This is a great place for healthy choices. While it is a bit on the pricier side, the portion sizes are generous. I miss the lentil rice and would appreciate more veggies as their options; however, the quality of the meats and current selections are still good and usually very fresh! I visit this location pretty often because the staff is friendly and always greets me with a smile. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is quiet, and they play good music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This was my first time at this establishment. I had craving for Cava but didn't want to drive ~30 mins so Pasha was perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Employees were friendly, interior was clean and everything looked fresh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I chose the braised lamb which tasted great and I was happy with the overall experience. Portion size was pretty good for the price. Certainly will be returning when I'm in the mood for Mediterranean and I'm in the area.

Okay the service here is top tier for a "chipotle" type ordering experience. Specifically because of this amazing gentleman who helped us yesterday (Tuesday around 4 45 pm) he was so kind and patient. However, the food was pretty disappointing. The dolmas, as huge and flavorful as they were, were so dry. The Naan bread was rock hard (but they were more than happy to swap it out for us). My bowl was very flavorful- but the rice was cold and chicken was dry and cold. It was hard to enjoy. Nothing was fresh. This all goes to say. Don't go between 2 pm to 5 pm As we were leaving, the line was freshly restocked with fresh steaming hot food. They put on nice music. But if you get there before then, you get what's been sitting out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is decent for a casual spot, we tried sittinh there yedterday instead of just taking it to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But I'd just take it to go so I can heat up my food next time. Still 3 stars because the times I go when everything is fresh are what I kept in mind and that team member was nice.

Traffic from hell, but I was determined to get my Pasha fix. Turns out, my desire for rice with my wrap was a bridge too far. Who knew? Apparently, it's a forbidden combination, even if you're willing to pay. I have had this in the past. The manager's "no rice" lecture definitely took the edge off my Mediterranean craving (in a bad way). I am now concerned that I got the server in trouble. Pasha Express, it is my wrap. It just rice.

First time trying this place! Ordered online got two entree bowl and a side of falafel. The meat (gyro and chicken shawarma) was well seasoned! Loved how there's a lot of healthy options to fill your bowl! 15.99 might not be worth it for someone how's not a fan of veggies/toppings. The falafel was a bit hard for me, my son had hard time biting it. Would still come back for quick healthy option to-go mediterranean food!

We have never tried Mediterranean food before so I ordered 2 Entree Bowl x's 2 @ $13.99 each plus extra's since we were visiting and not sure if or when we would get a chance again. AND For Take out/Delivery everything was Really good, fresh, and rememberable!! Favorite meat was Gyro Beef and Chicken Shawarma where my least favorite but still good Chicken Kabobs a bit dry but good flavors Falafel was ok but dipped in Pasha Dressing (golden Italian) even better Basmati and Turmeric Rice were Tasty, cooked perfectly, good mouth feel to them You get to pick 5 veggies per bowl and there were Plenty (around 15+) to pick from including Tabbouleh Salad, Chickpea Salad and feta cheese Tzatziki-Hummus-Garlic Aioli Pasha Dressing (golden Italian) Walnut Baklava - flakey not soggy but deliciously honey oh so sweet Ok I think I touched on most of it. Yes I will go back and get it again!!

I decided to order from Pasha Express as my favorite restaurant for take home food is closed on Sundays. I downloaded the ChowNow App to my phone and made my selections for a wrap. We are seniors, so we often share an entree. We both like the gyro wrap with a variety of veggies added. In the app, a side item is listed as Required, so we chose fries. when I goot to the restaurant, I let them know I was picking up a to-go order and gave my name. They handed me a bag and I started out the door, then realized the fries were not in the bag. when I asked for the fries, I was rude told the owner removed the fries from a promo that ended yesterday. If a business is going to offer something in their app, they are obliged to give it until they fix their app. If I knew it wasn't included when I ordered, I would've gladly paid for the fries, but who Would know to order the fries separately when it's required in the app. I didn't even get an apology from the employees about the order. I won't be going back to Pasha Express.

