    Catfish etouffe

Ordered online for pickup. The food was just okay, but way overpriced for what you get. Catfish etouffe needed more seasoning. Hush puppies and shrimp were delicious, but an additional $8 for four small shrimp is ridiculous.

Customer service was great, food is always delicious and the restaurant was clean and orderly. Also ordered the sampler of the gumbos as well.

Catfish and Shrimp platter is served with fresh fries and coleslaw with a lemon wedge. The fish is fresh and the shrimp are delicious. Only downside is there are no hush puppies served in the platter. Maybe an à la cart add on. The portions are amazing and excellent for a seafood lover! The batter is perfect and light with a great crunch and flavour. This place is a must try for anyone who is visiting this area in travel and is looking for a true service in southern hospitality with seafood. A hidden gem that only the locals know about and now you will be surprised by this amazing restaurant too! Plus there is a very cute Cat Artwork on display in this place. So adorable!

Cup of Chicken & Sausage Gumbo

Seated immediately. There was a New Orleans type theme decor. Our server Megan was outstanding, very helpful and friendly. This was our daytime here so they gave us 6 samples of their gumbo type dishes. I like a couple of them but didn't care for a few. I really liked the chicken and sausage gumbo, my wife liked the red beans and rice. My wife ordered a bowl of the red beans and rice and an order of Cajun fries. I got a small fish, oysters, and shrimp combo and a cup of the chicken and sausage gumbo. We both really enjoyed our meals. I would order any of those again. I would eat here again!

    Chicken Alfredo Pasta

My wife and I stopped by The Lost Cajun during the SEC Tournament, and we were glad we did. It's a small place, but the food was excellent. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo Pasta and my wife had the Shrimp Stir Fry. Both dishes were delicious, flavorful, and well seasoned. I asked our waitress if the kitchen could tone down the spice level for my dish, and they delivered perfectly. The flavors were still great without being too spicy. We left the game early and arrived before the big crowd, which worked out well for us. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Greenville.

    Cajun wings

This place is themed as if some one from New Orleans moved to Greenville. Lots of Marco gras and other Nola paraphernalia all around. The food was really good and there were quite a few things I wanted to try but ended up settling on the Cajun wings and red beans and rice. Cajun wings are their take on buffalo wings but they have a different type of sauce. Slightly tangy and slightly spicy. The wings were their take right size, not those giant oversized ones you get at some restaurants. Overall quite tasty. Red beans and rice was pretty standard. Small chunks of sausage in the bowl with red beans and a scoop of rice in the middle. My server was attentive, quick, and friendly.

    VooDoo Pasta

This is a chain restaurant serving mediocre Cajun food. Concept is good, atmosphere is OK. I had the VooDoo Pasta and it was listed as spicy on the menu, however it wasn't spicy or flavorful at all. I had to use a lot of their seasoning salt and Tabasco to get it to have any flavor at all. I sat at the bar and the service was quick, friendly, and efficient.

    4 Traditional Beignets

Wonderful! Quick, friendly service, fun atmosphere and delicious food! Told the waitress it was our first visit and she brought us a flight of the Cajun favorites to try. We ordered gator bites for our appetizer. They were crispy and delicious with a great spicy dipping sauce. Entrees were the seafood gumbo which was hearty and delicious, and the half zydeco shrimp po' boy with a cup of crawfish Etouffee which was divine. We had the traditional beignets for desert. Wonderful experience!

Fried Zydecko Shrimp with Spicy Cajun Sauce Po Boy
    Paul M.

Delicious Cajun food in Greenville? Yes!!! Came by for a late lunch. Ordered the Fried Zydecko Shrimp with Spicy Cajun Sauce Po Boy. Had a nice spice level and the batter in the fried shrimp was crispy and had a real good flavor. Sandwich bread was fresh and toasted. Paid $2 more for Cajun fries and that was a good deal. Server was friendly and food came out quickly. Inside is decorated well to a Louisiana theme and it all works well. Will save room for desert next time!

Got the jambalaya with the blackberry cider which was a great combo. Love the atmosphere and the staff who were super friendly. The portions are perfect and the prices as well. So happy I stopped here for lunch . Would definitely come again and highly recommend!

Good seafood with Louisiana flair. Not a good place for takeout as the fried will be soggy by the time it gets home.

The experience here was interesting. This must've been a seafood restaurant prior, because as we…read morewalked up there was a pirate on the patio which threw me off. I had to make sure we were entering the right business. Inside, there is plenty more fish, crab, etc. decor to confirm my previous statement. When we walked in, you could hear someone over in the hibachi area. After waiting a few minutes and not seeing anyone, I popped my head over into the hibachi room and a cook walked out to get someone for us which was helpful. We were going for sushi and when asked if we wanted a booth or table, I said booth yet we were sat at a table. The girl who helped us was very kind and polite. We were going back and forth about what to order. When our rolls came, I asked for some sauces which weren't brought out right away so I couldn't eat until she came back and I had to ask again. We weren't given any napkins when seated or when the food was brought, and we weren't asked if our food was good until the end which was counterproductive. Overall, the sushi was decent. My spicy tuna roll had tempura flakes in it which was just strange. Filler? I'm not a fan of that part and not sure why that would be in there (this isn't normal for a spicy tuna roll). The Crazy Roll states on the menu it has two shrimp tempura pieces in it which is not true. There was only one. While we were eating, a man had mopped the restrooms but here is the kicker..... he then moved into the dining area without changing the water. Very interesting visit. I have mixed emotions about this place.

I visited here on a Saturday evening with my friends. I was confused by the interior and exterior…read morebeing seafood themed until I saw the menu. What a strange combination, but if the menu works for the kitchen, I shouldn't complain. We opted to eat at the hibachi table and the table was way too high. The table was at chest-level while seated in a normal-height chair. It was really uncomfortable. I opted for the shrimp and scallop hibachi combination because I wanted to treat myself to something on the nicer side. I was able to get a second soup instead of a salad. The hibachi show was unique and I saw a few things I've never seen before: the chef was beatboxing while using the utensils as music, the chef tossed an egg into their hat, and the rice was cooked and pressed into a loaf and served neatly. I was extremely disappointed with the food though. I inquired to the chef about the "second sauce" he put into the rice. He responded that it was teriyaki sauce. The look on my face probably showed disappointment. I do not like teriyaki. And the teriyaki was put on everything cooked on the table from the shrimp appetizer, vegetables, and main meat entrees. If I wanted a teriyaki dinner, I would have ordered one. I'm used to a hibachi dinner being soy-sauce based. (And this was but with teriyaki added into everything.) The service wasn't really existent. There's not much to do, but when I'm asked if I'm done with my bowl, I expected to be taken off the table, not stacked in the empty seat next to me. The short: confusing interior, confusing menu, confusing food preparation. 2 stars because some food was edible but I didn't enjoy myself. I won't be back if I'm in the area.
