I had good dealing with them on buying a car and they promised to pay my last two payments and a end of lease fee, but they did not pay in full I contacted them via email three times and they said they would work on getting it resolved, but never did and never called me back. Promises giving and promises not kept. Make sure you get something in writing if they are paying off another car or lease or you end up like me 2-3 months later getting a bill that was not paid and screwing with your credit rating. read more

We have had a terrible experience with this dealership. Our car engine broke down in April on our way through Chicago. It's been at the dealership since. They told us the engine was fixed so we flew down to Chicago (we live in Minneapolis) to pick up the car. We get in the car and try and pull away and the car hardly makes it out of the parking spot. They told us Hyundai sent them faulty engine and it would be another few months. We FINALLY receive the call that our car is getting towed to MN. They drop it AT THE WRONG DEALERSHIP that's not even a Hyundai dealership. This is the worst customer experience we have ever received. I had my 2022 Tucson Hybrid serviced here at the end of March. I brought in my Tucson in for it's 1st "complimentary service" well I wish I would have taken elsewhere and if you came here to get you "complimentary service" done here you will want to read this and take action as I had to here. After gutting my vehicle back, I was reading the service order and read that 5w30 oil was used instead of the required 0w20 that is stated on the oil cap and user manual. I told the service writer of the mistake and he brought out the service person in charge of the techs, and told me that "Hyundai does not pay us to put 0w20 oil in complimentary service, so we use 5w30". I was shocked at the admission, and told me that they would gladly drain the oil and have me pay for the correct 0w20 oil that is required otherwise they could not do anything about it. I informed of my displeasure and that I would take it up with Hyundai Customer Service, so that I did. On my drive home I contacted Hyundai about what happened and opened a complained case against the dealership for improper service done to my vehicle. After HCS contacting several dealerships regarding this issue with my concerns (including Patrick Hyundai), I was contacted by Patrick Hyundai's Service Manager, Jim Gruman regarding my concerns with the way my vehicle was serviced and what was apparently was done wrong, as he agreed that they messed up and to bring in my vehicle to put correct oil in it. Just last week 4/20/2022 took my vehicle back into Patrick Hyundai to re-do the oil change with correct oil 0w20. Be warned if you have gotten "complimentary service" done here please look at your work order it will state what weight oil was used, verify that the correct one was used if not please call Hyundai Customer Service (800-633-5151) and state your concerns. If nothing is said nothing will be done to correct the problem. read more

