They make the best wings I have ever had. I've tried wings from quite a few places, but I only really like theirs, which I absolutely love. My husband says they are overcooked, and are too hot (I get extra hot with lots of extra hot sauce on the side), but whatever it is they do, it is fantastic. I suppose the overcooking is what gives them the chewy texture that I adore. And they are not breaded, which I prefer also. Their subs, fries and onion rings are all pretty good, but their wings are out of this world. The lemon pepper wings are also absolutely fantastic. They have chewy wings, not mushy like lots of other places. And their sauces are the best I have ever had. Hubbie and I get 50 wings when we go, which lasts us a couple of days. We get wings from there bi-weekly. It does take a little a while to get food from there, it isn't really fast food. But that is because they make the food. When you ask for wings, they fry them. They are not sitting around under a heat lamp. UPDATE: Had some company from Buffalo NY come visit and they agree these are the best wings they have ever had. Personal Opinion: The food here is great! HOWEVER I live within .8 miles of Patrick's and the wait time for your delivery can get out of hand ..I've waited up to two hours on multiple occasions for my delivery understandable times are busy but it's still unacceptable living within a mile of the business if not less. (And upon delivery after waiting an unheard of 2 hours there isn't even an apology or any type of compensation for the inconvenience) The business has no set schedule and seems to close whenever they please the business on Yelp says they are only closed on Sunday HOWEVER I have seen the store closed frequently on Sunday, Monday, and sometimes even Wednesday. Like I said the food is great but the business aspect and customer service is not all there and I hope the business will take this review seriously and make these changes. read more

Usually I love Patricks. Never had an issue ever. Last night I got a turkey and ham sub. It was delicious as usual. At around 12:30am I started to feel extremely sick. Its been 15 hours since then and I have the worst food poisoning I have ever had in my life. Puking all night, Nausea, Cramps, no fever but i cant express how sick I am (And no I dont have Corona got tested for that) I love Patricks and hope this was just a one time thing but it will be difficult for me to go back again after this. read more

Call restaurant told to call delivery service which was YELP...no one return call left several messages now I have a charge for 23.00 on my credit card no one can tell me how to get a refund. What you have to understand about Patty's Subs is that they aren't the "gourmet" subs. It's not Star Provisions, or even a Quiznos/Firehouse/Schlotzkys type of a place. This is THE place to go when you just want a basic sub, where they slice the meat to order (I really think this is what separates them from the pack), have fresh and simple bread, and want just the basics on your sandwich. Please understand, this characterization is NOT a back-handed compliment. When you want a basic sub sandwich, there IS NO better place in Atlanta. This sandwich is what the major chains promise you, but never deliver on. This is the sandwich that nearly caused physical harm to come to my friend for joking that he ate my leftovers. I love Patrick's. It is what it is but there is LOTS of it. Hot wings, salads (the tuna salad is my fav), and of course subs. I can't attest to the subs because I don't eat bread but they look good and they have all the toppings you could possibly want. They also offer fresh fruit, deviled eggs, and homemade cake. Call for delivery instead of using campusfood and you won't get the $1.75 service/delivery charges. They aren't the nicest people in the whole wide world but don't take it personally and give it a shot. I really like this place and eat here a couple times a month. read more

Food is decent, nothing special. But I cannot excuse my experience from the other night. I placed an online order through Eat24 - and got the notice that it would take 45 min to an hour. I thought that was outrageous for a couple of sub sandwiches, but whatever - fine. They took forever the only other time I ordered from them, as well. OVER an hour later, still no food. I tried to call the restaurant several times - nobody answered. I looked online & google info had them listed as closed. Checked Eat24, and they weren't available to take orders any more. ... WTH? With no other option but to assume that I wasn't going to get my order, I gathered up my things & headed out to go get myself some dinner. ... While in line waiting to pick up my food elsewhere, I get a call about "I'm at your place, trying to deliver your food." ... Well, forget it at that point. I've been to Patrick's a few times and the food was what I expected from a sub shop. The service was good and the quality of the food was ok. What makes this place interesting is that it's been in the same location since 1973 and even though it's probably gone through a few transformations here and there, you get the feeling that it's going to remain a divey submarine and wings stop for many years to come. My buffalo chicken wing and fries combo had a sweetness to it that pays a little homage to the Asian family that runs Patrick's. I was told my delivery would take 45 minutes, I had no problems with the window time frames at all. The food arrived much later than anticipated and it was truly a let down. My food arrived very cold and drinks with melted ice. The fries were burnt and soggy. The drink holders had more wetness to it until the cups almost fall out of my hand after the delivery driver told me to catch it. This was my first and last time ordering from this place. I actually had to warm my food back up in the microwave which I shouldn't have to do. This was really sad to visit a city and get a recommendation to try the food because someone said it was great. I ordered an egg salad sandwich. It was bland. GROSS!!! I ordered fries. They tasted old like they had been sitting in grease all day. GROSS!!! I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich with mayo and lettuce. I was charged extra for the mayo and lettuce, but my sandwich was missing both. I ordered wings. They were decent. When I called to notify the manager of the missing mayo and lettuce on my cheesesteak, he would not re-make the sandwich correctly because closing time was near. Instead of opting to grant a concession on the existing order or a future order, he decided to pick up the ENTIRE order--AT CLOSING--and give me a refund. No place like it left anymore! The owners make everything fresh, and they have all of the typical stuff on their menu. What makes this place super special is that Joey (the owner) gets to know you quickly and gives very personal service each time you come in. When you have something you love that's a little unconventional, they are always willing to make it, and the cool thing-the thing that makes this place truly unique? Joey will remember that and have it available to you each time you come in! My mom used to make me bologna and grilled cheese sandwiches when I got sick, and now, since mom lives far away, Joey makes them for me anytime I want! Had the Philly sandwich/wings combo and with some fries and a drink it came to $13. That kind of money for tiny little baby chicken wings with zero flavor and greasy as hell....nah. The Philly....dried meat with a single slice of cheese, with hardly any onions and peppers....nah. I've been stuck in bed with the flu for the past couple days. SaItines and Gatorade weren't cutting it anymore so I ordered a 10 of wing combo through GrubHub. First the order took an hour, I live 1.5 miles away. Okay, no biggie. I'm not doing anything but laying in bed. Next the food was cold upon arrival...great. Finally after reheating the food in the toaster oven, the fries and two flavors of wings (mild and garlic pepper) all tasted like old, burned oil. I was told it would be 20 min or more, so i switched to fries, which still took 20 minutes. The lemon pepper wings were not good.
