Last time we had Patrick's food was in June when he catered for our 40th anniversary. Today we were at a Pokémon tournament since early morning. Patrick's is only 17 miles away from the convention center. So of course we had to go. As soon as we walked in Patrick greeted us, and gave me a hug. Thanking us for visiting today. They were totally out of lau lau. Patrick said call next time and they wil save it for me. So I ordered chicken long rice my usual. It hit the spot since I've been sick all week. We also got too much desserts. All good but that guava cake is delish. Place closes at 3pm, we got there at 1pm and the place was still hopping with happy people. Met this sweet young couple that came from Bremerton to get an abundance of cakes. Place is not large but it's clean, and reminds me of the islands.

What a great find! Was in White Center meeting up with a friend after a walk in Lincoln Park & we decided to try Patrick's. Small bungalow turned into a restaurant. Cute vibes with butter art, plants and cozy home feel. Seating is small scale (3x4 tops and 3x2 tops). You can order at the counter and find a seat. Coffee and water are self serve. Friendly and customer focused staff, daily specials and a pastry display so welcoming you want to try everything! Friend ordered the biscuits and gravy with a pineapple scone. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon. Both of us loved the food and agreed that the portions were enough for two meals. We also both agreed we would like to come back to try other menu items or more of the pastries.

Patrick's cafe is a neighborhood staple and a must try. From the moment you step inside the environment feels incredibly homey. I love how friendly everyone is and every time we go Patrick's there connecting with everyone. I absolutely love this!! The food is tasty, healing and feels like a warm hug. You can tell it's handmade with care and love. My favorite thing is their Chicken Long Rice soup. The chicken is tender and the broth is so light. My husband usually will get a breakfast burrito which he says is one of the best breakfast burritos in the greater Seattle area! The drip coffee is also wonderful and fresh. The added fun of Patrick's is the puzzles they have on the table!

Unko Patrick does it again! Stopped by to grab some quick eats and left with a HAUL. Unko also didn't let me leave without musubi and juice sheeeesh. The portugee bean soup was GAS, certified bangah. Everything fire over here

Went to Patrick's Café about 1 PM. There's a lot of street parking nearby. There's also indoor and outdoor seating. The servers were very friendly and it wasn't too busy when I went. The food came out promptly. I ordered the moco Loco, I like the char on the patty. It came with a lot of rice and gravy, and also some grilled onions. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a lot of cute merch, snacks and baked goods . Planning to come back to get some cinnamon rolls.

If there was ever an award for the cutest mom and pop Hawaiian fusion spot it's Patrick's Cafe. We stumbled upon Patrick's Cafe and Bakery and now it's a favorite top spot. It's a small house and offers local Hawaiian food from coconut cake, loco moco and Mac salad. We decided to order the Kuala Pork (we normally stay away from pork) however the lady was saying it was a favorite and we couldn't say no. It was with cabbage and rice and a side of Mac salad. I will be dreaming about the Mac salad. We weren't able to try the bakery portion but I can 100 percent guarantee we will be back! Thanks Patrick's Cafe for the homey warm welcoming and amazing service.

I can always count on Patrick to make me the food I need, whether it's egg foo young, Portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice, or a fresh turkey croissant sandwich for lunch. Where else can you find a fresh pineapple scone? Everything is delicious. The turkey in this sandwich is sliced thick with tomato and romaine lettuce. It came with chips. Service is fantastic and kind. I always tell people that Patrick's food is better than his brother's because you can taste the love and aloha.

This place is super homey and cooks up some great food. We ordered the chicken long rice and fried rice with egg on top. Everything was super flavorful and the food came out fast! The fried rice really hit the spot with a little bit of Tabasco sauce on top. For dessert we got a POG cake and it was moist and not too sweet. It's a small area inside and has about 4-5 tables. We came on a Sunday at 12pm and luckily didn't need to wait!

Hawaiiain Cookies are to die for! They make em in house and fresh. If you're looking for a hole in the wall place to have brunch this is the spot. The loco moco was a bit bland and croissant sandwich was good but not amazing as their baked items!

By what time are the haupia cinnamon rolls available? Last time I went they weren't ready yet

Neel H., Relax, brah. This isn't a multi-national corporation with a rigid time schedule. It's one guy (Patrick) and a couple employees.

Can you accommodate a customer with celiac disease? As in, having both GF options and proper cleaning & preparation to reduce risk of cross-contact?

Alice M., I'm just a customer, but I think you are trying to make a watch out of a clock or are hoping to file a lawsuit. This business is one guy plus a couple employees.