We were looking for a new compact SUV - we were set RAV4 and CRV HYBRIDS due to their reputation - we test drove Honda CRV... I started reading about Hyundai's TUSCON and Santa Fe HYBRID online. Gave a shot to test drive Hyundai. We walked into Patrick Hyundai in Schaumburg on Golf Rd in an afternoon. Everyone was busy running around - and no one would talk to us - we stood there for almost five minutes It is was very unusual Of course, this was at the height of inventory shortages (Mid July 2022). Finally a good sales person Ron said hello. W test drove Santa Fe - it was roomy but bulky the interior did not appeal - then Ron nicely pivoted us to Tucson 2022 Limited edition; my 20 yo daughter immediately fell in love with the interior and shape - it was impressive - they staged the car the doors and trunk were flanked open when we walked outside to test drive. I guess they know a thing or two about how to make first impressions. Of course Tucson that we liked was not available (at least we were told so). Ron said that it might take a week or two to get one. Then he (intentionally or not; I am not sure) drove us into their side parking lot where one had just delivered! The one in Amazon Grey Color with black interior-- as it was all presented it all seemed real and authentic - but in hindsight - I think it was staged in a way so that we feel lucky and privileged to have found the car...we liked. The dealers, these days, know that customers today walk in with set on model so they stage the cars ...kind of like the realtors do with the houses....so please be aware and do not show all your cards when you first walk in - at least that is what I think happened to us. That day, we walked away the hybrids were unavaiable. After two days of looking around for hybrids, we realized that they are priced $5k-$7k above MSRP (at least in the Chicago land area). In two we went back to Ron with Gas Tucson. There was no room to negotiate on price. I $250 for my van (what a rip off). The guys in the office were awful - they never acknowledge us even after we bought the car. I think they yanked around the little sales guys (including Ron. I ended up buying the car with Patrick because they had the car we wanted. Thanks to the inventory shortages. Otherwise I would have walked away long time back (notwithstanding Ron's efforts). Unfortunately, since I've the bought the car from Patrick Hyundai, I will have to see them more...hopefully after this their service may improve and you wont find me on here again. After I bought Hyundai Tucson within a week the entire sound system went silent..no radio, no hands free phone, no warning beeps...nothing. I took the car into a dealership - Ron was there - he suggested to go see service dept. and they looked at it and said that they would have to run diagnostic - and to do that I would have to come back in 2 weeks! This...after spending $45K on a brand new car! The guy at the service dept. counter was not flexible at all, nor was he considerate of our commitment to buy the car from the car dealership he worked for! I mentioned this to Ron (my sales guy) and now...he could do nothing --- Alas..I was no longer a hot new customer! I'd already bought! They (in service and power that be at Patrick Hyundai) would not even listen to Ron's request....again I think the management there sucks. I ended up waiting full one month to get sound back on my brand new Hyundai -- they said they needed to clean out the fuses to get the sound back on...which is bizarre as this was a brand new car! To this day I am not sure what exactly was wrong. This is my first Hyundai. I have been a Toyota & VW guy. We are pleased with all the bells and whistles they have thrown into the Limited Edition Tucson. With everything loaded Hyundai's are not any cheaper than CRV or RAV3 - but you get more for your money. Have I been lured by this fancy gadgets and have I overlooked the promise of quality? I don't know. Time will tell. It is too soon to say...So far its all good aside from NO SOUND EPISODE. The car feels a bit louder, lighter and bumpier. Hyundai offers 6 years 100,000 - so I would live with such shortcoming as I do have that piece of mind if any parts start to undo/or roll away! Friends, go say hello to the little sales reps that run around and are on the front line at Patrick Hyundai...they're a good bunch. But beware of those money hungry rude management there! read more

The sale part was ok, except they didnt tell me they were applying for additional financing when I already had financing in place. They said they needed my ssn to match up to my auto navigator financing. I took the car back today to get a remote starter installed. They had the car for 7 hours. When I picked it up, there were 65 new miles on it, 1/4 tank of gas burned, and all my trip counters had been reset. I called to ask what the hell happened, left a message and no one ever called me back. Definitely will not leave my car there again. read more

My abs/esc lights went on and first took it to this Hyundai dealer to see if it was dangerous. It cost me $136. to look at it and told me it would be $1400. to repair. Was upset they couldn't just tell me what the dash indicators meant without the $136 fee, so I took it to my little repair guy, Randy at Higgins Automotive in S Barrington and he fixed everything for $646.00, even drove me home! This is my second review here after buying my second car here (and the 5th car my family has bought here!). Nothing wrong with the first one, still runs great, I just wanted to upgrade. There are tons of car dealerships down Golf road, so it's really easy to go from one place to the next as you're searching for the best car, the best deal. After 2 or 3 other dealerships and a half dozen test drives, we were car-exhausted by the time we got to Hyundai. We called ahead to ask for Maz (we've bought 3 cars from him), and even though he had a few other clients he was working with, he said he would pull up the cars we were looking at. Just like last time, they were warm and toasty even in the blustery Chicago weather. Long story short, I ended up leasing a brand new Elantra at a better deal than any of the used cars I had driven elsewhere (we call it a Maz-ic trick, instead of a magic trick). We actually joked that they should order pizzas for the other dealerships down the road, since all of those salesmen keep on sending us back to Maz. He doesn't jerk you around and waste your time; he listens to what you're looking for and seems to have a really great memory for their inventory. While we were test driving a car, by the time we'd get back he would say he had something else in mind if that one wasn't "The One". He's dedicated to finding each person their perfect car... if they don't have what you want that day, he'll call you as soon as they do. And he never makes you feel like you're being too picky or cheap. While some dealerships treat you like a paycheck, Patrick Hyundai treats you like a family member. And that's why we keep coming back. Usually, buying a car feels pretty overwhelming, but they make it easy for us. We have 3 really great leases from them (which we asked for, Maz didn't pressure us AT ALL even though leasing is his specialty) but they always have really great used cars too. If you're looking for a reliable new or used car at a great price, stop in here. I recommend asking for Maz. read more

