NTB did not have the lug nut key to remove the tires so I drove 15 miles to the dealer, bought a lug nut key and made a new appointment to have NTB install the tires. Drove back to NTB but they did not have my appointment. Fortunately NTB could fit me in. Unfortunately the store did not have the tires and could not refund my deposit- said I need to call the 800 number. Called the 800 number. The agent said the store only needed to cancel the appointment. He called the store and they could not find the appointment even though I was looking at the confirmation email and had the number. He took care of it. I wasted nearly 4 hours in total. Been a NTB customer for over 20 years. WILL NEVER GO BACK.

It looked like a circus- a worker almost dropped a wheel stud on his foot, the lady at the front was running around- failing to acknowledge that I walked in while another guy who I found out was named Marcus was calling back a guest on speaker phone asking her what she wanted done to her F150 that she'd already dropped off because he "totally forgot"... anyways... all I was in for was a state inspection. I needed to get my registration done and the DMV can be unpredictable. To make sure they had time, before I was checked in I asked "what's the wait? An hour?" Marcus said "yea, or so" - I decided to stay, set my timer and wait! Twenty minutes later, another lady comes in. Same thing. No appointment. Signs up to get in line for a state inspection. She's actually greeted by the lady who works there, unlike me! Thirty five minutes later, the lady is being called up to get checked out! This is where I almost lost my patience because my car was sitting in the sun the entire time... they never even pulled it into a bay, had my keys behind the desk the entire time- no one even looked at it. I let them check out and then I just go to the desk to ask for my keys. Marcus then asks ME- "wait how'd she get out before you for a state inspection?" Question. Of. The. Day. After that, all I got was a "Sorry, I went to lunch! I don't know what happened." I'm not even mad at Marcus! There's no leadership or accountability here so I genuinely think he doesn't know any better. No excuse. Do better. They will never get another opportunity to make me practice patience or waste my time. Kwik Kar on Frankfort took good care of me and it was cheaper! In and out in 35 minutes. Go to them.

What started as a simple oil change turned into weeks of frustration. I hope my experience saves…read moreyou time and money by avoiding this location. After the oil change, it was recommended the valve cover gasket be replaced. I agreed and the work was done. It's important to note that valve cover gaskets do not necessarily lead to visible oil leaks under the car. Shortly after getting my car back, I stalled out at multiple stops and had to bring it back in. It turns out they mixed up the PCV and breather tubes, just the beginning of their incompetence. After a driving the car for a bit after the PCV issue was corrected, I noticed that quite a bit of oil was visibily leaking out, an issue I had not had before their "repairs." I took it to a Chevy dealership, where they noted the engine was covered in oil. They did a dye test and identified leakage from the vacuum tube gasket, which they faulted the Midas for re-using parts that shouldn't be re-used and improper use to RTV. I did not even need to tell them that I had work done on it shortly before, as they could ascertain that from the shoddy job. I contacted the Midas dealership where they did refund their work on the valve cover gasket, but left me with the bill for the vacuum tube. Given the nature of the oil leak, it was stated to me by the dealership that there may be other oil leaks that are difficult to appreciate without driving it more. Sure enough, after driving more, there was leakage from the valve cover itself, the exact part they worked on the first time to place a new gasket. After corroborating their errors with a second independent technician, the location continues to refuse to acknowledge their mistakes and reimburse for their negligence. The manager Mike is obtuse and fails to appreciate evidence from the dealership. The owner Sheldon is the same level of obtuse and also arrogant and defiant about taking responsibility for the faulty work that has led to further exorbitant repair costs. As evidenced by the Yelp review from Jun 14, 2023 and a BBB complaint filed in 2024, this seems to be a recurrent issue for them.

WHILE I WAS IN THE STORE!! "I apologize, sir. Would you like to make another appointment for tomorrow? Not no, but HECK NO!

Have always got tire service done at Discount tire for the past 5 years. Never had them air my…read moretires once. Was driving home when I noticed my pressure was at 16 PSI in my front drivers side tire, so decided to stop by. I consistently asked if there was anything wrong with the tire, they said no & that they checked it. They air up all of my tires & I'm on my way. 10 miles later when I'm on a residential road going 40 mph and I switch lanes, the entire tire explodes. I brought it back 2 days later (they're closed on Sunday) and they said they can't replace it under warranty & that they had nothing to do with it. While I can recommend other Discount Tire locations, I unfortunately cannot recommend this one.

I let these guys know that and that the device will go off every 10-15 minutes while the car is on, I waited at their store while my car was being worked on to blow into the device as needed. They didn't come to get me a single time so I assumed they had turned the car off. It's turns out they just didn't care and let the device time out and lock out. It costs me another 150$ to get the device unlocked in this situation. After doing so I went back to the store and explained this situation to the manager and he claims it's not their fault. Even though I told them how this device works and I stayed while the car was being worked on so I could blow into the device. The manager wants to say that I should've have let the company know my car was being worked on but that is only for extended service times not for an oil change or alignment or a tire change. Every other shop I have taken my car to has understood this and knows how the devices work and the manager says they knew too so why did they not pay attention? Now I am out 150$! I have generally had good experiences with Kwik kar but not this location whether they try to up charge you by adding things you don't ask for or just being ignorant and not paying any attention. Go to a different location