Not the best, but not the worst either. This location only offers buildable bowls and wraps. To start, you pick a base of basmati rice, cranberry rice, biryani rice, or mixed greens. Entree choices include: gyro, falafel, chicken shawarma, fried cauliflower, beef shawarma (+$2), chicken kabob ($2). You can choose either one or two entrees for the bowl, while the wrap comes with one entree. Then, you pick additional toppings: beets, chickpea salad, feta cheese, kalamata olives, lentils, mixed leafy greens, onions, pepperoncini, pickles, shirazi salad, taboulleh salad, tomato. Finally, finish your bowl or wrap with a sauce: tzatziki, hummus, smoked eggplant, spicy hummus, pasha bbq, garlic aioli. The entree bowls also come with your choice of pasha chips or naan. I got a one-entree bowl with biryani rice, gyro, beets, chickpea salad, lentils, pepperoncini, shirazi salad, taboulleh salad, and smoked eggplant sauce. The flavors of the bowl were good, but the ingredients did not taste the freshest. The biryani rice tasted old and dried out. There was a generous amount of gyro, but it was also a bit dried out. The smoked eggplant sauce had a nice consistency but tasted more burnt than smoked. The naan that comes with the bowl was fluffy but far from authentic. I also got the walnut baklava ($3.99), which had a nice filling and sweetness. However, the phylo layers were stale and did not have the lightness or flakiness a typical baklava has. For a fast food type restaurant, the baklava tasted better than I expected. It is a bit pricey for the size (about a 4" x 4" square). At their current price point ($9.99 one-entree bowl, $12.99 two-entree bowl) and quality, I will not likely return to this location of Pasha. I would want to try the food from their other locations that aren't "express" to see if the food quality is better there.

This is a really good spot to catch a quick bite to eat. The food smells amazing and the staff is friendly. They make sure you get what you need and get it hot. It's kind of a "make it in front of you" type set up so you know they are being sanitary. If you don't want to take out, but you are still not quite comfy with dine-in either, they have a great patio spot with a few tables outside. It's right on the edge of the parking lot tho so you have to be ok with the cars going by and in and out. Nice clean restaurant with great prices and friendly service. Doesn't get much better than that!

I ordered an entree bowl with a base of cranberry rice and falafel for protein. Service was fine. They have a nice shaded outdoor area to sit and eat. The bowl was comparatively smaller than bowls I've ordered from similar places for the same price. The variety of toppings was nice but I would have liked more of each. Specifically, more than 3 slices of cucumber. Also, the cranberry rice was unexpectedly under seasoned.

Good food and healthy options with mildly exotic flavors to make you feel transported to another part of the world for a lil bit. Love all the options and free add in's when building my bowl. Today, I enjoyed a Chicken Shawarma bowl with biryani rice and fresh additions of garlic sauce (I can't NEVER get enough of this delight), hummus, tzatziki cucumber dip, baba ganoush, cucumber salad, tabouleh salad, feta. I'm in heaven! The only thing that didn't taste fantastic was the baba ganoush (smoky eggplant dip). It was a little too thin and sour for my taste. But believe me, I ate it. Lol! Prisoners don't get left behind on my watch. Er... I mean, my plate. The staff is also quick, efficient and friendly. The manager came over to check on me whilst I gobbled up my lunch. I asked the cashier about a rewards program and he explained that they do have one and while he rang me up, the register asked me to input my phone number. As soon as I sat down, I received a test message from Pasha's reward program to register. Awesome! I love getting rewarded for my loyalty and business! Go check it out! This location on Culebra never disappoints. Now, let's hope their baklava is as delightful as it looks! Saving it for dessert later at home!

