When I got home, I toasted the everything bagel, and put some butter on it, and I am happy to report, it was delish. The soup plus half pizza is a fun deal for $9.99. The pizza is about 10-11 inches in diameter. The crust was really good and not as soon as I would've liked all around, but the inside middle was very thin and crispy and chewy, but the outside crust is very thick and I wished that the cross didn't have so much dough and more pizza and thinner. The pesto pizza was too soggy so the cost no longer had that chewing us, but the mushroom pizza was very good. The vegetable soup that they had today on February 7, 2025 was very good even for a vegetable soup. I would say it's kind of pricey for half a small pizza and a soup but it's still a fun meal that you don't have to cook and clean after on a Friday afternoon. Parking on the meter so watch out for your car if you're parked here because you'll get a ticket. The upper east side has a lot of food and it's a nice quiet residential area so enjoy. read more

This place has reopened within the past couple weeks! It's really nice in there, smells good and has a lot of space to sit and chat or work. The display case is filled with tons of fresh and delicious desserts with the s'more croissant served heated up being standout. The croissant itself was perfect in every way and the additional marshmallow and chocolate decadence was the perfect touch for a sweet tooth. Patis Bakery is a Kosher Bakery. It has only been open for about a week. I've been by here three times, twice I spoke to employees. I'm getting the scoop about their operation a little bit at a time. They don't open until 9am and they're closed Saturdays. If you like your coffee early in the morning this isn't the place for you. The employees are very nice and were patient with me even though they are VERY very busy! Today I purchased my coffee elsewhere and decided to return to check out the baked goods around lunchtime. Once again the employees were very nice and explained everything to me. I was thrilled that I could order a sandwich. The Fougasse looked great and was especially appealing after the employee said he substituted kale for the arugula. I'm not a fan of arugula. He said the bread is Cranberry Pecan Sourdough. It was such a delicious combination of ingredients. I would definitely get it again even with the belly ache I got from the onions and peppers! This sandwich was $10.83 including the tax. You can't beat the price. They are a credit card only business so leave the cash inside your wallet. They were checking everyone's vaccination status if they sat inside. I was happy to see that. I sat watching all the people walking by my window seat as they were checking this place out. More and more were coming inside asking how long they had been open and looking at the menu. I can guarantee that this place will soon be packed with customers all the time, both inside and outside. No problem, I'll be the first in line when they open! I'm highly recommending!! read more

Came to this Kosher bakery to pick up some treats for dinner with my girlfriends. I was helped by Stephanie who encouraged me to get the toffee cookie and the cinnamon bun, both of which were delicious. I am in the minority with this, but I don't think nuts belong in desserts (sorry) but I could get past the nuts in the cinnamon bun because it was equal parts gooey, flakey, cinnamony, and doughy. The interior was clean and decorated nicely. I will definitely be back for some of the delicious looking breads. Special shout out to Stephanie who was patient and joyous while I asked many questions. I was going to leave a 4 star review because one of the people working wasn't wearing a mask, but since the previous commenter said everyone who ate inside had their vaccination checked, I'm assuming they're vaccinated? This bakery is so cute inside!! I love that there's quite a bit of seating; I could definitely see myself working here post-COVID. I came in around 3pm and they still had a decent variety of pastries available and different types of focaccia that looked really good. In terms of pastries, I got the Dulce de Leche Kouign Amann, Pecan Pie Sticky Bun, Almond Croissant, and Chocolate Toffee Walnut Cookie to share with my family. The sticky bun is one of their best sellers, and it was sticky, flaky, nutty, and chewy. In general, the flaky desserts we got (including the kouign amann and croissant) were the stars. We truly love a good FLAKE. The cookie was also decent! It was on the soft side, so if that's how you like your cookies, this is a winner. Each pastry was $4-5, so a bit pricey, but ayo it's the upper east side so what do I expect. The pastries earned this bakery 4 stars, but the docked star is for the drinks. We ordered the Iced Matcha, Iced Chai, Iced Dirty Chai, and Hot Chai. The matcha was ridiculously powdery. Just sand on the tongue, y'all. My sister stirred it and stirred it, but she could not get the powdery taste to go away. The iced chai had a very mild chai flavor and was more milky than chai-y, you know? My dirty chai was decent, but it was an insane EIGHT DOLLARS. $5.50 for the chai latte alone, with an extra $2.50 for the espresso shot. That. Is a crazy price for a mere 12 oz dirty chai. Definitely not worth it. I also found it strange that they did not have a drink menu at the counter or labels for their pastries. I ended up asking the person working the counter for their recommendations instead of asking them to tell me what each of the pastries were. As for the drinks, I was informed they had a "full espresso bar" but I would have loved to see a piece of paper or a poster on the wall above them or something to help me figure out what I wanted. My mom and I went to Patis Bakery after spending a few hours at the Met. I was initially trying to go to Bluestone Lane that's closer to the museum, but it was packed there so we walked over to Patis. Choosing Patis was a better idea than Bluestone because it was more spacious and inside was bright. Bluestone was located in what looked like a church so it seemed like a cool venue, but the inside was super small and dark unlike what I expected. At Patis Bakery, we had almond croissant, chocolate caramel tart, iced latte, and mango iced tea. The almond croissant was decent. The tart was a little too sweet for my preference but it was a good pick-me-up when I was dead tired from wandering at the MET on top of running around the past few days in the heat. The place has a lot of potential to look more alive if they make a few simple tweaks. The flatbread with shitake mushrooms and pesto was pretty decent and not overly salted and the bread was nice and fluffy inside like an airy focaccia. They can also warm it up for you if you ask. I also got the dulce de leche kouign amann which was excellent! The center was generously filled with dulce de leche and the pastry itself was very well laminated and still crispy despite all of the filling. There were a few tables to sit at and a few people were on their laptops/doing work so they're definitely amenable to that if you need to get some work done. The only thing that was off were the people working there. The first woman kept pressuring me to order as soon as I walked in the door even though there was no one else in line and not busy at all. She did seem to soften up though once I told her I was eating there. The other woman seemed genuinely uninterested in being there and was very aggravated when I asked what a few of the pastries were since none of them were labeled!
