Went last night for dinner with family. The place is very close to home and when we got there at like 6:45 dining room was empty, but the bar had people. Our waitress was very friendly she told us that Monday was half price pizza. We ordered a cheese and sausage pan pizza, a pasta entrée, arrancini, and chicken wing appetizer. My son loved the teriyaki wings, the arrancini was just so-so, the pasta had artichoke and tomato-pretty good, but the pizza was OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! We LOVED it. I have no idea why some of the other reviews were not so good. Perfect crust, just the right amount of sauce and tons of cheese. This was only $9.97, once the half off was taken. We order out pizza every week. 1/2 the time with them. I know some personally that tried to schedule a party during a 1/2 price pizza promo. There was nothing stating it as not for large group. Even when it was confirmed it was stated they would honor it. Then they received call that they will not after confirming everything. So wrong! Where is old school customer service. Is one party worth a weekly order from a group of long standing clients? Makes me rethink ordering there again. read more

We've been to this place several times for the last 10 years. It seems since the expansion, the service has really declined. Friendly, but not organized and not enough servers. Plus, just found out that they recently put all high top tables/chairs on the older side of the place. I don't know many people that like to sit on those. Might be a bad idea, since that means less regular tables. Very loud inside since the ceilings are high and open. We went to restaurant last night (for first time in about a year...since last time we went was awful). It took forever just to get bread and soup. When the soup came, it was room temp. It was good and we were all hungry, so we ate it and told the server later. She said she'd turn up the heat. Don't know if that actually happened. Our entrees came pretty fast after the soup (since it took so long to get that). Food was ok. Not that tasty. Had to keep adding salt/pepper. Wish I had other spices to add. My husband had chicken parm and he said the chicken was delicious, but the marinara sauce had no flavor...just pureed tomato sauce. They were out of two of our favorite desserts, which was disappointing. But, what we did have (Nanis Casadetti), was delicious. Don't think we'll be giving this place another chance. There are many other Italian restaurants that are a lot better (even Olive Garden). read more

This place has a fantastic beef and giandiniera pizza. I have ordered many other times, and only had an issue one other time when they forgot to pack a slice of pizza in my to go order. No big deal, it was another excuse to go back and order again, with the owner reimbursing me for their mistake. This Friday I had ordered 6 slices of pizza for pickup. The lady on the phone said she had 2 slices of my favorite pizza, but I would have to wait a half hour for them to prepare another sausage pizza. I had placed my order at 8:10 and came in for pickup at 8:50. After the girl had swiped my card, she had told me I had to wait another 12 minutes for them to prepare my giardiniera pizza. After explaining my conversation with the girl I had placed the order with, a shorter gentleman had walked around the counter and told me that I would have to wait for my order I purchased. I had then told the gentleman that I had waited over the half hour I was originally told. He then became a rude jerk telling me that he was not going to argue with me over pizza. I then told him that this is a horrible way to do business, and I want my money back. Woahhhhhhh, then the shorter- bald headed gentleman started to yell at me as I was standing at the counter. I then asked him if he was the owner, and he said yes, his name is Mario. This was my absolute last time I will attempt to spend money at this business. Mr. Mario needs to treat his customers with respect and not yell "THANK YOU BABE" as they are leaving his place of business. I hope many others had seen how he treats his customers. read more