Pretty consistently good place to eat. When I get a craving for food I had overseas, the wraps can take the edge off so to speak. The fries are ok, pretty small portioned for the price. The wraps and bowls are huge portions, though. My friend ordered the dolmas and I tried one- they were more heavily spiced than I've had before so that may or may not be appealing to others. I didn't care for it. Bear in mind this is an Express location so doesn't have the massive menu of the full locations. read more

I entered this place at 3 pm no customer inside except 3 guys and none of em didn't say welcome to Pasha, I saw the chicken turning on the stand up grill and looked very good and I pointed at the chicken and said can I have a chicken sandwich he said sure he start to prepare my sandwich he added the garlic sauce and then opened the plastic container and I saw the cover had some water which drips in the container of chicken and he put a lots of chicken on the pita immediately I said is that from today bc the color of chicken was yellow and he was silent for a second and said ohh ya this is called Express pasha, I didn't trust what he said and he added pickle and tomato and made a very big sandwich twice as the regular chicken sandwich I always get from another Pasha on Wurzbach so I said the reason I asked it's bc I was raised with this food and that chicken is turning in front of us should be cut and used to make sandwich not bring the chicken from container he again said ohh this is express version !! as soon as I try to bite the sandwich everything dropped and that chicken was old and didn't taste good at all I eat some pickles and throw the rest in the trash and paid $10.70 so I'm done with this place good luck to y'all if you like to try express Pash. read more

Went there for lunch. Ordered Gyro, Saffron Chicken an Rice combo. Gyro was cut thick like a shoe sole, chicken tough and dry and rice just blah. All the add-ons (tabouli, ganoush etc) tasted old and uninspired. Wasted money on another fast food joint pretending to cook something they can't. read more

Amazing. Staff very, very knowledgeable on products. Manager asked me if I enjoyed my meal. Food is amazing, healthy, and portions are large (6 oz of chicken breast!). Probably the worst Mediterranean food ive ever tried.. especially at this location. if I could give 0 stars I would! i recommend Zoes kitchen,TRIO or an actual authentic Mediterranean restaurant managed by those who know the culture and are apart of the culture instead of supporting these people who just profit off of the lifestyle and traditions read more

The service and food at Pasha Express is EXCELLENT! We just happened upon Pasha Express when we went for pizza at the Urban Brick, but it had closed down. We headed over to Pasha Express because we were already in the parking lot. What a great surprise...the food was absolutely fantastic. We had both the Chicken and the Gyro bowls (loved them both). The spicy hummus added just the right amount of spice. The Servers were very polite and generous with the food helpings. We will definitely return in the very near future! read more

Chownow system does not talk to restaurant! No point in ordering ahead. They'll start your order and You'll still have to wait when you get there. Just got off of Medina Lake, pulling a boat. On our way to put the boat into storage before they close. Decided to order ahead so we can pick up and be on our way. When we get there the gentleman states that their system does not work with chownow and it's an ongoing problem they have and aware of. The manager there said he can make us our food now, but there is a 15 mins wait due to cooking the chicken kabobs. Which we knew there was a wait for, and why we attempted to order ahead. We agreed because of a couple of reasons; 1: we already paid when we placed the order and the manager says it'll be a great ordeal to do a refund. And we probably won't get it back for another week or so. 2: it'll be even a greater ordeal for us to tow a 22 footer through the streets and parking lot of San Antonio, which will take us probably the same amount of time. After all of that, the food was ok. Chicken was dry even though it was cooked fresh, (hmmm that didn't make sense) and the rice was hard as if it was over cooked. Bottomline: Don't offer a system where you can order ahead if it doesn't work. Defeats the whole purpose. Oh and I got an email from chownow .....hours later AND after the store have closed.... that my order was ready...2AM... foods ready for pick up lol read more

I have ordered to go from this location a few times and always was very happy with food, always fresh and delicious!! Only complaint I have is they are kinda slow with to go orders, always late, when you come in there around the time to pickup food you have to remind them about food and only then they start preparing everything after waiting in line to Remind them read more

This is one of my favorite fast casual dining spots. They have delicious, fresh Mediterranean food. The restaurant is line cafeteria style and it allows you to customize your order, rather than being stuck with a fixed menu. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are happy to answer any questions and are willing to let you sample the food if you need help deciding or are unfamiliar with the options. My favorite is the chicken shawarma bowl with cranberry rice and extra garlic sauce. I love their sweet tea. They make it with tasty secret recipe (okay it isn't that secret, but, it is magical). Try the rose water iced tea. It is amazing (I take mine half sweet half unsweet). You can take your food to go or kick back in their dining room. They also have outdoor seating available. Save room for desert. They offer a small selection from Baklavah Bakery!!!! read more

