Everything was epic here. I've eaten here a couple of times before and decide to book a post wedding family celebration here when my son and his wife were here for a few days. 30 people total. Nicole was great to work with and we had a kids table for 11 and 2 adult tables of 9 and 10. We were able to use one of the TVs to show videos and slides. And the food was outstanding. My first experience at The Boss's Signature will definitely not be my last. I came here for a networking event and ended up ordering dinner and staying for a while. Since I read other reviews raving about the vodka cream sauce, I had to try it. I was so glad I did! The sauce tasted smooth, creamy, and homemade with just the right amount of seasoning. The pasta was cooked exactly how I like it, not too soft but al dente perfection. The garlic butter toast was great for dipping in the extra generous helping of sauce. I had a rum and coke, which was closer to clear colored than dark, so they were generous with the rum. The renovations look nice, and the flooring is very unique and felt non-slip. The owners are a lovely couple and very accommodating. I am looking forward to trying more menu items on my next visit. read more

Came here on Mother's Day for dinner for our first visit. They have an amazing cocktail menu and also specialize in martinis. My husband got one of his favorite cocktails, an old fashioned. My father in law got his Martini with olives. I was glad to also see that had Pepsi Zero, as I prefer the "zero" sodas over diet, more closer to the real thing in my opinion. My mother in law got coffee. So the soda I as was a little on the heavy carbonation less syrup, so knowing that's how the machine is I didn't say anything more about it. My mother in laws coffee was old and cold, she asked our server for a fresh cup, he did indeed brew a fresh cup and it was to her liking the second time around. The three of them shared a calamari appetizer which they said was good. Now onto the main dishes!! I ordered one of their signature menu items, the pot roast stroganoff. Served over a bed of al dente fettuccine, and two mini slices of garlic toasted breads. It was truly delicious!! I would definitely recommend this dish and plan to order this again on my next visit. My husband had the chicken Marsala with a side of mash potatoes and vegetable medley of carrots, green beans and broccoli. He too advised his dinner was also delicious. My father in law had the shrimp linguini. He ordered it with extra garlic garlic and also with a side salad (which was a la carte). He said it was a little dry for his liking. My mother in law had the chicken bourbon sandwich. She too said it was just ok, but also found it on the dry side. Everyone was admiring my meal and listened to me rave about how delicious it was. The atmosphere is kind of industrial, bathrooms were clean and fancy with brass accents to include the hand dryer. Prices are reasonable with meals costing in the ball park of $20-30 pp, based on what you order. They have everything from steaks to pasta to pizza, seafood selections and chicken. I had a really good experience so I will return. Hopeful they will last in this town of Bartlett which have seen too many places come and go. read more

We came on a busy night, I get that but to totally forget orders... fail to put shrimp on the pasta, and I never got my food. The food is good ... but to wait hours in a crowded room. Is torture. Our reservation was at 6:15 and we didn't get a hint of food until 7:30. Then it pieced out, some of it not even correct. Hard to say if i recommend this pace or not. I called and let messages 3 times on 3 different days asking about times and reservations for NYE and no one called me back. I even went over there in person on 4:30 on a Tuesday night, with the intention of making reservations for the next day. The tables were not even set up and there was one busy lady running to the bar area that didn't acknowlege me or say " be right with you". This is a hard PASS for me, I instead made reservations at another restaurant in Barlett that picked up the phone on the 3rd ring. Who picks up those messages? Manager? Who knows. read more

Been hearing mixed reviews through multiple channels but the amount of good reviews seemed like a reason to give it a shot. They advertised a Friday fish fry so went there to give it a try. The space is interesting for sure. I thought the seating was a little underwhelming - chairs felt cheap for example. Based on the menu I expected maybe a bit more formality but the space screamed more casual. Fish fry was tasty. Steak sandwich wasn't seasoned well and somewhat tasteless. Drinks were expensive and not good. Felt like they were using mixes for them. Service tried hard. We had the bartender and between serving tables and making drinks - she had her hands full. Felt bad for her. It was busy so that's a good sign for their ability to stick around. But it will be seen if they can really dial in the place and create a great dining experience. read more

