Ua four guys dropped in after a serious hunt around the block, parking wasn't a trick at all compared to the random stairs and seemingly hidden upper floor entry for this old school broody mood of tired woods and cozy couches. We settled and got greta service right in, timed mid afternoon and avoided any rush. Ordered up tacos, sliders, Reuben, and Burger, I noticed only the burger was sized properly! But prices normal for the city, beer went down right, and my Reuben tasted made well. Waitress explained her accent arrived from a dingy northern Ireland town called Kerry which I recall from Top Gear or somewhere! This became another fun adventure on our way to short weekend vacation out of Indiana.

Patriot House is tucked away in the upper area of embarcadero 2, therefore, it doesn't get a ton of foot traffic. My work does happy hours here often, because it is a reliable place to get a table for a large group. Surprisingly, when we came in yesterday, it was a lot more crowded than it usually is which adds to the vibe. In general though, I wouldn't come here for the vibes since some days it can be relatively empty. There is an outdoor patio which is nice for sunny days! Overall, the food and drinks are good and the service is great! Our favorite menu item is the fries - they are almost like salt and vinegar chips. Super tasty! Overall, this is a good place for groups to come and get a table :)

Came here for dinner Saturday night before attending the Punchline comedy show. Patriot House is a hidden gem! Ordered hamburgers and the grilled margherita sandwich. Ordered vinegar fries, two Lagunitas beers and two margaritas. Everything was incredibly delicious! Hands down one of the best burgers! They did a great job with the margarita and did not water it down with ice. Our server/bartender Aleisha was awesome and super friendly, absolutely loved her! The bill was incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and beverages! Ambiance was very cool, it was very clean and the bathroom was very clean! Great job and thank you for the awesome food and service! Hope to get back soon!

Stopped in for some shareable's with a group of friends and ordered the following: Lemon pepper wings - good Fried cheese curds - meh House fries - absolutely not Spinach artichoke dip - ok "Totchos" (tater tot nachos) - ok Service and ambience were great, food meh. I'll definitely come back and order some of their mains to see if they are better.

My friends and I ate here before a comedy show at punchline comedy club. Great location to eat before a show. Big indoor eating area and super cute outdoor patio to enjoy on a nice day! They have happy hour 7 days a week with a good variety of items. We shared totchos and salt and vinegar fries. Both were delicious! Drinks were good and everyone enjoyed their food. The tacos were filling and fresh. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. Really happy with our experience!

Intimate, dark atmosphere but plenty of seating and tables for large crowds, especially on Wednesday for trivia night. There's plenty of screens for watching games and an outdoor patio area (with seating) if the weather is nicer and its not too windy in FiDi. It's on the 2nd floor of the Embarcadero Center, tucked away and not the easiest spot to find unless you know where it is. Service is consistently friendly and somewhat quick, even with peak hours (like trivia nights). I'm usually there with friends and almost always stick to the happy hour deals, which are not the best I've had but great bites to be something you can always order and split while folks order drinks. There's usually a cocktail or boozy slushie of the day and the rest of the happy hour menu is great. I personally am fond of the spinach and artichoke dip. Not a date night spot, nor would it be my go-to for dinner, but it is a great hangout spot to invite a bunch of people without committing an exact number, and chat and catch up with whatever friends show up over a couple of drinks. I think that's true for most of the locals who know this gem. Trivia is a plus. I think people are always a little surprised they don't have military discounts (despite the theming of the place).

Needed to brag a quick dinner before seeing a show at the Punch Line and Patriot House was located just across the street which made it the perfect option. Service was prompt and we both enjoyed our meals. I had the chicken quesadilla which had a good amount of chicken and peppers in it. My husband got the fish and chips and was really impressed.

