Carrot Head (mezcal, ginger, carrot and lime)

Fun cocktail bar that's dog-friendly. The décor is quite swanky and it is perfect for groups. Their cocktails are STRONG. I enjoyed the carrot head, which was a mezcal-based drink with carrot, ginger, and lime. It had a hint of the other flavors and was very mezcal-forward. A good place to have some sips before hopping on BART to the city or barhopping around Walnut Creek.

Was in Walnut Creek for the weekend and was looking for a chill place to grab a cocktail. Luna Sea Lounge did not disappoint! Kind of in the business district, for lack of a better word, you would never know it is here. Walking in, I immediately liked the music. There was a DJ playing cool electronica vibes. The entire wall along the back has an underwater scene and the cocktail bar has plenty of seating. Our cocktail waitress was attentive and made a killer drink! I got the Syndicate cocktail described as containing Luna Sea Vodka | Pineapple | Serrano | Citrus. It was refreshing and delicious! Great spot for a date night or if you just want to chill with friends and experience fun cocktails in a classy yet eclectic ambiance.

I visited LUNA SEA Lounge during the Christmas holiday season with my daughter who was visiting from Los Angeles. I love the clever play on words in the name--LUNA SEA, aka lunacy . The lounge has a sultry, speakeasy-style decor with a chill and welcoming vibe. The cocktails are trendy with great presentation, and it's a really nice place to enjoy a drink and have good conversation. The service was great.

Really cute spot in an unexpected location! Small intimate lounge with vibey lighting and decor- the DJ in a Saturday night was a welcome addition. They feature their own vodka here, and many of the signature cocktails obviously are vodka drinks but they have a selection of everything. We didn't end up asking what the rotating bites were as it seemed they might not have a kitchen. Drinks were great and service was too!

What a cute bar!! I loved the ambience and it's perfect to catch up with drinks. The menu isn't too extensive but the bartenders are very knowledgeable if you're craving something else. I believe they only have their own vodka to pour so something to keep in mind. Prices are a lil high. Kept it safe and ordered a raspberry lemon drop while my friend ordered the ube cocktail - it was delicious so I would prob order that next time.

The vibe at this bar was so chill. It's a very cozy environment with decent seating for the space. The staff were friendly and easily available. The only downside is there wasn't any food the day I went. The drinks taste great and look so beautiful if you get a foam drink there is writing on top but it does take awhile to get those drinks.

I stopped by to get a picture printed drink. Its a small cozy bar it gives date night. I was id and welcomed in. The bartenders are really nice. I ordered a espresso martini you scan the qr and upload the picture and the do the magic. The drink was great and the idea is really cute.

Located next to the Waymark in Walnut Creek and not right downtown (kind of behind the bart station) is this cute quaint bar. Dim lighting and good playlist with soft R&B so you can still have a conversation. Most patrons seemed to be couples or on dates- kinda romantic!! Later a house/techno DJ did play and it got a bit too loud for to still converse. It is a very small and narrow space so seating is limited. The blue velvet chairs are classy (but alittle flimsy- one of ours was broken) and the dark ambiance totally gives it a speakeasy vibe. The decor is dark and mysterious like the sea and they give you a backdrop to the artwork in the menu description so read it! There is a discount for law enforcement and health professionals which is good bc the drinks are $16-18 so it's a bit pricey. We didn't order food but saw they offered small bar bites. Favorite part: You must try the QR code to print your own custom drink float!!! Tried 3 drinks and all were yummy!! They have their own vodka brand. Pretty cool! Is there a happy hour?

A tiny little bar tucked into a random corner of Walnut Creek. There's not much parking and all of it is paid. The inside of the bar is pretty nice and simple. The menu isn't too extensive, but there's some decent drinks. Seems like they're focused on vodka centric drinks - they have their own Luna Sea Vodka. My favorite thing about this bar is that you can use a free app to upload a picture that can get printed onto certain drinks. Can definitely have some fun with that!!

Really great drinks!!! Small quaint place near the Walnut Creek BART location. As a result, the meters are only one hour and they go til 8pm so I ended up parking at BART and walking over. What I didn't know from the other Yelp reviews is that there is really no food options. They had hummus with pita chips or chips and salsa. That's it. For me, I enjoy more finger foods for my happy hour and we left to go somewhere else for more food and drinks. We did enjoy the drinks and the chips/hummus. The Confidential - very good. The Smoke Break - amazingly good. For Happy Hour from 3-5pm the website said $3 off but we received $2 off our drinks. Not sure if that's a change or if it was the drinks we chose or what.

Very cute place. My husband and I decided to add this lounge to our bar hopping adventure last night and we were not disappointed. The inside theme has an underwater speakeasy feel. All drinks are available to order at the bar and it's open seating. They have a variety of drinks on the menu to choose from and certain special ones with foam have the ability for patrons to print any photo of their liking to it. I really wanted to try that but the drink I wanted didn't have any foam. The bar was decorated Halloween style and it was fitting for the season. The music playing ranged from hip hop, alternative, and some EDM. It wasn't packed for a Saturday night which was surprising but good for us cause we didn't have to wait. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area so it's more on the quiet side. Solid lounge, will come again!

Very vibey bar with a speakeasy vibe. Drinks are good and well made. I actually see myself coming back here when I want to go on a night out for drinks with my friends. A lil bit away from Main Street, but worth the visit

Boring, full of lame people. The drinks sucked. Was not a speakeasy at all. People in their 30's that peaked in high school.

Great drinks and great vibe cocktail lounge. The place is small so if a large group come it gets crowded quick.

Fantastic drink. My friend tasted mine and ordered the same. The selection is the draw here. Whiskey lines the entire back wall, the rarer bottles sit behind wire-mesh locked cabinets, and there is a deep bench of tequila, beer on tap, and wine to round things out. One look at the shelves tells you they have the base for any drink you want. We split the Margherita flatbread, pesto, fresh mozzarella, and blistered cherry tomatoes, and it hit the spot as a drinking snack. The menu goes deeper than expected for a bar, with sliders, naan tacos, and charcuterie if you show up hungry. Service was good considering the staff-to-crowd ratio. Sevan stayed attentive the whole time and clearly knows his stuff. The vibe is chill and conversation-friendly, not too loud for the size of the room, with a bank of TVs toward the back if you want to catch a game. Logistics are easy. The bar sits a short walk from Pleasant Hill BART and parking in the area was no trouble. I've been a few times before and this visit confirmed why I keep coming back. For a high quality cocktail in the East Bay, this is the spot.
