They look so natural, they're thin and he took his time to manicure the cuticles as well. He also gave me a hand and arm massage, finished with a hot towel. My mom and I came in while on vacation to get our acrylic nails off. The place is very clean and well managed. Our lady managed to get us in within 10 minutes despite the fact they were a little busy. The nail techs were very friendly and had very good customer service. As for the manicure, it could be a little better. The actual polish job is great but she couldn't quite get all the acrylic off because she didn't want to damage my natural nail, so she just filed the remaining pieces down as much as possible. Because of this, there's a little ridge on the half moon area of my nail but it's fine. Overall, I would recommend this nail salon as an affordable and clean place to get your nails done. read more

I don't usually rate harshly, but I would not recommend this nail salon. I went in getting gel nails, but they recommended trying SMS nails which I did. Supposedly they last longer, but after a week and one day, my nails have already been chipping. Terrible service when I was there. They told me my color choices weren't suitable colors, proceeded to tell me about certain treatments I can get for my clammy hands in a condescending way, and when I asked to get my lip and eyebrow waxed, they proceeded to tell me how my eyebrows were too small (again condescending) and other unnecessary comments. I proceeded to tip, but felt as if they pointed out numerous things wrong with myself. They also ONLY filed my nails, did not treat my cuticles, or any other regular nail work and I feel as if it was overall unprofessional, not worth the money, and not worth my time being there. Lastly, an HOUR BEFORE closing a woman missed her appointment and they proceeded not to help her although they had the time with 4 employees there, as I was the only customer. 1st experience - saw the talkative guy, I think he was the manager, for a pedi and gel mani. It took extremely long and the pedi chipped a few days later and manicure was uneven as it was light pink and there weren't enough coats applied. A year later, I came back today for the same service, I had another guy and he hurt me multiple times cutting my nails too short, or digging into them. I let him know and it didn't lighten up. He also almost put a blue color that he picked up randomly on. What did me over was when he entirely forgot my massage. I had to remind him after he put polish on, so needless to say I only got a 10 minute calf rub. I walked out without my manicure. Worst repetitive experience I have had at a salon. read more

Absolutely horrible! I went in for a pedicure and a polish change and to fix 1 of my acrylic nails because I had a wedding that day to go to! The lady didn't even try to make the nail she fixed to look like the rest. My gel polish is cracking. Which has never happened on acrylic nails to me in the past. To sum it all up she then gave me a pedicure that was barely mediocre. And charged me 45 dollars. For what? A color change and a pedicure!!!!! If I got a fill and a pedicure it would of been cheaper! This was my first time here and I have no negative things to say. It wasn't busy today on a Sunday so I was attended to right away. First impressions, the place was very clean, quiet and well-kept. As soon as the tech came over to begin, he was very polite and social, asking me my name and how I was. He said please and thank you throughout the entire service and referred to me by name, which I personally enjoy. He did a great and thorough job and was timely as well. I was in Palm Desert for a few days and decided to beat the heat by getting a pedicure. I just got a regular pedicure for $20, not a bad deal but you get what you pay for. The work the lady did was very average. Her attempt at the foot massage was pretty sad. Her pressure points were way off, it felt more awkward that relaxing. Took my 7 year old daughter and wife to Passion nails for a Holiday family pedicure. The staff was AWESOME! Very friendly and accommodating. We booked our appointments through the yelp app. The owners responded within 2-3 minutes via the app to our request and confirmed our appointment . The massage chairs were amazing, lots of programs to choose from. It was very clean and organized. I personally had Vi Vi, and she was great. The princess pedicure was just perfect for my daughter, and we all enjoyed our experience here very much. I am visiting Palm Desert and decided to get a mani/pedi since I'm on vacation. I found them on yelp based off what was close and open on a Sunday in the summer - I couldn't be happier with Passion Nails! Very nice, open, clean, and quite. Everyone was attentive, kind, and very helpful. I like to do the gel polish and one of the ladies told me they knew which colors of regular polish were the match to the gels - Bonus! No searching and comparing for me. She did a great pedicure, great massage and just as good on the gel manicure. They have the gel polish UV light boxes built into the manicure tables which was a nice touch. They brought us cold waters when we got there and brought nice new magazines. I wish they were closer to home! I would definitely recommend them! I do suggest calling ahead to make an appointment as they seemed to be full. The chair they put me in was not working, so I asked to move to a different chair and the lady was upset and said that her chair was not broken. I then showed her that the chair remote was not lighting up or accepting any buttons I pressed. She then said that she can't help me because the lady she was working on was on her lunch hour. There are no words to describe how angry I am after coming here. I got acrylics and pedicure. The pedicure was great and the guy was very nice. I then went to get my acrylics, TERRIBLE experience. The woman cut my pinky finger so deep that I'm still bleeding (this was 4 days ago). The next day, two of the acrylics were already peeling off! Normally I would have them do my nails again but 1) I am not from Indio and was already 200 miles back home. 2) I would NEVER got back to this place after she cut me so badly. I called them and they refused to do anything so I asked them to have the owner called me. What a rude woman. She kept saying over and over "come back and I'll do it again for free". She refused to understand I lived 200 miles away OR that I was cut terribly. She said "oh it was a small cut not a big deal". Just because it was small doesn't mean that it wasn't deep or extremely painful. She refused to give me my money back. As a business owner, what terrible business ethics. I had very valid points and reasons to be unhappy and she didn't care at all. I went with two other people who also had a horrible experience and will be writing reviews as well.
