Just popped in for drinks before the Giants game. Cool vibe with games and seating to chill out. Drinks were good too. I really enjoyed their Chai Old fashion. Unique twist on a classic favorite. Didn't try the food but maybe next time. The venue looks like it would be a fun place to host a party. An additional bar in the back space which could accommodate a nice group. Clean rustic style bathrooms. Overall nice space

Close to the ballpark and quite a few different Muni lines, I didn't realize I'd been to Victory Hall before for a local election night party celebrating a local politician. By night, it's a chic lounge with a full bar, and by day, it's Southern food from Little Skillet (soul food in SF!) The ambiance is dark and chill, which differs from the outdoor parklet which is surrounded by trees. Booth seating is pretty lush. For lunch, I ordered the Hearty Cobb Salad and shared the Skillet Mac & Cheese and biscuits. My compatriot got the sausage bowl. We both got iced teas, however mine was sweetened and his was not. The salad was large and came with a nice amount of avocado. The fried chicken was moist and flavorful. The batter wasn't too thick or overwhelming so the chicken flavor and crunch could shine through. Mac n cheese was creamy. Biscuit was crisp and warm. I have no complaints--I left stuffed and satisfied. Service was good. Lots of people come here for work lunches from nearby offices.

I came here for the 415 Coffee Club event on 10/26, and it was such a fun surprise to see Victory Hall & Parlor transform from a bar into a cozy, creative coffee spot for the morning! The atmosphere was industrial-chic with warm lighting, upbeat music, and friendly people chatting around copper-topped tables. The bar staff were super welcoming and kept the flow smooth even with the brunch crowd. I ordered the fried chicken & waffle, which was crispy, buttery, and absolutely hit the spot. I loved that each table had fresh flowers and little "conversation cards" that encouraged guests to connect, such a thoughtful touch. The 415 Coffee Club crew curated a perfect blend of community, music, and caffeine, and Victory Hall provided the ideal backdrop with its beautiful bar setup, colorful lighting, and great energy. I'll definitely be back for both their regular evening menu. A great reminder of how SF still knows how to mix good design, good people, and good coffee

Victory Hall is a great hidden spot to hang out with a large group of friends if you ever find yourself in this area of SoMA. Victory Hall is spacious, they have a full bar -- offering beer, wine and cocktails, there's food available from the shared kitchen of Little Skillet next door, and you can order via QR code across multiple, separate tabs. Drinks are well-balanced, do not taste watered down, and prices are in line with other bars in the city. I had a chance to try out their bloody Mary and Oaxacan negroni on my most recent visit and really enjoyed the flavors in both. The concentration of tomato in the bloody Mary was richer than most that I've had in the past -- resulting in a thicker texture. No crazy over the top garnishes here, but if you're a bloody Mary fan, you'll certainly enjoy the spicy one offered here. Service is hit or miss depending on who your server is, so you may have to flag somebody down to get a refill for water, but the QR code ordering does help out the situation a bit. If you're ever in charge of planning a corporate Happy Hour or finding a spot for a round of farewell drinks for co-workers, Victory Hall is perfect for that.

We came by for their Sunday brunch today, and we were both blown away by the aesthetic of the interior. It's cute on the outside but come in for a true treasure. The interior blends art murals with brick walls, big booth seating and unique bar seating. It's an old building retouched with charm. And the food, awesome. My girlfriend got the blackened chicken salad and I got the boneless fried chicken plate with grits and collards... still drooling from those delicious collards. We sat the bar and were well tended to by the bartender. Great spot. Will return.

Biscuits! Yes please! The butter is delicious!

Staff was very nice. Place is a little dark. Their pork was delicious! If you are coming here, have a beer, biscuits with their amazing sage honey butter & mashed potato bowl with pork. I think you will be happy! All 3 five stars for sure! We appreciated we could sit & eat before a Giants game. Didn't like their fried chicken salad. There was approx 20% meat, mostly batter & skin on their fried chicken Others loved their pork dishes! Super chill, super casual. Beer, biscuits w/special butter & pork at least 5 stars! Wish we skipped the mixed drinks & fried chicken/fish.