I strongly urge you to avoid Patrick Hyundai-this dealer is the epitome of a bad car buying experience. As part of the buying process, we were shown the full price of the car which included "optional" accessories. We asked to have the optional accessories removed and were told that they weren't optional and that they wouldn't remove them. We were told by the salesperson, Josh, "We aren't forcing you to buy this car. If you don't want it, we will sell it to someone else later today." For a salesperson to have the audacity to state that tells you exactly the type of place this dealership is-not one that values the people who keep these middlemen in business. One of these optional accessories is a $400 fee to replace one of your keys in the off-chance that you lose one of the keys within 3 years of purchase. Well, wouldn't you know that $400 is pretty much the cost of replacing a key in the first place? So they're forcing you to pay for things you don't need and won't remove them when asked. All of the optional accessories amounted to approximately $1,500 of added extortion. Leading up to the date we paid for a car we couldn't even take off the lot (more on that later), my wife and I communicated with Patrick Hyundai over several months. When our car was finally available, we confirmed via email with Patrick Hyundai that we would be offered the lowest rate of 2.79% APR financing if we qualified-the same offer that was listed on their website for our car, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited. Once we arrived at the dealership, we went through the financing process and were told we qualified for the 2.79% APR offer. However, several minutes later they reneged and told us that they would only give us 3.25%. We brought up the offer listed on the website (showing them from our phones the exact offer listed on their website) as well as the email confirmation from their salesperson, but they wouldn't budge. Instead, they told us something akin to "websites take a long time to update and that offer is no longer available." And again we were told that they weren't forcing us to buy the car. So not only are they extorting you, but they're providing false advertisement and lying in their communication. But they chalked this up to a slow website update and a human error in communication. The icing on the cake? After we got through the entire buying process that took around 4 hours, my wife gets in the new car and I get in our rental car. We're about the drive off the lot and my wife tells me she can't adjust one of the mirrors! Patrick Hyundai failed to discover defects in the build of the car and/or missed this in their inspection (if an inspection was even completed-I asked to see the inspection list, was told they'd give me a copy, but I never got it). So we couldn't even take the car that we just paid for off of the lot and needed to wait for them to order a part, have it delivered, and fix the car! What an absolute joke! Patrick Hyundai will tell you that they offered to have us drive the car off the lot that day and for us just to bring the car back in when the piece arrived. Not having adjustable mirrors is a safety hazard and they wanted to be able to say they told us we could take the car off the lot when in reality, we couldn't safely do that. And how could I forget that they make you sign papers stating that the optional accessories were optional yet you agree to buy them! I asked the finance person we worked with and she told me that the papers were mandatory. I asked her to confirm in writing that these optional accessories were mandatory even though the paperwork we were forced to sign to buy the car stated they weren't mandatory, and she said she would state this in a follow-up email with me the following week. I knew she wouldn't (their goal is to get you to sign), and she didn't. The whole process was miserable. Everyone we worked with oozed sleaze. The only person who was friendly and enjoyable to speak with was the administrative person. Avoid this dealership. They don't deserve your business. read more

I bought a $25,000 used Jeep Grand Cherokee from Patrick Hyundai around June 20th. Less than 3 weeks later I was charged $600 to get the same car fixed. They went through a checklist explaining how the car was in excellent shape before I bought it, and yet the check engine light came on less than 3 weeks later. I emailed customer service to complain, and they never responded. -10/10 review, never getting my business again! read more