The food is great, just like at the main Pasha restaurants, but the biggest thing in my opinion is the customer service The men who work there have the best customer service! They give great recommendations & are so patient with special orders. I'm sure they have women who work there who are just as awesome, but all the times I've come here it's only fellas on staff. Customer service is a big selling point for me...after the yummy food of course! read more

No happy. Did an online order and didn't get all my food when I got home. There were multiple items on my receipt that was paid for an not given to us. When ordering on the phone or online, be sure to check they have you all the food you paid for. Not visiting this location anymore. read more

What a nasty food we got today from this location!!! Never had Iranian food this much ugly and nasty. Koobideh kebabs were as dry and black ad beef jerkies and no taste!!! Rice was not cooked, gyro was just tick fatty bread with two slices of meet!! I can not believe it that I saw the food but still got them, maybe just because I thought it is not that workers fault... so,,, we have our trash bag full of Pasha food today!!!! Yeki read more

This review doesn't really reflect Pasha perse' but more of the 3rd party online processor. We ordered our food 20 min before arriving and Pasha had yet to receive it from them. While the food we ordered was very good (as always) the convenience of ordering ahead and having it ready to pick up, was not efficient. The store manager was very nice and processed our order off of our online receipt. Not sure I'll order ahead anymore until then get this fixed. read more

My family and I love Pasha, the other 3 restaurants, in San Antonio. It's hard to find a restaurant with good food choices for my children as well as for the adults. The food is delicious, and the manager was very nice and helpful. I just think it's a little bit overpriced to be an express location. But I like getting more fresh bread, if you ask read more

Gyro was great but we asked if it could be cut and they said they didn't have a knife. But they were cutting the meat with a knife. I was told the Falafel was the best ones there but they had no flavor. All you tasted was nothing. I also had a cucumber salad and that had no flavor. They did even give me a spoon or a fork so that I could eat the salad. I was very disappointed in the service. read more

I'm from Detroit. We have a huge Greek population there. We have an entire area of the City called GreekTown with many great restaurants and bakeries. I'm pretty hard to please when it comes to Mediterranean food but Pasha is great for what it is. Fast, casual dining. The chicken and lamb are seasoned well and the hummus is perfectly creamy. Anytime I'm craving a gyro this is my GoTo. read more

They offer you only rice bases for their bowls with your choice of protein and toppings which are a slim amount in my opinion. I did like the service and how quick it was but I wish they had a vegetable base for customers that are seeking a low carb meal with protein. The recurring major flaw, is the way the restaurant inside was designed. It is beautiful but made with all hard surfaces. Nothing present to absorb sounds. As a result sounds inside magnify to a point our servers have had to bend over or take a knee to gather clients food orders during busy times. I feel like I am ar a big Spurs game with the sound bouncing around. Those at our table have had a hard time to have a conversation with each other at times. The small room up front is designed so sound bouncing off hard surfaces is worst in this room. I have had to ask to be relocated twice from this room due the sound level. The kitchen area in the front do not have doors to abd from the kitcgen to the dinibg rooms. Another design flaw, as a result the seating areas loud sound comes into the kitchen area. I can not imagine how the staff communicate to each other in this work setting.

I am a regular here during the week when Im at work. The staff are always friendly and helpful in recommending different foods to try. I came on a Saturday with my daughters (8 and 11) who have never tried Mediterranean food and can sometimes be picky. They LOVED IT. But they also loved the staff. Paige, Dylan, Maddy and the manager Frederick impressed them so much that daughter wanted to leave them a tip. They went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our meal. My girls also said they want to come back because this is now their favorite place. This place makes family eating time such a pleasure. We'd give more stars if we could. read more

The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful to provide suggestions as to what, and how to, order. Price was average, amount of food served was very good and very flavorful.