I wouldn't recommend anyone to use their hard earned money for a meal here. The owner is ignorant and certainly not thankful for the business he has. While the food was average, the service and customer treatment will leave me from never visiting this establishment ever again. DON'T purchase a restaurant.com certificate to use here cause they will tell you the requirements have changed (even though they are clearly printed on the voucher you'll have) the owner did this to us and bargained-we did not receive full value of the certificate we had and being that we'd already eaten we were forced to have to pay more. Customer service needs an overhaul. Saturday night I ordered an Arugula and sausage thin crust pizza for delivery. I have ordered this many times and love the pizza. When I opened the box it smelled burnt and all of the edges were burnt. I called and spoke to the manager who tried to tell me it was well done. He finally said he would send me another one but to return the burnt one. Not a problem. It arrived quickly. I handed the burnt pizza back to the delivery man and asked him to hold on so I could check the new one. His response was"I don't have time you are costing me money". We previously had good experiences at Pasta Mia (food & service). Tonight was not a good experience. There was about 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant section when we entered. It took almost 10 minutes after we were seated by a young host who took our drink orders. The waitress, Amanda, that eventually approached our table, was previously giggling and talking behind the main counter with other servers. When we placed our orders we asked about soups, she quips clam chowder .. she doesn't mention the other soups, that I later learned, are available that night .We asked what came with the ribs, she snips "only fries". In the past we always had a choice given. We asked she go back to the kitchen and ask what our choices are. A while later she comes back and again barks "out of ribs". We had it with her attitude, so we got up and started to leave. As we were walking out the door a thin blond asks us how was our dinner. After she confirmed she was a manager I gave her some examples of the waitress's rude attitude, Amanda overhears and runs over to challenge us with "how was I rude". Maybe the owner may have handled it better, but as I looked over my shoulder, as we exited, the blond and waitress Amanda were laughing and smiling with each other... so much for professionalism and respect in the treatment of your customers. ...by the way, we had a great experience down the street at Savory restaurant. read more

I've been here three or four times now. I feel like the food is not consistent. The first time I was here my meal was great. The fresh bed they served was...well fresh...and hot and soft and Ohhhh so good. I've been there several times since and my meal has not once lived up to the first experience. I've never again been served warm bread, and one of the times the bread was so hard we couldn't eat it. And at the end of our last meal here we noticed the table next to us had oil with their bread...we were never offered oil on any of our visits. I'd say I know to ask next time but it will probably be a long while before we give them another shot. A plus for them is that I think this would be a really good place to host a wedding/bridal shower. The restaurant kind of splits in half so I'm sure they could reserve one half for a party. The food is really really good, and so are the prices. My girlfriend and I usually get fountain drinks, an appetizer and a pizza and without the tip it's like 20 bucks! Can't beat that deal. The problem comes down to the service, and thus the three stars. The waitstaff is your typical snobby Bartlett resident. The food here is good (we usually just get the pizza), and employees are so nice. We love how they redecorated it inside, with the "bar area" on one side and the dining on the other side. We loved it because it was a new place for me and my husband to come and have a drink or two without the kiddos in tow and it's right down the street from us. But....the way they blacked out the windows now is a bit intimidating. It's usually a bit crowded on Friday and Saturday nights, so before when we want to come we kind of look inside as we drive by to see if the bar side is super crowded. If it is, well, we go somewhere else. Now we can't even see inside because they blacked out the windows. Once, and only once, we walked in, it was too crowded and we left to go somewhere else. We don't want to have to walk in everytime we decide we might want to go there. I also noticed they have a new sign on their window....an "Open" sign. Gee, I wonder why..... So, now we go somewhere else for our little time away. read more

While I will admit that the service inside of the restaurant itself is not the best, specialty pizzas and pasta dishes at this joint are fairly good for the area. While some of the pasta dishes are overpriced for what they are, in general, they have some solid Italian food. It is nice to be able to get delivery or dine in without being uncomfortable with the atmosphere. The cheesy beef stuffed pizza is really great. This was almost a 2 Star review but...Marie turned it around. I pre-ordered pizzas for 6 & that was not a problem, we arrived the pizzas were ready. The problem was the lack of service. No drinks, not enough plates or silverware on the table & no waitress in sight. I took plates & silverware from other tables after asking for both & drinks too. I had to go up to the counter & after waiting placed our drink order (only soft drinks & water) there went back to the table & no drinks still. I went back to the counter & saw drinks on a tray when finally got waitress' attention I asked her if she wanted me to carry tray back to table, she finally did. That was the last time we saw her. I was debating on giving a lousy tip, although I cannot do that, when Marie approached the table said the Italian ice everyone ordered was on the house & she apologized for the bad service. The waitress was overwhelmed & a little frazzled which I can understand & Marie just explaining that and offering the free Italian ice turned the visit around. The food here is great and it's close to the office so it's convenient for the lunch hour. BUT every time my coworkers and I come the same young waitress is working the lunch shift and she is the rudest waitress we've ever had. She does not smile, she is not personable and is plain rude, she has no manners especially for someone who works off of tips. We love coming here for lunch but it's an absolute let down when we walk in and see she is working. read more