PUB GATHERING My co-workers stated this place used to be the Holding Company, which was a gathering place for the insurance industry. The first time I ate at the Patriot House was around August of this year as a lunch gathering for co-workers to mingle as most of us have hybrid work schedule. For lunch I ordered one of the specials - tomato risotto with salmon. I've had mixed experiences with salmon at restaurants as they tend to be overcooked. At the Patriot House the salmon wasn't overcooked, but moist. I also enjoyed the crispy skin of the salmon. With the tomato risotto this dish was hearty and filling. I washed down the dish with a soothing cider. The second time I came for another company gathering in December. I don't like order the same item twice. This time instead asking for a special I ordered an item from the menu. The item that really intrigued me was the braised beef short rib. When I received the dish the short rib was placed on a dollop of mashed potatoes. The savory beef rib matched well with the airy mashed potatoes. The portion of the short beef rib and mashed potato balanced each other. I didn't drink cider this time but ginger ale. Inside the Patriot House the decor has a dark amber color that makes this place look similar to a pub. This place has an inviting, soothing atmosphere that is opposite of a dive bar. I can see my co-workers said this place is a great gathering place in our industry. Regardless if the occasion isn't work related I can see myself come back to the Patriot House for a nice meal to eat and a cool pint to drink.

My husband and I stopped in for happy hour for the first time and were really happy we did! The food was really good. Honestly, probably the best wings I've had in San Francisco. They were meaty and large and well flavored. My husband like the sliders too. Really inexpensive happy hour meals and drinks! They also have daily specials or events happening. We happened to be there during bingo night, so got to play a few games before we went to our show. It was a nice way to break up the week! We will definitely be back! The bar itself is beautiful, and they had some great areas to watch games on TV. We took a peek at the dinner menu and they look like they have some pretty great options outside of happy hour so we'll have to check those out another time.

It's a nice pub with a great selection of beer and food. Their chicken wings are especially good. Inside, the seating is a bit dark and intimate, but they have good screens for watching sports. The outside patio is nice and bright. Their service is good and friendly.

Pure crap on a plate, perfect faire for someone on Death Row. I've tried this dump a few times with mediocre being the best compliment to offer. Today was so very special... Cheesesteak that isn't served as a cheesesteak and lacking the namesake... steak. Some bright mind decided to add red chili flakes. Good for some, not for me and this presented a dilemma. No where is this mentioned on the menu, yet it exists. Couldn't-wouldn't eat it. Certain medical conditions will not allow this. Salad a a side, cool, except for the vinaigrette which consisted on questionable balsamic and nothing more. Alternative was a "Ranch" option which was basically mayo. Again "Pure Crap". Waste of money and time.

It wasn't just pre-pandemic, it was when north beach was uber community oriented. *sigh* Those days may be gone, but petite lil's is filling that sense of community void rather nicely. As soon as we walked in, we perched ourselves at the bar, & we were made to feel nothing but welcome. I had H with me, & she & I tend to do that thing where we "don't know" what we should order, as if we've never been to a bar before, even though god knows, we have. We are many things, but ingénues are not one of them. No doubt it would be a tired game for a bartender lacking in prowess, personality, & patience. Fortunately for us, you won't find that kind of bartender here. Because we are not ingénues, our days of ordering silly things (fireball), "insider" things (green chartreuse, fernet), or just stupid things (fireball) are happily behind us. We are Napa Valley & wine lovers so of course we naturally default to wine. Another truth that makes that initial game of "what should we get" so ridiculous. After carefully perusing the impressive menu, we did order wine, but we noted the martini and Negroni options. Hungry? The menu is full of stellar options; caviar, oysters (both raw or broiled), steak frites, charcuterie...even French omelettes. They do a "booth steak," a 32oz tomahawk! $99 (limit only 2 per night). We had such a great time, instead of meeting up with my husband elsewhere when he got off work as planned, we had him join us here. I saw his face light up when he saw that tomahawk on the menu so needless to say it's now on the list. It's a huge space (always was), so it's perfect for a night out w all your peeps, & any game day/night. It was our first time, but we were treated like we've been here a hundred times. Everyone was. Incredible menu. Great vibe. We will be back for dinner and... everything. 5 stars