I like Victory Hall for a few key things. One, service, really solid bartenders. Two, ambiance, have to say the space/music/decoration combo gives off positive vibes. Three, food, diverse menu regardless of what you might be in the mood for. Lastly, the Happy Hour (see photo attached). Runs all night Monday and from 2-pm, Tues-Friday. If you're looking for a good spot to pre/post game after watching the Giants, come on in!

We came here for brunch on New Year's Day, and enjoyed the live entertainment and music, delicious food, friendly service, and winning a raffle prize on the first day of the year, lol :D It's located in an alley, but street parking was easy right in front of the restaurant (in that alleyway). The venue is beautiful, and has almost an industrial feel but perhaps converted to what it is currently... clean, modern, spacious, two rooms (each with its own bar), unique light fixtures, and lots of artwork and color on the walls bringing so much character to the place. They even have a shelf of board games at the entrance, right next to the host podium. Little Skillet, whose kitchen is right next door, serves some amazing food here. The chicken and waffles definitely live up to the hype, juicy and crisp pieces of chicken (your choice of what pieces you want), and thick and fluffly waffles! The crab & seafood gumbo was amazing as well, the closest thing to soup that they had, the entire dish with awesome flavors and ingredients. The beignets aren't the best I've had, but they were still pretty damn good, light and airy, not too sweet, and even better as leftovers. If you're looking for great food and drinks and perhaps some live entertainment in a laid-back atmosphere, I definitely recommend this spot.

This place is a great place to meet up with friends especially when some are vegan and others are not. We went for the launch of their new vegan bar bites curated by Chef Raina and they were amazing. My personal favorite was the "No Crab Cakes" which were crispy and flavored perfectly. The Brussels sprouts were so soft as well, I just wish they came with a sauce. We also tried the vegan tacos which were simple but decent and the garlic fries which made a good snack. They also have non-vegan options and a whole dinner menu. On the bar side, their happy hour Moscow mule was one of the best I've ever had.

Would have loved to experience what looks like a beautiful spot...however, I was willfully ( thats the important part) ignored for a full 10 minutes, by 2 different bartenders at the bar that only had 2 other parties at it. Oh well.

    Dyanna Q.

They've done such an amazing job with the space! I remember when it used to be the old 330 Ritch spot. It's more classy/beautifully decorated but still has the hometown feel. I stopped by for drinks and appetizers - both of which were delicious - and can't wait to come back for a meal. There's a lot of space to sit inside and out and a back room you can reserve for parties. There's also space for a DJ/band, as well as a beautiful mural depicting a Filipina woman dancing. Definitely a spot to check out!

No, but you can show up with 20 people at happy hour (preferably earlier rather than later) and grab your own tables!

Is it very busy on a Monday around 6pm?

This Monday it will be busy due to the Giants Baseball game that starts at 7:00pm. Are you bringing in a large party? Let me know if you have any questions so we can…

To celebrate America's 250th birthday, my friends and I decided to stop by Hardwood Bar & Smokery…read moreas it's one of the few BBQ establishments in SF. All seating is bar style with high tables hence the name "Hardwood Bar." The food was okay and I'd much rather go to Fikscue if I'm feeling BBQ next time to be honest. We shared ribs and each of us got an entree. One of my friends often orders from here for delivery and was excited to try it in person so that the food would be hot. Surprisingly, our tri tip and brisket came out slightly cold so it wasn't that different from delivery... The ribs were okay and not the most tender. Our server was great and service was good despite the restaurant being relatively full and served by one person. What I find the most perplexing is how they calculate the "SF mandate" fee and sales tax. I'm local to SF so I'm used to restaurants tacking on this "SF mandate"/"SF healthy mandate" fee, but their calculations just seem a bit off (see receipt). If we're calculating this correctly, 4% of $130.40 should be $5.22 and 8.63% of $130.40 should be $11.25. If you include the SF mandate fee in the tax calculation, then the $11.74 is right (if you include their calculation of the SF mandate fee). I'm not going to argue over a 50 cents or so but it's the principle of it! They should definitively state the actual % of 4.35% they're charging instead of just stating 4%. I mean at scale -- it adds up right? It rubbed me the wrong way for sure.

