Came here for Mother's Day and had a reservation for 6 people. It was busy, but everything was mostly great. The ambiance (to me) is a mix of classic and modern Italian decor. They prepped our table quickly and we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive, although they let us know the kitchen was behind so the more prepared to order we were, the better. Everyone enjoyed their food, with the Pesto Gorgonzola and Chicken Saltimbocca being the favorites. My mom enjoyed the Tiramisu as well. It was a little awkward at the end to have everything on our table cleared while we were still seated (not by our server). It felt like they were wanting to turn the tables over for the next guests, which I think could be done without it being so obvious. We came for early dinner at 3pm, so I assume they were prepping for the main dinner rush, but there weren't people waiting for tables when we left. Overall though, a good experience and we've had several meals here. It was our first time in a while, so we'll be back sooner than later.

Pasta Primavera has been our go to for local Italian food for several years. My MIL picked it for her birthday dinner recently, and as always, they did not disappoint! My husband always has their pesto Gorgonzola with chicken, and I always have my personal favorite: Carbonara. Always delicious! Our service is always friendly and welcoming, and I love that they circle around with delicious warm bread while you wait for your meal. The restaurant is quiet with cute Italian decor throughout, and with the kids love the free jelly beans that they know are waiting for them on our way out. If you're looking for quick, delicious Italian food, go to Pasta Primavera!

So glad we ate there last night, 2 February 2025. It had been 25+ years since we'd been there since no longer live in the east bay and their San Mateo branch closed many years ago. Reviews both on Yelp and Google were very mixed with either love it or hate it. Very glad I went with my gut feelings. Minestrone as starter was good; not great. The mains of chicken cacciatore for me and pasta Bolognese for my wife were both excellent! My wife liked my cacciatore better than her Bolognese but I thought they both rocked. I didn't catch our male server's name but he was also great and attentive without being too visible. Super glad we ate at Pasta Primavera after soooo many years.

    Dinner Rolls !

Out to dinner with my sister. There was only one waiter. The restaurant filled up fast with still only one waiter. Unfortunately, we were quickly served our appetizer and dinner order with no dinner rolls and butter. Our drinks were never refreshed and parmesan cheese was only given upon request. It was very difficult to get the waiter attention but I was finally able to order a dinner meal to go. When the order to go came, I checked the bag No Dinner Roll. I requested the dinner roll and also requested the 2 rolls that were not receive with our eat-in meals. The waiter seemed annoyed but took the "to go" bag and returned it quickly. I assumed the dinner rolls were received and we paid a left. The following picture shows the rolls I received in the "to go" bag. Disgusting !

The portions are huge and perfect for sharing with friends or family. The servers were very accommodating and checked on us often while even suggesting a few things from the menu that we might like. The pesto Gorgonzola was so delicious! It was creamy and savory with the perfect amount of flavor. Definitely a great spot to eat if you are looking to enjoy a big meal with the people you love. Very affordable too!

Has some of my favorite local Italian food. They redid the interior some years back and it looks very classy inside. It can get a little loud in the dining room which is why I'll usually just order pick up but we went there last Friday night to dine in and had a wonderful date. The butternut squash ravioli is one of the most amazing dishes I've ever had, been ordering it since I was a kid.

Blue neon arches, a huge underwater mural, plush chairs and low tables along the back wall. Worth the detour. Chris was working the bar on his second day and greeted us like a regular. I skipped my usual Manhattan and went with the Smoke Break, bourbon with bitters, smoke and black cherry. He nailed it. That is the one I would order again. Kudos to Chris for making the smoke linger and make the drink taste fantastic. I had this one in Oregon and it was cool but Chris did a better job with his method that really did serious justice to the name. My wife wanted the Cucumber Cooler, but they were out of cucumber. She pivoted to Sauvignon Blanc, and they were out of that too. The wine list runs four whites and four reds, so there is not much room to maneuver if the cocktails are not your thing. Chris read the situation, offered up a Paper Airplane since she wanted something refreshing, and put it on the house. Classic good bartending. It was louder than expected for how few people were in the room. On a Saturday with a DJ, music and dancing, I would guess the volume gets close to a rave. Go Tuesday or Wednesday if you want to hear the person across from you, and you will probably catch them fully stocked. My guess is weekends clean them out. Cocktails run 16 to 18 dollars. There is also a 300 dollar tequila and cognac number called La Maria served in a glass rimmed with gold dust, if you have something to celebrate. Happy hour is Tuesday through Friday, 3 to 5. They are on the ground floor of the Waymark apartments at 121 Pringle Ave with a small patio out front and heaters. Great spot to hang out and talk with friends, and a good pre dinner or post dinner stop rather than a destination for the whole night. When those doors shut you are transported somewhere neat. I would go again.

You might want to get here early because it fills up quick and has limited tables available. Clean and sleek design with an efficient kitchen and staff. I ordered the majestic which consists of braised spare rib with a sauce, carrots and mashed potatoes. Our waitress was pleased when I gave her the order because she knew it was impossible to have a negative review on this establishment when you eat this dish. Outstanding quality, freshness and taste. We also ordered the fried rice with sirloin and French omelet. The chef must have spent a season in Paris because the omelet was textbook French, impressive. The sirloin was good too but my wife didnt really care for the rice. I liked the rice but it wouldn't hurt if they gave a steamed rice option. Next time we'll request that instead for a 10/10 dish. We also had the crown drink and the garden of Versailles. Both were worth trying if you come here. The presentation for the crown drink had every neighboring table turning their heads and ordering one for themselves. Our wonderful waitress suggested the drink and also got elated when we did because she knew we were gonna leave with all smiles. I believe they're owned by Lapisara Eatery which is also a well-known spot in SF. I originally wanted some classic brunch items, but their étouffée and the majestic sounded really good. Both dishes were soo yummy. The étouffée had a good amount of crab and crawfish, and it was hearty and comforting. The majestic was THE STAR. A little after they set the dish down, the meat literally just slipped off the bone. The short rib had a nice crust on the outside and was cooked perfectly inside. It was so good. My only complaint was how little mashed potatoes we got. Other pictures seem to have gotten a healthy scoop, but we got what looked like a a smear of mashed potatoes. Considering the price I wish they added a bit more. Regardless, our meal was amazing. Everyone was so kind and the inside was very trendy. I loved it!
