I was very frustrated as I tried to rent a home with Pasas and they did not respond to my inquiries in a timely fashion...in reality they did not respond at all and consequently the home was rented to another person. In addition, they tried to tell me that as a renter I would be responsible for replacing the washer/dryer should they break during the lease, and then I would be responsible for purchasing a new washer/dryer and at the end of my lease, these items would remain at the home and I would not be able to take them with me. So let me get this straight...I move-in and there's old washer/dryer already in the home...who knows how long they will last...and then when they break, I have to pay for a new set and won't be able to take these with me when I leave? Linda Pasas and her team were the property managers for a home we rented in Pt Loma. Everyone at Pasas was courteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Anytime we had a repair or issue they were quick to respond and accommodating of our schedules, and always communicated effectively. Unfortunately, the owners of the home were unreasonable to deal with and made it difficult for Linda and her team to effectively manage the property and they had to end their contract in Dec. 2017 during our lease term. Pasas made sure this was a smooth transition for us. Sadly, the owners appear to be vindictive by posting a negative review almost a year later. As a property owner, Pasas Properties did us a great disservice. They did not take pictures and document appropriately before the tenant moved in and we had substantial damage to our property. They did not manage the expectations of the tenants and left us in the middle of the lease with a difficult tenant to resolve major issues on our own. Pasas Properties did not properly oversee the property nor keep appropriate documents to assist us with the issues that occurred after the tenants had moved out which made it difficult to reconcile the return of the security deposit. Pasas Properties has high turnover in their office and does not pay attention to details and gives bad advice when dealing with tenant-owner issues. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for property management. Pasas Properties is glad to take your money but will not look out for your best interest. read more
