    Red velvet

Accidentally came across this spot after grocery shopping. Pizza is my favorite food group so I gave in. This is probably the first time I was able to get a personal Margherita pizza *SCORE*. I appreciated the option to buy a single pour glass of wine. While Sutter Home is not my go to... I treated myself. I wanted a cannoli but they were out. The young lady at the counter suggested the carrot cake or red velvet as an alternative. When the pizza came out it smelled AHHHMAZING... and the taste matched. The cake wasn't my fave... seemed more food coloring or box cake than a pure red velvet. The atmosphere of the restaurant is chill. A decent amount of seating, dim-ish lighting. I appreciated the wine and beer options places throughout the space. If you didn't know you wanted wine or beer, they let you know.

While traveling I ordered from this Yelp reviewed place. I ordered stuffed shells and a side of meatballs to go . My order was ready when I got there. When I got back to my hotel I unpacked the food which was still hot due to good packaging. Each dish had it's own distinctive red sauce and my bread soaked up any sauce left in the pans. Great flavors, large portions, satisfying meal. The shop is in a strip across from a large mall. There is plenty of parking in front of the store . I will stop here again on my return home.

Yelp fam It's been a crazy year but luckily we have food for comfort. What better food than pizza, it's always there when you need it. Plus I'm a huge TMNT fan, you gotta have some slices to power through the movie marathons. This review goes to a spot I've frequented since college (Towson location). Pasta Mista has always been a great slice. One big call out here is the amount of different slices they offer. Check out the chicken parm slice! They have tons of specialty pizza slices and other menu items. But my go to is the the large pie with pepperoni and basil. This pizza is a go to and is always fresh , fast and tasty. *pro tip- they offer double cutting if you don't want big slices. Overall it's a great spot luckily they have 2 locations one in canton one in towson. If you get a chance check them out for some good pizza. Cheers!

    14 inch cheese pizza

I needed to find a place close to where I was, with fast, cheap lunch. This place was in the same strip mall, so I chose to eat there. It's a casual place with a few tables to sit in, but mostly takeout. Place was clean and set up for COVID times. They offer beer, along with usual drinks if that's something you look for. I was greeted right away and ordered the 14 inch cheese pizza. It was ready in less than 10 minutes and seemed larger than 14 inches. The crust on the edges was a thicker than I like, but crispy and chewy. The rest of the pizza had a thin crust and the sauce had a lot of flavor. It was a good deal for $10.99. I'd order from here again.

I've been hearing about the infamous "spaghetti pizza" for awhile now so I decided to finally try it. First thing I noticed was the slices are huge! I wasn't expecting that. The service was pretty fast so I was in and out. Soon as I got home and took that first bite, I understand stood the hype. It's a perfect combination. I bought 2 slices like I'd usually do at a pizza place, but by the I was 1 1/2 finished I was stuffed so you definitely get your money's worth. I'll definitely be back to get this again and try something else on the menu.

Lasagna, relatively small size for $10.99. Lots of mozzarella

Price point: $ Cheap I stopped by here a couple of times and tried their $6.99 (for 1-topping) 10" individual pizza and $7.99 specialty 10" pizza. It's a simple clean pie, thin crust (not burnt on the bottom) filling, and made fresh to order. They also have a tasty cheese steak which comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and hot peppers. I liked how both items didn't feel heavy or too greasy. However, I tried their pasta dish for the first time tonight-- lasagna $10.99. It was ordered for takeout, came in a small round container with 6" piece of garlic bread (no garlic visible, but buttered). TOO heavy, the ground beef was honestly textured a bit strange (very soft, fine crumbly). I also found the tomato sauce to be the same one they use as pizza sauce. Very plain marinara, I'm not sure if they take it out of a can... Not outstanding and I had semi-high hopes considering I was pleased with the other things I've tried on the menu. If you're looking for fast cheap pretty run-of-the-mill Italian, this is for you.

I had been craving a simple fettucini alfredo but I didn't want to spend much time nor cash. This place had a Shrimp alfredo on penne so I tried that, ordering to take it home. As I waited, a young woman was folding pizza boxes from a stack that were piled on edge on the restaurant floor. Yes, the flap end that forms part of the "lid" and gets tucked into the box (right next to your pizza) was in contact with the floor. Yuck. The food was steaming hot and was a huge portion! It came with an unremarkable slice of Italian bread, buttered with a dried pepper spice. There were about 8-9 medium shrimp. I could barely finish half of the dish. It was just okay, though. Service was okay. There was a ton of walk-ins that night but I won't be back.

There was about 8 of us and we were seated downstairs in the bar area at a high top. Despite there being a reservation, it felt like our party was a last minute thought. The table was cramped and the ambiance of the downstairs bar area was dingy and dimly-lit. Our server, who was also the only bartender, did his best to multi task all night, although his demeanor was not very warm or friendly. I ordered the gluten free version of the Samantha fettuccine. Despite this being the only noodle they don't make in house, I had to pay extra for it. Annoying, but not totally unexpected. What was disappointing was the total price for the dish. It came out to be almost $50.... I believe the pasta is marked as market price due to the inclusion of crab meat but when it arrived, there was barely any in the dish. The flavor of the sauce was good but definitely not worth the price tag. I won't be returning anytime soon.

They did say I could have a seat at the bar while I wait but I opted to wait outside. When my friend arrived we were seated promptly. The restaurant itself is super cute and a cozy, intimate atmosphere. It's dimly lit with beautiful little touches throughout, including "ciao" displayed across the ceiling and a really nice sign in the foyer which makes for a great photo op. For the food we decided to share crispy Brussel sprouts and shrimp bruschetta as an appetizer. Then for my main entree I got Pappardelle Genovese which was pappardelle pasta, caramelized onion- braised beef ragú, Gorgonzola cream drizzle, Parmigiano Reggiano and then I got creme brûlée for dessert. For my drink I went with a Shirley temple. The food was super delish. I especially enjoyed the shrimp bruschetta and my pasta dish. They were not stingy with the meat at all. The server added sparklers to our dessert which was a nice touch and wished us a happy birthday. However, because we orders two desserts he informed us that he could only comp one of them as a bday dessert. We weren't expecting either to be comped so that was nice. I think the pricing was decent, two non alcoholic drinks, three appetizers, two entrees and a dessert for $130 (as of 2026). Something worth mentioning is that sending a dish back may not result in the food being comped. My friend had also ordered the polenta al funghi but didn't like the aftertaste. She told the server who said he would get the manager. The manager said the dishes are made to order and the owners don't want food being comped (I'm summarizing). Mind you no one said anything about taking it off the check. It wasn't a big deal but interesting that no resolution was offered . Like she could've suggested to replace with something else. She basically just said she's not taking it off the check and that's it. Didn't ruin the experience for me but worth mentioning in case you're the type to send things back to the kitchen. Overall, good experience and I would return.