I had an exceptional experience. My mom and I came in about 8:30 pm and this nice man, Geero came up to us and was willing to go out and show us the cars we were interested in. Once we were discussing finances, he was so willing to root for us and make sure Sonia got the car made for Sonia! He was also very funny and enjoyable to talk to! I bought a Santa Fe in 2014 and have taken advantage of the coupon book service. Past experience was very adversarial. Things were always brought to my attention with the undertone being negative if I didn't approve/pay service prices. Through experience, I have a fair idea of what services cost and these prices were very high. I recently went in for oil service and the old service counter guys were gone. I was greeted better that I've ever been. I knew a headlight was out and when the service writer informed me of the cost, it was a little high, but I was there and time/convenience is important, so I agreed. If the management understands that customers generally like going to the dealer for factory service but pricing must be competitive. I will return and see if the new team and pricing continues. read more

Places like this build up the aura of shady car salesmen. Our failed attempt at buying from them certainly proved as such. We came here back in early August in search of a new Hyundai Santa Fe or a 2008 Entourage mini-van, which were discontinued models but this dealership had a few left. Looking over their offerings online, we found an Entourage van we liked listed for $22,950 on their web site and thought about giving it a test drive. Located along the "Car Dealer Row" on Golf, we decided to head over to Schaumburg for a closer look. We were promptly greeted by a middle-aged guy named C***, for the sake of protecting his identity. He showed us the car lot and we got to look into each vehicle and even test drive the Entourage around the area. All seemed to be OK. Then when we expressed an interest in buying the 2008 Entourage with the entertainment system option included, suddenly things took a turn for the worse. He pointed out their web site had a mistake on the price of the van, about $2000 more expensive! Since the entertainment system was a $1000 option, we asked about one of the other vans that did not have it. Oops! Those prices were mistaken too! The $22,950 was really about $26,000 and the other vans were actually close to $25K. We asked if there was any 0% financing or perhaps if we'd get a break for paying for the vehicle with cash in full. Answer: Costs the same no matter how you choose to pay for it. He may have just been following a special cue card that says "If they are from Park Ridge, they must have some money so it's OK to rip them off." What ensued was a strange negotiating process in which all the 2008 vans we were interested in buying only got more expensive rather than us being able to attain a better deal on one. He gave us a final price of $24,665 with tax & title on the Entourage, though the brand new 2009 Santa Fe SUV's were selling for several thousand less than a 1+ year-old leftover model from 2008, with the 2010 models on the verge of arriving. Ultimately, we walked out with no deal. Out of curiosty, I checked their web site the very next day and the erroneous lower price was still posted. Perhaps it's a mistake advantageous to them for drawing in suckers to their showroom. And just to follow up, our buddy "C" called us at home a couple more times, reminding us that his "firm offer" still stands anytime we want to go back and buy one of those 2008 vans. It wasn't till we visited other Hyundai dealers that we found out this place is a real pain to work with even among other area Hyundai dealerships wanting an inventory transfer to help a customer find a specific model or style they don't offer. As of last week, we saw the same 2008 vans still in stock, unsold. They must really like holding on to them... In summary, not a good place to get a car. Go someplace else. read more

Customer service at their repair shop is horrible! I have a tiburon and I needed to fix my seat belt light and my A/C. I made an appointment at 8AM and I notified them that I will need a loaner ( it's free under warranty) or someone will have to drop me off to work, which is literally 5 minutes away. They agreed without the problem. When I came in at 7:40 AM. They told me that there is no car for me I can have and someone can drop me off at work. BUT not until 9AM. Really?!!! What's the point of making appointments when they don't even care??? Plus the guys had such bad attitudes. I took my car and left. Hyundai in Elgin is way better with their customer service. They even wash my car every time I bring it in for service. I will never go back tho Patrick Hyundai again. read more

