I've been many times and it's one of my favorites. My usual is Hefe's fish tacos. Large portions, great flavor, crispy fish and LOVE the veggies. My children love the peanut butter and honey roll ups and the cheesy noodle spidoodle. The staff are fast and friendly, great food, and while not family oriented they are still kid friendly. I really enjoy the live music when it's going, too. The only negative I could come up with is that it's too popular for such a small location and sometimes parking and seating can be a bit of a pickle. read more

What an amazing little place with spectacular food! We were on a quest for a sunny deck after our rafting trip and stumbled upon this place after driving by Cascade Lakes Brewing Company and seeing their patio area in complete shade. This small little place serves up some killer burritos and tacos (people were raving about the fish sauce on the fish tacos). I had their special burrito with chicken, Gorgonzola, black beans, corn salsa and some sort of spicy sauce that gave it quite the kick....but yum!! You pay extra for the guacamole (75 cents, worth it, got to have guac!), but the chips were crispy and you have your choice from three salsas (mild, hot and corn), we went with the mild and hot since we already had the corn on our burritos. Total little dive taco place, but so worth it (and they have $1 PBR tallboys...nice!). I will be hitting this place up again! YUM! I wish they had a place like this in Seattle! read more

I recently visited this place in Bend. We ordered 2 of their burrito's and a couple beers. They were just OK, not anything special no fantastic deal, but heavy on the employee attitude. The server's could care less that we were even there, they used their BARE hands to scoop up the various components of the burrito, NO Gloves ! and their hair was a mess and hung down...ick ...ick....ick... The outside of the restaurant is unkempt at best and the back a mess of cartons, stinky garbage, and employees smoking...I won't be going back. read more

I actually lived around the corner from this place for years and never went. What was I thinking! These tacos and burritos were awesome! They have gluten free options as well! I would not recommend the blackberry lemonade because it is carbonated and not what I was expecting. I heard the beer was good, as is most of the breweries in the area. read more

Love this this place. Used to be a staple for my husband and I when we lived on the Westside. Today I was craving their fish tacos, cause they are the best. Anyways my friend called In our order because we knew it would be busy during the lunch hour. The order was ready when we got there to pick it up to go since it's faster and we were planning on taking our daughters to the park. But when we picked up we decided to eat outside prior to the park because we were starving. I got my order and opened the box and there was a hair in one of them. Just first thing I saw a hair! I went back in and told the cashier "sorry, but there is a hair in my food" he took the tacos and said "ok I'll make you new ones" not an apology or anything that felt that they cared there was a hair in my food! I know it's an awkward thing but an apology would have gone a long way. My tacos were made again quickly but they weren't as full looking and one was missing a piece of fish after. I ate them and they were good but not as enjoyable as them making them right the second time would have been, and also the cashier being somewhat apologetic. Hence the 2 stars review. read more

The best place ever! I work in NW crossing and ate here every single day when I was pregos! Went back and it was remodeled. I still Love it! Smoked salmon is to die for! Falefal is super yummy.. I live in Seattle and only make it to Bend a couple of times a year, yet I have a punch card and fill it up. The Wrap of Khan is always the highlight of my visit to Bend, and those visits are always for fun and recreation. The food is addictive, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is very fitting for an outdoorsy town out west. Good beer selection, and lots of bike parking, too. read more

The last thing I expected was to find the best clam chowder I've ever tried in a Mexican restaurant in central Oregon. I was here about a year ago and still think about it to this day. We freaking love Parilla! It's a fun and yummy place to go any time of year. The food is reasonably priced and always fresh. The fish burrito is bomb, and my boyfriend always gets it. Their tacos, quesadillas and other burritos are great as well, and make sure to get a side of their guac. Their combos are creative and they have a great menu that can be personalized for anyone. Try all of the salsas, they're fantastic. I love that this place also has a punch card so you can earn free food. Super fun place to go! It's small and seating is limited, so weekends can be a little crazy and sometimes the lines can get loooong. But for good reason, it's worth the wait! read more

We were tired and struggling to find a place to eat on a warm Saturday afternoon. By chance we came across Parilla Grill on the way to the Barrio. We couldn't have been happier. Sure, the line was long. However, everyone was so nice and the food was most excellent. We had the Wrap of Khan, fish tacos, and Enter the Dragon. Everything was delicious. We felt like we had discovered a local secret. We love unpretentious places like Parilla Grill that do all the right things--locally sourced food, excellent service, and delicious food. We look forward to returning. And of course, the margaritas were most excellent. read more

This is going to be a constructive criticism I suppose. We used to frequent your restaurant on the west side often. We love supporting local restaurants. Most of the time we came with 5-6 people. You used to have a punch card that you have gotten rid of quite a while ago. Buy 10 get 1 free. For our family we'd get a free meal every other visit. Call us cheap, frugal, or whatever but it got us in there when we had a full punch card knowing we were going to get a free meal. I highly doubt it breaks the bank for you to do the punch card but what do i know? I don't own a restaurant. All I know is that we don't go there as often since the ixnay of the punch card. That's a lot of business from us you're not getting. We used to go there 3-4 times a month. I can't be the only one that likes punch card and is drawn in when i know I have a free meal and can save some money. Eating out isn't cheap but saving even a little makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Other local businesses do the punch cards. I don't know why everyone wouldn't to be honest. Just a thought to bring back the punch card. I love the fish tacos. read more

This place is a local's favorite, delicious fresh food, I am a regular and nothing feels better on the stomach (before or after a hard ride on the trails or on the mountain) with great local beer than the Enter the Dragon Wrap, with blackened salmon and curry sauce with all of the fresh veggies, rice noodles, salsa, wasabi sauce. It couldda been a contendah! Funky, lots of potential. I asked for one smoked chicken and one blackened taco. I was told that the blackened salmon was portioned out for three tacos, so I'd have to get the order of three, which I did. They came on cold gooey flour tortillas, and the salmon in the three tacos combined was enough for one taco. My companion ordered a shrimp taco, three small steamed, unseasoned boring shrimp. I really love going here for some really good food. Today it wasn't so good. I would probably not recommend going here when they are really busy. There was a line out the door and I decided to wait, that's fine. But when I ordered my usual hefes fish tacos I was super dissatisfied to stand there and wait while flies were landing all over my taco tortillas waiting for the fish to cook. Gross!! The fish tacos themselves had barley any fried fish in them, one of the tacos had a tiny piece of fried batter. That's it! Anyways, I don't get to pay them any less when they are busy and produce shitty food. So I won't be going back during those busy times, because it's not the same experience I'm used to from them. I know we can all have our good and bad days. But I feel the food should be consistent busy or not :) read more
