitten, that had delivered her own litter of kittens and was available for adoption but had been overlooked at several adoption events. My husband and I went to meet Clover, we immediately knew she'd be the perfect fit for our daughter (and boy oh boy has she been) and brought her home that day. Included in her paperwork was information about The Caffeinated Cat and our entire family was so excited to learn such a place existed. Several of our children have chosen to make donations of food, toys and treats (for the kitty residents of the cafe) for their birthdays and other milestones vs receiving gifts......and of course, we always procure some human treats for ourselves while there. Lastly, they stepped up and stepped in when we were experiencing a situation with a stray that had been dumped in our neighborhood (unfortunately it's quite common here). He was a stunning muted Siamese that adored people and dogs, but seemingly hated other cats although it seems that particular trait was due to the stress of being dumped and insecure (once he was no longer a "stray" the issue resolved)my kids named him Pig due to his pink nose. I was caring for him but couldn't bring him into our home, as he kept charging the glass door, hissing and growling every time one of our cats walked by. Sadly, he showed up badly injured one morning.....after an obvious fight with another cat, seemingly having lost his eye. I was heartbroken for him, I knew he needed to belong to someone.....he was not feral nor adjusting to the lifestyle well and that point seriously injured. I contacted Mayport Cats/The Caffeinated Cat with the hope of getting some guidance/advice but they instead offered to take him into their care. He was renamed "Merlin" because his eye somehow magically reappeared after being seemingly gone for 3 days and he healed beautifully, I'm not sure if he's still a resident or has been adopted but The Caffeinated Cat is an amazing place, that offers a unique experience that benefits our community ....If you are a cat or animal lover, you should definitely stop by, grab a drink and pet a fur baby! **Including photos of Clover and Pig aka Merlin

Nothing bad, nothing memorable, especially for the hype and prices. The overall experience, though, was pretty rough. Parking was a nightmare (maybe because it was a Saturday morning, but still worth noting). My main issue was the service when ordering. Zero eye contact, no greeting, no "thank you," no receipt... just "here's your total" and a table number. I stood there awkwardly for a second and finally asked, "Uh, all set?" and got a very annoyed "uhhh yeah? you're good." The entire interaction felt dismissive and rude. The cashier was rolling silverware at the register the whole time and clearly couldn't care less. First time I've personally experienced the infamous Gen Z stare, and wow... it's real. Probably won't be back, at least not to this location.

Last week of April 2026, my wife Judy and I were in Jacksonville/Atlantic Beach for a conference. While I was in session, she returned to our rental condo and got locked out due to a malfunctioning electronic door lock. She couldn't reach me (ringer off), so she walked down the street to Breezy. Owner Nancy Breezy immediately welcomed her with open arms. She lent Judy her personal phone so she could contact the condo owners to get the door fixed. Once that was handled, Nancy introduced Judy to the regulars, making her feel completely at home. Judy ordered a delicious latte and some gluten-free baked goods -- both were outstanding. On a deeper note, Judy has been through an incredibly tough couple of years with painful losses that had shaken her faith in human kindness. Nancy single-handedly restored that faith. Breezy feels like a quaint, neighborly oasis of love, fueled by Nancy's genuine goodness. Everything served here seems infused with what we now call "Vitamin L" -- pure love and warmth. Nancy didn't just help with a locked door -- she rescued my wife's spirit that day. If you're in Jacksonville Beach, make time for Breezy. You'll leave with great coffee, amazing treats, and an even bigger smile. Thank you, Nancy -- you are a gem!