What started off as a great experience, ended up to just be an annoyance. After doing much research, I had finally narrowed my options down to a handful of cars I was interested in, two models which were in the Hyundai family. Patrick Hyundai of Schaumburg, was one of the first Hyundai dealerships I visited. We were greeted by a salesman Dave Polcik, whom we were very happy with. He showed me exactly what I was interested in and crunched some numbers with me so I knew what I would be able to get. I explained to him my traveling situation and my time frame on when I would like to purchase a car. We left on a positive note. Dave Polcik followed up with me once through a phone call, and we communicated a couple of times though e-mail. Nick, "from customer service in Schaumburg", called me dang nearly EVERY SINGLE DAY, leaving the SAME EXACT MESSAGE. "Hi, this is Nick, calling from customer service in Schaumburg. Saw that you had been in contact with one of our assocaiates and I was calling to see how it went and if there's anything we can do for you at this time..." I cringe at the sound of the message. What an annoyance. Why would I want to call someone back who doesn't remember calling me every single day for the past week? I'll communicate with Dave, thank you. These calls came in from September through December, when I finally told them I purchased a car, which I had, from another Hyundai location. When I was finally ready to purchase a car last December, and after receiving an e-mail which had Dave Polcik's name signed at the bottom, and receiving a quote on a 2014 Sonata from a lady at their location, I headed over to Patrick Hyundai of Schaumburg. When I arrived, a salesman greeted us, and we informed him we were working with Dave. I believe this salesman was also named Dave, because I think he made some corny joke that he was Dave and could help us. Uh, no. We were then told that Dave Polcik was no longer with the company and he was unaware where he was now. The only reason I had come back to purchase a car at this location was because I decided on a Hyundai and I liked Dave Polcik. It was odd that I had just received an e-mail with specials and Dave's name at the bottom if he was no longer with the company. The infamous Nick was on lunch, therefore we left. Luckily a Hyundai Dealership had just opened in Palatine, which is close as well. We headed over and were instantly greeted by another salesman we got a good vibe from, Jim Dulaney. Unfortunately, the woman who quoted us from Schaumburg did not quote us correctly, leaving yet another annoyance with Schaumburg's location. Oh, and get this. Soon as we are signing our papers for my shiny new 2014 Sonata, guess who we see?! DAVE POLCIK!!!! Now had they just told me he moved over to this dealership, I would of walked in and asked for him. So, if you're in the market for a Hyundai, head over to Palatine. Ask for Jim or Dave. Avoid the annoyances that will come along with Schaumburg. read more

I had a great experience with the salesman I had, however, I have quickly come to realize that it is an epic mistake to give them your contact information online. About a month ago, I found a vehicle I was interested in checking out. I filled out the online form, then planned to go two days later to check it out. After seeing the vehicle in person, I decided it was not for me. Commence spam emails phone calls/voicemails. I have LITERALLY recieved daily phone calls/voicemails from someone named Andrea Crider. I can understand about following up with someone who has specifically expressed interest on something, but it has become so obsessive that I can recognize their 3-4 different phone numbers they call from. I seriously will NEVER shop or encourage anyone to shop here due to this experience... read more

This is the strangest car dealer I've ever dealt with. I wanted to buy a car. The Guest Services person kept going on some rant and wouldn't listen to what I was asking for. She told me a manager was going to contact me. When I emailed back to ask why a manager hasn't contacted me, she said they couldn't sell me a car for a certain price. I never said I had to have that price. I was asking for a price and she refused to give me a price and just said I should go somewhere else. Very bizarre. read more

