Worst experience ever. I've constantly had bad service for 4 years now but today was my last time going. I took my two children. We ordered our drinks and food together. 40 mins later, after being avoided completely, the server comes up and says she doesn't have our order. Just a nice all American diner. I moved to the area during Covid and drove by this place a lot and kept meaning to check it out, but never did. Recently popped in a couple times and I love it. The staff are all friendly and hard working, my order has always been correct and well prepared, and the prices are good (especially nowadays). It's becoming a regular breakfast spot for me. Very friendly staff as soon as you walk in. They offer a rewards program so clearly they have a good following. I tried the lamb gyro on a pita. It looked like sausage which was different but it was tasty. There were healthy options, none of them sang to me. I'm glad I know this option exists 24/7. I've been going to the Patriot for many years. Never had a bad meal until my recent visit with my daughter. She ordered the baked fish. Which is supposed to be haddock. Not so! Absolute worse place I've ever eaten. The food looks like what it's called but every single thing tastes like NOT what it is. Eggs don't taste like eggs, bacon not bacon, corn beef hash tasted like aluminum. I love food. I take my time savoring every bite of anything I eat. I literally feel like getting my stomach pumped just to get what they call food out of my body asap. A lot of ppl in and around town love the food, problem is most are drunk, and there at 3am after a typical townie bar crawl. BTW bars in woonsocket don't close so imagine the condition of the people going out to eat at that time. Best advice for those looking for chow early in the morning, or just looking for food....avoid this place at all costs. All costs. Afternoon was going to rest and the full Moon arrived early. Homeboys stomach gave him a grumble so we had to make up our minds. Looked on the phone a few times to break this waging purgatory but came up a dollar short. We hopped in the whip driving north from the bucket. My trusty stead barreling down side streets, hungry foot on the gas till we hit something shiny. A silver potato gleaming in the distance nestled against a sea of car dealerships. I had to hit the swerve pulling in to a crew of serval heads, mad respect and god bless. The blue awning crackled in the center like a spider web but I'm the fly and this place is the spider. We sat down under patriotic colors and the truth was served instantly "Today's menu- take it or leave it" the sign said. We both got a thick piece of meat followed by a sweet treat by the end we couldn't breathe. I learned the outcome of the Oscars and the number of times the crew came here in high school. They can't wait for this place to be 24 hours again and ya know what? me too cuz who wouldn't want the egg to be sticky and the tattoos temporary after a night of sticking around just to see what'll happen. This is a place of loyalty. Not a customized peep show of elegant frills and progressive delights. It reminds me of the place we come from. We love their breakfast its the best around. there's usually always a wait on the weekends but worth the wait for sure. The only thing I do not like is while standing waiting for a seat the cook whom we can see through the open window is sweating a lot and has long hair and a beard and has NO hairnet on and he's wiping his sweat with his gloves on. My boyf and I were extremely hungry and came in after a long drive back from Massachusetts and six flags. We expected a great meal and came here in empty stomachs and he got almost no fried had bacon missing in his chicken sandwich and then to top it off my sandwich was completely soggy and wet and had to throwaway the whole f**in sandwich away. I'd been here once before and had a decent experience. Good food, good service. Last week was my second time, and it didn't go very well. When we were seated, the first thing each person in our party noticed was a big smear of fudge sauce in the middle of the table. We were certain our waitress noticed it too, but maybe not since we chose to clean it up ourselves after several minutes. The bigger challenge was, unfortunately, our waitress. She didn't write down our orders, which surprised us since two people in our group had pretty specific preferences, allergies, etc (one can't eat cheese, others had some edits in their orders, too). When our food arrived, none of the requests had been done (!), and one meal that said came with toast - didn't/was forgotten. When we pointed out the bigger concerns to the waitress, she blamed the kitchen, "Sorry, I did give the order right, they did it wrong." Additionally, no one came over to our table to see if we needed anything during our meal. Pointing things out to restaurant staff is never fun, but it's even worse when you have to get their attention in order to do so. read more

This place is a JOKE, I ordered a steak pepper and cheese sandwich with fries and a steak and eggs platter. It took 45 minutes for pickup they quoted 20 minutes. The sandwich had no cheese and looked like they took a slab of steak on a bun with onions and fries with a tomato. There was a hair in my home fries I called them to tell them that I was not happy with the service I felt that I was misled as I asked for one thing and got another and before I could even get into the situation with my steak Eggs and home fries she said I don't know what to tell you that's what you ordered and said you don't need to speak to the manager I am the manager and I said well this won't be happening again and I hung up. This place is a sad excuse of a business It's pathetic treating customers this way! read more
