Great job! We had a family gathering and ordered catering pick up after stopping in at their restaurant. The gal was very helpful as was the chef. We ordered Spinach and Cheese ravioli with pesto and marinara sauce, meat lasagna, penne siricusa. All were delicious! It came with their bread.... YUM! Everyone was very Impressed. We will definitely go back and just go for dinner sometime in the restaurant. I will also be ordering when I need to provide a meal to someone in need or sick. read more

Came here for lunch and there was no wait. Service was good but I was not thrilled with my food. My seafood was not as fresh as would have I like. The bread was good and my wife's pasta and meat sauce was actually very, very tasty. Need to try something different next time and hopefully it will change my rating, because I really want to like this place. It is small but cozy and this is random but I like how they enclosed the bathroom door entrance so that if you sit at the table next to the rest room you are actually separated by the fake wall enclosing the bathroom, very good idea! read more

Wow!!! Had a great meal last night at the Pastas Pronto location on Coffee Road. We had been given a gift certificate so we used it to celebrate a birthday. We ordered two of the polenta appetizers for the five of us and had to restrain from licking the plate because the sauce was to die for. We also used the excess sauce with the delicious hot rolls that are included with the meals. We all enjoyed a variety of entrees. The servings were generous enough so that we were able to take some home. The service was outstanding. Can't wait to return. read more

Came here for take out after a friend posted on Facebook that it was yummy. I ordered the Pesto Pollo. The staff was friendly and my order came out pretty fast. As I opened the food I found a nice amount of pasta swimming in pesto sauce. I thought it was too much sauce. Until I tasted it. Now I know why they give you so much delicious focaccia. It's for dipping in that delicious sauce!! One of the best pestos I've ever had. Just enough garlic, salt and creaminess. Chicken was cooked perfectly though it was a bit hard to find in all that yummy pesto. I will be back. No doubt. Highly recommend. read more

Ive been to this location once. The other location once. We've had lovely meals at both. On the occassion we dined at this location the mural outsiude was being painted. It was finished by the time we came back out. It was gorgeous! I took a photo and instagramed it to Modesto View who reposted it. (Which is a good thing as a few thousand people follow Modesto View on their instagram alone.) I am grateful to any business that goes the extra step to beautify the town. I had the cheese ravioli with creamy pesto sauce. It was perfection. So delicious. I may have licked my plagte clean :) My boyfriend had the Timbalo and loved it. My daughter had A chicken salad and liked it alot as well. We are very big fans of this restaurant. We love the food. We will be back again and again. It was recommended to us and now we recommend it as well. The only thing I could change is the A/C. Everyone else thought it was nice inside, but I get very hot very quick so its hard for me to tell if its too hot inside or its just me. I do like to feel a blast of cold air during summer. Too bad there is no room to eat outside next to the mural. Its really beautiful. Yummy pasta as always! read more

If it was possible to leave no stars I would. It may have been a fluke as this is the first time we have eaten here but it will also be our last. Out of three entrées, one had a hair in the sauce and the other had a chicken bone still in it, that if my two year old had been eating it would have easily choked him. On top of this, the food was over priced, portions sizes small, service was lacking as our waitress only came to our table once in a 45 minute period which was immediately after receiving our food. Unfortunately our first and last experience at this restaurant was less than enjoyable, and despite the discoveries we found in our dishes I didn't feel the compensation made was appropriate. I hope for our sake and that of others that this was a fluke experience, however me and my family will not be eating here again. read more

My most frequently recommended Italian place in Modesto! Yes, it looks a little sketch from the outside. Yes, it is small and has limited hours. Besides these two points, it knocks everything out of the water - especially chain restaurants like OG or JC. The service is top notch and you never have to wait for anything. The food tastes fresh - not overly processed or from a freezer. Best of all: everything comes out piping hot! read more

I was very disappointed in our meal. I called in two meals to go, the chicken marsala and a Past Primavera. I do have to say the chicken breast was very tender. There was a little marsala sauce and just ok n flavor. The mashed potatoes were so watery they had no flavor or mouth feel. My mom's pasta Primavera was the biggest let down. The bow tie pasta was sitting in a Romano tomato sauce with a scattering of over steamed veggies on top. It was not pleasing to the eye as most italian dishes are and the flavor was very bland. The flavor was as if they used cambells tomato soup with cream and a little bit of Romano cheese. I do have to say the young lady behind the counter was very friendly. Food is good but the owner apparently thinks low rent is the top factor in his operation! Both H street and Coffee locations are awful! Coffee Rd has terrible ingress and ingress and difficult parking! Are the prices high to make up for small crowds? Sorry the food doesn't make up for it! read more

This is the best Italian food I have had in Modesto. The bread is on point! Lasagna tastes homemade and always comes out hot. Delicious!

My wife and I recently ate dinner here on a Saturday night and were disappointed with their service. We were offered more bread before we got our food and we said yes, then had to ask three times for it because the waiter forgot and so did the other waitress. By the time we actually got the bread we were done eating and our food was cold. We asked for lemons with the water and they forgot that too, and took forever to give us our bill as well. What frustrated us was that the workers in the kitchen were being very loud and our waiter and waitress kept disappearing back into the kitchen. Need to be more focused on keeping customers happy. *Good food gets them the second star. read more

Pros: This restaurant was very easy to the eye in terms of decor. The bread was outstanding which for me when ever I have Italian is always the first impression. I ordered the cheese ravioli. Cons: The actual ravioli was a little to big for my taste. And the Alfredo sauce was too thick for me. There was too much pepper in the sauce which overpowered everything else. read more

Its ok, but their food is not very authentic tasting. The sauces are not horrible , but there is almost Hispanic zest to it. This place is probably my least favorite Italian restaurant in town. Their bread is good though and the service is satisfactory. 2 stars from my family. read more