Gave them another try and had my car serviced here. They got the job done but service was lacking. After paying for the car at the cashier when it was supposedly complete, I ended up waiting an abomination of 60 mins for them to bring my car out to me. After seeing customer after customer who dropped their car off and paid for their service after me and get their cars back as I waited in their lounge, I brought the issue to their attention. Apparently they forgot about me and left my car in the garage that entire time which is inexcusable. How someone could not notice that a car is sitting in their shop is beyond me. This is the equivalent of a restaurant kitchen losing your order slip or forgetting to make your order. At least you get compensated for your wait with a free drink or appetizer though :( read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I saw a Santa Fe online that I wanted and immediately requested an e-quote. I received a response from a member of the internet sales team, at around 1:30 p.m., quoting me a great price that I could not pass up. I set up a 4 p.m. appt the very same day to go in and hopefully drive home with a new car. Much to my surprise, my trusty salesman does me the 'favor' of driving up the Santa Fe I was there to see. Turns out it wasn't the one that I had seen online, or received a quote on. Conveniently enough the salesguy said it had been sold! But he assures me that he has a similar one in stock. Long story short, turns out the Santa Fe I had gone to see (and that I was told was in stock) had been sold 2 days ago. Apparently it takes their 'system a few days to update'. He assured me that he would have a similar Santa Fe in stock in a few weeks, so that I should go ahead and leave a deposit to put a hold on it. NO THANKS! I'm sorry, but this was completely unacceptable! I was told at 1:30 that the car was in stock by a member of the internet sales team. I drove up to Patrick Hyundai, which is no where near my home, only to find that they can't keep track of their cars. SHADY! Get a new 'system' that informs your sales staff of availability. Taking my business to O'hare Hyundai where they actually know how to keep track of their inventory. Thanks for nothing. read more

I had a great experience at Patrick Hyundai. It's the future people - there is no reason you shouldn't do your research online and have 5+ quotes, the invoice price, and a hand full of "true value" prices (e.g. fair market prices defined by Edmunds, Consumer Reports, etc.) before you even CALL the dealership, let alone walk in. I knew the exact car I wanted (model, year, trim, color) so I emailed about 10 dealers for pricing. Patrick Hyundai was not only the easiest to get quotes from (I think I got quotes for all six colors they had in stock), but they were the lowest price. I took this quote and shopped it around for someone to beat (not just Chicago - Milwaukee, Indy, Cincinatti, etc.) and NOBODY could beat it. Before I decided to drive up to the dealer, I double and triple checked the quote I was provided (even got it in paper so I could bring it to the dealership). When I got there, the process was smooth as butter - there were NO additional fees, upgrades, "packages", etc added to the original quote I was provided. Sure, they offered me financing and an additional warranty, but a firm "No" was all it took to move past these offers. The salesman was busy but went out of his way to accommodate us and make sure we were taken care of. I drove away with the vehicle that night, happy knowing the price was $500 lower than any dealer within 500 miles. If this isn't a successful car shopping experience then I don't know what is. read more

