I usually only come here for their by-the-slice pizza. For $6 (I think that's the price now, it used to be $5) you can get a slice and a can of soda. The slice is huge. I forgot to take a photo but it's probably as big as my head and the crust is thick too. It's not thin like a New York slice. You could definitely share it between two people or save half for later. This most recent time, I asked for a slice but didn't mention the soda. I assumed by asking for a slice, it automatically came with a drink since that's what's advertised. I also assumed he charged me for the deal since the total came out to $6 and something. After I paid, I asked if it came with the can of soda because he didn't say anything about being able to grab one from the fridge. I'm happy he was nice enough to allow me to grab a drink anyway even though he claimed he didn't charge me for it, so thank you! I guess it's my fault for not making it clear I wanted the drink, but I also think he should have asked me if I would like to add that on. If you advertise a slice and drink, I'd think that most customers when asking for the slice, they're asking for what's being advertised and are expecting it to come with the soda. read more

First time at TSP with a friend. They do not have indoor seating and I bought a slice of sausage pizza. The crust (2/5) was too much for my taste and because it was kept heated in the pizza carousel it was too hard. The sauce (3/5) was good, nothing notable about it. There was plenty of cheese (3/5) but again it tasted very average. Sausage (3/5) tasted good, but nothing to write home about. Overall I would probably not go back, I'd take my chances at another place. You get a nice sized slice for $5. read more

I've only ever been twice, and I've only ever gotten a single slice to go (plus a soda), but I've never been disappointed. Maybe the more you ask of them, the more you go, the more you expose yourself to the chance of disappointment. For me? It was pretty dang good! A slice the size of your head, hot and steamy. The treat of a sugary Orange Crush. It's simple, it's unadorned. It's pizza when you need pizza. If this is your go-to for 'za, then maybe you need to reexamine some of your choices. ORDER TYPE: Carry-out MEAL: Dinner MY ORDER EXPERIENCE: As it was a Super Bowl LVI Game Day, my friend and I thought we would order some good pizza from a local place and then he suggested Taylor Street Pizza. We called the store and ordered a medium 14inch regular pizza with jalapeno and onion on it and Mozzarella Sticks as our side. It took almost 30 mins for our pizza to be ready and I went in to pick it up. The restaurant was small, and they had no Dine-in, and it was a pickup, carry-out and delivery but they had few benches outside the restaurant. First, we had the Mozzarella sticks (8) which were hot, and the outer layer was crispy and filled with cheese. It came along with the pizza sauce and the combination of two made the dish delicious. Then we had the pizza which was cut into squares. The size was big for a medium-sized pizza and the pizza tasted bland and was not that great. Even though we had jalapenos in it I still felt like I was eating a cheese pizza and the sides were so hard that I had to leave it behind after every slice. Moreover, I felt like our order was expensive and it was around $32 for just two dishes, and they charged us with $2.50 for each topping which was expensive, and the waiter did not even inform us that it would be an extra charge and he also had less knowledge with the menu and place itself. Overall, my experience was alright and, I will be watchful the next time if I ever order a pizza from this place but at least I am glad that I tried it from a local place. I'm giving it 5 stars for the pizza, 3 stars for some of the Italian dishes. First, the pizza. Huge portion, flavorful, good crust, great toppings. Recommend it by the slice or whole deep dish, you can't go wrong. I also ordered the lasagna, and a few chicken dishes. They were okay but not outstanding. This place is a take out only, so you're going to get great value for the price you pay. I'm just saying stick to the pizza because it's on the name of the place. The food here is absolutely amazing and delicious. The prices are amazing. The staff here are really generous and amazing.

This place can be a hit or miss. I almost always order delivery and always get a one hour time window. If its not 30 minutes early (only has happened 4 times), than its 5 to 10 minutes late. Gotta be careful when you order as well, I ordered my fettuccine Alfredo to be baked in cheese, and a couple of times they failed to do so. Pizza is great one night and terrible on another night, like different cooks are there on different nights or the same cook just gets lucky one night idk. I normally don't leave reviews. However, I'm going to this time because I'm tired of calling places back to inform them that something was wrong with my order. Tonight I for delivery and ordered cheese ravioli with sausage. Instead of allowing us to have regular garlic bread had to take the sticks for which we don't care for. But added a side of garlic bread anyway. I also ordered an Italion Sub and asked to have it toasted. Of course it wasn't. Asked for French Fries with it and was offered the combo. Sub, ff and drink. Delivery came and of course my drink wasn't with my order. I live in the area and have been coming here maybe 2 or 3 times a month. Most times just for a slice of pizza. But it's the best slice of pizza around. Always friendly service. They also have Bosco sticks, which are a childhood memory for me, and they're pretty good, so I get those from time to time. I have had their fries, as well, which are good too. I haven't had any of their other meals here besides the pizza (which I've ordered whole pizzas before too). I like that they have that classic double dough pizza. The dough is soft. I have been here a few times for a quick bite during the lunch hour for a Pizza Slice. The location is convenient and service is speedy. You watch as they carve a hunk of pie from the rotating display. The server wrestles to cut through layers of sauce, sausage and what looks to be a copious amount of fresh hot mozzarella cheese. Taylor Street Pizza is where you go when you want to be reminded of those times in college when you absolutely needed a slice of pizza at 4 AM, and there was only one pizza place in town to go to that was open. I had the pizza with giardinera (sp?) peppers, since they lacked the standard veggie option on the warmer. I'm aware that pizza that is rotating when you get there might not have the freshest flavor, but there wasn't much there in terms of either cheese or tomato flavor - flavors I consider pretty important in a pizza. I've got to say I think they have also upped the quality of the pizza since adding the variety. I discovered this place a few years ago when I started working at the Walgreens right down the little strip. I used to come here every day when I had money and am really close with the employees. It's a great place to come when you're in need of a quick slice. When you need something fast to go, this place is pretty decent. I love the crust of the pizza, it's really delicious. In the Winter, they have an AWESOME chicken noodle soup. I love it! It always warms me up and right now it's that time of year. I hope that they eventually have chili! So disappointed tonight! Went there in the snow storm only to get there and the cheese slices were all dried up at 6:00pm! I asked how long to make new ones and the lady was so rude! Really disappointed with Taylor street pizza in Bartlett. I ordered a deep dish pizza and what I received was a regular thin pizza with high crust. The pizza was as thin as something you get at 7-11. I called as soon as I got home and opened the box they told me there is nothing that they can do all they offered me was 5.00 credit and the pizza cost me 17.00 for a small I asked if I could return it and get the right pizza they said no. Said they are closing in the next 45 min. That's a huge disappointment. Looks like the other competitors will get my buisness and my friends and family buisness from now on. I was given the wrong order (which looked similar to mine). Didn't think I needed to check it 2 seconds after telling the counter person precisely what was ordered. My family has been ordering from here for years now. The first time we had it, we loved it and it is still my favorite pizza takeout place. The prices are reasonable and I can tell that high quality ingredients are used. I order thin crust pizza and it's always so thin and crispy.
