Chicken Francese: Two fairly sized tender, juicy chicken cutlets were smothered in Francese sauce. The sauce paired well with the basmati rice and even the table bread (not pictured). I enjoyed the sauce so much I requested an extra cup on the side so there was more to blend with the entrée. The chef made a wise decision to separate the grain from the francese sauce because that would given the rice a mushy texture. Linda's Chocolate Lava Cake: This decadent dessert was truly a masterpiece. It included a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The round chocolate cake was spongy on the outside while warm and moist on the inside. The best part was the warm chocolate pudding filling in the center. It is a win-win if you have the cake myself or if you combine with the ice cream or whipped cream. The whipped topping tastes above and beyond because it was freshly made in house. In addition to being a great meal, the service was on point. Server Kelly and the other staff were very attentive. They continually checked up on us and made sure we were taken care of. The waitress brought us a cocktail menu so we ordered one each only to have her return and say they were out of cocktails we could have beer or wine. Then another woman presumably a manager said we could get cocktails just not the ones on the menu she explained they were out of certain liquors due to a large weekend event (we were there on Wednesday) she attempted to make her own concoctions they were no to our liking. We did not let her know that because she obviously was trying to do her best. Service was very slow again the manager apologized saying they were short staffed. The food was not bad unfortunately they got my wife's order wrong and at one point they brought our food to the wrong table. The manager was very apologetic and you could tell she wanted to make a good impression for the establishment. When we were ready to pay they did not know how to process the gift card saying the person who could do it was not there. They asked that we leave the gift card and would process the payment and call me so I could return to get the gift card with the remaing balance. I obliged and left all my contact info but they never called back. After a few weeks we finally trekked back over only to be told they had no clue what we were talking about. Eventually we got things settled. What was supposed to be a nice evening turned into a nuisance of back and forth driving although it's only 20 minutes away unless we were going there specifically it's 20 minute out of our way. The venue itself has a very nice decor the staff seem friendly. The night was a disappointment & I probably would not go back if it wasn't for the fact that I still have some monies left on the gift certificate.

We were able to make a reservation for the same week--a Saturday evening--for a group of 10. We arrived around 6:30, and while it was quiet at first, the space was bigger than I expected yet still felt cozy and intimate. The crowd wasn't particularly young, but everyone was warm and welcoming. We had our table from early evening through the night until the DJ wrapped up after 1 AM. We brought a cake for our celebration, and the staff kindly stored it for us, then sliced and served it beautifully. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere made the whole night special. We'll definitely be back!

There was a large variety of slices offered. I only problem I had was choosing because I wanted to explore them all. Caprese Slice: This slice is smothered in pesto sauce and topped with feta and chunks of tomato. You will definitely need a fork and knife to finish this wedge. Drink Angry Nonna Slice: This slice is cooked in vodka sauce, topped with pepperoni cups, and drizzled in hot chili oil. While the other slices have an appearance identical to an isosceles triangle, the nonna looks like a scalene triangle. Regardless, it is the taste, not the shape, that matters. Both slices were a home run! They had excellent undercarriage and no flop, which is why they were very crispy. The ratio of sauce was proportioned perfectly and they were loaded with toppings. I was also pleased they each slice was served on a glass plate. The interior has a nice ambiance. A small casual style dining area is off to the left of the pizzeria. The main dining room is located on the right side, where customers can order three course dinners and bring their own bottle of alcohol. Owner Andrew made me feel right at home. Then when we got home, we found that the crust was burnt. The wait happened before too, speed and efficiency is clearly not a priority. The advantage Cousins had with the convenience of being closer than other places is no longer worth it, I'd rather go further away and get properly cooked pizza with prompt service. The sad part is both food and services used to be great.
