    Chicken Shawarma Plate

If you're in the mood for some good Mediterranean food then I would say that Pasha is the place for you to go! I had opted for the chicken schwarma plate and it was delicious. The vibrant colors of the plate certainly matched the flavor. I had also gotten the rose water iced tea that paired very well with my food. If you have a sweet tooth, they also have a large variety of desserts to satisfy any craving!

Just amazing! The service was top notch, from reception to our server Marli, ready for customizations , and always pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious! One of the best Mediterranean food I've had , specially the juicy and soft chicken kabobs. Yum! Everything we tried on the menu was good. Place is good for kids. Restrooms are very clean. Restaurant is located in a shopping area so lots of parking too .

Recently we went and the guy next to us had been waiting 30 min for his food. ours didn't take quite that long but it was odd because our food was room temp, not hot. Don't really understand that since the meat seems to be circulating right there at the front?

We wanted to try something new since we were visiting the stone oak area, so we decided to try pasha and boy it did not disappoint. The ambiance was lively, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. We ordered the chicken plates, beef tenderloin shish kabob, and the lamb which came out on a sizzling platter. The food was on par with what you would expect from a fancy higher end restaurant, yet the prices were extremely reasonable. Pasha is a must see if you are looking for a healthier alternative in a city full of Tex Mex.

We had high hopes for our first visit, and I want to start by saying the service was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially since we were first-timers. The ambiance looked inviting, though we took our food to go. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. The salads were quite small for the $8 price tag, but that wasn't a dealbreaker. The corn tortillas were a bit soggy but had good flavor. The naan, although oddly placed at the bottom of a brown paper bag, was tasty. The lamb was the highlight--tender and well-seasoned. However, several items really missed the mark. The beef was full of gristle, the lentil soup had barely any lentils, and the most disappointing part was the container of completely burned Brussels sprouts. I actually asked the staff member about them when ordering, and she assured me they were very good. If they're intended to be charred to that degree, perhaps it's just a matter of taste--but for us, it was unpleasant. Our total came to just under $75 for our family of four, and given the quality and quantity of the meal, we didn't feel it was worth the price. While we appreciated the service and effort, the food just didn't suit our preferences, and we don't plan to return.

Loved the food here! The service was quick, friendly and our server knew the menu well - which has a lot of options to choose from. The meat was juicy and full of flavor with large portions. I do wish there was a combo platter that has the chicken kabob, beef koobideh and the beef tenderloin that isn't a "dinner for two" option because adding on a kabob of your liking to a platter was expensive. They do have an extensive selection of desserts; my sister got the Dubai chocolate to go and I had a bite of it ... it was so delicious!

UPDATE 2024: Pasha has several chicken dishes and ALL lamb that is halal! But the REAL update for my review is for the EXCEPTIONAL service we received from Lucy! She was the same individual that served us almost 2 years ago on thanksgiving weekend and she was just as delightful! She's very knowledgeable about the menu and can provide instant recommendations! As usual, this Pasha is more upscale than the one on Wurzbach and much more spacious.

One of my favorite to spots to stop by for lunch. Casual sit down spot with plenty of seating. Menu showcases middle eastern cuisine. You cannot go wrong with the gyro plate. The complimentary naan while you wait for your food is amazing. Try to save room for the tasty desserts.

Arrived here for lunch the other day. We were greeted and immediately seated. Large restaurant with a large menu. For lunch we all kinda stuck to original dishes of a gyro plate and koobideh. We were served complimentary naan and zaatar. Naan was soft clouds of melt in your mouth bread. Our main dishes were beautifully plated. The gyro plate had a nice salad, hummus, and plenty of sliced gyro meat. The gyro meat was dry unfortunately and hummus was good, but needed something on the plate to scoop it with. Maybe an addition of pita?? The koobideh was dry as well and the plate was not served with rice which was odd. It only came with salad and hummus. A misunderstanding on the server's mistake, so he added rice for us at no additional charge. Friendly service. Food was ok

The food was very good, large portions. Lots of seating, and friendly environment. We did speak with the manager (about military discount) and she was very accommodating and nice! If you have a hankering for Mediterranean food, check this out!

This review spans of a year of getting only the Dinner for Two options! My family and I would always get the dinner for two. We always noticed that it has never consistently been the same. We've seen the meat and rice come in a hot container. The cooked vegetables are either whole or cut up. The "salad"varied and our most recent visit the taste was lacking. We've been offered tea and baklava that we were told is included in the past and on our most recent visit, it is no longer included. I'm disappointed of how inconsistent it has been the past year. We've loved the food and consistently came every few months and when we had guest in town. My biggest disappointment is that they no longer include the tea and baklava. I hope they consider bringing it back with the Dinner for Two. It would no longer be "worth" spending $45-49.99 on the Dinner for Two if it is no longer a complete meal.