Unfortunately I had a very very bad experience I got stuck in the middle of the road & found a way to get the car to Patrick Hyundai the rear joint was defective & broke in which I was driving sideways till I got off the highway I had it towed over to Patrick Hyundai and they seen it & said it must of been a malfunction part fixed it but by any means would not do a alignment even after speaking with the manager at which point he said that there is a possibility that it could have took the alignment off I was told no and that I  would have to pay  $200 even though I purchased  a full  bumper to bumper warranty for almost $5000 meaning from the front light all the way to the backlight excluding break pads,light bulbs etc regular wear and tear items which is normal.  being a new car is the reason to buy the extended bumper to bumper warranty. TO HAVE  Patrick Hyunda charged $200+ from me for a alignment after was told that the break could of caused the car to go out of alignment and  after speaking to a  assistant manager  and then the manager  and was told  that you will have to pay for the alignment and the headaches  it was unnecessary. After all I paid just about  $5,000for a full bumper to bumper warranty.  Basically Patrick Hyundai maintenance staff and manager DID NOT CARE ABOUT A CUSTOMERS SAFETY & didn't matter to them that I had to drive out of  PATRICK HYUNDAI drifting my rear to the right. A faulty part and anything that happens due to that part shall be fixed but that is not Patrick Hyundai beliefs basically it was a faulty part that made the alignment go out...  PATRICK HYUNDAI said they will not fix it and when I mentioned about safety they said unfortunately if you do not pay we will not fix it SO customer safety doesn't matter to Patrick Hyundai..  Mercedes is down the street I spoke to a manager told them what's the situation was etc. and was offered  a full 4 point alignment on a laser machine It took about a hour or 2. At which time when I offer to pay for the service $110 the manager came out gave me his business card and told me don't worry about it I understand what you're going through and basically had another company Mercedes down the street from Patrick Hyundai have to fix a situation that should have been fixed by my parent company  Patrick Hyundai would you buy another car from them PATRICK HYUNDAI??? I was happy that this dealer was able to find the car that I wanted and that they honored the price that they quoted by email, though they conveniently didn't remember that quoted price when I first arrived. However, the car I bought was not setup correctly and I ended up having to take it to another service location to get a fuse switch turned on. Also, the finance department told me that there would be only a single 'hard' pull of my credit. I specifically asked them this and they confirmed it. Surprise, surprise, 2 hard pulls ended up on my credit report in the end. These guys weren't the worst, but they certainly shouldn't be trusted. It should be telling that, currently, my 2-star rating will actually raise the average for Patrick Hyundai Schaumburg...Oh boy...Anyways, Summary: I went in to see a specific used car which I reviewed online beforehand. I was willing to spend up to $20k cash on the spot if everything worked out. The salesman (one who I was not originally scheduled to work with), couldn't have cared less, even though I was very specific with my feedback/concerns. So, I left. ------------- Details: I've been looking at a VERY specific group of used options as a weekend/hobby car. This Patrick Hyundai happened to have one that I would have strongly considered pending a positive experience. I first called them (a call center which manages a number of their locations) to verify that the car was still available and asked a couple of basic questions. This was going to be a slightly inconvenient drive. The rep was very pleasant and helpful without being pushy at all. This is the only reason for the second star. She addressed my questions and put me in the system for a flexible appointment. During the follow-up call the morning of my appointment date, she instructed me to ask for one of two specific salesmen at the dealership. So, I went... When I arrived it was FAIRLY busy, but nothing extreme. I wasn't greeted by ANYONE. So, after a few minutes, I went to the counter and asked for one of the two aforementioned SPECIFIC people. I received a very vague and unsure answer and was pawned off to a third salesman. I told him which car I was there to see... Again, the people there couldn't have cared less (but maybe if I told them I was ready to spend $20,000 cash)...Maybe it was because I'm in my mid-20s, but who knows? The salesman photocopied my license and pulled the car around. He walked out to the car with me and checked a broken component in the trunk. As I began checking EVERY single important aspect of the car, he told me I could drive it when I was ready and walked inside, where he stayed for the remainder of my visit. After the test drive (alone), I took notes about all concerning aspects of the car (as I always do). I provided my feedback on the car, considering the CarFax history, common occurrences with that specific model, and things that I noticed. He didn't have a specific response to ANYTHING that I mentioned. So, I quickly wrapped up our "conversation". He casually handed me his card and I left, unlikely to ever return. Went to bring in my car for service today. Standard 30,000 maintenance and . Not a lot to do: Standard tire rotation, oil change, replace several oil filters and inspect everything. The sales rep points to my car, tells one of the mechanics "Oil change" and then proceeds to quote me out at 485$ for the service. As anotherlady was there explaining to the mechanic that she brought he car in for an oil change and that they did not change the oil properly, I got out of there as fast as I could. read more

I am sitting in the waiting room writing this review right now. I purchased my car at Patrick Hyundai about 3 months ago and am in for my first oil change. At my time of purchase I had no complaints, we agreed on a fair price for my vehicle, I worked with two sales associates as I had to come back to take delivery of the vehicle. There was nothing remarkable about this dealership, they just happened to have the EXACT vehicle I was looking for. I did not get a manual when I purchased my car, so they had to order me one. When I came in to pick it up, no one had any idea what was going on. It took 20 minutes to actually have someone go get the book from upstairs for me. What is the point of calling ahead if no one can help you when you come in? Then I find out their $8.95 oil changes for life, only extends to two oil changes a year..... I think I'll save myself the drive and just change my oil at home. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone that values customer service. However, if you do choose to buy from here I would recommend Larry, he seems to be the only one with half a brain. read more

