Great! This was my first visit and It was a little confusing initially walking in with the three different lines, but once you figure out it's super easy to pick up your food or order your food. They no longer have individual slices of pizza so you do have to order an entire pizza. I ordered a sub and the bread was super fresh and all of the sandwich ingredients were delicious! No need for an extensive review here. By far the best cheese pizza in the area. Don't waste your time elsewhere, this is the spot! While I usually get cheese pizza here, I am also a big fan of their pasta options. I have ordered the Chicken Parm, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Tortellini, etc, and have never been disappointed. Tip: don't get the Buffalo Chicken wrap. It's not so good. I still need to try subs, but I'm sure they're great! read more

Great casual Italian bistro! Over 20 years of friendly service and yummy food .... We've loved pizza from here but they have been handling this current time period TERRIBLY. You can only order online and doing so they give you an estimate of when to pick it up- which is laughable at best. Whatever they give you- add an hour. We placed our order, time estimate was 35 mins, got there at 45... our # was 180, they were still only servicing 140. Adjust your online time estimates so they accurately reflect your ridiculous turn around times please. We are long time customers but have decided to find a new haunt. Love the pizza! I find this to be great whether it is a cheese pizza or one of the specialty pizzas. The restaurant isn't huge but has enough tables to find a seat unless it is super busy time. The pizza sauce isn't sweet. The crust is crispy but not crunchy. I will come back again!! read more

Solid 'za! Pasta Mista is a Towson University pizza institution. My buddies who went to Towson are obsessed with this place - I think at one point there may have even been talks of a Pasta Mista tatoo... like that level of obsession. So naturally, on a road trip down to DC Pasta Mista was a must-do for lunch. After hearing all of the Pasta Mista hype for several years I am pleased to report that in my opinion it is for sure worth the hype. The variety of pizza is insane. I went in thinking I'd go with plain (my usual) and instantly change my mind within 1 second of being inside. They have everything from salad pizza to meat stuffed pizza and even spaghetti pizza (my Pasta Mista crazed friends are partial to the stuffed pizza). And of course, if you aren't feeling pizza there are plenty of other things to choose from like entrees, sandwiches and salads. I went with a chicken parm slice. One slice was filling and the perfect size for lunch. They did not skimp out with the chicken and the slice was basically covered in lots of yummy breaded chicken. Pro-tip is to get a side of red sauce for dipping, the Pasta Mista veterans did this and it was definitely the move. So why 4? While this pizza was no doubt tasty, it just couldn't stack up to a classic NY slice. The dough was a little thick and chewy, not super flavorful. But maybe that's just me - I prefer my dough thin, crunchy and salty. And the cheese could have been a lil more melted. But still a top notch pizza experience, and I would certainly never turn down a slice if I found myself in the area. read more

Family favorite! Always polite staff and pizza is delish. It can get crowded and not a lot of seating but it does not deter us from heading over for a great pie. My husband likes the lasagna and my kids the fries. Sometimes the order time is off for to go and things are not as hot as we would like but still a must for us and in the end, always a thumbs up! read more

I used to come here on the regular. It was pretty good. The crust is crunchy until it gets to the edges. Airy at the end. The ingredients are of good quality. The people here care about their pizza. They add black pepper and oregano onto their Margherita pizzas which is a nice touch. The only criticism I have is that the Margherita Pizzas have sliced tomatoes on them by default, but I cannot blame them for the Neapolitan owners of this establishment aimed to cater to an American palate to increase profit. Stopped by here for a late lunch - ordered two slices of pizza and a Penne Vodka. The food came out quickly and hit the spot! Hello again So I love pizza. I love good large slices. Deep dish or thin. So as you walk in the place is small not cramped but small. But I love it gives a closeness vibe when everywhere else is far away and yelling, and we'll like they don't want you one day turn to your right and say hello. So two cashiers friendly the pizza behind the glass is very eye catchy. Bathroom for male and female because there's only one both can use it. This is something I don't see alot. The waiting space is very small like your afraid to bump into someone. And when that happens you have people that don't where to stand. But it's good because when they call your number even those who act deaf can hear it. I love the speed but at the same time it could be faster. Just wanted to update that I am still loving my classic Cheese Pizza order from this location! They have so many options but literally have not found a better slice of cheese in Maryland just yet. I tried out a side order of the meatballs that they have on the menu, instead of our normal mozz sticks (which are incredible). The meatballs were delicious and the sauce/seasoning was great too. Pasta Mista was one of my favorites for years in the area but the service has become increasingly worse recently. I received a pizza that looked like this and the owner blamed me, and shamed me in front of the entire staff and other customers. I still had to pay full price, and on top of that, the wait was MUCH longer than they had told me over the phone. Pizza by the Slice!!! Better still, NY Style Pizza by the slice. Pasta Mista, I've eaten here several times in the past, and really enjoy their pizza, which you can get by the slice!! There are about 15 different varieties of pizza available by the slice. There are no conveyor belts pizzas here, just old fashioned Pizza Oven pizzas, so the crust gets a nice crispy chewy texture. Today I enjoyed two different slices of pizza that I have not had in the past. I tried their Sicilian pizza that has a crust with a great chew and crunch along with a wonderful tomato sauce topped with a nice healthy amount of mozzarella. Also I had a slice of their Murillo (mushrooms, banana peppers, & onions) a sauce-less pizza with wonderful flavor (see pic). I had intended on eating only half of each slice as I am trying to watch my weight.... well that didn't work out, as I ended up eating both slices....and if I keep that up, I will be able to watch my weight in a different manner (looking at my belly sticking out)....LOL!!!! Both slices were awesome, hot crispy, and chewy, with lots of yummy stringy melty cheese. The banana peppers on the Murillo added just the right amount of zing. You gotta try this one, it is da bomb!!! Good counter service, authentic Italian atmosphere (Italian radio & service personnel all jabbering in Italian with heavy accents when speaking English...LOL!!!). Bottomless Fountain Coke products (coke zero) for those dinning in. Sandwiches, subs, salads, and pasta are all available as well, but I've only indulged in the pizza!!! While not the best, this place is more than good enough for me to keep coming back when I'm in the area. read more

Take this away with your order: good pizza with some flavors, and they have other yummy stuff on the menu, too! We ordered a Grande slice and a three cheese slice, as well as an order of Gnocchi with Pesto and a Bocelli salad. The gnocchi came with some garlic bread which was decent (although not OMG-amazing). The gnocchi was a perfect amount of food for 2 people. We had it for lunch the next day and just sampled it when we bought it. The pizza was great because the varieties that are best with a more pan crust style were made that way, and the ones that work best with a thinner crust (like the 3 cheese) were made that way. It's better than some places that just stick with one kind of crust no matter what. The salad was good, and I like that the feta and salad dressing were on the side so you could add as much or as little as you wanted. As far as the olives that are included . . . there were 2 in the whole container. The salad is a good size for 2 as a side, or for one as a main. It was tasty, but not the most original salad out there. We had to take our food to go because of a lack of tables, but there are places to sit. read more