Monday night dinner was @pasha.grill on 1604. It was pretty busy for a Monday night. Dad had the Lemonade and my husband had the Sweet Rose Tea. Love the complimentary bread and dip. I ordered the Mast-o-khiyar, which is diced cucumber, yogurt, and mint. At other restaurants, it's called cacik. We dipped our bread into this as well. My husband had the Braised Lamb Shank Stew and Greek Salad. Dad and I shared the Lamb T-Bone. Dad enjoyed mostly the rice with the sauce from the stew. Great food!

Our twelve guests ranged in age from 14-79 years, and everyone had a wonderful experience. We began with waters for the table, soft drinks, and cocktails/mocktails (Man Walks into a Bar, Amba No. 5, Don Alberto, Green Shug Collins). Due to our large party, we had booked a chef's tasting experience, which was spectacular. The appetizers were plentiful, flavorful, and unique. Our server, Anissa, did a wonderful job of explaining each dish-- its components, highlights, even suggesting that after finishing the beef dumplings, we stir the oil and yogurt together for an amazing pita dipping sauce. Our meal included four meats-- actually five, considering an off menu chef's creation for our pescatarian guest. It was such an immersive experience, I never took out my phone to capture photos of the food (or our group, sadly). Three desserts topped off the evening. When (not if) we return, we'll certainly request Anissa again. She made the evening a complete delight, even bringing out celebratory candles for our honored guests.

Overall, I'd say most of the people in our group probably would not go back, but I don't necessarily think that was because the food was bad or lacking flavor. I think a lot of us just weren't very accustomed to Mediterranean flavor profiles and this style of dining. Most of us really enjoyed the dips, the meats, and the desserts. Those were definitely the standout parts of the meal for our group. Some of the dishes in between were a little more questionable for us personally -- we tried everything, but there wasn't necessarily one specific dish we completely fell in love with. That being said, the experience itself was amazing. The atmosphere was so cool and unlike anything we had done before. Being served course after course and getting to experience so many different dishes made the meal feel really unique and memorable. All of the staff members who waited on us were absolutely fantastic and so understanding of some of our questioning looks while trying unfamiliar foods. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the experience feel fun and comfortable from start to finish. If you already love Mediterranean food, this place may be right up your alley. I just think it's good to know what kind of flavor profiles to expect before coming, especially if you're newer to this type of cuisine. Overall, we still had a great time there.

It doesn't feel like a strip mall restaurant. It feels intentional. The pastry case alone deserves its own review. Piped butter cookies, rose-dotted squares dusted with cardamom, delicate filled rolls -- it's the kind of display that makes you order dessert before you've even sat down. And then the food. The chicken shawarma bowl is not playing around -- seasoned chicken, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, creamy garlic sauce over a bed of greens, finished with cracked pepper. Every bite is layered and bold. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-fork and just appreciate it. What sets Tripoli's apart isn't just the food or the ambiance. The ambiance was great, everything from the decorative rugs, Arab writing on the wall, tagine pottery and brass crafts were perfectly displayed. The tabbouleh salad was very tasty, it had the right amount of ingredients making it pretty as well as colorful placed in the neat brass metal bowl. Now with the things that require immediate remedial attention: 1. The burger was overrated, overcooked and dry. 2. The chick pea salad lacked chick peas, dressing, onions and feta cheese. 3. The lamb Kofta plate was prepared right however, it was not enough meat for the price and the cream sauce tasted like straight butter with a hint of garlic. The pita bread was lukewarm and looked like it had been unwrapped, quartered and thrown in a microwave for 30 seconds prior to serving it. 4. Drinks Ordered: The Cafe' Arabia was very tasty BUT, I didn't get it until we were almost done with our meal. We ordered drinks when we were first seated so that was a big red flag. My wife also ordered the Moroccan mint teapot and she didn't get it until after I got my coffee. I told the barista/waiter to cancel it when I got my coffee but he said it was also ready for us and could put it in a to-go cup for her. That kind of defeated the whole experience of drinking tea while waiting for our meal. 5. The service was really slow. Took over 15 minutes to get our (tap) waters and 20 minutes for our food when we were the only ones in the restaurant until we had placed our order. 6. The waitress needs some serious people skills and bussing training to know how to serve food and drinks. She touched the tops of the glasses her fingers. She didn't greet us and practically dropped the plates on the table when she brought them out. To add insult to injury, she put the handheld pay device on the table without asking us if we wanted or needed anything else. My kids wanted to try out some desserts, so luckily for us, the nearby HEB has plenty to offer. I had high hopes for this place because of what the owner posted on Instagram and it is so close to our neighborhood. Guess we will have to continue driving further into the city to other Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern restaurants that have better food and service.
