Great location on Ave M in Brooklyn. Large clean cafe with plenty of seating. My bother loved his croissant with egg and cheese. I ordered the tuna melt panini. It was the best I've ever had. The tuna had pickled red onions and capers to elevate the flavor. The bread was perfectly crispy & chewy with delicious melty cheese. The fresh salad was nice in the side with a lovely dressing. Used to really like this place when it first opened. Sadly seems this place went downhill since then. As soon as you approach the doors the glass doors are filthy and inside it smells weird smell not like that of a bakery. The person that made my coffee didn't wash his hands after coming back inside from outside the store. One sip was all I could drink. Americano was weak like too watered down. No doughnuts anymore. This fairly new addition to the neighborhood cannot be more welcomed! I first found out about them when one of my friends brought their savory tomato Provençal tart and Choc Berry Berry (a chocolate raspberry Swiss roll cake) to a bridal shower. The staff told my friend that the roll was a new item - so new that they didn't even know what price they should sell it for! Both items, but especially the Choc Berry Berry, were crazy delicious, and I couldn't get it out of my mind the following days. So yes, I paid this place a visit on a weekday evening hoping to get my hands on that roll. I was blown away by how beautiful the interior was. Cute tables by the front, gorgeous wallpaper that would make for a great photo op, and glass displays of the treats! There weren't much options left by the time I went and I found out that they don't sell the roll anymore. I was of course pretty disappointed, but I still bought two sweet tarts since I was already there. The flavors were lemon strawberry and Black Forest. They were $6 each and quite worth it for how much detail is put into them. I absolutely loved how the lemon strawberry wasn't too sour and the touch of torched meringue. But I enjoyed the Black Forest tart more and found the chocolate crunch toppings to be a nice addition. I chatted with the staff member a bit about the Choc Berry Berry hoping that she'd somehow be able to bring it back. She was so friendly and even gave me two chocolate croissants, a pecan cranberry sourdough, and another bread on the house. I'm definitely going to return again! My friend who is a local took me here to grab a quick bite! I got the salmon pastrami lox croissant sandwich and an iced cinnamon twist latte with almond milk. It totaled $21 which I found kind of pricey, but the quality of the sandwich was great. Just imagine a NYC lox bagel with cream cheese, capers and onions but instead of a toasted bagel, it's a nice fluffy flakey crispy warm croissant - simply divine and decently filling as a breakfast or lunch sandwich! I didn't think the cinnamon twist iced latte was that special. If anything, I thought the honey made it a little too sweet for my liking. Next time, I'm coming to try another sandwich! read more

As a resident of the community, having a million kosher bakeries at my disposal, this one is not worth it. Paid $9.50 for a bagel with lox and cream cheese, and got a bagel that half the size of normal NYC bagels, with about a half a teaspoon on cream cheese and 2 slices of lox. Really wanted to like it because it looks so chic, and has many locations, but I'm now convinced that this is not a great place and on the bottom of my list when I need a sandwich. I love patis. I really do, the food is absolutely delicious. Overpriced, but delicious. But for some reason the last week or two of going there have been issues with the food. Last week there was a bone in my lox so they remade it for me which was good. But today I spend $6 on a small size soup and I open it up to see it half filled? So I woke up one morning and decided I would not cook breakfast instead I would browse through UberEats and stay in. Nothing quite fit my palette nor stood out to me until I came across the name "Patis" which crazily in my mind started to travel "like you mean patis as in patisserie as in French pastries? I definitely must see what they have and indulge in this experience" ( of course that was my inner fat girl )and their menu was definitely up to par as far as presentation and detail aesthetically which had me intrigued. Now when I saw that they had Lox well you know I was sold it was a definite YES in my book! Let me tell you they did not disappoint with the quality of food and crust on the meringue to the savory & tart flavors. The reason I am so ecstatic & overjoyed If we know anything about Brooklyn we know a lot of the time most cultures start off giving their very best and start to skimp on quality after a while when they have drawn enough attention but after my thorough google review of the store I definitely placed my order in which was received in a timely manner by a very well mannered gentleman, the overall take of this for me like I was meant to experience what this store had to offer and I look forward to actually setting foot in there to get the full experience. Now the reason they didn't get the full 5 stars is b/c they didn't have the chocolate pecan tart & replaced it with the chocolate caramel tart which was great but not quite what I wanted. I made sure to plan ahead, pre-ordered and everything, added different things to each sandwich that was a fortune but wanted to make it special for my mother. I pre-ordered a day ahead, then called in the morning where they Lied and said my order was on its way. When it was almost an HOUR late and my mom was sitting at the table waiting they Yelled at me and said they're still Making it and that they're BUSY!! what's the point of the preorder then and after you're an hour late I don't think you should yell at the customer who's fault it is not!!! My Grubhub driver waited there for an hour!!!! His day was ruined as well!! When my order finally arrived upside down the things I paid for were ignored and not provided over $20 worth and the dessert I paid for wasn't there As well.