Great experience. Not very busy which was concerning at first, however it was a Sunday evening so not surprising. The menu (drinks and food) is extensive. Each of the four of us had something different and we started with the brisket nachos...great choice. The beef stroganoff was very good and a huge portion. Phenominal, I literally created this account just to write a review. My husband and I split a pulled pork sandwich for an appetizer, it tasted a lot closer to a crispy brisket but was still delicious. I got the chicken fetticcini alfredo, the sauce is very butter heavy with really lovely tints of spices. It isn't greasy like you would think something heavy in butter would be. It makes the chicken taste like butter chicken, and somehow tastes differently on everything but is really nice. The only words I can describe is it's absolutely delightful, you feel happy eating it. A friend and I planned a short getaway and selected an Air BNB location in Bartlett, IL. When dinner time came, we considered the recommendations of our host and decided on Boss's Signature. We arrived around 5:30. And there was only one other customer in this newly decorated restaurant that was converted from a BBQ place. The decor is minimalist but clean and crisp. The ambiance is casual, and not much privacy. We had an excellent server who was new but very friendly and professional. We asked a few questions and when she didn't know the answer she told us she would ask someone else. We ordered a Limoncello Mojito which was a bit pricey ($13) but tasted good. My friend and I split a house salad and the server gave us a taste of a dressing she thought we would like. We decided on their made from scratch ranch dressing. Salad was simple but fresh and good. We opted for chicken parm and rotini vodka with chicken. Our food arrived in good time. We both had large servings and ended up taking half of our entrees home, even though both were delicious. I think this restaurant is interesting yet simple and friendly with casual elegance. They have a game room and a special event room as well. Pizza has no sauce flavor, pizza crust was soggy has a really funky throw up smell my guess is it's yeast that didn't finish or was super old, I mean "throw up" smell. Price was $54 for two 12" za's, one cheese one pepperoni because that's the only size they had and onion rings which were was fantastic but how do ya screw up pre made rings. Food was really good. Service was very slow. Ambiance very noisy, and no clue why they would have a separate room for video poker. Pot Roast Stroganoff very good, schnitzel same and ribs good but very small slabs. I hav never seen ribs as small as these but they were delicious. Very small drinks and small wine pours, less than 6 oz. I believe. Our server Nicole was very pleasant and did the best to handle the entire room. Food : all the food we ordered was very good. My party had boss burger, salmon and cheesecake. Will definitely visit again for food. Service : the Day we visited it seemed they were shortstaffed staff and service wasn't the most attentive. it took 20 minutes for the waitress to come and ask for drinks and then after putting in our entrées, it took about 40 minutes. Ambience : inside the place is much smaller than it looks from the outside, but there's probably 20 tables inside, which is pretty decent. Giving them a four star as the food was great and I'm assuming the slow service was an off day . Looks like a big steak but it's 1/2 thick and it's hard to get a good sear on a steak like that and making it medium rare. Got greens beans with the steak and they were overcooked and seasoned with something but could not tell what it was. The fries were fries, nothing special. This was our first visit to the newly remodeled Boss's Signature. There were only 7 people in the restaurant, yet the service was slow. We asked for a drink menu but were told there wasn't one yet so we had no idea what the prices were (there is none online either). It was $12.00 for a house cab which was less than a 3 oz. pour. Sam Adam's winter draft was $7.00. Since everything was ala carte - no bread, salad, or sides included with anything - we shared a $10 house salad and had the Goodfellas stone fired pizza. We are familiar with brick fired pizza and this was burnt and the crust was cardboard. A 3% unannounced charge for using a credit card was added to our bill. It's the perfect little "hidden gem." We were in the neighborhood and drove by The Boss's Signature, so we tried it. WOW, the Food was hot, and the cocktails were amazing. Renee was our knowledgeable server who took such great care of us. I loved the decor and the concept of Prohibition (very clever). Renee also gave us insight into future expansion plans to improve this great place. We will be back since we moved into the neighborhood. Give this place a try for a nice dinner out.