We purchased our car a year ago. Sales person was great, finance guy was a jerk but management quickly intervened. Service was good until our last visit. Service advisor was rude, unhelpful and told me to go talk to my Sales person to figure out my issue. I did as instructed and he was great. He went back to the Service advisor and explained what the issue was, I couldn't stay and my vehicle was already serviced so I was told Service advisor would call. I am still waiting for that call over a week later. I emailed the Service manager a week ago, no response. They will not see me again, they don't care about their customers after the car is purchased. read more

I've had decidedly mixed results with service here. The work is good but the customer service can really stink. Everything also seems to take forever to be completed. However, after a recent cat accident that left my 2008 Elantra totalled (RIP my dear Ellie), I had the opportunity to work with Kash in sales. He was great to work with and really went the extra mile to help me on my car search. He even came in on his day off to help us out. I HIGHLY recommend working with him. He is very personable and not pushy or rude like some other car salespeople. A pleasure to deal with. Because of his great service, I left the lot with a certified 2011 Elantra. read more

I couldn't be any happier with my purchase at Patrick Hyundai, which was made roughly 10 months ago. Even after the purchase the salesman Alex Baszaral continues to serve as a helpful contact at the dealership. Every time I come in for service, I am always treated like a valued customer by him. The sales process was efficient and smooth as possible, and I did not feel intimidated in any way. The car I bought may have been used, but the Patrick team did a terrific job in making the experience seem like a new car purchase. My car was certified and delivered to me as close to new as possible! I went to Patrick Hyundai and dealt with a salesman who had, by his own admission, only recently started working for Hyundai. Luckily, being a younger female, I know to have my research done before going in to a dealership. I had to inform him which incentives I qualified for. I test drove the Sonata and loved it.The only luxury package 2012 that they had in stock was a demonstrator with 5,000 miles on it. The salesman refused to go down in price. Well while we were negotiating, it was sold. I was getting ready to leave when a gentleman told me they could do a 2012 price on 2013. My sales man comes back with a price of 2,000 more AND an appraisal of 2,000 below my car's bluebook value. I tell him this is unacceptable and he goes back to his manager. I then hear the manager make a very rude statement along the lines of "I'm not worried about her business". Once I left, I went to McGrath Acura. Got a fair price on a TSX and a VERY fair price on my trade. NEVER going back to Patrick dealerships again! Rude and shady are the only adjectives for their employees. read more

I'm a busy dude, so my time is valuable. I found a car I liked online and went to check it out, but found the one I eventually bought while looking at the other car I originally went to see. I put in a web inquiry and they brought the car to my work to test drive and then returned later that day with the paperwork to close the deal. Super easy transaction and friendly service. I would have given 5 stars, but the price tag they had in the window of the car didn't match the website. I never saw the website price because I noticed the vehicle on the lot while looking at a different vehicle, so I assumed it was the price posted. It wasn't until I went to sign the paperwork I noticed the discrepancy. When I inquired, I was told the porter had put the wrong price on the car. I had pictures of the price and as a former car salesman, I held them to the price but not before some gruff. I understand mistakes happen and had it been an unreasonable amount, I would have just chosen a different vehicle, but it was only about $1000 so I stood my ground. Purchased a vehicle on 11/28/19. Had to ask for something to drink after we had been there nearly two hours (directed to the coffee and water to fill up a cup ourselves). We were pushed into completing the sale that night despite how clear we were about wanting to return in two days, despite assurances from the salesman that returning would be fine, and despite our screaming, exhausted baby. This was just one example of what looked like a culture of deliberate deception disguised as poor internal communication. In between their smoke breaks, other salesmen stood around right next to us loudly talking about how excited they were about all the sales incentives going on the following month. You really can't find another way to chat about all the money you're about to make gauging your customers? We purchased one of the clear-coat packages with a remote starter but were unable to have them take care of these modifications right away (because of how late it was). We were never contacted about scheduling this change, and trying to do so ourselves took weeks of run around and dropped calls. We were given absolutely zero instruction on how to use any of the car's features. Had another issue that needed to be addressed promptly. After the first message I left was tossed in the garbage, I sent out an email and copied the General Sales Manager. No response for going on two weeks. read more