They are about to celebrate their 20th anniversary and one can see why. They make the best fried chicken in town! Not just great fried chicken, but other great dishes as well. We always start with fried okra and fried pickles. The fried okra is always cooked to perfection, and never slimy! The fried pickles are thin, crispy with a spicy remoulade that pairs perfectly. The corn bread comes with a delicious, sweet butter and the Red Beans and Rice with Andouille is not to be missed. The mashed potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese are always ordered along with a bucket of fried chicken. The fried chicken here is crunchy, juicy and full of flavor. Now it's sixteen years later. After an early start to a Sunday Valkyries game, my friend brought us here for a post game dinner. After finding a parking space a block away, we walked up a little after 6:30 pm. When I reached the entrance, I noticed the sketch board and wrote my name below the names and guest numbers already there. When I asked the hostess, she told me it was likely a twenty to thirty minute wait. The dining room was packed as well as the sidewalk tables and outdoor dining structure. Being hungry and antsy, I walked the various tables to observe the service progression to estimate when we'd be seated. About 35 minutes later, we were seated at the sidewalk table next to the entrance and given menus. It's been a while so a menu study was needed. After some discussion, we decided on our meals and agreed to share bites of each other's food. First came the Acme French baguette and butter (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=b_xeRM764lejQiCnELp7OA), a necessary vehicle to sop any gravy or sauce. Two of us had the French onion soup (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=rJ9tQeC9Al9A0yCiHnA3Fw); it was as I remember, hearty broth chocked with tasty onions with gooey stretchy cheese underneath a nicely browned top. Their staple is consistent with what I remember. My friend ordered the Les Moules 24, poulette (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=ZgxJSrYmiEuwipp8uvkJHA), garlic, shallots, bacon, white wine, cream, parsley; the mussels were good, most if not all opened shells in a variety of sizes. The sauce or broth is the key especially with the baguette slices to enjoy the delicious flavors. For my main meal, i had the pork chop (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=tk0gypyufB2AL0olq-KPHA), Brussels sprouts, bacon, apple cider mustard sauce, suggested and cooked medium; I really enjoyed this as it had a nice outside sear while the meat was tender and still juicy after I cut in. The flavors from the accompaniments paired well and the portions were generous. In fact, a fellow diner mostly ate the accompaniments as our shared format in trying the other dishes filled my tummy. I tried a few bites of my friend's roasted duck confit, French fries (subbed from potatoes gratin), haricot vert, port reduction; sorry, no photo as this disappeared relatively quickly; the duck was tender and fork tender with a smoky flavor as it came right off the bone. I also tried another diner's fettucine, creamy white wine sauce, mushrooms (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=X5em6PctUtXUbiuM7uLmPg); the balance of sauce to pasta was perfect and you know me and mushrooms. It was tasty and is definitely hearty, portions and taste wise. As we dined, more diners added their names to the wait list until there were only two names left when we left around 8:30 pm. The guests were a mix of neighborhood locals and sports fans who came from events since Chase Center and Oracle Park are nearby. I saw a table with guys wearing Giants and Braves jerseys. Thanks to J. Garen who waited on our table and the bus staff who cleared empty plates and bowls and refilled out water glasses. Big thanks for Naomi, the hostess, who kept all waiting guests updated and kept a watchful eye to make sure the tables turn efficiently. As we left, we greeted waiting guests in Valkyries jerseys and we briefly talked about the game and, of course, gave our "Go Valks" cheer. Looking forward to our next meal here.
