Patrick's is a favorite in Gilford, everything on the menu is consistently delicious and you can't go wrong. I especially love the chicken sandwich, fish and chips, seafood chowder, and the pub mac. The service is usually fast despite having a full house with lines out the door. Patrick's is mostly always packed and for good reason, like I said, you can't go wrong so I highly recommend coming here. It's great for large groups too, anywhere from 2-20! We had a wonderful time last Saturday. The atmosphere is warm and upbeat. Lighting is just right. Other patrons around us were super friendly. The food was great. We sat at the bar and Abi took wonderful care of us. She was sweet, professional and takes great pride in her work. Years ago I was a bartender for many years and then in hospitality management- I would have loved working with her. Because of the age difference, by the end of the night I was affectionately calling her "Kid". We stayed until almost closing time, and found the battery was dead in our truck. When we asked if anyone had charging cables one of the servers jumped up enthusiastically, after working all night, and said she did. She went out to the truck with us and we were on our way. Was driving by and decided to give this place a try, and I'm glad we did! The dinner rolls were good but the garlic herbed butter they serve with them were next level! Sooo good! My husband got a burger and said it was very good. I got a special that was a siracha fried chicken sandwich- it was huge and delicious! This is one of my go to restaurants. The service is always attentive with a smile and the food is wonderful . The atmosphere is friendly. You can always have a conversation at the bar if you want to. Some of my fave's are the steak tips, and the onion soup. And the shrimp cocktail, and the shepherds pie. read more

Patrick's is the quintessential local pub in Gilford. Seems to be the gathering spot for locals, but they are very happy to include visitors as part of the family. We were a group of six on a Thursday night, there to celebrate my cousin's birthday. They had a number of lovely seasonal cocktails as well as wine and beer, all at reasonable prices. We loved the atmosphere. They had live music that night, with the guitarist playing music we knew so, of course, we sang along! We got a nice variety of food. My cousin got the drunk chicken over their mac & cheese. She loved the chicken and I kind of wish I had gotten that, but she felt that the mac & cheese could've been creamier. I tried it and it was very tasty though. I got the fish tacos, and loved them. So delicious! Another in our party got the steak tips, and they came with outrageously yummy French fries. I kind of finished his fries off! For an appetizer we shared the Irish nachos, which was pulled pork and cheese, over their homemade potato chips. So good! They didn't rush us out even though we arrived at 7:15 and they close at eight. It really was a fun time and I would definitely go back next time I'm in the area. read more

French dip seemed to be steak-ums, our party was not a fan, it also was not warm all the way through. I was very pleasantly surprised. We visited multiple times while on vacation and everything was so good. Prices were reasonable, variety was good, quality was great and the drinks strong and delicious. There's usually a wait for a table, which is a good sign! Came by with some family in the area for an early dinner on a weekend in summer. The building is quite large and we were seated in the farthest room from the door, close to the restrooms. It was all booths back here and they are a bit snug for four adults. Just about as snug as you can get without being impossible. Although the restaurant was not full, this section seemed to be where patrons were being seated and was mostly full; about a dozen booths I would guess. It did take quite a long time for a member of waitstaff to stop by to take an order and it was also a long wait for our drinks and food to arrive. Service throughout our visit was not attentive and we couldn't find our waiter on more than one occasion. The food offerings are items you would expect: salads, sandwiches, burgers, and so on. Pub food. For the quality of food, service and atmosphere, the prices are about right. If I lived in the area this would not be my 'go to' spot, but for a one off it was acceptable. We were enjoying 'family time' and that helped smooth off the rough edges of our visit. read more

Visited Patrick's yesterday 8/30, as usual everything was excellent. Friendly staff all in masks, seating available inside/outside or at the bar. We started with Irish Nachos, two of us had Mac & Cheese with pulled pork, another had Mac & Cheese with Steak Tips and I had French Dip Sandwich. All were cooked perfectly with more than ample quantity of food. As with everything hours are limited due to Covid - 19, they do offer call ahead seating. read more

When the food came, I was inspired. The mashed potatoes were hot. Which is difficult... great timing on chef's end. After that.. mac and cheese was a bit tasteless. Coleslaw was fine. And the part I love about BBQ is the sauce and cook. Then Reapply sauce etc.... not here. Just a last min layer. I was impressed with the pan laid with paper. But pan wasn't hot, which would have kept food warmer longer, (as form/function design). And when the BBQ sauce melts the paper, you can accidentally eat paper. So... started impressed, yet finished.... okay. With a few alterations this place could shine supreme. read more

I have been here a few times and your experience really just depends on what you get. The pretzels are good and so are the fish and chips. Some of there specials are ok, others not so much. The kids enjoyed their burger and pasta, so points there. My wife enjoyed her steak tips, points there as well. My burger was sloppily put together with the cheese half off and running onto the fries. In hindsight I'm fairly certain my Jam Session burger was made with the wrong cheese which could partly explain the lackluster taste. The texture of the patty was fine. The fries were very disappointing to all, even the kids who generally aren't that picky about fries. Overall, it was on the good side of fine. read more

We came here on vacation and just wanted some quick food after traveling. We were seated rather quickly as it was a Saturday. There was a nice drinks menu and was able to pick a great drink spicy pineapple margarita. I ended up getting the Mac and cheese with pork and it was really good with a nice spice. My husband got a burger and enjoyed it. The staff was really great and helpful throughout our visit. There is a lot of seating and live music while we were there. This is one of the most popular pubs in the lakes region and has a large menu. It has a large seating area and also a decent size bar area. On this evening I was dining alone and had a beer and a reuben sandwich, sitting at the bar. Pretty basic- right? Well the beer came with 1/3 of the glass as head- that's a bad pour. The server noticed I hadn't touched the beer- and asked if there was a problem, and then willingly filled up the glass. The reuben was generous in portion but for some reason they had chopped the corned beef into small pieces. Not good. There's normally a lot to like about this place but this meal was disappointing. We were staying across the street in Hotel from Patrick's, so it was a no-brainer to go and get takeout there when our toddler had a meltdown. We had the French dips, bistro salad, the best sweet potato fries, and amazing butternut squash, that we had to go again the next day. We were able to eat inside on that day, their mozzarella sticks are hand breaded and delicious. The pretzel sticks were served with a beer cheese and it was pretty tasty, then I got the harvester salad which was very interesting and delicious. My husband got steak tips mashed potatoes and butternut squash again the service was top-notch. We've gone by this restaurant so many times I always wanted to try it I'm glad we finally did. Visited Patrick's pub as I heard great things about it. Unfortunately our spirits were quickly dashed by the overzealous bearded manager with the cut off sweat pants and black ankle socks. Obviously had an inferiority complex as he quickly attacked 2 females and stated he wouldn't wouldn't serve us. I think it was because we were from Massachusetts and he made us wait out in the rain for an Uber. Stay away from this place The truth of the matter is we walked in with one cup of wine with 1/4 of an inch left. We were dropped off in a taxi and cold sober. Patrick's pub manager made a point to target two white females. Even after we left the pub it wasn't enough for him but he proceeded to call every restaurant in town telling them not to serve us. That is the definition of harassment I don't know what is!! Our taxi drivers & hotel staff were appalled at Patrick's Pubs behavior & were very apologetic. We ordered takeout from Patrick's, the glazed chicken special they recommended...I believe it was a specialty. Not going to lie, it seemed like essentially some type of chicken fingers with some type of dressing on it. Three of us ordered it and it was excellent. Fries were great too.