Nothing special- pretty bland. I am glad to see there are more pleasant people in charge. There was a friendly older lady at the counter. Years ago there used to be an older gentleman, he was unfriendly and actually quite grouchy to the customers. I keep trying to give Pasta Mia a chance, but its just a very average pizza. Horrible service. We ordered three jumbo pizza's for a party and all were flipped upside down upon delivery. When we called, they only offered to send one cheese as a courtesy, stating that they were still edible. We have been going here for years and won't go back. First time at Pasta Mia was 2 years ago. Food was mediocre at best, so was the service. My son's food came 10 to 15 minutes after my wife's and mine. Well, decided to try it again today. Deja vu all over again. Service was extremely poor, food was at best mediocre. Had the Lemon Talapia which was deep fried and put into a "lemon" sauce? It was not good. I will never order from this place again. Their website wouldn't let me place a cc order. I had to make 3 phone calls to actually pay for my order. Then the delivery guy shows up at my house with one pizza, no issue with the fact he only had one pizza although the receipt for my credit card said 2. I have been going to Pasta Mia's for 15 years and I can tell you that they are the best Italian food around. Pete makes most everything from scratch. They are committed to sponsoring the community and worthy causes (angle tree or sports teams) and I love the food and service. My all time favorites are the Linguini and Clam sauce (white) and the Aunt Vera's pasta. I always order delivery, have yet to eat in so this is a delivery review only! Service is generally fast and efficient and I have never had a wrong or messed up order. This may seem a little weird but I love ther potato salad, yeah I said potato salad from a pizza place. It's probably a giant container of store bought stuff but I truly enjoy it as much as homemade! Look at all the negative reviews here and heed all the warnings. DO NOT EAT HERE. My pizza was burned and the the Owner went mental when I informed him that I was not satisfied and I requested a refund. He slammed my pizza on the table after he grabbed a bunch of pieces and threw them back in the box. He denied my refund and also did not replace my pizza. I left the pizza there and lost 17 bucks. Nothing has changed here and they blame you because your not satisfied with a burned pizza and the Owner then blamed the oven and said that's the way pizzas are cooked. Been here with my Girlfriend serveral times and haven't gotten a bad experience yet. Great atmosphere, reasonably priced, good service (though our last waitress was inattentive) and the food is always great everytime we come. Has your Italian beefs and Italian sausage, the usual stuff you would find on the menu. But they have great pasta dishes and the steamed Mussels are excellent. Been going to Past Mia 4 yrs. Last night they gave me a cold pizza, I asked for it to be heated up. After some time, I was told our pizza was given to someone else. Really? With 4 pieces missing? We waited some more 4 them to make another. When we complained to manager, we were told to take our business elsewhere. Really??? That's exactly what I'll do. This place has gone down hill!!! Read all the awful reviews they have gotten. Absolute garbage this place is! The prices on their menu and online are lower than the price they charge. The kids that work there are rude and don't get me started on the management. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We ordered trays of food that showed one price online and on the menu a $20 difference when I arrived to pick it up. I asked for a manager and a kid comes and would not even budge on matching the price, his exact words were "well the menu prices are wrong I don't know what to tell you I can make you something else". He was rude and could care less that we cater from there 4 times a year sometimes more. NEVER AGAIN.
