Bottom line: amazing vegan and gluten-free pizza options, but stick to pickup ONLY. DO NOT order delivery under any circumstances. As a vegan with a gluten-free family member, finding a pizza place that does both well is nearly impossible - until we found this spot. The vegan and gluten-free options here are genuinely delicious, which is why we order from here all the time. However, I need to give a serious warning about delivery. Every single time we've tried it, it's been a disaster. We're talking 1-2 hour wait times, which is absolutely ridiculous for pizza. One time they even delivered my order to the wrong address, so I had to wait even longer to get my food. At that point, the pizza isn't even worth it anymore. If you order for PICKUP though, this place is fantastic. The food is ready on time, it's hot and fresh, and you'll actually enjoy your meal. We've learned our lesson and now only do pickup, and we've had a great experience every time. The vegan wings were in fact better eaten fresh--they were crispy and hot, as opposed to steaming in their container and losing that crispiness after a long car ride. My partner had a slice of the (regular) cheesesteak pizza, and I ordered their white vegan pizza & a vegan mac n' cheese stromboli to go. White pizza: once again, top marks. Mac & cheese stromboli: essentially perfect comfort food. I've had a lot of vegan mac & cheese dishes, many disappointing and some quite good, but the hardest (for me) to find has been the true comfort kind. A balance of gooey richness and tender pasta that doesn't have a strong flavor but is also not straight up bland, and gets better as you eat it. But I'd have to say when you add the infamous chicken caesar salad pizza along with a rice and beans pizza not only to your menu but sitting out on the counter to display as some of your top pizzas, that is a huge red flag and I will never be coming back. Loved this sweet spot for Italian food in Middletown. We are vegan and were so delighted that they have a vegan menu. We shared both a vegan broccoli calzone (delicious!) with red sauce on the side, and a wonderful Beyond Meatball sub with vegan cheese. The bread was crunchy and the vegan meat was, well, so good you couldn't tell it wasn't the "real" deal. We also ordered sautéed spinach with garlic, and out came a big ole plate so we inhaled that. Everything they have to offer is incredible. They have the best garlic knot crust of any I've tried. Drove 30 minutes out to try this amazing pizza . It's hard to find a pizzeria that sells good vegan pizza but this deff hit the spot. We ordered a pie that was massive in size (so yes a bit pricey, but worth it). The garlic knot crust was sooo good ! My pop and moms who aren't vegan really enjoyed it as well and didn't notice much difference except obviously texture of the cheese. But unlike other vegan pizzas the cheese melted and it had the same affect as a regular pizza. I cannot believe I didn't find this pizza place sooner! It's super rare to find a pizzeria in NJ with vegan pizza. Hands down the best vegan pizza I have ever had. We love this place!!! We ordered from here a few times now and will continue ordering from here at least once a month! We live too far for delivery, so we got pick up and it is about a 30 min drive. So worth the drive every time! Food was always ready once we got there. Staff is friendly and nice. They have a huge separate vegan menu along with their regular menu, so we ordered a few different things to try each time. For an appetizer we got buffalo wings which were made from seitan and came with buffalo and ranch dressings. They were amazing and delicious. Crispy and tender. We always order these when we come, it's a must! The ranch dressing is soooo good!! We also ordered a side order of fries. They were great. It was a generous amount and were super crispy and tasty. Now for the best part, the pizzas. You can choose from specialty pizzas or make your own. The vegan pizzas are made with violife cheese and it's great! You can choose from a regular pizza, grandma style, or garlic knot crust. They even have gluten free crust too! We get the popular garlic knot crust pizzas every time. You can even get two different types of pizzas on one pie which we loved since it was so hard to choose what to try. We got the chicken bacon ranch pizza and the big boy pizza. Another time we got the buffalo tempeh and spinach and red pepper pizza. My favorite out of the 4 kinds is the chicken bacon ranch. The big boy pizza had fried seitan chicken, bacon and French fries with a homemade sauce. We just tried the banana pie this weekend and it was pretty good. My husband said it's his favorite out of all the ones we tried so far. It had banana peppers, cherry peppers, vegan seitan chicken with ranch dressing. The pizzas are so decked out with toppings and delicious, we usually get full after having one slice. Each pizza is super unique and has a ton of great flavors. When asked if they use nut free cheeses they told me yes and that they make their own homemade sauces. We cannot wait to try more of their vegan pizzas since they are so many great speciality ones on their menu. Lastly, we got a small calzone. We choose to make our own and it had onions, peppers, mushrooms and broccoli. It was absolutely delicious! We loved it! The vegan ricotta is very very good and it came with a side of marina sauce. I've never been here before but this was my boyfriends favorite place before he became vegan(he's been vegan 5 years now). He always raved about it and when they finally came out with the vegan menu, we needed to go. IT WAS AMAZING. For someone who isn't vegan, we ordered half tempeh buffalo chicken and half taco pizza with garlic knot crust and it was THE BEST taco pizza I've ever had. It was massive and one pie got us two adults, three entire meals. The people on the phone were helpful and very kind. We paid 36 dollars which seems steep, but compared to other vegan pizza places, it is right on target ESPECIALLY because we got THREE meals out of it compared to just the one we would get at another pizza place. so i went to pasquale's pizzeria iii today. it was a 35 min drive. so i ordered it when i left because it said through there website it said it would take 20 minutes but when i got there the food wasn't done. we left at 5:30 and got the food at around 6:35. we were really hungry and kinda upset because we thought it was supposed to be 20 min to make not 1 hour. we ordered one vegan garlic knot pizza half mac and cheese half plain and my mom and brother got a garlic knot pie half bacon half plain with extra cheese. but when we got home we realized they never did the garlic knot crust. they were disappointed because it costs extra for the garlic knot and they didn't get it and there's was a little burnt as well. my pizza was very good and for filling. they are a bit pricy but yeah just wanted to share my experience read more

This is a followup review, 6 years later. We had stopped going to Pasquale's some time ago (Back in 2018) when the service and the food seemed to be going a bit down hill. Today we picked up 2 White Slices and 2 Pepperoni. The Pepperoni was fine, but the White Slices are nothing like I remember. I'm going to agree with another review, (The Cheese tastes like the most generic brand you could buy in a super market, and I happen to buy Shoprite brand and it's BETTER than what I had today.) The Ricotta cheese was so bland I could hardly even taste it, and it tasted vaguely of garlic, as if a garlic clove had been shown to the pie before it left and it had memories of it. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm likely to not return permanently. I used to love this place, they always made us feel like family. Back in 2018 that stopped, and the prices went up on products that went down in quality. Now it's just horrible tasting. Even with a whole new crew in there, the food has not improved... I used to say this place was BETTER than any place I'd ever gone to in NYC where I grew up. It "Was" Better... not anymore.... I am truly saddened by this. read more

The pizzas were barely cooked and the buffalo wings did not have any sauce on them they gave a watery concoction that was pink with blue cheese to go with it I assume that's their "buffalo sauce". So undercooked the dough was still a little doughy. When you pulled a slice out of the pie it completely flopped. Very upsetting!