Someone told me that you make custard pies? Is this true? I've been craving this for months and haven't worked up the energy to make one. Haha.

Yes I do. I’ll have some for the weekend. I only make 5” pies but if you want a 9” size it’s special order

    Is the patio back open?

Weather permitting yes patio is wide open at 6’ social distancing

It wouldn't be a Hawaiian bakery with out Malasadas. Do you have them?

I can make them but I do not have the proper space time and equipment.

Does anyone know if he is the same PATRICK who used to bake for the stone house cafe on Rainier? I am on the hunt for that coconut cream pie!!!!

    Yes I am.

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Just get here, it's a place you can't pass up when you hit up Georgetown!

Parking is scarce, so plan ahead and be patient. We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food. Come early, expect a line, plan for parking--and you'll be rewarded.

I'd heard it was Filipino breakfast food, so I decided to go on a weekday after a staff member mentioned there's no wait then. To be safe, I placed my order online ahead of time. That turned out to be a smart move -- when I arrived, the place was packed and there were still two people in line. This is at 7:30am :| I ordered the Combo Silog to try a variety of things. I couldn't find the highly recommended ube pancake on the weekday menu. I later learned that it's only available on weekends, so I'll definitely have to come back for that. The combo came with a pork chop, two eggs cooked to your choice, two types of sausage, a silog with beef filling, and garlic rice. I also added a side of fried chicken. The pork chop and fried chicken were the highlights for me -- both had a thin, crispy batter that tasted great. I ordered my eggs over easy, and they were cooked perfectly: soft, but not too runny. The rest of the plate was solid, though nothing else especially stood out. I did wish substitutions were allowed, but the menu makes it clear they aren't. Overall, Ludi's definitely knows how to cook. The food feels like a tasty fusion of Asian and American breakfast comfort food, and it's hearty enough to keep you full for hours. I ended up skipping lunch. I'd absolutely recommend it, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the ube pancake.

Very good to know for future reference. Karaage is in the name and is their signature dish. They make it the right way using chicken thigh. Prices are reasonable for the Seattle area. We will return again. The Food: Curry Rice with Karaage, $17.95 - 4 Stars This popular curry rice comes with a choice of protein, which naturally, we chose karaage. The curry sauce is delicious. The salad wasn't overdressed and tasted refreshing with a light dressing. I would order this again. Karaage Chicken, small, $6.95 - 5 Stars Glad they offer the chicken as a side. The small is a good compliment to salad. Instead of four pieces, we had five. Hubby was happy to have more protein to go with the rice. They are more of a 4.5 stars rating. This was at 12:30PM and there was a long line out the door and around the corner, taking almost 30 minutes. I had previously visited on a rainy winter weekday for lunch and there wasn't a line at all. What a difference the day and weather can make! While in line we could see the chefs cutting up ahi fresh right in front. The longer line gave me time to chat with the owner as he was trimming off the skin and other bits. I learned that tuna skin is much tougher than salmon skin so can't be eaten like salmon skin chips. He also said that the trimmed parts can be taken for free if anyone wants them. Apparently they make good crab bait! Medium w/ Rice, Traditional Limu Ahi, Hamachi, Mac Salad ($21.50) - I love the Hamachi poke mix. It's fresh, tender, and buttery fish tossed in a creamy and slightly spicy sauce, filled with little briny pearls and plenty of aromatics giving a super umami bite. The Limu Ahi is very fresh as well - I mean, it's sliced right in front, and there's so much turnover of the food that's it's pretty much guaranteed fresh. The tuna is fresh and tender, but there's noticeably more sinew compared to the hamachi. The Mac Salad is also really good. It's super creamy and the macaroni isn't overcooked so it still has some bite. The rice is unfortunately the weakest item in the bowl. It's a little too dry for my tastes and is only lightly tossed with rice vinegar, giving a tangy flavor. Overall all the poke is fresh, the flavors all meld together into a delightful balanced bite, and the sauces are not overwhelming. Ono Poke definitely serves some great poke! It's definitely not the cheapest meal option, but the poke is absolutely delicious and the fish is unbelievably fresh I tried the Shoyu Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Hamachi; all of them were incredible. The Hamachi is only available on weekends and the fish is so fatty it almost melts in your mouth with the creamy and tangy sauce. The Shoyu Salmon is incredibly succulent and just a classic knocked out of the park with a great balance of fresh, salty, and slightly sweet. I'm normally a tuna hater, but the texture is excellent with a nice bite and great spice level.
